The Syrian military just killed the top leader for the al-Nusra jihadist group, which works with ISIS and the FSA (Free Syrian Army), and is a major persecutor of Christians.

The top leader was General Military Commander Abu Humam al-Shami, who has carried out jihadist operations in in Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria. He was also, according to Al-Nusra, “the most senior member of the group to die in the Syria war”,

Al-Nusra also reported that three other leaders were slain by Syria. On Twitter al-Nusra lamented the death of their leader:

The Islamic Nation is bleeding because of the news of the martyrdom of Commander Abu Humam… It’s a major blow to Nusra. A very painful, very powerful hit

I hope Syria kills more of these demonic deviants.
