**SHOEBAT EXCLUSIVE**
President Ronald Reagan’s former National Security Advisor Robert McFarlane recently honored Ground Zero mosque imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, tainting his former boss’s legacy in so doing. Making matters worse is that Abubaker Y. Ahmed Al Shingieti, the Vice President of the organization that hosted the event was for years a high ranking henchman in Sudan’s terrorist regime and is today a stealth jihadist who leads a Muslim Brotherhood front group.
Last year, it was reported that McFarlane may have illegally represented the government of Sudan and that the FBI seized documents in a raid of his apartment. One of the things McFarlane was allegedly fighting for was to have Sudan removed from the State Sponsors of Terrorism list.
Several weeks ago, Shoebat.com reported on the outrageous decision by Rep. Mike Rogers, Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, to deliver the keynote speech at the event honoring Rauf. The event, sponsored by the International Center for Religion and Diplomacy (ICRD) also listed McFarlane as a special guest.
At the eleventh hour, Rogers made the right choice and backed out. McFarlane did not. He can be seen applauding after Rauf’s speech in this screen shot:
The issue of who ICRD invites to its events is not the only thing that is disconcerting. As Shoebat.com has reported in the past, a former henchmen for the butcher of Sudan, Omar al-Bashir serves as a Vice President at ICRD. His name is Abubaker Y. Al Shingieti.
Shingieti served al-Bashir in various capacities from 1990-1998. In 1993, Sudan was placed on the U.S. State Department list of State Sponsors of Terrorism, a list on which it still sits. One of the things McFarlane has reportedly been helping Sudan do is get off the list. As Shoebat.com has reported, this has been a clear objective of the Obama administration.
Despite the designation, Shingieti continued to move up through the ranks of al-Bashir’s regime. One of those positions was Secretary General of the External Information Council.
Shingieti has also served as the Executive Director for the International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT), a Muslim Brotherhood front group, and sits on the Board of Trustees of the Hartford Seminary, as Shoebat.com reported. The Vice President of the IIIT is one of the Muslim Brotherhood’s founding fathers in the U.S. – Jamal Barzinji.
In the video of the event Rogers wisely backed out of, ICRD President Doug Johnston says a few words before introducing Rauf. At the very beginning of his speech, Johnston alludes to the controversy surrounding the event, though he doesn’t mention Rogers by name. What is somewhat fascinating is the denial and rationale that Johnston uses to be consorting with stealth Jihadists like Rauf.
That Johnston would have Shingieti as a Vice President makes the former look even more foolish. Shingieti was part of a terrorist regime for just under a decade and has had several years to implement operation chameleon. Yet, despite these glaring realities, Johnston just keeps living the lie. At one point, he actually insists that his organization is in no way an agent of the Muslim Brotherhood.
Whatever, Dougie. Whatever.
It is developments like this one with McFarlane that lend credence to findings that Republicans have been in bed with stealth Muslim Brotherhood agents for so long, they can’t come clean.
Here is the video of Johnston introducing Rauf, followed by Rauf’s speech:
