In 1973, Joanne Chesimard aka Assata Shakur murdered New Jersey State Trooper Werner Foerster. In 1977, Chesimard was finally convicted of that murder and sentenced to life in prison. Two years later, she escaped with the help of members of the Black Liberation Army and the Weather Underground. Chesimard would find refuge in Cuba and has remained there ever since.
Yes, that would be the same Weather Underground whose founder – unrepentant terrorist Bill Ayers – shared a business office with Obama for no fewer than three years in the 1990’s, on the third floor of 115 South Sangamon St. in Chicago. Speaking of Ayers, he and his wife Bernadine Dohrn named one of their children Zayd, after Chessimar’s close friend and companion who was killed in the same shootout that took the life of Foerster.
On a website dedicated to freeing Chesimard, there is a page which features the writings of Zayd. A poem he authored ends with the following byline:
Zayd Malik Shakur
A Spark in the Prairie Fire
Black Panther Party
One year after Shakur’s death, the Weather Underground published a book entitled, “Prairie Fire”.
We’re so often told that the Black Panther Party and the New Black Panther Party (NBPP) are not related but isn’t it interesting how both organizations had / have similar objectives? As Shoebat.com reported, while in Ferguson earlier this year, then NBPP leader and Muslim Malik Zulu Shabazz led chants that called for the murder of Officer Darren Wilson, who was ultimately exonerated in the shooting death of Michael Brown.
In 2007, Shabazz shared a podium with then U.S. Senator Barack Obama in Selma, Alabama:
There’s not a lick of difference between BPP and NBPP. In fact, it smacks of the Islamic tactic of inventing different names for different groups in an effort to distract and throw people off the scent of the real problem, which leads us to Attorney General Eric Holder who in 1970, while at Columbia University, was part of an armed occupation of an abandoned ROTC office. At the time, Holder was a leader with the Student Afro-American Society (SAAS) which demanded that the office be renamed the Malcolm X Lounge.
Is there any real difference between BPP, NBPP and SAAS? No, there isn’t. Until people stop making these distinctions, they will continue to be effective, just as they are when Sunni Muslims attempt to get westerners to believe that there is a difference between Ansar al-Sharia and February 17 Martyrs Brigade. There is not.
It’s worth noting that days prior to the execution-style murder of NYPD officers Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu yesterday, at the hands of a Muslim clearly ginned up by the racial politics of division practiced by a race-baiting gaggle of political thugs, relations were normalized between the U.S. and Cuba by the leader of that gaggle, President Barack Obama. As was the case in the Bowe Bergdahl trade, the U.S. ended up with the short end of the stick. When it comes to Obama, that’s by design.
U.S. military deserter Bergdahl was traded for three Taliban commanders who were shipped to the nation of Qatar, which is actually a terror state – even if not officially designated as such – that welcomed those commanders with open arms.
In the case of Cuba, still listed as an official State Sponsor of Terrorism, three Cuban spies were traded for a liberal American prisoner who thinks far left Democratic Congressman Chris Van Hollen has his best interests at heart. Even the liberal Washington Post isn’t buying Obama’s protestation that there was no such trade.
If Obama is to be taken at his word (hold your laughter), three spies were returned to Cuba unconditionally, which means he returned enemies of the U.S. to an officially designated State Sponsor of terrorism while getting nothing in return. He didn’t even make the easing of relations conditional on Cuba extraditing a convicted cop killer back to the U.S. so that she could be returned to prison. Three days later, two NYPD cops dead.
Just last year, the FBI placed Chesimard on the Most Wanted List. Yet, despite this, the easing of relations was not even made contingent on Cuba extraditing her.
In 2011, pro-cop killing rapper Common was invited to the Obama White House to deliver his brand of art. Coincidentally, Common has even paid tribute to Chesimard:
