We all heard it that the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Thursday threatened to send the millions of refugees who are residing in Turkey to European Union (EU) member states, as NATO agreed to deploy ships to the Aegean Sea to ease the migrant crisis.
Did you hear that? “Millions”. And one day soon you will hear this same dragon send two hundred million all the way to Jerusalem.
This red dragon threatens to spew out a flood. So when will Christians believe that this man represents the Red Dragon spoken of by John the prophet?
This will continue and will fulfill Revelation 11-12, the “Red Dragon” who spews out his flood. This will increase dramatically the flight of Muslim refugees into Europe. The European Union member states are at loggerheads over the refugees and migrants from other countries.
And the west isn’t going to stand idle to see their nations liquidate and become filled with the Muslim problem. NATO agreed to send a naval group “without delay” to the Aegean to crack down on the people smugglers who have helped hundreds of thousands of migrants cross to EU territory in the last year.
It is time we pay a quick visit to Revelation 11-13, to remind and sum up the history of the suffering church (the woman) which John told us to pay attention to.
In Iraq and Syria, the church struggles many of whom fled on the wings of eagles to West. We see the flood coming after her to pursue her even where she hides. But what we will also see is that the earth will swallow this flood:
When the dragon saw that it had been thrown down to the earth, it pursued the woman who had given birth to the boy. However, the woman was given the two wings of a large eagle so that she could fly away from the serpent to her place in the wilderness, where she could be taken care of for a time, times, and half a time. From its mouth the serpent spewed water like a river behind the woman in order to sweep her away with the flood. But the earth helped the woman by opening its mouth and swallowing the river that the dragon had spewed from its mouth. The dragon became angry with the woman and went away to do battle against the rest of her children, the ones who keep God’s commandments and hold on to the testimony about Jesus. Then the dragon stood on the sand of the seashore.
The dragon goes after the “rest of her children, the ones who keep God’s commandments …” Some are protected while the others are either consumed or tested like gold through fire. These “keep the commandments” are not your easy believism types.
There are so many facets, senses and angels to observe this most amazing prophecy. The persecution will continue when this dragon will go after the remnants of the woman, the Christians who are within his reach in the next coming years. One must look and examine the text from two senses.
From one sense, it is a sequence of events throughout the history of the church. This flood after the true followers, which none can deny, did not commence in Geneva, but the Conquest of apostolic-succession churches in Christian Syria by Islam.
and let us look throughout the ages and see how it even comprises church history. It was ignited in 634 AD by this same dragon, to continue into Christian Egypt in 639 AD, then in 637 this same dragon spewed out Muslim armies to invade Christian Jerusalem to continue further between 693-862 to the conquest of Christian Armenia, then in 711 conquered Spain, than in 1453 the same dragon conquered Christian Constantinople which was flooded by the mouth of the same dragon. The dragon’s “flood” continued all the way to the Armenian Genocide in 1915 AD.
Examine this span and contemplate it. It was in the West where the woman flourished and was protected. It was the Christian West that finally gave a crushing blow to the serpent’s head giving the Ottomans the deadly wound. It was the West that finally put an end of this flood in 1918, to have the earth swallow it if you will.
Three years and a half constitute over twelve centuries (1260 years) of this hell the woman had to endure until it ended and the Church was at a temporary peace. And this will repeat with literal 1260 days at the end when the dragon knows that his time is very short.
This dragon was after the sons of God and the sons of Mary who honor and love the woman, the mother of God The Son.
Notice, this flood started in Syria in 634 AD, and now we see it start all over again, in Syria, where the eye of the storm begins.
And now we await this next beast, this same dragon revived, which is like a leopard (Asia Minor/Greece). Its feet were like bear’s feet (Persia/Iran), and its mouth was like a lion’s mouth (Babylon, Arabia’s Islam). The dragon gave it his power, his throne, and complete authority. Its mouth just began spewing again its heresies and floods of armies to molest the woman.
Are we to sleep behind the wheel when Daniel tells us: “I observed the vision during the night. Look! The four winds of the skies were stirring up the Mediterranean Sea“?
If the first beast (Babylon), second beast (Medo-Persia) and third beast (Greece) all were out within the “Great Sea” (Mediterranean) then the fourth beast of Daniel 7 could only pertain to the Mediterranean Sea as well.
And while Turkey is the 17th largest economy in the world, we are to also pay attention to Poland, the 21st largest economy in the world and the 8th largest economy in Europe which fears Turkey and Germany and does not trust them. It too would split from the European Union to confront someday soon this Red Dragon.
If someone thinks this is some small issue, think again, what we see here is the spark of persecutions to come, a massive migrant crisis not seen in Europe since World War II. Add this to the crippling sovereign debt and a call for a referendum by Britain and you will have one of the bloc’s richest and most powerful members depart and exit the union. And then to add in the Visegrad group of countries of Hungary, Poland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic which are the strongest critics of EU Muslim migrants, this will leave the faltering union to become dominated by Germany while the rest consider the union irrelevant. It is Germany, the nation that welcomed this crisis in the first place, and its cooperation with Turkey that caused the whole mess. Nothing like this happens by accident.
Today we see Chancellor Merkel going against Orthodox Russia, expressing that she is ‘appalled and horrified’ by the suffering caused by Russian airstrikes in Syria against the Muslim flood. God ordained it that this schism, caused by Luther, is to begin from where Luther started.
We see this devil, Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu, saying that Germany and Turkey would carry out ‘joint efforts’ for greater NATO involvement in the crisis. Why is it that Germany and Turkey have emerged as crucial players in the biggest migration crisis to rock Europe since World War II?
Here we have Turkey, the largest Islamic economy in the world and by far the most powerful and effective military in Europe and the Mediterranean. It is from here we have the Red Dragon spewing out his flood. Here we have Germany which sprouted Nazism, and where Luther ordained it as holy to write and compose The Jews and Their Lies. Here we have Germany kowtowing to Turkey’s demands. Here we have the crescent and what was previously the swastika causing all this evil against the woman. Here we have the two states that murdered more of God’s people than any other entity in history.
The German–Turkish Non-Aggression Pact (German: Türkisch-Deutscher Freundschaftsvertrag) (Turkish: Türk-Alman Dostluk Paktı) was signed between Nazi Germany and Turkey on June 18, 1941 in Ankara by German ambassador to Turkey Franz von Papen and Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs Şükrü Saracoğlu. The pact, which was intended to be in force for a period of ten years, lasted only until 24 October 1945, when Turkey joined the United Nations.
And prior to that, we had World War I with an Ottoman–German alliance. Are we to ignore that such history will not repeat itself? No one can predict this for certain, but it is not only the Middle East that is in crisis, but now China and Europe and now NATO will be in crisis on what to do about Turkey. All this unpredictability puts Russia in this mess, being squeezed between building its military power and the low price of oil. While Turkey has always been contained by western superpowers, now Turkey is dictating its power, while at the same time it taunts Orthodox Russia. All this will ignite the region into greater conflicts where Turkey will expand it supremacy into Iraq and Syria. And with ISIS, the United States also has to kowtow to Turkey and aid it to supposedly stabilize Syria and to stop Russia’s influx into Syria.
