Muslims in Kenya hijacked a bus today outside the town of Mandera, in which they took out twenty eight non-Muslims, which, really, means Christians. The terrorist group Al-Shabhab has taken full responsibility of the attack, and as Sheikh Ali Mohamud Rage, al Shabaab’s spokesman, said:

The Mujahideen successfully carried out an operation near Mandera early this morning, which resulted in the perishing of 28 crusaders, as a revenge for the crimes committed by the Kenyan crusaders against our Muslim brethren in Mombasa

Notice it mentions the enemy as “Kenyan crusaders,” indicating that the enemy to the Muslims is the Christians, and they see Kenyan forces who fight these terrorists as Christian crusaders.

It is now being reported that the killers have fled to Somalia. Police Inspector General David Kimaiyo said

Preliminary reports indicate that the attackers, who were heavily armed, later fled toward the border into Somali

Ahmed Maalim, an official at the Mandera East sub-county security force, said:

The women and men (remaining outside) were separated, then shot at close range. None survived

Col. David Obonyo, said that the search “will continue until they arrest the attackers”.

According to one report:

Al Shabaab fighters spared Muslims travelling on the Kenyan bus before opening fire on their fellow passengers in a revenge attack following a series of strikes against the reviled terror group.

The heavily-armed insurgents ambushed the bus with its 60 travellers en route to the Kenyan capital Nairobi, first spraying it with assault rifle fire and then bringing it to a standstill with a rocket propelled gang.

Passengers were ordered off the bus at gunpoint and Muslims separated from the non-Muslims before the terrorists opened fire again, killing 19 men and nine women.

A security official said three people about to be shot saved their lives when they began reciting verses from the Koran.

The attacked happened near the town of Mandera, close to the border with Somalia.

Al Shabaab said the murders were in retaliation for raids by the Kenyan security forces on mosques in the port city of Mombasa last week, which led to 376 arrests.

I believe there is a connection between these murders and ISIS. ISIS is gaining massive popularity throughout the Muslim world, and its not far-fetched to say that Al-Shabhab is inspired by ISIS. Moreover, just this week Kenyan police raided a terrorist Muslim house connected with the murder of four people, in which they found the ISIS flag:
