Pat Smith, the mother of Sean Smith – one of four Americans murdered by Islamic fundamentalists in Benghazi – sat down for an interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper on the eve of today’s hearings in the House Oversight Committee. The quote from the interview that’s dominating the headlines is when Smith said, ‘I blame Hillary’ but there’s something else that came out of the interview that is off-the-charts absurd.

When asked by Tapper why she hasn’t gotten answers from the Obama administration, Pat Smith said she was told it was because she’s not a member of the immediate family.
