As we warned in our ISIS Manifesto that attacks will increase on the homeland and today we have the FBI today arrested an Ohio man named Christopher Lee Cornell who gave himself the Muslim alias Raheel Mahrus Ubaydah.
He was charged for plotting an ISIS-inspired attack on the U.S. Capitol, where he hoped to set off a series of bombs while shooting everyone who runs out of the building. Its the oldest classic trick we knew in the terror manual used in the Middle East, especially in Israel: create a center of attention and shoot the gathering emergency responders and the scattering crowds.
It is a basic concept but the results are a large number of casualties. It was the plan of my cousin Arin Shoebat except Cornell, or lets just call him Ubaydah which a double attack of this nature usually needs a partner. So Ubaydah who must have developed the lone-ranger method, except he erred when he used social media which exposed his tracks and the FBI sent him a “partner” to carry out his sickly deed and baited him.
But sooner or later, the amateurs will perfect their methods and only then will the media and the FBI will begin to address the serious issues of allowing social media, Youtube and the internet from allowing to post training materials for terrorists.
According to government documents, Ubaydah allegedly planned to detonate pipe bombs at the national landmark and open fire on any employees and officials fleeing after the explosions.
The FBI first noticed Cornell several months ago after an informant notified the agency that Cornell was allegedly voicing support for violent “jihad” on Twitter accounts under the alias “Raheel Mahrus Ubaydah,” according to charging documents. In addition, Cornell allegedly posted statements, videos and other content expressing support for ISIS.
Reviewing the court records reveals the classic story, anyone who wants to kill Americans can access Youtube and learn how to make bombs and detonate them:
But of course, Youtube refuses to remove the training videos.
Cornell came to the attention of law enforcement officials last year when he blew his cover to the informant in an unrelated case the informant told the FBI that someone going by the name Raheel Mahrus Ubaydah was calling for violent “jihad” on Twitter, and making other online comments supporting ISIS. The informant started talking with Ubaydah through Twitter, and then they moved to a separate instant messaging platform. Per CBS News:
On Aug. 29 of last year, Cornell wrote an instant message telling the informant that he had been in contact with persons overseas and did not expect to get the green light to conduct an attack, but said he wanted to do it anyway on his own, the FBI said.
“I believe that we should just wage jihad on our own orders and plan attacks and everything,” Cornell allegedly told the informant.
Cornell reportedly told the informant that such attacks “already got a thumbs up” from Anwar Awlaki before the U.S.-born radical cleric was killed by a 2011 CIA-led drone strike in Yemen. He also wrote, “I believe we should meet up and make our own group in alliance with the Islamic State (ISIS) here and plan operations ourselves,” according to court documents.
The informant met with Cornell two times last fall, and allegedly said during their second meeting that he saw members of Congress as enemies and intended to attack the Capitol. The FBI says that in addition to purchasing guns today, Cornell had been saving money to finance the attack and researching how to build bombs. “The public was not in danger during this investigation,” said an FBI official.
Cornell and the informant met in person in October in Cincinnati and again in November, the complaint states. Cornell told the informant at the November meeting that he considered the members of Congress as enemies and that he intended to conduct an attack on the Capitol, according to the complaint. The document says Cornell discussed his plan for them to travel to Washington and conduct reconnaissance of the security of government buildings including the Capitol before executing “a plan of attack.”
Cornell planned for the two to detonate pipe bombs at and near the Capitol and then shoot and kill employees and officials, and Cornell had saved money to fund the attack, according to the complaint.
Cornell was arrested after buying two semi-automatic rifles and about 600 rounds of ammunition, authorities said.
On Tuesday, authorities disclosed a Cincinnati-area bartender had been charged with threatening to kill Boehner at a country club near his home with a gun or a poisoned drink. Boehner, a Republican, returned to the Capitol on Wednesday without commenting to reporters. But a Boehner spokesman, Michael Steel, said, “Once again, the entire Congress owes a debt of gratitude to the FBI and all those who keep us safe.”
Any wannabe terrorist can learn how to make bombs by simply accessing youtube:
For Muslims to learn how to maim and kill should not be a right, it should be prohibited, but as usual, westerners do not learn by applying preventitive maintenance, but by a high death toll and there are many converts in America, they can strike at any time and are willing to do it. If we examine the failure rate and compare them to the rate of success, America, as we will find out, has been fortunate, but sooner or later we will run out of luck.
