Watching last night’s debate Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz were trying to take a shot at the title but miserably failed and will not even put a tiny dent in Donald Trump who will be the Republican nominee.
Trump’s tax issue will not hurt him and neither will the ‘Trump University’ grow into any sort of scandal.
These days not too many people care unless it is a major issue. In the old days way before Muammar Gaddafi of Libya was ousted, he hired Billy Carter (Jimmy Carter’s stupid brother) during the 1970s as a foreign trade representative and it dragged the White House into a major controversy. Today, Obama’s brother works for Sudan’s Omar Bashir, a recognized terrorist, and it matters little and no one seems to care.
Rubio picking on Trump’s supposed 200 million from his father actually helps Trump. Americans have no problem with inheritance, or money, and to become rich is what the crowds love to hear.
Cruz and Rubio looked very desperate, like two hyenas nipping at a lion. Trump will dominate on Super Tuesday and will be the unstoppable candidate. Rubio looks like a college student who cannot make his credit card payments and Trump will crush Rubio in his home state and both Cruz and Rubio will be soon forgotten in the dustbin of history.
Do not believe all the opinions you watch on TV. The idea that people oppose Trump is hogwash and that Rubio gained after he attacked Trump, is simply not true, and I can bet it made people hate him even more. He looked like a disrespectful youngster who wanted to transfer the ‘robot’ image he gained to slap it on Trump. It didn’t work. While Trump repeats his bullet-points, he is unlike Rubio because he sounds genuine.
Trump defies everything customary about politics. All what Trump had to do was to drive his basic message and he looks powerful denigrating the two whining belabor mouths. Cruz’s voice sounds awful, a man with a high-pitch sound and he speaks and moves like a robot.
Trump won hands down and since there are no debates from now to Super Tuesday, the cage fight is over and the victory is etched on stone.
As far as the whole foreign policy part of the debate, Cruz and Rubio tried to land some punches regarding the Palestinian-Israeli issues. “The Palestinians aren’t a real estate deal,” Rubio kept drilling Trump to make him sound stupid. But this will not work. If Trump sees the Israeli-Palestinian conflict as a kind of real estate deal, it is no different than every president since 1967, who made the conflict a failing “legacy deal”. Trump said it will be the toughest deal. American conservatives understand that only Jesus can settle that one, and Trump’s words ring a bell. Him saying that he wants to be fair with ‘all parties’ is simply to gain votes from the left. Trump will attract the “liberal” or “moderate” rather than just “conservative” or “very conservative.” Ted Cruz’s ‘conservative’ talk will hurt him since Americans do not want politics heavily involved with religion. Trump by this and his comments on Planned-Parenthood will draw support from a wide swath of voters. Americans by enlarge hate abortion and extracting out only that part will not give him the image of some Nero who wants to burn the whole kitten-kaboodle.
Trump wants to leave the Middle East mess and does not want to meddle with it. Israel likes that. They are tired of the American meddling and so are Bashar Al-Assad of Syria and Al-Sisi of Egypt are sick of American meddling who know little about the Middle East. They all cry out ‘just leave us alone’ and this also includes Russia’s Putin. Even Americans themselves are tired of watching politicians getting involved overseas and want to see inner progress.
Attacking Trump made Cruz and Rubio look like two midgets which gave a pervasive impression of Trump’s strength and stature versus weakness. They are substantially shorter than Trump and with Trump in the center they just looked awful, especially Rubio’s smirk made him look like a youngster smart-allek.
The rest of the debate (whether John Kerry is worse than Hillary Clinton) were irrelevant and Telemundo belaboring with Rubio was insignificant. What American wants to watch some bimbo asking “hey what are you doing about Mexico or Puerto Rico”? You got to be kidding me.
After Super Tuesday is all done with, Rubio and Cruz will look like two Cuban taxi cab drivers fighting over a lower level curbside spot while Trump’s 757 takes off the runway.
Trump will scoop on Super Tuesday. To the skeptic (who was the majority in the beginning), they said it was far-fetched that Trump would even run prior to his announcement. Yet in mid-April 2015, even before he ran, we predicted not only that he will run but that he would rise to the top and it happened just as we said. Mind you, we made that prediction when The Donald first started when he only gained an insignificant 4%.
