UK Arrests And Prosecutes Christian Preachers For Declaring ‘Allah Does Not Exist, Mohammed Was A False Prophet And You Will Go To Hell If You Keep Following Them’

Europe and America were once upon a time known for being places of free speech and expression, especially in comparison to most of the world. Now thanks to political correctness run amok and an obsessive desire to please fringe groups, it has become increasingly criminal to speak about basic issues and social problems without being called a “bigot” or a “racist.”

This is a huge problem in the UK, where the government has been kowtowing to Muslims and Islam for years. Things are so bad now that even speaking out against Islam in general is a crime especially if one is a Christian. That is what happened with three Christian preachers, who were arrested for preaching against Islam and two other evils and are now facing jailtime:

Christian Concern has reported that Michael Overd, Adrian Clark and Michael Stockwell were accused by police of “challenging Islam” and “challenging homosexuality” for their preaching at a Bristol shopping area in July 2016.

The evangelists reportedly engaged with the crowd and pointed out the differences between Islam and Christianity, using references from the Bible and the Quran to speak of “God’s love, and the uniqueness of Jesus Christ.”

Overd was also charged in 2014 for “causing offense” when he publicly denounced the Islamic prophet Muhammad for marrying a 9-year-old girl, and was subsequently interrupted by a police officer and forcefully removed from the area.

The crowd was stirred up after the preachers started saying that “Allah does not exist” and “all Muslims will burn in Hell,” a witness told The Bristol Post. (source)

Now this story is not a good development, and Christians must speak out about it. However, I see the same situation happening in America but not with Islam- with homosexuality.

Both the Old and New Testaments are very clear that God hates homosexuality. It is a sin which sacred scripture calls “worthy of death” and is one of only four sins that “cry out to Heaven for vengeance.” According to the classical Christian writers, it was Jesus Himself who came down to and destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah. The Catholic Church herself has constantly condemned homosexuality throughout the ages because of this- one only needs to get a copy of the Book of Gomorrah by St. Peter Damian to understand this.

Many Americans today- and specifically American conservative Christians- will say they are as proudly “anti-Islam” as they are “pro-LGBT.” One only needs to look at the popularity of the flamboyant homosexual and pederast supporting Milo Yiannopoulos among the “conservative crowd.”

But why just pick on Milo? He is one of many voices that we have profiled here for openly speaking in favor of homosexual behavior or, even more dangerously, speaking out against select real evils when Muslims or Mexicans commit them but then refusing to address them when a self-professed homosexual does the same or worse. The list goes on- Ann Coulter, Steven Crowder, Milo Yiannopoulos, Gavin McInnes, GOProud, and more.

Evil is always evil, and it is needs to be called out for what it is. However, one cannot simply scrutinize one or two evils while not just ignoring, but giving license to and promoting other evils of equal value simply because it is socially expedient to do so.

God became man so that man might become like him. Thus when people accuse us here at of spreading ‘hate against gays,’ nothing could be further from the truth. Truth be told, we want to love how God loves and to become the men that God wants us to be, and in order to love how God loves and to follow God how He wants us to follow Him we must also hate what God hates, regardless of what the sin is or what people think or do not think about that sin.

So yes, it is not good what is happening in the UK with Islam, and likewise in America too. But do not forget there are other sins of equal hatred that must be addressed because all sin has the same source, and to address one but to promote another is to oppose and love the deceiver from which sin comes, and as the Bible itself says, “no man can serve two masters, for he will hate one and love the other.”

  • Trevor

Bang on. To ignore one sin because it’s socially acceptable to accept another sin is sin.

Try and point out that all issues are boiled down to good vs evil, you get shouted down. Try and point out that it is a moral issue, you get lectured that you miss the point.

It’s things turning upside down and backward.

    • Kamau41

Reminds us so much of the words right from the great Prophet Isaiah that we are familiar with:
“Woe to you that call evil good, and good evil: that put darkness for light, and light for darkness: that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter. Woe to you that are wise in your own eyes, and prudent in your own conceits.”
      (Isaiah 5:20-21)

      • Trevor

Absolutely. Isaiah’s words continue to remind us that ALL Scriptures are prophetic.

      Andrew too….

  • Kevin Nicholson

Good advice Andrew. Godspeed. article shared on media.

  • Trevor

Thanks. It’s nice having more cheerleader in my section. 🙂

  • ace

Andrew, as you state, both OT and NT are very clear that God hates homosexuality and the Catholic Church has constantly condemned homosexuality, with St. Peter Damian’s Book of Gomorrah being an in-depth look at the issue.

OK, I presume you are much better studied and read than myself, so could you please give me some cites to support your clam that “according to the classical Christian writers, it was Jesus Himself who came down to and destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah.”

I am sincerely asking, so as to better educate myself and others, and yes, I can pull quotes against homosexuality from classical writers such as St. John Chrysostom, Tertullian, Saint Basil of Caesarea, Saint Augustine, Saint Gregory the Great, Saint Albert the Great, Saint Thomas Aquinas, Saint Bonaventure, Saint Catherine of Siena, and Saint Bernardine of Siena, and, it might even be one of these I just cited who said it was Jesus who destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, since it is one thing to have a list of quotes and another to have read these writers in full, still I’d like to know who said it and where someone said what you claim.

Yes, I’ve also heard it said that in the Biblical story of Abraham (Gen 18) encountering 3 men or angels by the oaks of Mamre, it is a actual or type of Trinitarian encounter. Only 2 left Abraham and went towards Sodom, so 2 persons of the Trinity… But, again I’m looking for those “classical Christian writers” (plural) who said it was Jesus. Anyone???

    • Trevor

I will ask you a simple question.

      Is Jesus God?

      • ace

        Did I say any different?

        • Trevor

If Jesus is God, then He was there when Sodom and Gomorrah were overthrown.

          • ace

Do you have a problem with my asking someone for a source? I’m not saying it wasn’t Jesus, I’m just asking who are the classical Christian writers who said so.

Yeah, since Jesus is the Word made flesh, the whole of Scripture is one book about Him. I’ve also heard someone say that it was Jesus walking in the Garden of Eden, the same 2nd person of the Trinity mistaken as the gardener by Mary Magdalene after the Resurrection. I don’t, however have a source for who said that, so I don’t go around saying it’s according to a Classical Christian writer. Yes, and I looked for a Classical Christian writer source on Jesus being the one to personally destroy Sodom before asking the question.

          • Trevor

            Dude, take it easy.

I was asking you a simple question and you got defensive for no reason.

          • ace

Look in the mirror or reread my post. I didn’t question that it was Jesus, I asked for a source so I could tell other who said such a cool thing…

          • Trevor

All you had to do was say, “Yes,” or, “No,” and that was what I was looking for.

            Take care.

          • Michelle Therese

The Holy Scriptures are the source.

“In the beginning was the Word,
and the Word was with God,
            and the Word was God.
He was in the beginning with God.
All things came to be through him,”

There is a grave error in Christendom these days that is of the mindset that “Jesus” only shows up on the scene at Christmas, and that He was somehow otherwise absent from the Old Testament.

Jesus is the 2nd Person of the being we call “God” ~ and as the Scriptures tell us so clearly, “He was *in the beginning* with God”

So the Scriptures are THE definitive source, THE #1 place to start with as “proof” that Jesus was absolutely involved in the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah.

After the Scriptures you will find lots of writings regarding these things by “classical Christian writers” but it’s a huge undertaking. You can go to and do a search of their forums and articles, and even ask and maybe some of them will have names on hand.

          • ace

Please, don’t get me wrong. I have no problem with what you say. And yes, I have NEVER said nor doubted that Jesus was present at the destruction of Sodom & Gomorrah. (You are preaching to the choir on that point.) What I continue to ask is a source for Andrew’s statement that “according to the classical Christian writers, it was Jesus Himself who came down to and destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah.” Who are the classical Christian writers who singled out the second person of the Trinity in this deed of destruction? (Of course, the Trinity cannot be divided and Jesus was present.) I have already searched the classical Christian writers (plural) and cannot find the source(s) for Andrew’s statement. I have also asked someone else locally who may be better read than me and they also have not heard it put quite the way Andrew put it, attributing it to classical Christian writers. It would be great to have a source to share with others – in addition to what is said in Scripture.

          • Ace,

Just look up Shoebat and the verse and you will find examples:

“For Moses, the faithful servant of God, when he said, “The Lord thy God is one Lord,” and thus proclaimed that there was only one God, did yet forthwith confess also our Lord [Jesus] when he said, “The Lord [Jesus] rained upon Sodom and Gomorrah fire and brimstone from the Lord.” And again [he confessed a second time our Lord Jesus by saying], “And God said, Let Us make man after our image: and so God made man, after the image of God made He him.”” (The Epistle of Ignatius to the Antiochians, Chapter II.—The True Doctrine Respecting God and Christ.)

          • ace

Great! Thank you! Duh! Hitting palm on forehead! I should have searched Shoebat first rather than Google and on-line Church Fathers. Most seem to be using this argument in defense of the Trinity and, where OT texts say “the Lord”, the Church Fathers say the Lord [Jesus]. They also go to the biblical story of Abraham meeting the 3 men by the oaks of Mamre which I had already spoken of, I just didn’t know that it was reasoning used by specific Early Church Fathers. So, yup, I got several names at the following link for any others interested:

BTW, totally OT, but have you or others seen the YouTube on the Hermit of Loreto:

  • Flame blue

When these Christian men are imprisoned, they will be banged up on prison wings run by Jihadists, and they possibly will be killed if they don’t accept Islam and become a Muhammadan.

Good news, some utubes are claiming that Milo has been fired by Breibart for advocating that old homosexual pedofiles should be allowed to corrupt 13 year old boys!

    • You picked one of my favorite videos Paul.

      • Paul Doyle

I love it, too. Praise God for the preaching against sin!

        • You didn’t seem to me like a rough talker. No wonder why you still stick around regardless of how many times we brawl over theology.

I like you Paul. Sorry about all the punches, bruises and broken teeth I caused you 😉

          Grab a beer. Cheers.

          • Paul Doyle

Actually, you might be seeing me on those videos in the next few months.
I like you, too, Brother Walid. I’m glad to see you’ve awoken from that coma I put you in. :o)

There is a mistake in the title of the article, alkah exists but he is the devil. He would want us to believe that he doesn’t exist so that he xan work undisturbed to bring the unaware souls to hell

  • mspip

Milo is a disgusting young man. potty mouth and just an evil fag. wonder what his mama thinks of his “life style” what is in his background that would turn him from a nice looking young guy to what he now is??

  • ” As Christians, aren’t we supposed to love everybody?”

Yes, show me examples where homophobes are loved and then lets talk.

By examples I mean articles, essays etc …

    Good luck.

  • Cuzick

God created man in his image. Sodomites have been deceived by Satan And have given themselves to this lie. God loves us . People need to stop blaming him for being deceived,

  • Kamau41

The Holy Scriptures definitely disagrees with you AZ. Here are the words from St. Paul:
“Do you not know that the UNJUST will NOT inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators nor idolaters nor adulterers nor boy prostitutes nor SODOMITES nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor robbers will inherit the kingdom of God.”(1 Cor 6:9-10)

    • I would like to know why AZ gal is so anti-homophobia. Homophobia is not a choice, its a commandment in the Bible.

God ordained some people this way. I don’t think Jesus condemned homophobes. I know the Old Testament doesn’t. A homophobe can never be homosexual, so what do you expect them to do? As Christians, aren’t we supposed to love everybody including the homophobe?

      • Kamau41

I would like to know too why there are so many like Az gal who are anti-homophobia. It’s so strange beyond comprehension and it never has made sense to me. No doubt, God always has and will love the homophobe. I’m so glad and thank God to be one. As Christians, we are certainly to love the homophobe because it’s a commandment in the Bible period!

  • Here at this site, we fight AGAINST ALL EVIL.

So darling, to tell us to only to preach against Islam isn’t going to cut it.

    • Kamau41

      Absolutely!! That’s what we do.

  • I like Catholics. They arrived to America long before the damned Puritans did.

Damned Puritans and their damn interpretation of the Scriptures were from the bowel of hell. Made life miserable for everybody. They don’t know the meaning of joy. They even made Christmas ILLEGAL in America! Thank God sensibly prevailed and overturned it after the Civil War even though Christians defied the damned Puritans for a long, long time.

    • Dang Trevor, now you sound as rough as I am. What happened to you?

      • It’s from hanging around this falafel stand and adopting the Middle Eastern style of being blunt.

Now if you excuse me, I have to go and make sure the Phalanx gun are ready to go. I think it needs to be reloaded with bullets and ready to take out any straggler. After that, I need to sharpen my sword, the old stand by when the Phalanx eventually exhausts its supply of bullets.

        • Just shoot first and ask questions later.

          • David W

Should we use an AR 15 or a Glock 19? Awaiting orders sir…

    • Michelle Therese

In my mind Puritans = “Christian” Taliban!

    • David W

And the Northeast US became a breeding ground for the JWs, Mormons, end-times cults and Seventh day adventists. NOTE the current Marxist/LGBT and atheist strongholds in CT, MA, NY, NJ and VT.

      • I am aware. During my formative years, age 8 to 16 years, I grew up in Rhode Island. Yes, atheistism is very strong in the New England region because of the Puritans.

For example, the Rhode Island colony was founded because Roger Williams was thoroughly disgusted with the Puritans practice. The Salem Witch Trial is still the stuff that haunts the area, all because of familial grudge over where the town line went.

Before that, it was the Puritans who brought with them the cursed British-Israelism heresy where they saw themselves as the New Israel, which spread into North America. It was the Puritans who persecuted the Catholics first and then the Anglicans. Then the Puritans had the gall to complain about choosing which church to follow when it was them who started the entire ordeal.

Oliver Cromwell is the man responsible for many suffering caused upon the Irish Catholics, rounding them up and deporting them to America as indentured servants, something that is conveniently left out in the American’s history book.

  • “what homosexuals are supposed to do. Castrate themselves?”

Can we move on. is cruel and does not show any compassion to Sodom and deletes all comments that does.

    • Higlac

One more word to tackle for you, Mr. Walid Shoebat (if you don’t mind): if you mean people objecting, the word to use is objector (objectors in the plural). An objection is inanimate.

Otherwise, “AZ gal”‘s error is typical of all too many mistaken “Christians”, where they think that the words of Jesus overrule those of St. Paul, especially if they’re trying in one way or another to attempt to belittle or weasel their way out of accepting the entire Bible as God’s Truth. One such was that sodomite “priest” Yarbrough, who your son confronted so well.

      • Corrected. Thanks Hig.

I have never seen a thread started about sympathy for homophobes. You know, like someone who would ask the question “homophobes can’t help themselves being homophobes after reading the Bible. I mean Jesus loves everyone right? So why isn’t there any love and understanding towards the homophobes?”

Its always a thread about loving the homosexuals.

These guys who wanted to screw Lot and even the angels we are supposed to love, but God forbid we show sympathy towards Lot, the homophobe or Abraham, the other homophobe who rescued him.

Lot’s wife repented from her homophobia and showed sympathy to the homosexuals and she turned into a pillar of salt. I mean if AZ Gal likes salt that much…

        • Higlac

I thought that the sin of Lot’s wife was that she looked back at Sodom and Gomorrah, likely to see what God Was Doing with those cities and contrary to the Angel of the Lord Telling her and her husband NOT to do so!!!!

In other words, as we are told elsewhere in the Bible, we have to look forward and never back – which is extremely HARD for most if not all people. Also, I can’t help but pity at least those homosexuals who don’t want to be in that lifestyle (those are the ones who need God’s Help to become and remain chaste). As to those who DELIBERATELY CHOOSE that sin, it’s on their heads and God Will Judge them for it…

          • I would say its all the above including having compassion for the city. But at any rate, just for looking at it she was cursed.

      • Michelle Therese

I always try to point out that during the OT times, Jesus was there! He’s been there since the beginning. So it’s not at all correct for people to try and claim that “Jesus never said X, Y, Z… that was said in the Old Testament!” A lame argument.

      • Michelle Therese

“…homosexuals were created INDIRECTLY by God, not directly, as Adam and Eve were both heterosexual.”

        Good point!

  • “What are they supposed to do?”

Get aids and die. is cruel and does not show any compassion to Sodom and deletes all comments that does. No threads about homos are allowed unless its in condemnation of the practice. is a total homophobic website.

Any objections need to take the matter to God who loves homophobes. Any additional comments will be castrated.

  • I asked you if homophobes are to be loved or hated? Its a Yes or No answer.

As Christians, aren’t we supposed to love everybody including the homophobe??

  • You are funny AZ gal.

    “God could love a homophobe.”

    God is Homophobe 😉

  • Its just I get kind of wondering, all these articles we wrote which answers this issue a thousand times over and then it always comes up. I just think that people fall victim of watching the world and they entertain the questions the world always tries to push that homosexuality is genetic. IT ISN’T.

I mean if that is what you want to discuss, that men are born homosexuals, a myth that has been debunked a thousand times over have at it.

It just depresses me to see Christians fall for that trap.

I should stop caring and just let people fall into traps.

    • Higlac

I don’t think we as Christians can absolutely ever stop caring: to do so would not be Christ-like. He Turns away not from sinners but from SIN itself!!! Also, if He Sees that people are obdurate, He Can Harden Himself and even tell His followers NOT to pray for their peoples – as He Did to Jeremiah because He then Was Determined to Punish His totally-disobedient people!!!

This didn’t mean that Jeremiah or Ezekiel (among others) stopped caring for their people – to the contrary!!! They mourned and wept bitterly for them; and it must have been that much more horrific for them to know that any prayers they could offer for those people would automatically be rejected and even provoke God’s Wrath.

  • Michelle Therese

That’s what gets me ~ the oftentimes militant way that too many “street preachers” go about their work, bellowing through speakers and otherwise being very disruptive and negative. Then they whine when arrested or told to get lost.

  • Cuzick

The start of the salvation or healing of a person is metanoia. This greek word means “change of mind “. In the New Testament it is often translated as “repentance”. But this kind of repentance is not only about regret or guilt or shame; it implies making a DECISION to turn around, and to face a new direction. That new direction is running to Jesus . He is the only one that can restore a person. All are in engaged in war over our soul. Unless we are in full communion with Christ , we have no strength within us to resist the lust of our flesh or discern the lies Satan relentlessly bombards the mind with. This is how we become deceived. We allow the lie into our mind, it moves the emotions or passions within us to where we act on the sin with our entire being. Our Lord will reject none that will humble themselves before his Cross and cry out for salvation. “Oh Lord, Jesus Christ Son of God have mercy on me a sinner “. The Jesus Prayer .

  • Call me when he repents and then lets talk. Until then, lets not waste another precious minute talking about fags.

“Evil is always evil, and it is needs to be called out for what it is. However, one cannot simply scrutinize one or two evils while not just ignoring, but giving license to and promoting other evils of equal value simply because it is socially expedient to do so.”

This reminds me of the beginning of Theodore’s new book.
Pro 9:10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is prudence.
Pro 8:13 The fear of the Lord hateth evil; I hate arrogance, and pride, and every wicked way, and a mouth with a double tongue.

Theodore says, “Since the fear of the Lord is to hate evil, the beginning of wisdom is to hate evil.”

ALL evil. In many of the recent articles here on Shoebat we have certainly witnessed an abundance of double tongue which claims to love life and yet shakes hands with death. Just because the fruit is pleasing to the eyes doesn’t mean it’s not corrupt.

Glad you posted this video. I don’t trust his statement about Fr Michael. His demeanor seemed like he was lying and making it up for show.

On Breitbart, and in the media in general, it is the ‘well-spoken conservative’ Milo that is presented. And his speeches are rational, but give no hint at his other nature. The real, or the other side, of Milo is seen in this video.
