New revelations have shown that witnesses who were in Douma, Syria, have said that the “chemical attack” which Bashar al-Assad is being accused of, was staged and fake. As we read in one report from RT:
As the reputation of the controversial militant-linked White Helmets continues to crumble, even the US State Department seems to be having second thoughts about supporting the group, reportedly placing a freeze on its funding.
The State Department’s support for the White Helmets is “under active review,”according to a CBS News report. The group reportedly hasn’t received funding in weeks, but neither has it received formal confirmation that Washington’s financial assistance has come to a complete halt. This would mean a significant blow for the group, as the money accounts for about one-third of the White Helmets’ overall funding.
An internal State Department document cited by CBS said that its Near East Bureau needed confirmation from President Donald Trump’s administration by April 15 in order to approve funding for the White Helmets. If that wasn’t received, the department would initiate “shut-down procedures on a rolling basis.”
Online reaction to the report has been mixed, with some continuing to hail the work of the White Helmets. Among them was Samantha Power, the former US ambassador to the UN.
….
The report comes amid major controversy surrounding the White Helmets, after residents of Douma, Syria, testified in The Hague at the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW). The hearing centered on the alleged chemical attack that was used as a justification for the April 14 strikes by the US, Britain, and France.
In a press conference following the hearing, hospital staff and 11-year-old Hassan Diab – who is seen in troubling White Helmets footage following the alleged attack – said there was no sign of a chemical incident at the time and that the White Helmets’ video with children was apparently staged.
The United States, Turkey and Israel are working to destabilize the Middle East. All three of these governments fully support regime change in Syria, which will lead to even more violence, massacres, Christian persecution and a very dangerous power vacuum that will only give Turkey the opportunity to take control in Syria. The bombings of Syria are not only being backed by these governments, but are being commended by the jihadists who Syrian forces are fighting. For example, Jaish al-Islam (the Army of Islam) terrorist group, who Syrian forces were fighting in Douma (the town against which Syria is being accused of using chemical weapons), is calling for more bombs against Syria. Jaish al-Islam (the Army of Islam) is a rebel group that has been confirmed to have used chemical weapons against civilians in Aleppo. In reality, the US, Israel and Turkey are aiding the real chemical attackers.
The supposed chemical attack is said to have taken place in the Syrian town of Douma. Whats interesting is that during the time that this chemical attack is said to have been done, this town of Douma was under the control of a terrorist group called the Army of Islam (Jaish al-Islam), which is backed by the Saudi government. It was just days ago that the Syrian military retook the town from these jihadists. The Saudi-backed terrorists of the Army of Islam were tormenting civilians and keeping them hostage, putting people in cages to use them as human shields.
The Army of Islam is calling for the US to bomb Syria even more, arguing that the most recent bombing was not enough. As Reuters reports:
The war has been going Assad’s way since Russia intervened on his side in 2015. From holding less than a fifth of Syria in 2015, Assad has recovered to control the largest chunk of the country with Russian and Iranian help.
Mohamad Alloush, political chief of the Jaish al-Islam faction that had controlled Douma, said the Western strikes on Saturday would not be enough.
“As long as this regime and its security agencies exist, the chemical (attacks) will continue because there is safety from the consequences that would end it,” he said. “And (Assad) is portraying what happened as a victory.”
In other words, the Islamists are supporting the very policy that NATO and the government of Israel are backing.
In 2016, it was reported by Amnesty International that this same rebel group, the Army of Islam, used chemical weapons against Kurdish YPG fighters and civilians in the area of the Sheikh Maqsood neighborhood in Aleppo. In fact, after it was found undeniable that the Army of Islam did indeed use chemical weapons, the terrorist group issued a statement that while chemical weapons were utilized, the ones who used them were going against the rules: “One of the field commanders in Aleppo used weapons that he was not authorized to use in these kinds of confrontations.”
But, the spokesperson for the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) in Syrian Kurdistan (Rojava), Redur Khalil, told Kurdistan24, “The group’s statement came after many conclusive evidences and reports of chemical gas being used in shelling Aleppo’s Sheikh Maqsoud district.”
So, Syria is getting bombed after it was accused of using chemical weapons on an area called Douma that was controlled by a terrorist organization, the Army of Islam, that has actually used chemical weapons, and this was all happening when Syrian forces were just about to completely drive out the Army of Islam from Douma. And to top it all off, the Army of Islam is a terrorist group that is backed by Saudi Arabia, which means that it is protected by NATO. So you do not think that your government already knows all of this? They know more.
On April 6th, the AP reported that there was a ten day truce in Douma that was broken after the jihadists of the Army of Islam did not want to comply to concessions. Before fighting resumed, as the AP reports, helicopters “dropped leaflets on Douma saying rebels should either leave to the northern town of Jarablus or hand over their weapons and receive amnesty with Russian and Syrian government guarantees that would include not drafting young men to the military service until after six to 10 months.” Now, why would a government, so evil and bent on committing genocide with chemical weapons, drop leaflets warning its enemies? The propaganda coming from the US and NATO has too much grey area. Its like calling Israel, which also drops leaflets on areas it plans to attack, a genocidal state.
A source in the Syrian government has even said that the US bombing of Syria was done to protect the rebels from Syrian forces which were right on the point of repulsing the rebels. The same source also said that “The pretext of using chemicals in Ghouta was pre-planned and there is documented and confirmed information about this against which the Syrian state has previously warned”.
Moreover, it makes no sense that the Syrian military would use chemical weapons when it was dominating in Douma and had no need of such weaponry. Again, the accusations of a “chemical weapons attack” by Assad is not meritorious of one’s full credulity given how the US has a record of making false allegations to justify militarist policies. Moreover, we cannot forget that the objective to destabilize Syria is part of the plan .
Just this Friday, the United States, Britain and France coordinated the bombing of three locations in Syria. The attack comes after accusations, made by the US government, that President Bashar al-Assad carried out a chemical attack that killed more than forty people.
Last weekend Trump called Assad a monster, saying: “These are not the actions of a man …They are crimes of a monster instead.” After the bombings of Syria, al-Assad went on Twitter and said: “Honorable souls cannot be humiliated.”
After the bombing, Trump then praised the action:
A perfectly executed strike last night. Thank you to France and the United Kingdom for their wisdom and the power of their fine Military. Could not have had a better result. Mission Accomplished!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) April 14, 2018
Amazingly, when Trump was campaigning he was calling for allowing Assad and Russia fight ISIS:
Now Trump is calling Assad a monster, ordering the bombing of Syria, and making warnings to Russia:
Russia vows to shoot down any and all missiles fired at Syria. Get ready Russia, because they will be coming, nice and new and “smart!” You shouldn’t be partners with a Gas Killing Animal who kills his people and enjoys it!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) April 11, 2018
How is this different from past administrations, which also bombed and did military actions against other countries for supposed anti-Russia sympathies, be it Clinton against Kosovo, Bush against Iraq, Obama against Libya and now Trump against Syria? All of this shows a continuation of policy.
Trump said that these bombings of Syria will continue on until Assad “stops” its use of chemical weapons: “We are prepared to sustain this response until the Syrian regime stops its use of prohibited chemical agents”. In a press conference, Defense Secretary James Mattis said: “We were not out to expand this; we were very precise and proportionate. But at the same time, it was a heavy strike.” Amazingly, this is the same type of stuff that was said last year when the Trump administration hit Syria with tomahawk missiles: that the US was not going to continue using bombs, that the attack was simply a short term response. They keep saying the same thing, and repeating the same actions.
The US Ambassador to the UN, Nikki Haley, spoke to president Trump who told her that the US is “locked and loaded” for another attack on Syria:
“I spoke to the US president this morning and he said that if the Syrian regime uses this poisonous gas again, the United States is locked and loaded. When our president draws a red line, our president enforces the red line.”
There is a recurring theme here: the US claims that Syria has “chemical weapons,” accuses Syria of using said weapons, bombs Syria, then says the bombing does not represent a long term policy, as though they are trying to make the American people believe that we are not under another Bush.
The attack that the US carried out just recently on Syria was twice the size of the 2017 Shayrat missile strike, in which the US launched 49 tomahawk missiles into Syria. Russia has condemned the attack as an “aggression” against Syria.
According to the New York Times, the US “hit three of Mr. Assad’s chemical weapons facilities: a scientific research center in greater Damascus that was used in the production of weapons, and two chemical weapons facilities west of Homs, one of which was used for the production of the nerve agent sarin and the other was part of a military command post, said Gen. Joseph F. Dunford Jr., the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.”
Democrat Senator of Virginia, Tim Kaine, called the bombing of Syria “illegal”:
“President Trump’s decision to launch airstrikes against the Syrian government without Congress’s approval is illegal and — absent a broader strategy — it’s reckless”
The pointing to “chemical weapons” or “weapons of mass destruction” has become a pattern, seen before the US does some sort of military intervention or attack on another country. The Americans, and the rest of their NATO acolytes, have been playing this game for years. We saw this with the Bush administration against Saddam Hussein. There were no “weapons of mass destruction” in Iraq. The top CIA weapons inspector admitted this:
“In his final word, the CIA’s top weapons inspector in Iraq said Monday that the hunt for weapons of mass destruction has “gone as far as feasible” and has found nothing, closing an investigation into the purported programs of Saddam Hussein that were used to justify the 2003 invasion.
“After more than 18 months, the WMD investigation and debriefing of the WMD-related detainees has been exhausted,” wrote Charles Duelfer, head of the Iraq Survey Group, in an addendum to the final report he issued last fall.
“As matters now stand, the WMD investigation has gone as far as feasible.”
We saw this with the Obama administration in 2013, when the US accused the Assad regime of using chemical weapons on civilians, when it was Islamist rebels who used the chemical weapons on civilians, as shoebat.com reported when this was going on. As the New York Times reported back in 2013:
“Testimony from victims strongly suggests it was the rebels, not the Syrian government, that used Sarin nerve gas during a recent incident in the revolution-wracked nation, a senior U.N. diplomat said Monday.”
There is also footage in which rebels launch an attack and can be overheard discussing the use of sarin gas (the very chemical that they are accusing Assad of unleashing):
Last year, the US accused the Assad regime of launching a chemical weapons attack on Khan Shaykhun. The UN affirmed that the Syrian air force dropped sarin bombs on civilians. But, a Syrian Army source informed Al-Masdar News that the Syrian air force targeted a chemical weapons factory in Khan Shaykhun using Russian-manufactured Su-22 fighter jets to carry out the bombing. The source also said that the Su-22’s bombs cannot be filled with sarin gas. Syria’s Foreign Minister Walid Muallem said that the Syrian military “did not and will not” use chemical weapons, even against terrorists.
“I stress to you once again: the Syrian army has not, did not and will not use this kind of weapons – not just against our own people, but even against the terrorists that attack our civilians with their mortar rounds … The first air raid conducted by the Syrian army was at 11:30 am (0830 GMT) on that day (Tuesday) and it attacked an arms depot belonging to Al-Nusra Front that contained chemical weapons … Al-Nusra Front and ISIS and other organisations continue to store chemical weapons in urban and residential areas,” he said.
We see here a consistent pattern of propaganda for the use of justifying military action. With such a record of lying to back up American war mongering and profiteering, why would it be far fetched to say that what the US is doing now in Syria is based on just another lie? We are not emphatically denying that there has been chemical attacks. What we are questioning is who did these attacks. Why would Assad do a chemical attack in the midst of endless accusation that Syria is going to use chemical weapons? It is hard to believe that Assad just woke up in the morning and said, “You know, I really want to kill people with chemicals.”
Lets not forget how media outlets were deliberately trying to portray Assad as a monster back in 2011, the year the Syrian revolution began. Barbara Walters interviewed Assad when the Syrian revolution first began, accusing the Syrian president of being an evil dictator. After interviewing Assad, ABC News reduced the entire interview to just around five minutes for easy propaganda for the low attention span viewer:
What they cut out of the interview (amongst many other important things, such as that Assad was fighting terrorists) is when Assad described a years long effort to suffocate Syria, and warned that if they “isolate Syria” it will cause a downward spiral toward chaos:
Looking at all of the years of propaganda against Syria, it would not be surprising to find out that the allegations made against Assad, that he executed a chemical attack purposefully to murder civilians, is just another lie amongst all of the other pieces of Western propaganda to perpetuate war and violence in the Middle East. In fact, before NATO bombed Syria, the US defense secretary James Mattis was saying that there needed to be more time to investigate if the Assad regime was responsible for the chemical attack. This request for more time for investigation was ignored and Syria was bombed anyway. As we read from the Guardian:
“James Mattis, the US defense secretary, has said Washington is still looking for evidence on who carried out Saturday’s chemical weapons attack in Damascus and that his main concern about a military response was how to stop it “escalating out of control”.
Mattis himself said, regarding who was responsible behind the attack: “We will not know who did it. Only that it happened. That’s where we’re at right now”. But now Mattis is supposedly confident that it was the Assad regime who did the attack.
According to the New York Times, Mattis appealed for more time to gather evidence to prove the Assad regime was responsible for the attack. “But the administration appeared determined to deliver on the president’s threat to punish the use of poison gas.”
The Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov says that there is “irrefutable” evidence that shows that the chemical weapons attack was not done by Assad. As we read in a report from NBC:
Russia said Friday it had “irrefutable” evidence that the deadly Syria chemical weapons attack that has prompted the U.S. to consider airstrikes was fabricated.
Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov told a news conference that there was a “very alarming atmosphere” over the issue and likened plans for a military response to failed action in Libya.
“God forbid any other military gambles will be taken in Syria,” he said.
Lavrov cited “irrefutable data that [this] was yet another staged event and staging was done … by the special services of one of the countries at the forefront of the anti-Russia campaign.”
John Bolton is now the National Security Advisor, which is just another sign that nothing has really changed. Trump is not “draining the swamp” as so many sycophants have said, and still say. The war mongering agents of the military industrial complex are still in power, and they will remain in power regardless of who is president.
John Bolton is amongst the forces that pushed for the policies that facilitated the Syrian insurgency to remove Assad, and the toppling of Gaddafi in Libya which has led to utter chaos in that country. Back in 2002, before the Iraq War, Bolton called for US intervention in both Syria and Libya:
“States that renounce terror and abandon WMD can become part of our effort. But those that do not can expect to become our targets. …America is leading in the fight to root out and destroy terror. …We call on Libya, Cuba, and Syria to live up to the agreements they have signed. We will watch closely their actions, not simply listen to their words. Working with our allies, we will expose those countries that do not live up to their commitments.”
Bolton is amongst the agents of the military industry who pushed for the disastrous regime change in Iraq. In 1998, Bolton signed a declaration, alongside other operatives for the Project for the New American Century (PNAC), calling for the Clinton administration to remove Saddam through military force. The statement that Bolton signed asked president Clinton “to turn your Administration’s attention to implementing a strategy for removing Saddam’s regime from power. This will require a full complement of diplomatic, political and military efforts. Although we are fully aware of the dangers and difficulties in implementing this policy, we believe the dangers of failing to do so are far greater.”
PNAC is one of the faces of the American military industrial complex, the “government within a government,” to use the term of congressman Jack Brooks. What we are seeing now is a continuation of policy. The declaration above which Bolton signed, was also signed by William Kristol, the founder of PNAC.
This is PNAC we are talking about here, one of the entities that was instrumental behind the war in Iraq. That you have someone like Bolton who is in deep with PNAC and its agents, shows that what we are witnessing here is a continuation of policy.
The government of Israel is backing the bombing of Syria, with President Netanyahu saying:
“It should be clear to President Assad that his reckless efforts to acquire and use weapons of mass destruction, his wanton disregard for international law and his provision of a forward base for Iran and its proxies endanger Syria”
Netanyahu praised the bombing by saying “that the United States, France and the United Kingdom demonstrated that their commitment is not limited to proclamations of principle”. He also said that “Israel’s support remains unchanged,” regarding the NATO bombardment of Syria. Days before the bombing of Syria, Israel was pushing for the US military to attack Syria. Israel’s Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan told the Israeli Army Radio that the US should do a military attack on the Syrian government itself. And the Israeli construction minister and former IDF major general, Yoav Galant said that “[Bashar] Assad is the angel of death, and the world would be better without him”. Knesset member, Isaac Herzog, exhorted the US to take “decisive military action” against Syria.
Part of the US’ policy in Syria to overthrow Assad is to supposedly help Israel. This is revealed by a message from the Bush administration in January of 2001 that was revealed by Wikileaks. Its entitled, NEW IRAN AND SYRIA 2.DOC, and it reads:
“The best way to help Israel deal with Iran’s growing nuclear capability is to help the people of Syria overthrow the regime of Bashar Assad.”
This was written at the beginning of 2001, which means that the destabilization of Syria was being planned out before 9/11, and was in the minds of the military industrial complex before the launching of the Iraq War in 2003. What does this mean? It means that no matter who the president is, policy is continued.
Why is the government of Israel calling for the removal of a leader, when such removal would make Syria into another Iraq, or even worse than Iraq? Why would the government of Israel call for policy that would only advance jihadism? Why would the government of Israel support a regime change that would lead to horrific persecution worse than what the world witnessed in Iraq?
Why would Israel agree with Turkey’s Islamist Erdogan who also backed the bombing of Syria, saying: “With the joint operation by US, UK and France … the Syrian regime received the message that its massacres wouldn’t be left unanswered”?
The story of Syria should lead us to some retrospection. As we always maintained, the US will be a catalyst to catapult the system of Antichrist, and now Israel is also in on it. There is a history of this.
At the peak of the Ottoman Empire, when the Ottoman Muslims were trying to exterminate the Armenians, the valiant and brave Armenian Christians put up a resistance against the Islamic enemy, fighting for their Faith and their survival. The Sultan of the Ottoman Empire, Abdul Hamid II, went to a very famous Jewish activist named Theodor Herzl, and requested that he try to convince the Armenians to stop the resistance. Initially, Herzl at first offered money to pay for the Ottoman Empire’s huge debt, in exchange for land in Palestine. But this proposition was rejected by the Sultan. Herzl’s diplomatic agent Philip Michael Nevlinski (who was also an advisor to the Sultan), advised Herzl: “Instead of offering the Sultan money… give him political support on the Armenian issue, and he’ll be grateful and accept your proposal, in part at least.”
Herzl backed the Ottoman Empire in their cause in vanquishing the Armenians, and had meetings with Armenian resistance fighters to convince them to cease fighting, telling them that the Sultan promised them peace if they would comply. The Armenians were not convinced, knowing full well the intentions of a Cain. There were numerous Zionists who were completely against Herzl for this evil. When Herzl tried to recruit Max Nordau, a major figure in the Zionist movement, to join him in trying to convince the Armenians, Nordau sent him a simple reply in a one-word telegram: “No.” Bernard Lazare, a French Jewish leftist who supported a Jewish state, was so enraged over what Herzl was doing, that he cut off all ties with him. These Jewish men were righteous for going against Herzl, and the actions of Herzl show that the Jews are not exempt from criticism, and that they as well have committed evils against the Church.
Remember what Christ told such Jews: “You are from beneath; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world.” (John 8:23) And: “You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him.” (John 8:44)
