Erdogan announces the Ottoman Caliphate, the fourth kingdom of Daniel 2, is RESURRECTING AGAIN!

By RS: As you may know, there is a big election coming up in Turkey in just a few days, where the AK Party (Muslim Brotherhood party) in Turkey is trying to win just four more seats in parliament than the 326 seats they have now. If they win the 330 seats needed, the AK Party, led by President Erdogan and Prime Minister Davutoglu, will rewrite the constitution to establish Erdogan as the new supreme leader of the country in what he’s calling a ‘new presidential system’.

erdogan_ottoman

On Saturday, Erdogan and Davutoglu held a big anniversary celebration of the conquest of Istanbul that happened on May 29, 1453, the real birthdate of the Ottoman Empire:

In the historiography of the world, May 29, 1453 is marked as the end of the Roman Empire, which, according to some historians, was the longest serving empire in history, ruling for a total of 1,058 years. For some, the Roman Empire ended when Constantinople was established as a rival capital with the death of Emperor Theodosius in the year 395. The Roman Empire in the East, which later became known as the Byzantine Empire or simply as the Eastern Roman Empire, ceased to exist on May 29, 1453, when the Ottoman Turks, led by the young Sultan Mehmet II, stormed the city and captured it after a long siege.

Constantinople, later named Istanbul, served as the capital of the Ottoman Empire until its demise.

The author of the quote above noted that there were these posters all around Istanbul:

ottomanempire_reviving

I’ll let the author tell you what the sign says:

The posters featuring the photos of both leaders can be seen on billboards all around Istanbul. The posters read: “Yeniden Dirilis, Yeniden Yukselis,” meaning, “Resurrection Again, Rising Again.”

In other words, the conquest of Istanbul, the real birthdate of the Ottoman Empire, resonates for the “New Turkey” of Erdogan.

Wow. It actually says the Ottoman Empire is ‘Resurrection Again, Rising Again‘, just as Revelation 13 tells us will happen:

I saw that one of his heads seemed wounded beyond recovery — but the fatal wound was healed!

The fatal wound, or demise of the Ottoman Empire happened in 1923 and Erdogan intends for his resurrection of the Ottoman Empire to be done by 2023:

Therefore it is no coincidence to observe that some of the followers of Erdoğan believe he is a caliph who seeks to resurrect the Islamic Caliphate and the Ottoman Empire. It is no coincidence that Erdoğan’s target of “The Great Turkey” is intended to be completed in 2023

statuedaniel

This ‘New Turkey’ is the fourth kingdom of Daniel 2, rising again as the feet of iron and clay. I know some of you are naysayers about this, but we explain why this Islamic empire is the fourth kingdom here.

But we’ll add something to that explanation for you now. Remember the beast in Revelation 13 that has seven heads and ten horns with one of the heads having a fatal wound that healed (that we mentioned above)? Revelation 17 tells us exactly what that means:

The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman is seated; they are also seven kings, five of whom have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come, and when he does come he must remain only a little while. As for the beast that was and is not, it is an eighth but it belongs to the seven, and it goes to destruction.

This is key, that the seventh kingdom is also the eighth kingdom.

The five kingdoms that it says have fallen are Egypt, Assyria, Babylonia, Persia, and Greece (Alexander the Great). The sixth kingdom, or the ‘one that is’, is the Roman empire, as it existed at the time when John wrote these visions down. So what came after the Roman Empire or the sixth kingdom? The Islamic empire, which basically spanned over 1300 years and later became the Ottoman empire. It is the seventh kingdom but it was ended in 1923. And now we are witnessing its rebirth as the eighth kingdom!

REUTERS/Murad Sezer

So as you can see this is a very big deal in terms of Bible prophecy. It is possible however, as I’ve said before, that this rebirth fails miserably. But honestly, I just don’t see how it can. Perhaps they don’t win enough seats this time around and they try again later? Maybe, but I’m betting they aren’t going to let one little election stand in their way of the greatness Erdogan wants to achieve.

Resurrection Power…looks like we’ve got lots of work to do! I’m going to try even harder to help spread the word about your organization. Thank you!

  • That’s one heck of a post to come back with after being hacked Walid. Hit ’em hard!

    • susan

      Another knockout punch!!!

      • Bang!

What I find even more stunning Susan is that I posted the following on my blog just last night:
        http://www.mideastview.org/index.php/entry/the-emerging-islamic-caliphate-is-the-beast-with-seven-heads-and-ten-horns

        • susan

Great article! Thanks for sharing. Although i doubt the rabid Catholic haters will believe it.

          • Thank you Susan. I was one of those rabid Catholic haters Susan. God opened my eyes sooner rather than later…but prophecy is now speaking for itself…anyone who denies what is clearly playing out is spiritually blind. I pray others will submit and allow God to open their eyes as well.

          • susan

Funny how that works isn’t it? The scales come off our eyes and we can see!

          • As only God can my friend.

Wishful thinking, but you never know…..

Let us pray. Hard. Very hard.

          • susan

            I pray it is so.

          • theophorus

I was too. Until I begged God to show me the truth and I began to read the first Christians. All the guys and gals with ‘saint’ in front of their name.
10 months later I was Catholic.

          • May we all remain teachable theophorus, as we become more conformed to the image of Jesus Christ.

          Thank you for sharing this.

          • Anytime Andrea. Thank you for taking the time to check it out 😉

        • Grandmere

          Your site is awesome, son.

          • Thank you Grandmere 🙂 I am still learning, but since I reside outside of the United States, it was important to bring the truth of end time prophecy to my homeland. The Church here in Bermuda is completely asleep. Walid is a great teacher. Prayerfully, the protestant churches here will wake up in time.

          • Grandmere

It is very bad everywhere. It seems to be about “being your best” and “prospering”. I don’t watch church TV except on EWTN. I would love to see a building full of thousands of people down on their knees for once.

        • Trevor

Excellent job. Interesting that there was six caliphs, makes me wonder if al-Baghdadi is the seventh, and Erdogan would make the 8th.

          • Al-Baghdadi is a Caliph ‘wanna be’. He is not established at all.

          • Trevor

He may be a wanna-be, but he manages to convince many to join him.

          • This is true…but he will still have to be legitimized by those outside his particular circle. This is not to say it is not possible mind you; it is a fascinating concept but I simply do not see his star rising that much higher. I will not hesitate to admit that I am wrong. You do have some insightful thoughts Trevor.

          • Trevor

Absolutely. The Muslim Scholar body…I can’t remember the name… pretty much gave al-Baghdadi the cold shoulder and rushed to Turkey to declare that the caliphate would come from Turkey.

Walid had shown the video of a certain top man who made that declaration in front of Erdogan and his right-hand man, that imp whose name I cannot type because I cannot spell it.

Yet, I will say that al-Baghdadi is what John the Baptist is to Jesus. al-Baghdadi basically is doing Turkey’s grand caliphate’s dirty work by removing the Sykes-Picot, the restraining agent that is keeping the lawlessness one at bay.

I know we all slam Obama, but lately I have been doing some thinkin’, and I came to the conclusion we need to realize that God appointed Obama so His will could be accomplished.

The Book of Romans say that God can create vessel of honor and dishonor according to His will, so that it can be said, “Can the clay say to the potter, ‘Why have you made this way?'” As God told Pharaoh through Moses, He appointed Pharaoh who did not know Joseph, so that God could demonstrate to the world His power over the mythical man-god (if you will) and the gods of Egypt Delta.

The world is being prepared for one final demonstration of God’s might and power when He is going to be made hallowed through Gog, as foretold by Ezekiel. It is part of God’s end-game strategy to once and for all destroy the work that began at the Tower of Babel when Nimrod said, “Come, let us build us a tower so we can reach the heavens and make a name for ourselves,” and God, in effect, responded, “No.”

God will demonstrate that He is the one who gives command to the stars, and on the day of Christ’s return, the stars will be diminished, the sun turned to sackcloth, and moon turned red as blood. Then the brightness of Christ’s return will illuminate the earth in all of His glory as thunderous hoof beats of thousand upon thousands of Christ’s saints ride down with glory and power behind the King of kings and Lord of lords as we all fight against the wiles of the devil and crush the Antichrist and his Islamic caliphate!

            Yahweh Nissi!

          • Amen Trevor…sounds like you need to put that in an article brother!

          • Trevor

I have been toying with the idea of having a private blog.

          • Then it is settled. I support you one hundred percent…plus you have the best teacher u could possibly have in Walid.

          • Grandmere

You can help him set it up.

          • I have someone here in Bermuda that can do that

          • Grandmere

Now you two need to get together. There is no substitute for a good mentor.

          • Trevor

Definitely. Walid has really helped get the ball rolling regarding the Islamic caliphate and why it made the most sense over the European Union antichrist. Sad thing is, there were numerous of scholars who identified it long before Walid came on scene.

St. Jerome and Belloc to name a couple who readily understood how Islam is the perfect antithesis to Christianity.

          • True, but the prophetic visions were still sealed at that time, which made it impossible for those great men of old to interpret the technical details of Islam’s role in the end times. I seriously was not looking in the right direction to discern any of this. I am eternally grateful to men like Walid who lay out the Islamic agenda like Sunday supper. Dig in!

          • Trevor

I can take all day to tell you about my journey as well. Looked in the wrong direction as well.

          • Maybe one day we can compare notes brother.

          • Trevor

Would you be willing to have a guest publishing articles on your site? I have experience in writing articles.

          • But of course brother!

          • Trevor

Excellent! If you email me at tgreene0019 at email dot vccs dot edu, I look forward hearing from you.

          • Fr Christopher P. Kelley, DD

Of course, St Jerome died about 200 yrs before Muh’d smeared the world in blood. Did you mean someone else? St John of Damascus, perhaps?
… But then, Qur’an 69:44-46 gives explicit detail about Muh’d’s death, — at least 10 years in advance…
indicating his “real” prophetic status. Tell a muslim!

          • Trevor

I confess I am still learning about Church Fathers (I am, after all, a Protestant), but I was reading a book about Muslims and their role in prophecy written by a Latin father. The name escape me because I didn’t finish it. I can’t remember the name of it, it was suggested by Julie LaBrequce several months ago. The father borrowed many of Jermone’s comments, especially on the Book of Daniel.

          • Grandmere

            Sign me up, brother.

          • Trevor

            I know the feeling.

        • OrthodoxKGC2015

Great post! Noting the geographical extent of the seven kingdoms in history, I cannot help but feel that the Antichrist kingdom, the 8th, will encompass all lands that have been under Islam, at least for a time (on account of sins), and include the whole geographical extent of the Roman Empire at it’s greatest extent as well, to chastise Europe to the Rhine and the Danube rivers and the line of the Carpathian Mountains, and the British Isles excepting Scotland, Wales, and Ireland. I believe also that Antichrist and Islam will seize Latin America, all of the former dominions of the Spanish and the Portuguese in the New World all the way into their former dominions in North America. It will be the greatest and most terrible Empire in human history, and only the desperate defensive measures of the United States and Russia will hold back the savage tide. I hope I am wrong, but it’s my intuitive feeling that’s been with me for some time.

          In Christ,

          OKGC

          • Grandmere

            Intriguing.

          • susan

            Very.

          • OrthodoxKGC2015

There are several considerations I base this on, primarily on private prophesy but more so the rapid rise of Islam, which actually is the fastest growing religion in Latin America.

          • Trevor

Here’s my issue, though, it requires enormous resource to police and keep people in line. How can the presence of Islam be coordinated with the grand caliph?

That is why I think the Neo-Ottoman Empire will be largely confined to the Middle East, but I think they will try to expand. Yet, I doubt.

          • OrthodoxKGC2015

That’s where the really scary transhumanism and occultic elements come in made possible by advances in bioengineering and Computer technology, plus the general autonomy of the Antichrist’s 10 Satraps, who will have greater power with and through Antichrist than any earthly ruler has ever had before. I have read prophesies which infer that the 10 kings of Antichrist’s kingdom will be his ‘brothers’, in either the natural or some un-natural way.

          • Trevor

My friend, please stay away from anything that has conspiracy theories or stuff of science fiction. While I wouldn’t put it past scientists who do not have regard for human life or ethics to experiment, I think it’s best to stick with Scriptures.

          • OrthodoxKGC2015

            No, I was thinking along the lines of what we already know from Scripture and Holy Tradition will be the situation with Antichrist; the power of the demonic hosts, permitted by God to deceive the UnGodly… But, I do not doubt for one minute that the very thing warned of by Churchill about the Nazis is in fact here with mankind today;

“…then the entire world would] sink into the abyss of a new dark age made more sinister … by the lights of perverted science.

After all, all these modern terrors surely come from the Spirit of Antichrist? So, I fully expect that the religion of Antichrist which is Islam to be fully armed and equipped with the cutting edge technology which the personal Antichrist, the Islamic Mahdi, will require.

            God bless,

            OKGC

          • Trevor

Let me quote Paul, “The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved,” 2 Thessalonians 2:8-10.

It will be through Satan’s power that the Antichrist and his agent, the false prophet, will deceive people, even to the point of calling down fires from the sky.

From a Jewish perspective, seeing fires coming down from the sky would be a sign that Elijah have returned, and they would be deceived, for that is the false prophet. From a Christian perspective, it would leave us shaking in our boots because we know it is the false prophet, yet doubts would be screaming in our mind. Jesus warned that if it were possible, even the elect might be deceived, so we must stay on guard, and cling to all thing that are true.

What is true, right now, Christianity and Islam are on a collision course of destiny, and the Good News is that Christianity will triumph, not because of our own might, cunning, or strength, but because of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ will return with power and great glory.

          • OrthodoxKGC2015

Yes it will be so, Antichrist will appear to be on the verge of exterminating all opposition to his lying tyranny, when the Lord and the Lord Jesus alone will rescue us in the End.

            Amen!

            OKGC

          • Trevor

            Amen.

Know who will be key to bringing Jesus back?

          • OrthodoxKGC2015

Well, aside from Jesus Himself, whom?

          • LJW

When the Lord returns there will also be a sense of normalcy to the world. Even though the world was completely evil in Noah’s time. Jesus says in Matt 24: 37″For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah. 38″For
as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking,
marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the
ark,…There will be corruption in our governments, wars, chaos, evil will abound, but it will be business as usual. Merchants will mourn for the loss of revenue when Saudi Arabia is destroyed. We will have plenty of scoffers. Etc., etc. I have been thinking about this lately. What do you think?

          • OrthodoxKGC2015

500+ years ago, it’s as if a new species resembling normal Mankind arose without any clear links to the previous 7000 years of man’s traditions and universal morality and ethics, in the heart of Europe. I think Our Lord is saying that these kinds of people will be carrying on without a conscience or belief in anything other than their immediate pleasures, being atheistic and materialistic, right up to the Day He returns. I’m still working and researching on how this connects to the bigger picture of an Islamic Antichrist, but i’m close to a resolution.

Interesting and timely thoughts, thank you!

            God bless,

            OKGC

          • LJW

There does seem to be more sociopaths, psychopaths and narcissist born today or are we just completely neglectful in raising our children in the admonition of the LORD? A combination of both is probably more likely. People say the world has continued the same as it always has, but I beg to differ. I think it is much more evil. You are correct in what you feel the LORD is saying about these people, the nightly news backs this up. Will you be publishing a paper on this research? I would be interested in reading your findings. Blessings

          • OrthodoxKGC2015

I am not likely to put out a paper or anything like that, but if my findings fit a particular pattern, they should then be testable in real-world events fitting that pattern. I hold my cards close to the vest, maybe too much so, but mainly out of fear of offending good and decent people who aren’t prepared to face things unless it hits them like a two-by-four.

However, I should soon have something ready, a couple more pieces of the puzzle, and then say a few things.

            In Christ,

            OKGC

          • LJW

Great! I will be waiting to hear your findings when you feel it is important to share. And really, there is nothing like a good two-by-four upside the head to ring a few bells in the belfry. Sometimes, good and decent people need a nudge. Blessings

          • OrthodoxKGC2015

Well, maybe not important enough to share anyway, but I want to make sure that it passes the ‘smell test’, lol. I will say that for years my research was like looking down the wrong end of the telescope; I have the facts, just not presented in a way that can be seen clearly to myself or others, as to what the truth of these matters is. The best place to start a story, is of course the beginning.

            Blessings to you!

            OKGC

          • LJW

I believe you are 100% correct! For me, a finer point would be that the LORD created America for Israels time of need. Israel stands almost in the center of the earth. Earths navel if you will. She is the center of attention and always will be because the LORD has placed HIS name there in Jerusalem. I agree with you, beloved Ignatius’ meaning is eschatological as he was moved by the Holy Spirit. GOD SPEED

        • edwitness

I posted this comment to the article you linked to Vernon. Thanks. He missed some very key points.

I have to say that your interpretation is lacking.
For one thing, the 8th kingdom is not of the 7th. It is of the seven that went before it. So it must comprise all of the territory that they did. This would include Europe. Right? But I believe it will cover the whole earth as Rev.13:7 says. “ALL kindreds, tongues, and nations” and not just the middle east.
Not every single person of course. Some will resist unto the death.
For another, the remains of Babylon are seen today. And European Rome is still here to this day. So much for the places that Islam conquers being obliterated so that nothing of that empire exists.
Right now the western elite are forming a middle east that will be able to merge comfortably with the new world order and it’s cashless society. A video called “Bringing Saudi Arabia Down” by David Bay explains how the west
is working it’s plan for the middle east. In it a very different picture of what is happening in the middle east, and why, is given.
And Rev.17:10 & 18 both say that the harlot is Rome. “The woman that rides the beast”. John uses the present tense “is” to describe the city that is the harlot. Rome. The harlot is not the antichrist. It is the religion of the beast. So it will incorporate Islam, as the Roman religion has always allowed pagans to be baptized into her. That is why
she is called the harlot in Rev.17.
Tom Horn has excellent books out called “Exo Vaticana” and “On The Path of The Immortals”. These describe
the true nature of what the Vatican and others are involved in with the “god of forces” in Daniel 11:38.
          Blessings:-}

          • Hi edwitness, I read your comments. Thank you for your input. I am well aware of the work David Bay is doing. I was a devoted follower of his website for years. In fact, just recently I noticed that he has produced a new video, which supports the idea of a Russian led attack on Israel in the last days. It is no difficult thing simply to let world events play out in order to glean a better understanding of where prophecy is being fulfilled and where it is not. It is one thing to defend your position, simply by quoting relevant passages of prophetic scripture, or by presenting fanciful scenarios; but it is quite another thing to actually point out to others exactly how and where those passages apply in the real world, through an established framework that people can see. You have accomplished the latter, but there is no correspondence to the former. Men such as Walid Shoebat consistently do both. Understand, I will be more than happy to submit to the ‘reality’ of what you have presented, only there appears to be a lack of real world events that prove your point. Prophecy isn’t happening in secret dear friend – neither will prophetic events accumulate in secret and then suddenly explode onto the scene, when Rome (or Europe) will finally take center stage. David Bay’s interpretive bent on scripture is a mixed with centuries old conspiracy theories, which have yet to be confirmed by even the most devoted conspiracy junkie… And I know a thing or two about conspiracy theories. So, I have not missed any “key points” – in fact, I was well aware of those points and purposely excluded them altogether. You have not disproved my article, but have simply thrown rocks at it. Prophetic scripture, coupled with a keen correlation to word events is on my side (or rather, I am on that side) I renounced my allegiance to David Bay and his ‘new world order’ fixation. I implore you to do the same.

Blessings to you as well 😉

          • edwitness

My intention is not to “throw rocks” at your post. The errors are indicators of the lack of consistency with the prophesies. Not that there is therefore nothing worth considering in your post. I find it all very interesting.
Like the 8th being of the SEVEN and not the SEVENTH. This means the 8th is of all 7 that went before. So the head wound referring to the Ottoman empire does not fit because the Ottoman empire was not comprised of all of the area the other 7 put together had.
My last 2 sentences were prime examples of “real world” events that are the fulfilling of the prophetic events the Bible describes. The “god of forces” the AC worships is a “strange”(alien) god that the Vatican and others are, according to them, in direct communication with presently.
It doesn’t matter whether you or I believe it. They do! We shall see what the pope has to say later this year in his speeches to Congress and the U.N. Which they worked out to coincide exactly with the final blood moon.
I like your stuff and Walid’s. It’s exciting to know that the Lord is coming soon and to see those things coming to pass that indicate just that.
But, I have to ask you. Do you believe that Erdogan just says things off the cuff when he speaks publicly? Or is it more than probable that his statements are more calculated? When a leader speaks publicly, they usually have a team of consultants that are like-minded that give some input into what and how they will present their speeches to the public. They have a common goal or theme they want to present, and work together to do just that. This by definition is a conspiracy. Right?
The map for the middle east has been drawn up by the west for some time now. Long before the “arab spring” happened. It could be that what you are seeing is THEIR plan coming to fruition. And Erdogan and others are just pawns. Real world events working out according to prophecy. It’s just another way to achieve the same thing. We will see.
            Blessings:-}

          • Disagreements are expected…but God is true. Until we all come into the unity of the faith my friend, keep watching.

          • edwitness

            Absolutely! And Amen!
            Blessings:-}

Yes, Erdogan does not have a lot of time left to complete what he wants to do. Like Hillary, it may seem this time or not at all.

Only four seats left until the End of the world begins. So close……..

    • LJW

Since you brought it to my attention, I looked up the #4, on page 84-85, in the book, Number in Scripture by E.W. Bullinger. It says, “in Nebuchadnezzr’s dream,” of the statue, “3 are metals and one is a mixture of metal and mire.” “The 4th day saw the material creation finished. A material completeness.” 4 seats to completeness for the New Ottoman Empire or its resurrection. I know the LORD speaks in code and symbols regarding his creation of everything and left them as clues for us. Everything has a purpose, a rhyme and a reason. Just found this interesting and am passing it on, if anyone has the book and wishes to look it up.

      • DeusLoVult

Thank you, my lady, for sharing your knowledge. 🙂

        • LJW

          You are very welcome!

    • EBH54

      What are the four seats?

      • DeusLoVult

Four more seats in parliament to win, for the new Caliphate to rise.

Trying to remember when life was good……I wasn’t born yet.

          • EBH54

Actually it is an admonition to pay close attention to this coming September, especially if Erdogan wins his 4 seats.

          • DeusLoVult

Oh…..failure on my part then……I was busy trying to re-….right, I already told you that.

          • andrea

I will keep you posted as I learn more but one of the sites on fb that i am in the person in charge of it something very evil is going to be happening soon. He said this before but he is going to reveal more because it is putting his life in danger. He said to pray but we won’t be able to change it and we need to pray that good will come from evil.

          • DeusLoVult

Thank you, my fine lady. 🙂

Bless your heart. I want to hug you right now.

Ah, but that reminds me of a quote from The Lord of the Rings, my lady. I know you are right. Also, perhaps you had forgotten, but I answered your question concerning Betty’s article here:

7 heads, 10 horns, 8th empire is Erdogans. Erdogan is Horn #8 as the AC — Islamic Jesus (———) is Horn #9 as the False Prophet — Satan is Horn #10, nah, probably not. Can’t reconcile the 10th horn with a person yet, unless it is Davutoglu. The 3 frogs, are AC, FP and Satan. Thought it would fit, but it does not look like it does. Have to wait and see. Walid, what, if I may ask, are your thoughts on the 10 horns, if you are willing to share?

    • ChiRho

Im not Walid, but the Bible says the 10 horns are 10 kings [or 10 leaders ] whose sole purpose is to give their power to the one [AC]. So it seems the 10 horns are leaders of nations or areas that will join with the one main ruler and basically give their allegence, and that of their countries to the main ruler. So likely every country or major territory who is run by the Muslim Brotherhood who does or will support Turkey as capital of the caliphate to come. Most of those would already be easy to guess. They may also likely be the main countries listed by name in other prophesies about the nations going against Israel.

      • LJW

Yes, I agree, I was trying to fit the 10 with the 7 and came up 3 horns to many. So I figured 3 were doubled up so to speak. I believe I am incorrect on this. I think I should separate the 7 from the 10 and regard it as past and future because I do not see Rome as a viable head or horn. I will continue to think this out, thank you, for your help. If you have anything further to add, I would be grateful.

        • Trevor

The three would be overthrown by the Antichrist, and Daniel lists those three.

          • OrthodoxKGC2015

Yes, when Egypt, North Africa, and the Sudan fall to Antichrist, if I recall. Three heads or rulers destroyed by Antichrist and replaced with Amirs to bring the total of his Satraps altogether up to Ten

          • Trevor

That, my friend, is the most likely and realistic scenario.

          • OrthodoxKGC2015

I am thinking I will see it in my lifetime, I must prepare for the struggle.

          • Trevor

No one is ever prepared for struggle.

          • OrthodoxKGC2015

I see your point; let’s put it this way; life is short and eternity is forever, I want God to come into my life to be with Him in eternity.

          • LJW

Thank you Trevor, please, which chapter of Daniel.

          • Trevor

            Daniel 11:43.

          • LJW

            Thank you!

        • ChiRho

Glad to help. i was honestly looking at this exact verse last night and telling my wife that one of the confusing things about Biblical prophesy is that some of them will cover events from the beginning of man on earth, to Jesus, to the end of mankind as we know it. And while doing this, some events mentioned occur right next to each other in a matter of days or years, and others are thousands of years apart while being written down right next to each other.

          • LJW

I know, wild isn’t it, I just love a good mystery! Rev. 12 jumps thousands of years and from Heaven to earth and then back again in a few short sentences. Thank GOD, knowledge is increasing so we can understand these prophecies and their meanings. Thank you so much for your help, I appreciate your time.

          • ChiRho

Yes, these kinds of things I usually read about five times in a row trying to fully grasp what is said. We are lucky we live in times where we can look back on history (and the internet) and realize so much of what was prophesied. No problem. I’m just another sinner interested in prophesy, history, and current events. Glad to see there are others also meditating on the Word and looking up.

          • LJW

I really enjoy the fact that there are some history fact finders on this site besides Walid and Ted. With the way history is rewritten these days and in the past I can be a bit skeptical at times. But, the LORD made sure the truth was recorded, like treasure, it is right there for our digging. And so we dig! Have a great day. GOD SPEED

          • ChiRho

If you’re actively digging, you’re already way ahead of the bumps on a log that surround us. God bless you.

          • LJW

lol, “bumps on a log”…….. never heard that one. Blessings!

          • ChiRho

“Sitting there like bumps on a log” -really? Maybe it’s Southern.

          • LJW

Okay, when you put the words, “sitting there” with it, now I recognize it. May great aunt used to say, that some times when she gets up in the morning, she feels like she has been drug through a knothole backwards or that her eyes felt like two burn holes in a blanket, I would lol every time. She was hilarious! 40 some years ago we drove to Oklahoma to see relatives my mother had not seen in 25 years. As we drove in my great aunts driveway whom I had never met, she was fixing her roof. She was 75 years at the time. She had built the homes she lived in throughout her life with the help of shiftless, no good men, as my mom called them and was an electrician by trade. An amazing person!

          • ChiRho

Those are funny. I love the old time metaphors. Everytime I go to where my folks grew up I try to remember some of the good ones I hear, but usually forget. I mostly just use the more common ones that more people know. Your great Aunt sounds pretty hardcore. Sounds like you come from good stock!

          • LJW

Thank you, I’d like to think so. She was a hoot, and didn’t seem to be afraid of anything. While we were visiting she was telling me about her neighbors who were far and few in between. She was telling me how the bar down the road broke into a brawl and a gun fight one night and showed me a bullet hole in the side of her house. We are a family of true Americans with a few scoundrels thrown in.

          • ChiRho

Having them few and far between is like having tall fences, makes for good neighbors. Bullet holes however, are not good.

          • OrthodoxKGC2015

I love old Okie talk, being from Oklahoma it helps:-). Stuff like; “Im busier than a one-legged man at a bu*t kicking contest”, lol

          • LJW

Yeah, just like that, it cracks me up. Though my mother was born in Chicago, her family and most of her relatives settled in the Texas and Oklahoma states where she was raised. She always warshed the clothes, not washed and called it an ice box instead of a refrigerator. As I grew up I corrected this okie talk, but we still call ourselves Oakballs. Never what to forget my roots, I am a proud Oakball.

          • OrthodoxKGC2015

My mom was originally from Chicago/the Midwest too, married my dad, the Southerner/Okie, lol. My Dad’s Dad was from Eastern Oklahoma and used to pronounce Milk; ‘Me-yalk’, and other regional peculiarities, lol

            Proud Okie too!

            OKGC

          • LJW

Sadly, an era gone by, We don’t hear those old sayings anymore. We are getting too sophisticated, new age-y and tech savvy for our own good. It is nice to reflect on the uniqueness of our families and our wonderful memories. We are in too big of a hurry!

          • OrthodoxKGC2015

One of the graces of living in the End Times, as we draw closer to the Second Coming, I think will be a ‘slowing down’ of the perception of modern time, in the places of refuge from Antichrist. A period of reflection and preparation, and enforced simplicity. I can imagine that an Middle East Antichrist, armed with nukes and having vast armies and control of a good deal of the easily recoverable oil in the world, will not be willing to support the lifestyles of those nations which resist his tyranny.

Drawing on those memories and living those simpler lifestyles and following the examples of our ancestors, will save our lives perhaps, and maybe help us save our souls too.

          • LJW

A time of soul searching, AMEN and AMEN!

          • LJW

Praise the LORD for the internet, we are just seconds away from the other side of the world, able to look up any scripture in a moment. I am driven to read and search the WORD, this site, and many of the great links everyone posts. I am finding it difficult to get anything done around here. That’s it! I have got to set limitation on myself and use shoebat.com as a reward for completing my tasks. Thankfully, it is an addiction I can live with!

          • ChiRho

            Haha true.

      • EBH54

And the ten horns which you saw are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast – Revelation 17:12

As for the beast that was and is not, it is an eighth but it belongs to the seven, and it goes to destruction.

I think the 8th empire will last a short while, 7 years or less.
A very short time compared to the others.

        • ChiRho

It seems the 7th is referred to as “only remaining a little while,” which is hard to understand as even the Ottoman empire was ~500 years. Perhaps the context is a reassurance that this terrible rule will not be forever, as opposed to meaning short in comparison with the others.

  • edwitness

The eighth is of the seven, not the seventh. Therefore it can not be a healing of the seventh kingdom. Right? It represents all of those who went before it.

And this 7th kingdom continues for a short space. Right? So seeing how the Ottoman empire was the culmination of the reign of Islam, how does 1300 years fit this “short space” idea? That’s as long as the Roman empire. The longest reigning empire ever. Just sayin’.
    Blessings:-}

    • LJW

The seventh died in 1924, and will rise again to become the eighth, new and improved. A “short space” 1300 to 1400 years, to the LORDS thinking is certainly not your or my idea of a short space I agree, but I concede to HIS interpretation. The head wound is not Erdogan’s head. It is the Empire that received the head wound and it is rising again with the help of Erdogan. Am I talking in circles, get back with me and tell me what you think. GOD SPEED

      • edwitness

No you are not talking in circles.
In my comment I showed that the 8th is of the seven, not of the seventh. In other words the 8th is of all of the 7 that went before. Not just the 7th one. Rev.17:11
And a short space is in the context of the 6 empires that have reigned over the earth. Not all of eternity. And 1300 years would make it the longest reigning empire so far. Not a short space.
But, it could be that the head wound is a fall of the 7th empire. It’s just not clear to me who this empire is.
        Blessings:-}

    • Ignacio

In the Bible a horn falls when its king falls. The horn of the Roman Empire didn’t fall until Constantinople fell in 1453, conquered by the Ottoman Empire. The Ottoman empire is the seventh head, not Islam (although Islam IS the religion of the antichriist) or the caliphates that preceded the Ottoman Empire. And the Ottoman Empire fell in 1923 when it was partitioned and the figure of the caliph disappeared. That is 470 years for the seventh head. Considerably less than the years the Roman Empire, the sixth head, had.

      • edwitness

Still, could that be considered a short space? Maybe?

        Blessings:-}

  • Trevor

Two things – Erdogan really like to flash “Number Four” doesn’t he? Search through the site for articles that Walid and Ted wrote exposing the whole thing behind number four. Hmm…the four horns that came up from the goat after the death of Alexander the Great…hmm..

The most important issue right now is the ever pesky Sykes-Picot that is hindering Erdogan’s caliphate. Thankfully, though, Erdogan have his junkyard dogs in ISIS doing the dirty work of removing nationalism and overthrowing secular government so that Turkey can waltz in and claim to be the peacemaker. The world would, in Chamberlain’s fashion, claim, “PEACE IN OUR TIMES!” While this happening, Christians should be on the knees praying they can be counted worthy to escape the horror that is about to be unleashed. If we think what ISIS are doing is bad, wait until the revival of the Ottoman Empire is underway, it will not be pretty.

The Rabia sign. Four horns. Nice catch, Trevor. I love it when we can all exchange ideas and insight.

And killed King Alexander Karajordjevic in France in 1934 because he stood in the way of the World War they wanted to fight. It’s okay, Serbia will get payback for all the betrayals of the 20th century.

I think it is possible he has some Jewish blood in him just like Hitler did. It might be worth a shot lol!

      • DeusLoVult

It would be hilarious if it worked, and why wouldn’t it? Every time something bad happens, whether a cup falls on the floor and breaks, or the harvest falls up short, Muslims blame the Jews. I’m glad you agree anyhow, my lady. Fair thee well, and under God’s protection.

That does sound like an okay idea, except that I think I read somewhere that in addition to being related to Muhammad, the Mahdi is also expected to have ‘Israelite blood’. Also, there are Jewish converts to Islam, I expect many more of them in the future.

      • DeusLoVult

We’ll also tell everyone he’s secretly a Zionist, plotting to take over the world through a Jewish banking alliance. That’ll fool them. Who even bothers to check for sources anymore? Brian Williams can tell you that.

I see Obama being the Antichrist and Erdogan being the Prophet. Obama implementing laws to force people to take the mark and worship the Beast and Erdogan implementing the religion of the Muslim religion. And then the Beast will be Satan himself which I believe will be a hologram that will be required to be worshiped. Satan needs the Antichrist and the Prophet to manifest his spirit into the Beast to be worshiped. But that’s just my opinion on what is happening.
