All the proof one needs in order to determine that an HBO film on Islamophobia is pure propaganda is the fact that the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) is encouraging people to watch it. That, and the film appears to exploit a young Muslim boy who is adversely affected by Islamophobia.

The Michigan chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-MI) today encouraged community members to watch an upcoming premiere of an HBO documentary on Islamophobia, which was filmed in Detroit and features representatives of the Washington, D.C., based Muslim civil rights organization.

“The Education of Mohammad Hussein,” which airs Monday, January 6 at 9 p.m. (ET), is a documentary tracking the impact Islamophobia has on both a Detroit student who attends an Islamic school and on his peers and the broader Detroit Muslim community. It also highlights the interfaith community’s response to Pastor Terry Jones coming to Dearborn to burn the Quran.

Loki Films, which also produced the awarded winning film DETROPIA, worked in coordination with Al-Ikhlas Training Academy and CAIR-MI on the documentary.

Featured prominently in the propaganda is CAIR-Michigan’s Executive Director Dawud Walid, who is certainly not without controversy himself.

At the essence of the pseudo-cries of Islamophobia from Muslims is that Muslims are unjustly discriminated against. The irony of these claims is that no one is more discriminatory or racist than Muslim fundamentalists. As a leader of CAIR, Dawud represents the Muslim Brotherhood, which has time and time again made its hatred for the Jews known. Dawud himself referred to “Jews” as “those who incurred the wrath of Allah” and thinks that Hamas – which calls for the destruction of Israel in its own charter – should be included in peace talks with Israel.

Leftists and homosexuals who had a problem with A&E continuing to air Duck Dynasty after Phil Robertson’s GQ interview should be far more outraged at HBO for airing Muslim Brotherhood propaganda. Yusuf Al-Qaradawi, the Brotherhood’s spiritual leader equates homosexuality to sexual perversion and has stated that the punishment for such behavior is lashing; Phil Robertson didn’t advocate such a thing.

Muslim Brotherhood Executive Bureau member Mahmoud Ghozlan revealed in an interview that he believed homosexuality should be “outlawed”. These are Middle Eastern figures. Individuals like Dawud Walid represent Muslim Brotherhood groups in America and any lip service he or others may pay to homosexual rights are just that – lip service.
