The Western world which includes our governments, our church leaders, pastors and those individuals who prefer to choose willful ignorance about the suffering, persecution and murder of Christians in Muslim and Communist countries are guilty of criminal negligence, at best.
America is still – though hanging by a thread – the leader of the free world and because of her leadership position, has more culpability than any other country for its willingness to not act more forcefully.
Our sister division “Rescue Christians” receives close to one hundred percent of our financial support from individual people predominantly in the USA but we also receive support internationally from people that follow our work in other countries. We receive virtually no support from churches or other Christian institutions despite writing hundreds of letters.
Even people who recognize the problem and advocate or talk about the issue of Christian persecution limit themselves to doing nothing about it except pray and talk. Most of the other organizations that champion this cause do not provide any rescue efforts nor have they any interest in setting up such an effort. That is why we started Rescue Christians.
The Bible does not say you should pray about helping your brethren but it states clearly to do something about it and even states that you shall be judged for not helping your brethren; the judgment is very severe. Matthew 25:31-46
Yesterday, our leaders on the ground met the Canadian ambassador to Pakistan who flatly refused to provide any asylum to persecuted Pakistani Christians or aid in the work we are doing on the ground. We also plan to have a meeting with the U.S. ambassador in Pakistan but we expect to have the same politically correct cowardly inaction.
We know from our knowledge and experience – as well as concrete evidence – what the fundamentalist Islamic agenda is. The historical precedent of Islam is an intention to take over the world and either kill or subjugate practitioners of all other religions. The Christian faith being the largest faith in the world is a prime target for destruction by Islam.
Between 1913 and 1918 the Ottoman Turks murdered 1.5 million Armenian and 700,000 Chaldean Christians in the first Holocaust of the twentieth century. The methods of murder were starvation, cattle cars, concentration camps, random executions and forced marches. Hitler copied exactly the same methods of murder in his destruction of European Jewry and added the more modern concept of giant gas chambers.
Via Genocide Education Project:
On August 22, 1939, in preparation for the impending invasion of Poland, Hitler stated to Reichmarshal Hermann Goering and the commanding generals at Obersalzberg… “Our Strength consists in our speed and in our brutality. Genghis Khan led millions of women and children to slaughter – with premeditation and a happy heart. History sees in him solely the founder of a state. It’s a matter of indifference to me what a weak western European civilization will say about me.
I have issued the command – and I’ll have anybody who utters but one word of criticism executed by a firing squad – that our war aim does not consist in reaching certain lines, but in the physical destruction of the enemy. Accordingly, I have placed my death-head formations in readiness- for the present only in the East –with orders to them to send to death mercilessly and without compassion, men, women. And children of Polish derivation and language. Only thus we gain living space (lebensraum) which we need. Who after all, speaks today of the annihilation of the Armenians?”
Nine million Jews were at risk from Hitler and we know that around two thirds perished at the hands of his henchmen.
Today, over one hundred million Christians are at risk from exactly the same threat and danger posed by the Ottoman Turks who served as Hitler’s inspiration. The very same apathy borne of a fear to offend and denial of the truth is happening today as it did during World War 1 and World War 2. Based on sound logic and historical precedent, more than 60 million Christians are potentially future murder victims because we did not care to do the right thing today. We state this not to be alarmist but because it is happening and the death toll will rise as we continue to ignore and not act. In the last 20 years, already close to 3 million Christians have been murdered in Sudan, Nigeria, Egypt, Iraq, Syria, Pakistan and other countries. If Rescue Christian can raise the needed resources, maybe we can save one million people but even if we do, we still will have failed because we know that many millions more will die because we could only save relatively few. While Oskar Schindler, known as a “Righteous Gentile” rescued Jews in WW2, he too felt guilty that he could only save a few thousand Jews when he knew that so many millions more had not survived.
Advocacy is good but it is simply not enough. We must raise funds to provide the means to save as many of our brethren from this disaster that so few today will act to stop. You can read this and say this is terrible and do nothing or you can become part of the greatest race against death in history.
