Some of our readers might remember the name Christopher Hedges. He is a former New York Times reporter who smeared Walid as one of ‘three stooges’ and a ‘fraud’ back in 2008 in an attempt to discredit him. Thanks to some video that has surfaced of Hedges in Chicago recently, we can contrast his opinion of Walid with how the former NYT writer views someone like, say, Barack Obama’s former pastor Jeremiah Wright, who is demonstrably anti-Semitic, anti-American, and one who espouses marxist views with relative aplomb.
Aside from Hedges comparing whites to the Romans who crucified Jesus while opining that Jesus was a ‘person of color’, Hedges all but compares Wright to Jesus Himself.
Via The Blaze:
The moral of this story is that when you are insulted by someone who likens an anti-Semitic, anti-American, marxist to Jesus it speaks volumes about everyone involved. In this case, when someone like Walid is smeared by someone like Hedges, it actually bolsters the credibility of the former Muslim Brotherhood member and current peace activist.
Does it not?
Besides, wasn’t Judas Iscariot a socialist?
