Putin Announces A Partial Mobilization Of More Troops To Ukraine And Declares That There Will Be A Referendum To Include Russian Controlled Territories Into The Russian Federation

Putin just announced a partial mobilization of reservists into Ukraine and also stated that there will be a referendum to include the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics, as well as Russian controlled territory in Kherson and Zaporizhia into the Russian Federation. As we read in Kresy:

In his address to the nation, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that he had signed a decree on the partial mobilization of reservists. He also announced his support for referenda on the accession to Russia of the people’s republics in Donbas and parts of the Kherson and Zaporizhia oblasts. He stated that the West’s goal was to “weaken, divide and ultimately destroy” Russia and promised to protect its sovereignty and territorial integrity.

On Wednesday morning, Russia’s president, Vladimir Putin, delivered a pre-announced message from the people. It was devoted mainly to the war with Ukraine, described by Moscow as a “special military operation”. According to Putin, its aim is to liberate the Donbas “from the neo-Nazi regime that took power in Ukraine in 2014 as a result of an armed coup”.

The Russian president said he wanted to inform the Russians of “necessary, urgent steps” to be taken to protect Russia’s sovereignty, security and territorial integrity, and to support the will of its citizens to define their own future. He also talked about “the aggressive policy of some of the Western elites that want to maintain their domination with all their strength,” and that is why they are trying to “suppress all sovereign, independent development centers in order to further impose their will on other countries and nations and spread their pseudo-values.”

– The aim of this West is to weaken, divide and ultimately destroy our country. They are already saying directly that in 1991 they managed to divide the Soviet Union, and now the time has come for Russia itself to break up into many deadly hostile regions and oblasts , Putin said.
