Major Christian leader in Syria, Syriac Orthodox Patriarch of Antioch and All East Mar Ignatius Aphrem II, has warned that the terrorists in Syria are tools for outside powers. As we read in a report from SANA:
Syriac Orthodox Patriarch of Antioch and All East Mar Ignatius Aphrem II strongly denounced crimes of the terrorist organizations in Syria as part of the conspiring scheme set against it.
Aphrem II pointed out in a statement to SANA at Syrian Consulate Headquarters in Cairo that the terrorist organizations wanted to undermine Syria in service to their operators abroad, adding that Syria has foiled the scheme that was targeting its social fabric.
He stressed the strong relations binding the Syrian and Egyptian peoples.
For his part, Head of the Syrian Consulate Mission in Cairo Riyad Sneih affirmed the need for disclosing the criminal terrorist ideology that attempted to destroy Syria, which is a hub of human civilizations.
What he means by “conspiring scheme” is a conspiracy by NATO to destabilize the Middle East in order to give an incentive to help Turkey rise.
