Video: Megyn Kelly interviews Rep. Jim McDermott; doesn’t bring up the IRS Uber-Scandal when presented with Golden opportunity

One day after Rep. Jim McDermott (D-WA) came to the defense of the IRS and chided leaders of Tea Party groups at a House Ways and Means Committee hearing, he appeared on America Live with Megyn Kelly. Here is a portion of what McDermott said in defense of his actions in that hearing.

Via Fox News:

“What I was trying to do was to say this process of asking for a tax-exemption is one that, once you ask for one, you open yourself up to being questioned and I think that we want the questions to be on both sides.” – Rep. Jim McDermott, June 5, 2013

Had Kelly responded by asking McDermott to react to the treatment received by Malik Obama’s Barack H. Obama Foundation (BHOF) by Lois Lerner, the congressman certainly would have had a difficult time answering that question. As he, no doubt, would have been stammering, Kelly could have lowered the boom on Malik’s work with a genocidal dictator of Sudan.

But alas, she didn’t go there. Still worth watching.
