Former American Intelligence Officer Predicts: ‘The Fighting In Ukraine Will Stop By Late Summer Or Early Autumn.’

A former US intelligence officer has predicted that fighting in Ukraine will stop on late summer or early autumn, as we read in RIA:

The main phase of hostilities in Ukraine will end by autumn, retired American intelligence officer Scott Ritter said on the air of the US Tour of Duty YouTube channel .
According to him, Kiev’s attempts to counterattack will fail, and Russian retaliatory strikes will end with the liberation of the entire territory of the new regions and the creation of a buffer zone around them.

“Russia has offensive capabilities for this, and I think that the timing is just right. I have always said: I believe that the combat aspect of this conflict will be completed by the end of summer – early autumn, and I remain confident that these timings are accurate “, Ritter said.

Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky told reporters that the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is progressing “slower than we would like.”

Even if this happens, the fighting will eventually resume because the hatred and tensions between Russia and NATO and Russia and Ukraine run deep.
