Indian Government Admits That They Knew The Terrorist Attack In which 40 Indians Were Slaughtered And Which Sparked Conflict Between India And Pakistan Was Going To Happen

By Theodore Shoebat

The Indian government recently admitted that the terrorist attack in which 40 Indians were slaughtered and which helped spark the conflict between India and Pakistan, was due to an “intelligence failure.” As we read in a report from India Today:

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Friday said the terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir on a CRPF convoy at Pulwama which claimed 40 lives was due to “intelligence failure”

Also, intelligence warned about a “Syria-style” terrorist attack hitting India, yet nothing was done to stop it, as we read in another report from India Today:

Recent intelligence inputs about the possibility of a suicide bomber travelling in a car had alarmed security forces, prompting high-level meetings to combat the threat. However, no viable solutions to stop him could be found, security officials told India Today.

Based on certain inputs, ways to combat car bombs were discussed within the forces including the CRPF, said a source.

The Jaish-e-Mohammed attack on Thursday, targeting a CRPF convoy using a car laden with explosives, which killed 42 CRPF jawans in Jammu & Kashmir’s Pulwama district resembles the modus operandi of terror attacks in Syria and Afghanistan.

Sources said cars were being checked, but that clearly was not enough to stop a car bomber.

One solution that was discussed was to run military convoys late in the night since traffic is less and manageable at that time.

Less traffic would have made it easier to check vehicles or halt them till a convoy passed.

This is far more difficult during the day as the number of civilian vehicles is too big to be managed.

At night, Road Opening Parties can use portable lights to light up the area on the side of roads to spot intruders.

This is a rarest of rare attack. In recent times, such attacks had not taken place, said an officer.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee hit with hard questions about why the government did not do the proper procedures to prevent the terrorist attack:

Calling the Pulwama encounter the result of “intelligence failure”, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has sought details of what actually happened.

“We have the right to know what had actually happened. What was the national security adviser doing? Why did we not come to know anything before the attack? Why did so many jawans get killed? These are the questions of the people not only mine.”

On her return from Delhi, Banerjee also said, “I demand 72-hour mourning for the ultimate sacrifice of the soldiers. At least for national respect. Only one flag is not enough for it.”

This has a parallel with a pattern that has been seen too many times in Europe. For example, the Brussels bombing that occurred in 2016. Turkey deported one of the terrorists involved, Ibrahim el Bakraoui, to the Netherlands. The Dutch then released him and he went to Belgium, and the Belgians just let him right in, knowing that their borders were open. Erdogan said that Turkey had deported Ibrahim back to Europe after informing the Belgian embassy about his terrorist ties. Erdogan went on to say that his government warned Brussels about Ibrahim back in 2015. In 2016, after the terrorist attack that hit Ankara, Erdogan even predicted that there would be an attack in Brussels:

“There is no reason for the bomb, which exploded in Ankara, not to explode in Brussels, where an opportunity to show off in the heart of the city to supporters of the terror organization is presented, or in any city in Europe. Despite this clear reality, European countries are paying no attention, as if they are dancing in a minefield. You can never know when you are stepping on a mine”

The same thing can be said about the 2016 Berlin Christmas attack. Moroccan intelligence warned the German government about the attack three weeks before it happened. The Germans knew it was going to happen, yet it was not stopped. And then there is the fact that most of the terrorist attacks in France were done by terrorists that already being watched by the French government.

And then we have the case of 9/11 and the Twin Towers attack prior to it.

The United States government’s assistance to 9/11 hijackers makes one wonder. The support for the Mujahideen by the CIA was meant to crush the Soviets, just as Operation Gladio was meant to fight the Soviets by recruiting and using European Nazi paramilitary groups. Intelligence agencies within NATO worked with Nazi paramilitaries to coordinate terrorist attacks in Europe and blame them on the Soviet Union in order to spark nationalism. Within the Gladio operation, NATO worked with Guido Giannettini, an Italian secret service agent who himself was a nationalist (being a member of Young Italy). Giannettini was involved in the Bologna Massacre in 1969 in which dozens of people were slaughtered in a massive bombing attack (See Ganser, NATO’s Secret Armies, ch. 9, p. 120). Giannettini worked closely with NATO and in 1961 even gave a lecture in the United States at the Naval War College entitled, “Techniques and Possibilities of a Coup d’Etat in Europe.” As Italian researchers Calvi and Laurent write:

“In November 1961, at the invitation of General Delvalle, commander of the Annapolis Marine School, in the United States, to hold a seminar of three days ‘on the techniques and possibilities of a coup d’état in Europe’, involving representatives of the Pentagon and of the CIA.”

The United States wanted terrorism in Europe in order to spark nationalism and militarism. Forces within the US government have also wanted terrorism within the United States. This is evident in the reality of Operation Northwood, which was a plan to do terrorist attacks — hijackings and bombings — and then blame them on the Cuban government as a way to spark anti-Communism and nationalism. The plan stated:

“The desired resultant from the execution of this plan would be to place the United States in the apparent position of suffering defensible grievances from a rash and irresponsible government of Cuba and to develop an international image of a Cuban threat to peace in the Western Hemisphere.”

Operation Northwoods was signed by Chairman Lyman Lemnitzer and sent to the Secretary of Defense. But President Kennedy rejected the operation. By the CIA protecting 9/11 hijackers, it thus — knowingly or not — facilitated the attack on September 11th, 2001. Could it be that the 9/11 attack was the biggest Gladio operation ever? Since the United States has, for decades, been planning on the use of terrorism for political reasons, then it would not be surprising at all if this was indeed the case.

Governments want terrorism because it makes for propaganda by which to rile up the masses to back their military industrial complexes.
