Boehner attacks Republican like he should attack Obama

Folks, just in case you’re unaware, there is something very, very wrong with Speaker of the House John Boehner (R-OH). Not only has he been reticent to fight Obama but instead of rallying his Republican caucus to demand the administration be held accountable for any one of the countless scandals its mired in, Boehner has been focused on immigration, which is the administration’s agenda.

Boehner: Running interference for Obama.

Boehner: Running interference for Obama at every turn.

It doesn’t end there. Today, Boehner attacked a fellow Congressional Republican, Rep. Steve King (R-IA), who is supported strongly by the conservative Republican base. The comments that Boehner found so offensive had to do with young Mexicans brought into America. Said King:

“For everyone who’s a valedictorian, there’s another 100 out there that weigh 130 pounds and they’ve got calves the size of cantaloupes because they’re hauling 75 pounds of marijuana across the desert.”

Incidentally, King was one of the early co-sponsors of Frank Wolf’s HR-36, which calls for a Select Committee to investigate what happened in Benghazi. As of July 23rd, the number of co-sponsors stands at 162, which mean only 72 have not signed on, including Boehner. What has become increasingly obvious is that Boehner is doing more to help the Obama agenda than he is the agenda of his own Party.

As you watch him attack King in this video, ask yourself if you remember him speaking like this about any member of the Obama administration.

Here is the interview that set Boehner off:

This is not the first time Boehner has been on the wrong side of an issue and King has been on the right side. Consider last summer, when none other than Huma Abedin was in the news because Rep. Michele Bachmann questioned her familial connections to the Muslim Brotherhood.

Boehner defended Huma and King defended Bachmann:
