A photo of Bowe Bergdahl posing gleefully with a Taliban captor has been released on twitter. The man in the photo with Bergdahl is said to be Taliban commander Badruddin Haqqani, who was killed by a U.S. drone strike in 2012.
As Shoebat.com has reported, the affinity Bergdahl’s father Bob has for the Taliban clearly warrant further investigation and increased scrutiny relative to Bowe’s alleged desertion / treason. This photo is simply another piece of evidence.
At minimum, a picture is worth 10,000 words and this one bolsters the claims made by Bergdahl’s fellow soldiers. It detracts from the attempts at spin by the likes of State Department spokesmen Marie Harf and Jen Psaki, both of whom attempted to elevate Bergdahl and diminish those who knew him and were there when Bergdahl turned up missing.
MSNBC’s Chuck Todd said the White House told him Bergdahl was “swift-boated” by his fellow soldiers.
