Muslims in Syria beheaded a Christian man and fed his body to dogs, according to a nun who says the West is ignoring atrocities committed by Islamic extremist.
This west is flat out wrong by siding with people they know are barbaric and whom they fight in other places.
The nun said taxi driver Andrei Arbashe, 38, was kidnapped after his brother was heard complaining that fighters against the ruling regime behaved like bandits.
She said his headless corpse was found by the side of the road, surrounded by hungry dogs. He had recently married and was soon to be a father.
This story is just one of many stories of the barbarities Christians are having to suffer, and these are just the ones that are being reported. Imagine the stories that have gone unreported. Hard-line Islamist rebels with links to al Qaeda have come to dominate the largely Sunni Muslim insurgency against Assad, who is supported by members of his minority Alawite sect – an offshoot of Shi’ite Islam – as well as Shi’ite fighters from Iraq and Lebanon’s Hezbollah.
Both sides in Syria’s nearly three-year conflict have been implicated in torture, killings and other war crimes.
Critics of the Syrian regime have said the problem with what is happening in Syria is that Assad is certainly a dictator but any attack on his regime could lead to the installation of a new government headed up by radical Islamists which would be far worse than the current regime. The uprising has been hijacked by Islamist mercenaries, who are more interested in fighting a holy war than in changing the government.
I saw a scene of utter cruelty: a human being treated in a way that no human being should ever be treated. But it seems to me that in the last three years, the war has degraded people’s humanity. In this video two demons making fun of their beheaded captive. It was impossible to recognize what is happening. That scene in Syria, that moment, was like a scene from the Middle Ages, the kind of thing you read about in history books. The war in Syria has reached the point where a person can be mercilessly killed in front of hundreds of people who enjoy the spectacle.
What kind of revolt where the rebels are killing people and eating their hearts, what kind of brutality is there? Take a look at this video and see how the west is supporting the hearts’ eaters in Syria.
A video report shows the actions of the kinds of people who Senators like McCain and Graham are sending American taxpayer money to support. A Syrian rebel soldier cuts out the heart and liver of a soldier and appears to eat the heart chanting”I swear to God we will eat your hearts out, you soldiers of Bashar. You dogs. God is greater!” the man says. “Heroes of Baba Amr … we will take out their hearts to eat them.”
This isn’t Assad’s soldiers doing this, these are the US and European backed rebels. Eating the hearts out of soldiers, beheading Christians, etc. and shooting children in front of their parents because they were found guilty of blaspheming.
We cannot just stand by the sidelines and watch these Christians die helplessly. It is our duty, our obligation, to help rescue them. We must not be like the useless priest who simply walked past the dying man lying on the road, but like the Good Samaritan, who took the man and medicated him, brought him to an inn, and rescued him.
