A gunman in Denmark opened fire with an automatic weapon at an anti-Islam event, killing one person and injuring three officers. The religion of the masked assailant has not been specified yet, but its quite obvious that whoever he is, that he is Muslim. Here is the only photo of the killer that the media has released so far:

The killer, after making his damage, ran away in a stolen Volkswagen Polo that later discovered empty, said police.

The victim was about 40 years old and he has not been identified yet, and two of the wounded officers are part of Danish security services, which has made it clear that the attack was a terrorist attack.

One of those present at the event was Lars Vilks, a Swedish artist who has made paintings making fun of the Prophet Muhammad, and he believes that he was the intended target in the attack, saying:

The killer is described as “25-30 years old with an athletic build who was carrying a black automatic weapon”

Helle Merete Brix, one of the event’s organizers, said:

I saw a masked man running past,” said”I clearly consider this as an attack on Lars Vilks.

Niels Ivar Larsen, one of the speakers at the event, said

Police returned the fire and I hid behind the bar. I felt surreal, like in a movie

Danish Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt said

all indications are that the shooting … was a political attack and therefore an act of terror.
