Several Middle Eastern sources and newspapers from Iraq to Turkey are announcing that Caliph BagDadi has been bagged even including a photo claiming to be Al-Baghdadi’s body:
But Pentagon Denies It Killed ISIS Chief As Airstrikes Hit Top Extremists.
Should we trust the Pentagon, especially since an airstrike in the ISIS stronghold of Mosul killed at least two members of the group, including an aide to ISIS leader Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi, according to the Iraqi Defense Ministry?
And then there were also reports that Baghdadi himself had been killed by a U.S. airstrike which circulated in Turkish and Kurdish media Wednesday and were repeated to The Daily Beast by multiple Iraqi sources.
But a Pentagon official still denied that the ISIS leader was dead.
Are all the media reporting false news or is the Pentagon up to some sort of a conspiracy?
Some might argue that this was not the first time that rumors of Baghdadi’s death have surfaced. Without an independent press to verify new information, unverified claims can be spread quickly through Iraq as speculation outpacing facts and gets taken for the truth.
Which one to trust? Our government or the news?
Well, I trust the Pentagon on this; indeed, there is no clear evidence that proves beyond doubt that Al-BagDadi has been bagged. And before people fall into such hype, below are photos that proves that this claim is easily faked:
The shirt on the left cockroach is the same shirt as the one on the right, hand and fingers included.
Indeed, everyone gets stung by hype (we did) every once in a while, but the wise learns from his mistakes.
But here is a more important question to ask; what if BagDadi was finally bagged by the Pentagon? Should we trust the Pentagon that the war on terror is over?
To emulate an advise by Jesus, we would advise; trust the Pentagon most of the time when they report on facts, but trust it not most of the time when they talk politics.
Everyone cheered when Osama bin Laden was killed. I trust the Pentagon when they said he was killed, but what difference did that make? The Pentagon’s politics proved that certain evolutions are true, like Al-Qaeda evolving into ISIS.
To fumigate an infestation one must make sure that all the vermin is dealt with, sort of like this:
