Sounds too difficult to believe. Were these images from the demonstrations in Egypt carried out by the Muslim Brotherhood photoshopped, or was this a propaganda piece by the Egyptian government, a conspiracy theory …? But it was covered all throughout Egyptian media and is worthy of reporting.
Several major Egyptian media outlets covered the story (examine the links for yourself here, here, here and here just to name a few), and it wasn’t just the plain flag of Israel that was shown being carried, but the flag of Israel with a photo of the Muslim Brotherhood leader, Mohamed Morsi, who served as the fifth President of Egypt sitting inside the star of David.
As far as coverage, for example, Yom7, the popular Egyptian media covered the story. The paper stated:
“Members of the Muslim Brotherhood terror organization have raised the flag of Israel during their march in Matariyya on Friday amidst clashes between the Muslim Brotherhood is security forces. Yom7 published the photos of members of the group firing shot guns during their clashes with police.”
Klamalyom covered the story by stating:
“All over again, the name of Matariyya comes back again to the news, and that is after members of the Muslim Brotherhood marched after Friday prayers at Matariyya from the Mosque of Tawhid, The Mosque of Abdul Rahman, and the Mosque of Haqq lifting up the flag of Israel and symbols of Rabia and photos of the ousted President Mohamed Morsi …”
While we will continue to investigate the reason for this phenomenon, such behavior is not set to happen until Armageddon when forces against Israel will loose first, then all of Egypt will speak the language of Canaan:
“In that day five cities in Egypt will speak the language of Canaan and swear allegiance to the LORD Almighty. One of them will be called the City of the Sun.” (Isaiah 19:18)
Prior to this, Egypt will fracture into different states, the nile will wither, and Egypt will go through a civil war. In Isaiah 19 it states:
I will stir up Egyptian against Egyptian—brother will fight against brother, neighbor against neighbor, city against city, kingdom against kingdom. (Isaiah 19:2)
Ever wonder why when the Bible speaks regarding Egypt, it states that the civil war in Egypt will be “kingdom against kingdom”? Egypt must fracture into different states.
And if one thinks this is far-fetched, Al-Jazeera today published an article on Youssef Nada, the major Muslim Brotherhood financial strategist, warning that Egypt will collapse into different mini-states as in Syria, Iraq, Libya and Yemen, exactly what the Bible predicted:
“Youssef Nada is calling on all loyal Egyptians to rescue Egypt from turning into a failed state or mini-states fighting against each other” (see also link here)
The fear made by Nada is exactly what the Bible stated will happen. To see the headlines today expressing exactly what was predicted by Isaiah, the Jewish prophet, written during the eighth century BC, is quite astonishing. Looking at all of this forces us to draw only two conclusions; either these prophets of Israel were ‘perfect guessers’, or there is a God who “declares the end from the beginning” (Isaiah 46:10) and who is the only one true God; the God of Israel.
I rest my case.
