Muslims Force Saeed Abedini To Watch Six Of His Fellow Prisoners Get Executed Right Before His Eyes, As If To Say, “You’re Next”

By Theodore Shoebat

Muslim officers, part of the Islamic Iranian government, forced Christian pastor Saeed Abedini, who was arrested for his Faith, to watch six of his fellow prisoners being hung to death, right before his eyes. It was as if they were saying, “You’re next.” Although let us hope that, God willing, this never happens.

According to Saeed’s wife, Naghmeh, Saeed was “shaken” as he watched the six men getting executed. She said:

Saeed was quite shaken as he had to witness 6 fellow prisoners being beaten and taken to be executed (hanged) that day…It was a hard and dark day having witnessed that and seeing life being taken. The prison visit was also very hard as the families of those who were executed were crying and wailing

Just to show you hangings in Iran, here is a very recent video showing these types of horrid executions:

Naghmeh was able to learn of these execution after the government allowed Saeed’s relatives to visit him. She continued on to say:

It was also an emotional visitation as it is getting closer to Jacob’s 7th birthday. Last time Saeed saw Jacob he was 4 years old… to have the strength to endure in that harsh prison and that Jesus would continue to meet him there and give him hope. …Please pray that this will be the year that Saeed is released

Pastor Saeed Abedini is in an environment where “summary executions, inmate violence and beatings are commonplace.” Saeed has also had to endure beatings in the prison, and because of these afflictions he has internal injuries.

Saeed has also sustained prolonged internal injuries due to beatings in the prison. In fact, after Saeed suffered a brutal attack in Rajai Shah prison, he was transported to the hospital but when he arrived “he was shackled to a hospital bed and was denied treatment for internal bleeding.”

In the year 2014 75 Christians were arrested in Iran. One Iranian Christian once said:

When you’re Christian in Iran, you can’t speak. You have to keep quiet and not talk about the truth that you know and that you believe in… There is no such thing as a comfortable life in Iran.

If Saeed is executed (and let us hope that this does not happen), it will not be the first time that this evil has occurred. In 1990, a Christian pastor in Iran named Hossein Soodmand was arrested, and after refusing to convert to Islam, was executed by hanging.

In 1993 a pastor named Dibaj was sentenced to death but later released. Youcef Nadarkhani, another pastor like Saeed, was sentenced to death by the Iranian government in 2009. But after a retrial, and much needed pressure from Western powers, and the Vatican, he was released. With enough pressure, God willing, Iran will release Saeed.

Christians are hated in Iran because many Iranian Muslims see them as linked to “Western powers” and “Zionists”. According to a UN report, 300 Christians have been arrested in Iran since 2001.

Let us pray and hope that pastor Saeed will be freed. Our organization, Rescue Christians, has liberated thousands of Christians from horrific persecutions in Pakistan. Please help us free more.
