Man Fined for Shouting in Front of Mosque in the Hours after British Soldier Beheaded

In the early morning hours on the day after British soldier Lee Rigby was beheaded in the streets of London last year, a man stood in front of a Scottish mosque and began shouting in defense of Rigby, even grabbing and shaking the gate. That rant by Grant Gallagher has now officially netted him a fine.

Via Edinburgh News:

A man who launched into a racist tirade outside a Scottish Mosque the morning after drummer Lee Rigby was hacked to death in London has escaped with a £150 fine.

Grant Gallagher caused a disturbance outside the Mosque in Livingston, West Lothian.

He was heard shouting: “The soldier was innocent. He didn’t deserve to die – you terrorists killed him.”

He angrily grabbed the gate with both hands and shook it, screaming racist abuse…

…Gallagher was detained and arrested some time later. He made no reply to caution and charge.

Gallagher, 55, of Lime Grove, Livingston, pled guilty to behaving in a threatening and abusive manner on May 26 last year.

He admitted shouting and swearing and making racist remarks during the incident, classed as a racially aggravated offence.

Presumably, this was a mosque that didn’t have any direct connection to Rigby’s murder and while Gallagher had reportedly been drinking, the larger issue is one of great frustration. Westerners are fed up with political correctness and weak-kneed leaders who refuse to confront the elephant in the room.

Whether you agree with Gallagher’s actions or not, most westerners can sympathize with that kind of frustration.
