We’re told by Muslim leaders and apologists that ISIS is not Islamic and that if you think it is, you must be Islamophobic. There are an endless number of problems with that premise but the latest one comes courtesy of an Islamophobic ‘expert’ from Sweden who has joined ISIS in Syria.

Michael Skråmo (aka Abdul Samad al Swedi) is Swedish and converted to Islam in 2005. Within four years, he had become an expert on combating Islamophobia, appearing on Swedish television to tell viewers how hatred of Muslims was spreading around Europe because of anti-Muslim bigotry. In theory, according to Islamophobic ‘experts’, someone like Skråmo should view ISIS as anti-Islamic, a perversion of true Islam, as something that is detrimental to the cause and should be rejected.

Instead, he decided to pick up his family and move to Syria, to join ISIS. In an internet video, Skråmo exhorted viewers to join him and ISIS, explaining just how easy it is to do so (translation):

“My brothers, ‘hijra’ (migration) and ‘jihad’ are so simple. It only costs a few thousand ‘lapp’ [Swedish kronor],” he says in Swedish. “Do you not wish in in your heart to fight and show God what you have to offer him? The door to jihad is standing there waiting for you. It’s the fastest way to Jannah [Paradise].”

Al Swedi has also set up a twitter account and sends out tweets from Syria.

Here we have a major conundrum for the whole ‘ISIL is not Islamic’ crowd. Stealth jihadists and Muslim apologists would have all non-Muslims believe that there is a bold line of distinction between Islam and ISIS. Yet, al Swedi provides us with a living, breathing bridge in the form of a true Muslim who was educating the west about Islamophobia and then joined ISIS.
