NEW DISCOVERY: The Antichrist Nation of Turkey Is Now Reviving The Mark Of The Beast

By Walid Shoebat (Shoebat Exclusive)

When it comes to the Book of Revelation John predicted that an Antichrist will arise who resurrects an image (emblem) of a wounded empire and last week Erdogan of Turkey did just this when he just proposed that within three months he intends to re-create and resurrect the dead Ottoman emblem for the Republic of Turkey: “He ordered them to set up an image in honor of the beast who was wounded by the sword and yet lived.” (Revelation 13:14) While we wait for the results in the three coming months, a review of the historic Ottoman emblem is truly a puzzle that resembled what John said in Revelation regarding the colors of the “breastplates” with the colors of “fiery red, hyacinth blue, and sulfur yellow” (Revelation 9:17).

If you are unconvinced or not familiar with the issue as to how all this works, read “HOW THE WEST FAILED TO UNLOCK  THE IMAGE OF THE BEAST” explained in more detail below.

Osmanli Devleti Nisani Yeni - The House of Osman - Peter Crawford

It is such a project that according to the bill, a 12-member parliamentary commission will be founded to decide on the emblem and the commission will function for three months. The first two months will be used for preliminary work while the last month will be used to finalize the emblem’s design by an expert working group, Anadolu Agency reported.

The emblem is truly a puzzle which tells the Ottoman story including reason, intent, geographic hegemony and theological goals which after inquiring from Arabic sources gives more insight as to what John, Daniel and Ezekiel have predicted in the Bible.

Firstly, the circle surrounded by the crescent is called the Tughra, the Royal insignia of the Sultan of the Ottoman Empire which usually has the name of the Sultan or the Bismillah “In the Name of Allah” from the Arabic as we stated in our book God’s War on Terror.

The Tughra is in the circle surrounded by the crescent moon

The Tughra which is at times the Name of The Sultan Or The Bismiallah (In the Name of Allah) . The extended two circular artistic parts represent the Black Sea and the Mediterranean Sea.

The term in the crescent moon is Arabic “Approved by the divinly appointed king of the Ottoman Empire” which demonstrates the protection of the Ottoman Empire for all the Muslims around the world.

The Crescent surround the “Tuğra“, the signature and insignia of an Ottoman sultan, ruler and custodian of the Muslim world which includes a ruler’s name and his title which was used extensively during the Ottoman era.

“Tuğra functioned as a signature of the sultan, a symbol of dynasty and a state emblem at the same time,” says Mustafa ÖztÜrk, writing in his work “Ottomans’ Coat of Arms”, adding that the Tughra lost its function as state emblem in the final century of imperial rule.

To examine all this takes a keen eye that is able to put a puzzle together. The extended two circular egg-shaped artistic parts in the Tughra above represent the Black Sea and the Mediterranean Sea, the two are to be ruled and protected by the Ottomans.

According to the Tughra Analysis and Form the emblem represents a ship (see anchor in image) with the flags representing the sails and the spear and shields hung upon them. they explain that “The three vertical letter “alef” (III) with what appears three looking squiglies represent ship masts with the sails going westward to invade and conquer the west.” The two books “represent the Quran” and the other “represents the law” which is extracted from the Quran (Sharia) and the scales on top of the Quran represent the justice of Islam.

“The three vertical letter “alef” (III) with what appears three looking squiggles SSS represent ship masts with the sails going westward to invade and conquer the west.”

The shield between the flags represent 12 stars of the different areas of control under the Ottomans and the glow of the bright sun represents the Sultan ruler with the turban which can be seen over the shield. At times one of the flags is green representing the Muslim Caliphate which Green is its color.

All this could easily depict what Ezekiel in chapter 27 which many foresaw in its description the Antichrist’s kingdom and is why the chapter seems to parallel The Book of Revelation’s Harlot depicting the same merchandise Tyre traded in which also resembles Arabia’s Islam depicted  by Ezekiel as a ship sailing to spread its sorcery through warfare with its followers “Persia [Iran] Lydia [Turkey] and Put [Libya] served as it’s soldiers and warriors in your army. They hung their shields and helmets on your walls, bringing you splendor” (Ezekiel 27:10) “Your oarsmen take you out to the high seas. But the east wind will break you to pieces far out at sea. Your wealth, merchandise and wares, your mariners, sailors and shipwrights, your merchants and all your soldiers, and everyone else on board will sink into the heart of the sea on the day of your shipwreck.” (Ezekiel 27:26-27)

In the bill introduced to the Parliament Speaker’s Office, a group of AKP deputies stated that after a state’s flag, an official state emblem, which has been banned since 1924 must be ressurected and  is one of the most important symbols for every country, adding to its reputation, the state-run Anadolu Agency reported late on Dec. 9 last week.

“The emblem used by the Ottoman Empire was abolished along with abolition of the Ottoman Sultanate and the subsequent declaration of the Turkish Republic in 1923″ the deputies stated. Efforts were made to design a “Turkey Emblem” in 1927, but did not yield any official results, and no explanation for this was made at the time,” they added.

The Turkish Crescent seen engulfing the Mediterranean. Notice in Daniel the beast rises from the Great Sea (the Mediterranean). Notice the Ottoman emblem revived with the crescent centered on the Mediterranean sea.

The colors stem from the Turkish favorite colors in which the Ottomans prided themselves with the “fiery red, hyacinth blue, and sulfur yellow” (Revelation 9:17) which are also the colors of the flags the neo-Ottomans like to carry.

Scene from the movie “Fetih 1453″ or “Conquest 1453″, a Turkish blockbuster about the Ottoman Empire’s destruction of the Eastern Roman Empire. “Fiery red, hyacinth blue, and sulfur yellow” (Revelation 9:17) were the colors of the Ottomans.

Students of the Bible should pay very close attention. “We told you so” will perhaps be our motto for years to come reminding of what we etched years ago. On page 381 in God’s War on Terror we accurately predicted that Turkey will recreate it’s banned Ottoman emblem:

“The Mark of the Beast might be an emblem or symbol of the Beast Empire that carries with it a blasphemous creedal element [the Bismillah]. An official image or emblem of a kingdom gives it a sense of national identity: “He ordered them to set up an image in honor of the beast who was wounded by the sword and yet lived.” (Revelation 13:14) This “image” of the Beast (empire) would constitute the replicating of the old monster—the ruthless Islamic Empire that fell. This is the primary meaning of the verse. However, it is not the only explanation of every verse containing the word “image” (more on that later)

It was in 2013 and then Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan raises eyebrows when he stoops to pick up a Turkish flag left on the floor as a marker during a G20 leaders’ photo shoot in St. Petersburg.

A year before that, Erdoğan was the only national leader to rescue his flag from the floor during another G20 meeting in Los Cabos, Mexico.

After the foundation of modern Turkey, that old emblem was abolished and will be recreated. “Designing an emblem is a scientific job. Every symbol within the emblem means something. So we need a contest for a state emblem,” Can said adding that it will be included in the identification cards and passports.

At a time of debate about the character of the Turkish state and whether it should face East or West, it will be heavy burden to come up with an emblem that can embody the Turkish people’s history and aspirations.

Dogu Ergil writing of the persecuted Turkish paper Zaman which Erdogan has arrested its chief editor writes of such attempted revival:

“Neo-Ottomanism began to be heard in the past years — under Justice and Development Party (AKP) rule — with Turkey’s expansionist (not irredentist) foreign policy towards the Islamic near abroad, which was once Ottoman land. Cognizant of the fact that existing states could not be dissolved, at least their union under Turkish patronage could be a successful agenda. Of course, such a scheme was premised on the belief that some — if not all — Muslim countries were ready to join the envisaged new Ottoman “commonwealth.”

It is neo-Ottomanism which includes the whole Muslim world under one commonwealth and Erdogan with Ahmed Davutoglu are leading the expedition.

The appearance of the Ottoman imperial coat of arms as lapel buttons, or various Ottoman rulers’ seals as car window stickers, is not accidental. They indicate an emotional affinity for the Ottoman past and its superiority over the republic.

The utopia still survives in internal politics, functioning as a placebo for the power — and prestige — hungry masses.

The last effort of the government in reviving the Ottoman past has been its willingness to impose obligatory Ottoman language courses in high schools. Ottoman Turkish was Turkish embellished with Arabic and Persian (see The Language Of Antichrist Is Being Revived).

One Kurdish writer was upset “Needless to say, the success of a political project that aims to revive the past, much like bringing the dead to life, is impossible. Any impossible mission or project is better understood for what it is against, rather than what it wants to achieve.” But this speaks of the miracle, its not something to be expected or is easily accomplished, that even the Antichrist’s followers will marvel: “The inhabitants of the earth whose names have not been written in the book of life from the creation of the world will be astonished when they see the beast, because it once was, now is not, and yet will come.” (Revelation 17:8)

Folks are not all convinced of our report regarding the revival of an Ottoman beast. But perhaps The following promotional video by the Turkish government can reverse this view. It shows several things; an old Ottoman head was removed “the head that was wounded” and its time to put it back. Pay close attention to the map that quickly flashed which shows exactly the sphere of influence of Antichrist’s commonwealth as predicted in Scripture coming out of the Great Sea as Daniel predicted (the Mediterranean). Scenes from the last Ottoman wars are shown in which one receives a head wound (1:31) depicting the death of the sick man of Europe and sudden scenes of death and mayhem depicting Islam’s 7 years of turmoil prior to the rise of Mahdi (caused primarily by ISIS). The solution to all this Muslim suffering is not to recognize that the same devil of Islam caused all this mayhem, but that a re-risen Ottoman aspiration is seen as the solution in which the whole earth is made to marvel at the Ottoman reviving from the dead in which all will bow to Islam’s image. Scenes are flashed depicting the Ottomans in the past and the Ottomans reviving in the near future with Medina, the second major city in Saudi Arabia being a focal point in a map which depicts the spread of Islam in its glory days. The solution is that the whole world must bow to Islam and Istanbul Turkey will lead the way for this global endeavor. In the end it shows the solution, a Turkish military aspiration and an Ottoman modern war machine fighting while they all bow. In essence they will challenge the world with Ottoman military might: “they also worshiped the beast and asked, “Who is like the beast? Who can wage war against it?” (Revelation 13:4). But in order to accomplish all this, the wounded head must be remounted as it was in the glory days:

The Ottomans who will bring Islam into the world which are ready to open their gates since Turkey according to the world represents Islamic democracy, moderation and modernization which will be the perfect trojan horse.

Westerners need to stop being influenced by fiction books written by many prophecy analysts attempting to take the passage of Revelation 13:15 literally. Thus many are expecting the Antichrist to produce a literal animated statue that will speak, which everyone will be commanded to bow to: “He was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that it could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed.” But whenever one interprets a passage that was intended to be allegorical or an allegorical passage that is intended to be interpreted literally, they have fallen prey to a common pitfall.

The prophecies concerning Israel’s return to the land were always intended to be taken literally, yet for decades the Church allegorized these passages and interpreted them as referring to itself. The Seven Mountains of Revelation 17 are another prime example of symbolism that has been improperly interpreted literally. Imagine what kind of interpretation we get if we literalize, “the dragon was enraged at the woman.” The Bible would become a child’s fairy-tale. How can anyone literalize, “and I saw a beast coming out of the sea”?

What about: “one of the heads of the beast seemed to have had a fatal wound, but the fatal wound had been healed”?

Many interpret this passage to mean that the Antichrist will die from a fatal head wound and then come back to life. But if this scenario were true, then this would mean that Satan would be a giver of life.

But this is absurd.

In seeing these absurdities, we can see the need to dig deeper into the allegoric meaning of certain passages. So how are we to understand this passage then: “He was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that it could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed”?

Firstly, a beast is a threat. The obvious interpretation is that the prior beast kingdom which threatened and persecuted the Church, that was wounded, shall come back to life again and threaten the Church once more. This is simply a revival of a wounded kingdom—not an individual. After Rome which was eventually christianized, the greatest persecutor of the Church after John’s Revelations was none other than the Muslim Ottoman Empire which will revive again as the eighth head being a replica of the seventh. John was not only referring to the time of the end, but to the seventh kingdom which will re-arise as the eighth, in the end. (Revelation 17:10-11) It is crucial to keep in mind that Prophecy was intended for all of Church history and not just the apocalypse. Revelation 9 for example was commonly interpreted to be the Ottoman.

Revelations is a puzzle intended for the few whom God granted wisdom. When we examine Scripture, first we must commit ourselves to some deeper investigation and then we must allow the Bible to interpret itself. The concept of reviving and creating an image of the beast is something that the Scriptures give us ample information to understand properly. If we search through the Bible for various usages of the word “image,” we will gain significant insight into the nature of what this passage is actually talking about. There are several aspects to the meaning of this “image”:

The Bible describes “an image” as a religious or national symbol set up in the Temple, “For the Israelites will live many days without king or prince, without sacrifice or sacred stones, without ephod or an image.” (Hosea 3:4)

When Israel was destroyed as a kingdom, it lost everything. It lost it’s centralized national religious institution with the destruction of the Temple (sacrifice, ephod), and also lost its national symbols—the Ark of the Covenant, Menorah, and the rest of the Temple articles.

Islam also has a Temple for Allah (the Ka’ba) along with temple articles (the Black Stone). Jehovah’s Temple articles in Jerusalem were a shadow of greater things to come—the Messiah, while Allah’s Temple articles (the Black Stone) resemble a shadow of Satan’s coming—the Antichrist.

An example of this would be the image of Caesar imprinted on coins that represented the Roman Empire. Decades ago we wrote that the Mark of the Beast might be an emblem or symbol of the Beast Empire that carries with it a blasphemous creedal element. (See page 381, God’s War on Terror)

An official image or emblem of a kingdom gives it a sense of national identity: “He ordered them to set up an image in honor of the beast who was wounded by the sword and yet lived.” (Revelation 13:14)

This “image” of the Beast (empire) would constitute the replicating of the old monster—the ruthless Islamic Empire that fell. This is the primary meaning of the verse. However, it is not the only explanation of every verse containing the word “image”. To make or carry an image, a flag or an emblem of something, is akin to showing support and allegiance to whatever the image or emblem represents. That is, the followers of the Beast will declare their support and submission to the Beast Empire and all that it stands for.

The followers will espouse its purpose, its ideology or doctrines and its goals. These emblems that once died with the old kingdom are revived again, as we see in Islam. An image could be a mark of Satan that identifies his followers. The Antichrist will, in this way, mark his followers with a blasphemous creed.

An Image also could represent an idol—a medium that represents a living being. One could erect an idol to a god. King Nebuchadnezzar erected a massive image of gold (just as we see the Turkish emblem made of gold) and demanded all of his subjects to bow and worship it. This is an example of idolatry. This could easily apply to Satan, who is called Ba’al, Bel, and Beelzebub. One could erect an image of Ba’al (Satan) that would serve as a medium and a representation of Satan worship. This type of image is not restricted to a statue however; it can even be a stone such as the black stone meteorite in the Kaba in Mecca, “At last the mayor was able to quiet them down enough to speak. ‘Citizens of Ephesus,’ he said. ‘Everyone knows that Ephesus is the official guardian of the temple of the great Artemis, whose image fell down to us from heaven,’” (Acts 19:35) The image of Diana was not represented by a statue, but a Black Stone which was worshiped in Ephesus identified as The Image of Diana.

Yet, these images are all symbolic of Satan worship, “What say I then? That the idol is any thing, or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is any thing? But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils.” (1 Corinthians 10:19-20) Satan sets up idols as representations of himself until he comes down to earth and establishes himself as the Antichrist in human form.

“For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.” (Roman 8:29) In this case, “image” is in matter of likeness.

The ultimate image would be Antichrist himself, which will be the manifestation of Lucifer in a human image. In the end, the living image of Satan will attempt to replace Christ—this is the Antichrist. Islam does teach that a Muslim can become God (see explanation here)

Psalm 82-83 claims there will be a war between Messiah and the Antichrist. The Gideon-Messiah or War-Messiah who comes to rescue Israel in the story of Zebah and Zalmunna which is explained in Judges 8:21: “Then Zebah and Zalmunna said, ‘Rise yourself, and fall upon us … And Gideon arose and slew Zebah and Zalmunna; and he took the crescent ornaments that were on the necks of their camels.” (Psalm 83:11) Later in verse 26, the Bible says that the Midianite kings were wearing the same crescent ornaments around their necks. After Gideon stripped all of the crescent ornaments off of the slain kings, the people and the camels, he melted the gold.

The story of Gideon is the story of Messiah. It is also the story of David and Goliath—a parallel to the showdown between Christ and the Antichrist, who blasphemes the God of Israel and proclaims, “I am against you O most haughty one.” (Jeremiah 50:31)

David, with precision bombing, lodges a stone into Goliath’s forehead. This is what happens to Babylon and the Antichrist. “Their arrows shall be like those of an expert warrior; None shall return in vain.” (Jeremiah 50:9) This is modern precision bombing. Not a single missile will miss it’s target. Bel, the moon-god, will also be destroyed and all the idols of the crescent moon taken away, “Bel is shamed. Merodach is broken in pieces; Her idols are humiliated, Her images are broken in pieces.” (Jeremiah 50:2)

Bel, or Ba’al, the cult of the crescent-moon is finally destroyed. Bel has always been symbolized by the crescent-moon.

Crescent Moon clearly visible on the Ottoman Emblem including its flag

Psalm 83 gives us the summary of the confrontation with Islam, in which God will do to the enemies of Israel what Gideon did to Midian. It is crucial to understand that Gideon as a judge of Israel is a prophetic type of Jesus. He is symbolic of the fighting Messiah. Joseph is symbolic of the suffering Messiah, and David of the King Messiah. So if we want to find out more about what Christ does when He comes to judge, we need to study Gideon.

In Judges 8:21, the word used for crescent is saharon, which literally means crescent moon. It comes from the root of sahar, which is literally used for the name of Satan in Isaiah 14 as Hilal ben Sahar. Hilal, or heylal, is the word that the King James Bible translates as Lucifer. The full phrase actually means “morning star / crescent moon,” which is the very symbol of Islam. In other words, the symbol of Islam and the name of Satan are one and the same. This is significant and is a very clear hint into the spiritual origins of Islam and the Antichrist.

So we see that the ancient enemies of Israel worshipped a god that was symbolized by the image of the crescent moon. To this day, this has not changed. In fact, all evidence points to the fact that Allah is simply another name for Bel or Baal, which simply means “lord” and is also a title of reverence to the Babylonian moon-god. The Romans had the same god, and so did the Greeks, who worshipped Gog (Gygez), a war deity called Men. This is also the god that Abraham left behind for Jehovah, the One True God. It comes as no surprise then that Jesus referred to Satan as Beelzebub (Baal Thubab, Arabic). (Matthew 12:24-27) The Hastings Encyclopedia of Religion and Ethics confirms the fact that the Arab name Allah correlates to Bel: “Allah is a pre-Islamic name… corresponding to the Babylonian god known as Bel.” 14

Gideon was named as “Jerub-Ba’al”, the one who contends with Ba’al the moon god. Gideon was a type of the warring Messiah because he fought Ba’al. Likewise Christ, the ultimate Jerub-Ba’al will fight Ba’al in the flesh, and bruise his head, completing what was promised in Genesis 3:15.

Dr. Arthur Jeffrey, professor of Islamic and Middle East Studies at Columbia University and one of the world’s foremost scholars on Islam, wrote that the name, “Allah” and its feminine form “Allat,” were well known in pre-Islamic Arabia and were found in inscriptions uncovered in North Africa. According to Jeffrey’s, Allah, “is a proper name applicable only to their peculiar god.” He adds, “Allah is a pre-Islamic name corresponding to the Babylonian god known as Bel.” 15 “Bel simply means ‘lord’ and this is a title of reverence to the moon-god Sin” 16

But maybe you have not seen the significance of all of this. Perhaps Isaiah can add the convincing final piece to complete this puzzle on why this is the moon-god of Islam. Isaiah gives us a powerful picture of what Bel (a.k.a. Allah) will do at the end of the age. Most Westerners miss the hint in the famous passage: “I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.” (Isaiah 45:23-46:1)

This verse is later echoed in the New Testament: “every knee shall bow, every tongue shall confess… that Jesus Christ is Lord.” (Philemon 2:8-10) A few verses later, Isaiah also tells of one being in particular who is among them: “Bel bows down, Nebo stoops; Their idols were on the beasts and on the cattle.” (Isaiah 46:1) Bel will bow down before God. This is none other than the image of Allah-Satan, the crescent-moon. In the purest form of poetic justice, the demonic god of Islam will bow low before Jesus, the Mighty One of Israel which the beasts wore on their necks: “Their idols were on the beasts and on the cattle” the very symbol that Gideon removed—the crescent moon in Judges 8:21.

Lucifer’s image is depicted in Revelation 8 and 9 showing Satan wanting to be worshipped. He is a star that fell from heaven: “And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.” (Revelation 9:1) This “him” cannot be an object, but rather Satan himself, a living being (him) cast out of heaven as described in Isaiah 14 and Revelation 8:10.

The most important verse in the Qur’an that describes Allah is perfectly mirrored in Isaiah 14. In Isaiah 14, it is Satan or Lucifer that is described as the bearer of light, and in the Qur’an it is Allah that is depicted as a lamp (light, torch).

In the chapter of the Star, we read: “Allah is the light of the heavens and the earth; a likeness of His light is as a Mishkat (niche) in which is a lamp, the lamp is in a glass, (and) the glass is as it were a brightly shining star.” (Qur’an 24:35-36) Compare this with Revelation 8:10: “And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp and it fell upon the third part of the rivers and upon the fountains of waters.”

The Ottoman Muslims were fascinated with lamp Mishkat as the light of Allah and is why the Tughra resembles a lamp and also the peacock of all angels in which Muhammad and the Mahdi will be the manifestation of Allah “I am Allah” which is not foreign to Turkish Sufi Islam.

“Nūr Muhammad (“Light of Muhammad”) or Nūr Muhammadī (“Muhammadan Light”)is a term central to later Sufi and Shī`ī speculations. Although the Qur’ān repeatedly states that Muhammad is only human, a messenger entrusted with guidance of the people (see surahs 6:50, 25:8, 25:22), later currents in Islam transformed him increasingly into a spiritual, luminous being. The historical Muhammad was thus metamorphosed into a transcendent light, like the sun, around which everything created revolves. This idea had colored later mystical Islam on both the elite and folk levels.” (Enc. Rel. 11:23)

This also explains the sun and the rays of light eminating from the Ottoman emblem which also resemble the Caliph.

In summary, the death of one-third of the earth’s population occurs during the rise of the eighth empire, which will be an Islamic empire. Satan, who is the fallen star, and the destroyer who is unleashed, will precede the “mountain” (empire) that will cause one-third of mankind to die. The Black Stone image in Mecca owes its reputation to the tradition that it fell from the “heavens.” Like the Black Stone of Aphrodite, the Black Stone of Mecca is also clearly an “image” of Satan.

Yet this Satanic image that is created by the Beast in Revelation 13:15 which can speak and cause all who do not worship it to be killed, is mentioned as a holy thing by Muhammad. In an Islamic tradition authenticated by At-Tirmidhi, Al-Abani notes, “Allah will raise up the stone [the Black Stone] on the Day of Judgment, and it will have two-eyes with which it will see and a tongue which it talks with, and it will give witness in favor of everyone who touched it in truth.” According to Muslim traditions, the Black Stone is even the redeemer of Muslims. Al-Tirmidhi notes that many years ago, the Black Stone was, “whiter than milk; it was only later that it became black as it absorbed the sins of those who touched it.”

The Ottomans want us all to bow to their image in today’s Babel.

The Seven Towers on Mount Babel overlooking Mecca.

My response to them is: take a hike. We only bow to a different tune which only our shepherd knows the symphony.

Very interesting thoughts, Walid. Your emphasis on the Antichrist system having an image reminds me of the how the Nazis used the swastika or the Imperial Japanese used the rising sun: These systems used an image to represent an identity, a nation, a way of life. It makes perfect sense that the Antichrist nation would do the same, finding a compelling and magnetic image of its own. I’m curious to see what Erdoğan and his team come up with in the coming months. You’ll be the first to tell us, I’m sure. 🙂

Your point on “Hilal ben Sahar” is very telling! The flags of Pakistan and Turkey show a crescent with a single star, a perfect representation of “Hilal ben Sahar.” It’s all making sense, Walid!

    • shoebat

“is there a relationship between “hilal” and “halal,” as in the food safe to eat for Muslims?”

No. Nothing whatsoever. Halal starts with a Hhet and Hilal with a soft “H” different letters.

      • Owen Schumacher

Gotcha. The English transliteration is misleading, then.

  • David Harding

For me……..Your best so far Walid!

    • shoebat

      Thanks David.

  • Marcos Filipe Guerra

    Hello Walid,

    Correct reference:

“And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses {were} as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone.”

    Revelation 9:17

Great post by the way. I’ve always wondered about those horses.

    Here’s something I wonder also:

And I saw another beast rising out of the earth; and it had two horns like to a lamb, and spake as a dragon; and it exercises all the authority of the first beast before it, and causes the earth and those that dwell in it to do homage to the first beast, whose wound of death was healed.

    Revelation 13:11-12

Aren’t horns rulers? If so could those be the rulers of Turkey and Iran? Like a duet of some kind. The kaliph and some other guy. Sometimes I thought that the 2 horns were the antichrist and someone to deceive the christians into pledging alegiance to this beast. I thought that because of these verses:

“Then if any one say to you, Behold, here is the Christ, or here, believe {it} not.
For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall give great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect. Behold, I have told you beforehand. If therefore they say to you, Behold, he is in the desert, go not forth; behold, {he is} in the inner chambers, do not believe {it}.”

    Matthew 24:23-26

However it could be only 2 rulers joined together to revive the Beast, because the antichrist is the point of focus of the Bible regarding the enemy like these verses:

“Let not any one deceive you in any manner, because {it will not be} unless the apostasy have first come, and the man of sin have been revealed, the son of perdition; who opposes and exalts himself on high against all called God, or object of veneration; so that he himself sits down in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.”

    2 Thessalonians 2:3-4

I think Christ warned us about a different kinds of deceptions in the end times besides the antichrist, but I know that there are at least 7 kings that give their rule to the beast, but Is it 2 main rulers or is it just the antichrist-THE false prophet?

Anyway, I’m curious about many things and I’m buying God’s War on Terror, I haven’t bought it yet because the value of the dollar around here is getting near 3 to 1, I’m hoping it go down before christmas. Love your work, great article and very good timing. God bless

Thanks for the correction. Why not watch the series for free on youtube which someone posted without our permission here:

      • Marcos Filipe Guerra

LOL, thanks, I will watch, but I like books that I can take along with me, besides, I would like to bless you by buying your book, and that rescue christians bumper-sticker. I’m very curious about that book and I want to contribute in our cause to help our brothers and sisters. Behold the Lord our God is one, and so is the church. One in mind, heart and justice. God bless you Walid, in the name His beloved Son, Jesus, the Christ.

        • shoebat

Indeed. A book is always there, you can mark it and keep it so when Kingdom comes, it becomes a collectable item.

  • RodK1975

Wow, the symbols, types and images are being laid on THICK. They are all over the place and are screaming out that this is what was foretold. Too bad too many people are looking at singular signs and singular fulfillments of prophecy.

    • Steve Smith

Rod, see my Icon, notice what is at the bottom? the beast is coming back to life. There is a connection to my cross Icon and the vandalism of this Orthodox church. the cross of Christ conquers the crescent of Islam.

      • RodK1975

Russians and the Orthodox church destiny ordained by Almight God, how many realise God is focused on Russia in all of this, Im sure with some suffering in the west they will sing a new tune.

      • Wow interesting.

        • Steve Smith

Hey Vinny, the Tatars and the Turks are a related people, they are tribes that came out of Central Asia. They were the slavers for the Ottomans. Tatars would raid Russia for slaves.

          • I sent you a message on orthodoxy about 2-3 weeks ago and you never responded. No worries, I ended up in a long discussion with Rudy Carrera on Orthodoxy and it was very helpful. I’ve been on this awesome discovery of Orthodoxy in the last several weeks and even checked out an Orthodox service last Friday (Greek Orthodox.) Spent an hour with the father afterwards. He listened to my testimony and we talked about many things. He gave me his number and we were in touch again today. I discovered Ancient Faith Radio through talking to Rudy and I’ve been listening everyday. I just ordered a book today by Bradley Nassif, “Bringing Jesus to the Desert.” I heard him in a discussion/debate with an evangelical at Wheaton college and I was moved by his sincerity, and knowledge. As an Lebanese who was raised Orthodox in the U.S., spent some time in evangelicalism and then returned to Orthodoxy, I found his life and story intriguing. I was a former Catholic turned Evangelical, so many of his interests and views seemed to coincide with mine. Just thought I’d share that.

          • Steve Smith

I never got it, if I did I would certainly answer.

          • I should see if I can find it and then send it to you again here, just so you know what I asked.

          • Steve Smith

            Sure Vinnny

          • Found my original post to you. I’ve done an immense amount of study since I first sent this to you, but I knew I wasn’t going crazy and eventually found it. So Here it is, still would like to hear your take:

I’ve been continuing to read this website and I am enjoying all of its context. I have a question regarding the Eucharist from an Orthodox point of view and understanding. Perhaps I’ve not found where it is written. I believe, from reading the early church fathers (ante-Nicene) that they were distinctively teaching the Body and Blood of Christ are present in the elements at the Eucharist.

As I read the early church fathers, I see them clearly espousing the fact of the elements becoming the body and blood of Christ, which they always mention happening after the elements have been “consecrated” or “consecrated by prayer” etc. The point I am getting at is that the Catholic Church teaches the elements become the body and blood of Christ through transubstantiation. Doesn’t the Orthodox church consider the process “mystery?”

            1. I am assuming the Orthodox believe this as well, correct? If not, how to the Orthodox understand the Eucharist?

            2. What is the Orthodox teaching of how the elements become thus?

            3. What is the difference between “mystery” and “transubstantiation?” (If there even is one.)

            4. Do the Orthodox teach only one of your priests (is that what you call them too?) can deliver the Eucharist (is that what you call it?)? – It seems like the blessing of the bread and wine through the prayer of consecration such as found in the didache would change the elements for a group to partake in the supper.

            5. What is the basic reason for the split between the Roman Catholic and Orthodox (East/West) in 1054?

To me it seems the basic premise of the ante-Nicene fathers was the importance of the celebration of the Eucharist and the distinct mark it made and had for the Christian community. I do not see the restriction (perhaps I haven’t read enough) where only a certain person could change the elements to the body and blood of Christ. It seemed as though it was very important the early church fathers spoke clearly of there having to be wine and water, the two had to be mixed, there had to be the consecration through prayer and then the elements were present. If you and I were stuck on an island, about to perish and we had a glass of wine, some water and our last piece of bread, why could you and I not consecrate the bread, mingle the wine and water and partake of the last supper before we left this earth? It seems to me Calvin was very concerned with the Lord’s supper too and this important aspect of worship was as important to the Protestants as it already had been to the Catholic and Orthodox. In the last month, it has become an extremely important topic to me because I do not want to be separated from the fellowship of faith by this issue. I know very little of what the Orthodox believe on this issue so I was curious if you could shed some light?

          • Steve Smith

HI Vinny, First off you are right, we call it a mystery. We never came up with a formula to explain the Eucharist, who can know the mind and workings of God. we don’t put God in a box we just know that it happens and leave it at that.

The bread and wine become his body and blood by the power of the Holy Sprit, the he prayers of the Priest and People.

The Orthodox Church has always held the view that it is a mysterious reality, and that it is not within the power of our minds to compprehend it. It comes by the way of prayers. Not a moment of consecration. They look upon the entire Eucharistic Prayer as forming a single and indivisible whole, so that the three main sections of the prayer, Thanksgiving, Anamnesis, and Epiclesis, all form an integral part of the one act of consecration.

So, such a moment of consecration cannot come until the Amen of the Epiclesis. Here is the prayer.

Again we offer unto Thee this reasonable and bloodless worship, and we ask Thee, and pray Thee, and supplicate Thee: Send down Thy Holy Spirit upon us and upon these gifts here offered.

And make this bread the precious Body of Thy Christ. (Amen)

And that which is in this cup, the precious Blood of Thy Christ. (Amen)

Making the change by the Holy Spirit. (Amen, Amen, Amen )

That these gifts may be to those who partake for the purification of soul, for remission of sins, for the communion of the Holy Spirit, for the fulfillment of the Kingdom of Heaven; for boldness towards Thee, and not for judgment or condemnation.

Vinny, there has been only one Eucharist ever, every Liturgy is holy time travel. hope you can get your mind around this we join the Eucharist that is offered in the upper room. The word Anamnesis means more than to remember or memory of something it means put yourself actually there.

laptop is acting funny, so I will break this up in segments. here is a vid you may like this is how the bread is made ready for the Eucharist.

          • Your answer was still very helpful. I’ve been doing a lot of study off of Ancient Faith Radio. I’m also enjoying a book from Bradley Nassif titled, “Bringing Jesus to the Desert.” It is looking at those who lived the monastic life. I just recently watched a video on the Jesus Prayer, which I myself had never heard of and actually read in Nassif’s book and then about a week later it was on the Public Media channel and I was able to DVR it. It was also very interesting. I don’t know where to start on telling you all I’ve been reading and studying, but its been fascinating. As a former Catholic, some is familiar to me, but again, after becoming an evangelical/protestant/baptist/pentecostal/non-denominational/baptist again, I’ve been away from it for so long, that it is hard to re-assimilate into. I have Greek Orthodox church about 10 minutes from where I work. During Christmas, they had 40 days of liturgy and services, so I was able to make two during lunch breaks. The first day the priest actually stayed after and talked with me for about an hour. We are actually going to do lunch this week. I’m very thankful for some of the orthodox followers on here who’ve made suggestions and have been helpful, particularly Rudy Cabrera who I’ve not spoken with in a bit, but he has answered so many of my questions too. But thanks for all of your posts, I may not comment much on them, but often your insight brings a lot to the discussion boards around here. Are you from the U.S.? I was curious if you were Orthodox and raised outside the U.S.

          • Steve Smith

Vinny, I’m Volga-German and Crapatho-Russian. Dad ,Catholic Mother Orthodox. …… Mom and grandma were refugees. Dad was a US citizen.
The name was changed to be more Anglo, Schmidt was not a good name during WW2.
take a look at my Face book page. I’m from an Slovak.

          • Steve Smith

Only one Priest or Bishop prosides at the Altar and they act in the person of Christ. Its like Christ is there in person and he takes the part of the Great High Priest.
the English word Priest comes directly from the Greek Presbyteroi or Presbyter/Elder
To explain the split would take a long explanation. Let us just mark it down to the misunderstandings of Cardinal Humbolt the Papal leget . THINGS WENT DOWN HILL FROM THERE. The East has a different mindset from the west.

    • Softly Bob

Many are not even looking for signs at all. Those who do not believe in God or worship false gods will be so deluded that even when the signs of evil are staring them in the face they will still be deceived.

This is truly interesting, Mr. Shoebat. I’ve always been symbolism-keen–even my books are focused around symbolism–so seeing all of this is of great intrest to me. I think we Westerners forget that the middle east has a very rich tradition of symbols, images, and so on. I think our lack of being able to understand the Middle Eastern Mind in general is probably why we have gotten prophecy predictions so wrong for all these years. Fantastic work! Keep it up! 🙂

How it worked was that I was the first to pin-point the Mark of The Beast, the Image, Islam in my first original book Why I Left Jihad. Joel picked up on it and expounded from the Hadith about Mahdi. I was the one who invited him to collaborate on an effort to expound on the prophecy. He contributed whatever he had from the Mahdi, but I didn’t like the result and rewrote the whole works in God’s War on Terror and added all the prophetic information. Joel turned around and repackaged his old works instead of focusing on the new endeavor which had much more than what he had.

  • “The emblem is truly a puzzle which tells the Ottoman story including reason, intent, geographic hegemony and theological goals which after inquiring from Arabic sources gives more insight as to what John, Daniel and Ezekiel have predicted in the Bible.” Which Arabic sources did you inquire into? Sorry if I missed it in your references.

“We told you so” will perhaps be our motto for years to come reminding of what we etched years ago. Revelation 13:18 said “this calls for Wisdom.” Revelation 22 gives some of the following words: verse 7 “Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy written in this scroll.” Verse 9 the angel said, “I am a fellow servant with you and with your fellow prophets and with all who keep the words of this scroll. Worship God!” In verse 11, “let the holy person continue to be holy.” Verse 14, “Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city.” Verse 17, “The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let the one who hears say, “Come!” Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life” and finally verse 21, “The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s people. Amen.”

My point? John still wanted to encourage and exhort his readers to go on to holiness and understanding and worship of God. “We told you so” was not one of the statements of John in receiving the revelation. If God has allowed you to receive such wisdom in a time such as this, fall before God and worship him. Are you worthy or unworthy to receive such insight? John was so overcome, he almost worshipped the angel and was admonished from doing so and told to worship God. In any event, thank you for your time and thought provoking work. It requires additional
study for those of us who have a lot to learn (and re-learn.)

    • Trevor

His “We told you so” are in reference to those so-called prophecy experts who have repeatedly for years asserted that Mystery Babylon is found in the European Union and that the Antichrist is coming from the EU.

Even there was a poster on this site that I repeatedly refuted because of her insistence that Mystery Babylon is the United States which is a huge fallacy and very much anti-America.

There’s still people who, with eyes they can see and ears they can hear, refuses to see that prophecy are unfolding in front of us daily and are located within the confine of the “world” of the Middle East.

      • I get it. But as right as it may be, it still comes off wrong. We are to display the attitude of Christ in all things we say. That was my point. Walid doesn’t respond to me anymore anyway, he must be mad at me. Ha ha.

        • susan

If you weren’t so critical or perhaps jealous is a better word. Go examine your conscience first. Then re-examine, then go to confession. ;-))

          • You figured me out, I confess. I come here out of shear jealousy. Please go read all of my comments on You will clearly see my jealousy is evident in every post and discussion. Darn it, I thought I was able to disguise that all this time.

        • Trevor

Nah. Jesus was pretty harsh Himself when He called the Pharisees a brood of vipers and called them hypocrites as well. If Jesus was that harsh, Walid can say “I told you so” if he likes.

    • susan

I’m glad you’re learning something. However “…fall before God and worship him…” sounds rude and judgemental to my ears.

Just how do you think he received these revelations to begin with? How many years would you like to walk in his shoes? If I were you, I’d apologize for such an accusation against Walid.

  • shoebat

Popularity is about style, not substance, but when I eat a burger, I expect to chew on beef not just plain bread.

    • Tom

Walid, I agree. However, I believe you were raised by God for this very time. As you expressed in another article, your book was endorsed by a well known television evangelist and prophecy teacher that has held an opposing views. You’re similar to Paul in some ways I think. I want to support your ministry in some way. Beginning in 2007 I suffered one of several strokes that led to a dramatic change in my finances and lifestyle. I’m praying that God will show me a way. You are in my prayers. Warmest blessings to you, your family and your ministry.

Almost nobody picked up on the fact in one of the pictures, there’s a rider on the white horse wearing an Ottoman-style crown.

In the big emblem with all the symbols, nobody picked up the weighing scales and the bountiful foods right underneath it.

Both are straight from the book of Revelation symbolizing the two of four horsemen depicted in Revelation.

There’s also the sword, lances, spears, and guns – part of the rider of the red horse bearing warfare.

In one image, there’s the four horsemen of Revelation packaged neatly in that one image.

    • susan

I saw the rider on the white horse wearing the crown, the scales, something is on the, left scale. I thought the food was flowerss though. Not sure what the, blue, vase with a circle on it is.

      • Trevor

What’s on scales? It looks like an image straight from Revelation 6:6, “A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius.”

In other words, the price for wheat and barley have gone up, which would be so expensive it would consume a full day wage (that’s according to the footnote in my Bible).

It’s amazing the accuracy that God gave to John to encode the prophecy through use of symbols and pictures.

    • Grandmere

Wow Trevor. I saw that too. White horse going forth to conquer. We are getting so much intel it literally makes one’s head spin.

I am not allowed into Canada since I was a “terrorist”. Last time they arrested me on the plane. But I smuggles their anyway through land. When there is a will there is also a way. I remember even getting on the Canadian media but they could not catch me. I have so many stories to tell. Anyway, thanks for the link, its 8 years old.

I liked this conclusion I wrote to Ramzi:

“Jesus came to give us peace, love, and freedom. This is something you never experienced. It’s because you yourself are a victim, not a victim of the Israelis, but a victim to slavery – the slavery of hatred, the slavery of racism, the slavery of a system imposed on you by Arab imperialism. Yes Palestinians need to be free, yes we have an occupation – an occupation of the mind and not land. When Jesus came, they thought that He came to get rid of the occupation by the Romans. Instead, He stunned everyone, that He came to rid us from the occupation of our own sins.Yet Jews never occupied anything if you look at reality, they simply
liberated the land from the Jordanian occupiers, and when they did, and only because they were JEWS, you screamed in pain and agony.”

The University of Ottawa cancelled Ann Coulter’s scheduled appearance there in 2010 because of the many protests in response to her comments she once said that Muslims should not be allowed to fly on airplanes, that they should ride on magic carpets. When a Muslim women later brought up Ann’s comments about the Muslims, and told Ann that she didn’t have a magic carpet to fly on, Ann told her take a camel! That’s pretty funny and daring, Ann has a backbone of steel.

Jude, Peter, and Paul were also talking about the false teachers that preaches other gospels that were not scriptural. I am thinking along the line of Gnosticism and propserity gospels that is so popular today. Now, there seem to be another Gnostic-style movement among the Evangelicals called “mindfulness” being. It’s getting nutsy now.

The more I read up on Orthodoxy, the more I like it, and the more I realize how much my upbringing were more inline with Orthodoxy.

I couldn’t help but admire you two with this photo. You two look like a perfect match made in heaven. It would be neat seeing you two in the clouds when the time comes, just like that photo. Cute. God Bless You Too. Walid Shoebat.

  • Trevor

The 4th beast that Daniel described would fit perfectly with what’s happening today. The beast was told to arise and devour much flesh. I spent some time thinking about it, and I realized how much the Baal worship fits today.

Many false gods in the ancient world could never be satisfied with bloodletting. The Aztecs were known to slaughter tribes until their priests received “revelation” that the god was appeased. I believe their chief god was a snake-god…hmm…that would be Satan, no?

Today, it’s the same pattern. Allah couldn’t seem to get enough of the bloodlust, so the terrorists are slaughtering humans in the name of Islam to appease Allah’s bloodlust. The problem is – it won’t stop. Not until the Lord Jesus Christ returns with His heavenly hosts and slaughters those barbarians, and put all of His enemy under His feet.

In case you were curious what my accusation was, which again I must admit I posted out of shear jealousy, here it is:

“The emblem is truly a puzzle which tells the Ottoman story including reason, intent, geographic hegemony and theological goals which after inquiring from Arabic sources gives more insight as to what John, Daniel and Ezekiel have predicted in the Bible.” Which Arabic sources did you inquire into? We had not talked in quite a while, and your insight is always very valuable to me. But I do see that you seem to be fighting a lot of other battles on this site. Anyway, while I have you, I have a question regarding Rescue Christians contributions. I know every need is important, but is there an area where we specify what we want to contribute to? Is there a certain need we can designate or is all of the work being done in Pakistan right now? I’ve looked at the various donations forms and I did not see where there is a selection of what need to place money too. I didn’t know if all the money was being used for one project right now. Can you shed a little light. Certainly want to make sure this gets done before the end of the year, so please reply as soon as you can. Thanks!
