I remember this back in 2018, when Poland and Ukraine were in friction over the historical reality of the horrors committed by Ukraine’s nationalist heroes upon hapless Polish civilians. Then the war broke out in February of 2022, and Poland was Ukraine’s biggest supporter, and Ukraine’s vicious nationalism was kept hush hush and eclipsed by Poland’s anti-Russian sentiment.
