By BI: CONNECTICUT: Stamford Muslim Man calls 911 after four-hour standoff with his ‘aggressive’ 8-pound cat. Police say Mohammed Lokman called 911 to report that his cat had attacked him and was acting so aggressively that he and his wife ran out of the house and couldn’t get back into their home for nearly four hours.
CBS Mohammed Lokman called Stamford police just after 1:30 a.m. Wednesday. He said the nearly 8-pound cat attacked his leg and bit him late Tuesday night.
911 operator: What’s the problem?
Mohammed: The problem is my cat was getting too aggressive. I was inside and she attacked me, and she scratched me in my leg and bite me. So me and my wife, we come outside and now we cannot go in the home like for three, four hours.
911 operator: Ok, you said a cat?
Lokman and his wife then went outside. He told a dispatcher that when they tried to get back in, the cat was waiting behind the door in an aggressive manner. The couple ended up sitting in their car for a while.
The couple was able to get back inside after the 911 call. Police advised them to stay away from the cat the rest of the night.
