A Saudi man stalked his own father, hitting him over the head with an iron piece, stabbing him in the neck and slitting his throat. The Saudi government gave him an instant death sentence. As we read in CNN Arabic:

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – The Saudi Ministry of Interior announced, on Tuesday, that it had implemented a death sentence against a Saudi citizen who slaughtered and stabbed his father in the Makkah region.

The Saudi Ministry of the Interior said in its statement: “Matar bin Abdullah bin Gwizi Al-Qathami – a Saudi national – killed his father, by stalking him, hitting him with an iron piece several times on the head, and stabbing him with a knife in his neck, then slitting his throat. Thanks to God, the security authorities were able to arrest him.” The aforementioned perpetrator, and the investigation with him resulted in an accusation against him of committing his crime, and by referring him to the competent court, a deed was issued against him proving his guilt in what was attributed to him, and a judgment to kill him as a punishment, and the ruling was upheld by his authority, and a royal order was issued to implement what was legally decided and supported by his authority.

And she continued: “The death sentence was implemented as a ta’zir punishment against / Matar bin Abdullah bin Ghawezi Al-Qathami – a Saudi national – on Tuesday, 2/12/1444 AH, corresponding to 6/20/2023 AD, in the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region.”

And she added: “The Ministry of the Interior, as it announces this, confirms the keenness of the Kingdom’s government to establish security, achieve justice, and implement God’s rulings in everyone who transgresses the innocent or sheds their blood, and at the same time warns everyone who tempts himself to do so that the legal punishment will be his fate.”

At times the Muslim world is more Christian than the West, implementing justice when it needs to be done.
