For Putin I Love And Obama I Hated. Russia’s Putin Jet Fighters Are Pulverizing Muslim Terrorists. Putin Wins Obama Loses.

By Walid Shoebat

For Putin I love and Obama I hated! I love Russia which has finally and publicly confirmed the beginning of Russian air operations in Syria. Russian airstrikes ‘hit ISIS targets in Syria’, says Moscow while US officials say Russian jets hit non-ISIS areas near Homs.

So who is lying and who is telling the truth?

Answer: who cares. Name me one politician who kept the Ten Commandments and name me one decent person who does not want to rid the world of Islamists regardless to under what umbrella they are covering themselves with. Let it hail hell on them all from above and from below.

However, Putin did not lie and the U.S. did not lie either. For years Putin said that he will make sure that Assad remains in power. So he hit Homs — Talbiseh, Rastan; Hama — Latamneh, Kafr Zita; Latakia — Ghmam, Deir Hana … all Muslim rebel areas that oppose Assad.

And neither did the U.S. lie: Putin did not hit ISIS, but honestly who cares? The Russians are targeting Muslims who want a global Caliphate after they depose Assad, while the U.S. targets Muslims who want a global Caliphate now: ISIS. Let the U.S. and Russia kill them all and have Allah sort them out, in hell.

Sure Russia lied, they are not targeting ISIS. They are targeting Jaysh al-Fatah, the rebel group that poses the greatest threat to Latakia, the regime’s heartland and location of the Russian controlled port of Tartous.

And how many Americans even know what Jaysh al-Fateh even means? Perhaps if they do, they will begin to wake up as to why the U.S. is not hitting these. Jaysh al-Fateh means “the Army of Conquest”. Fateh comes from the Quran (to open the nations for the conquest of Allah). You see I read the squiggly Arabic below from the Quran speaking of when Allah had Muhammad opened (conquer) Mecca for Allah. Even when a man conquers a woman sexually, in Islam they say “Fatah-ha” (he opened her, he conquered her). All these stupid women who compare us to Islam for our solid Christian ethics at Shoebat.com should go to these Muslim countries and compare while they live there, not here behind their keyboards.

1

Indeed, We have given you, [O Muhammad], a clear conquest … And [that] Allah may aid you with a mighty victory … And [that] He may punish the hypocrite men and hypocrite women, and the polytheist men and polytheist women – those who assume about Allah an assumption of evil nature. Upon them is a misfortune of evil nature; and Allah has become angry with them and has cursed them and prepared for them Hell, and evil it is as a destination.

So why is the U.S. complaining about Russia for bombarding these broad alliance of hardline Islamist groups, which includes both Jabhat al-Nusra and Ahrar al-Sham?

What is most embarrassing for the U.S. is that these seized the very weapons from U.S.-supplied so-called secular rebels as a result of America’s botched train-and-supply program. The Russians are basically trying to correct Obama’s stupid mistakes. America can’t complain because it’s al Qaeda and that’s who this war is supposed to be against. It is for this reason I say For Putin I loved and Obama I hated!

Putin finally shut Obama up (conquered him) when he met with Putin in his own U.N. speech, edged back from his previous strident calls for Assad to step down, saying that “realism dictates that compromise is required,” and that this should mean “a managed transition” rather than Assad’s immediate departure.

Putin-Obama-400x225

Shoebat.com last week predicted Russia’s goals:

So as it seems, the evidence is clear, the military buildup has nothing to do with fighting ISIS. Simply put, the two major military superpowers, Russia and the U.S. appear to be at it again; both are actively flexing their muscles through their proxies where the U.S. supports the rebels while Russia supports the Syrian Army. With Russia moving its chips, dare any Sunni extremists and/or CIA-trained “freedom fighters” or Turkey intent on seizing control of the country will now need to go through Russia and Iran. The third players, Turkey, Saudi Arabia including the Gulf states fear Iran’s encroachments and the loss of their sphere of influence on the Sunni Muslim world. This is what will become the crux of the whole matter. So to answer our original question is that all the players have a use for ISIS. To completely destroy ISIS would prevent all the excuses for one party or the other to wield its global dominance. The sooner the sheep put this equation in their head, the sooner they will begin to understand Armageddon which is a world conflict centered in the Middle East. ISIS is useful for the U.S. as well as for Russia and Turkey even as far as Japan which has major use for ISIS where ISIS is the excuse for Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe’s re-interpretation of the Japanese constitution in regards to weapons  allowing Japan to also play a stronger role in global affairs.

Putin is entering the early stages of shifting powers and then is acting quickly and decisively. That is what Putin did in Ukraine and that is what he is doing now in Syria.

syria-france-airstrikes-conflict_ecp02_52948905

In addition, how could anyone complain. The events in Syria is what is causing the stream of refugees that is causing a crisis in Europe adding serious economic and political strains. Putin is brilliant since he is now perceived as acting in Europe’s immediate vital interests.

To understand more about Russia read: Are Gog And Magog Marching On Israel As We See Russia Deploying Its Military Might In Syria?

Putin would like to ease and lift the sanctions imposed on Russia after its annexation of Crimea and proxy war in eastern Ukraine including the nosedive of oil prices.original

By forming an intelligence alliance with Syria, Iran and Iraq, Putin presents the U.S. with an impossible choice to either join in forcing the U.S. to recognize the current Syrian regime or be seen as stranded on moral high ground.

Putin’s Russia has its own struggles with Islam. It’s capital has 2,000,000 Muslims mostly are guest workers from former Soviet Republics. Hurting Russia is not wise. There are hundreds of thousands of whom are now returning home to their countries because the sanctions imposed on Russia have hurt the economy and this means a rise of the Caliphate ideology in the southern Islamic republics (C.I.S Republics) that are Muslim poised to ally with Turkey.

There are also Chechen secessionist groups in southern Russia that are swearing allegiance to ISIS and the Islamic Caliphate.

So as it seems, and for the right cause, the wily fox Putin outmaneuvered Obama by deploying troops, planes and tanks to buttress the regime of President Bashar al-Assad. Americans will say “if only we had a president who was so daring, tough and  smart.”

Assad with a smile and his pretty western wife

Yet there are some really stupid analysts in the U.S. who think otherwise. Thomas Friedman argues against Putin and for Obama stating:

Putin stupidly went into Syria looking for a cheap sugar high to show his people that Russia is still a world power. Well, now he’s up a tree. Obama and John Kerry should just leave him up there for a month — him and Assad, fighting ISIS alone — and watch him become public enemy No. 1 in the Sunni Muslim world. “Yo, Vladimir, how’s that working for you?”

Strange. One can take this same stupid argument and go like this:

Obama stupidly went into Syria looking for a cheap sugar high to show his people that U.S. is still a world power. Well, now he’s up a tree. Putin should just leave him up there for a month — him without Assad, fighting ISIS alone — and watch him become public enemy No. 1 in the Sunni Muslim world. “Yo, Obama, how’s that working for you?”

Liberals are these sick folks who think that we cannot think for ourselves and that they are superior so they think that they must think for us. What Friedman does not understand is that real peaceful Arabs who hate ISIS in the Middle East are nationalistic and mostly want Assad, not an ISIS style Caliphate or the rebels style future Caliphate who want to use the U.S. to oust Assad. Both are a Caliphate agenda and both are just as dangerous. What is also dangerous is the epidemic in America where a virus called “stupidity” infects many.

The propped up media analysts are no match for street smarts. What can I say? For Putin I loved and Friedman I also hated!

Someone now will lecture me on “hate” or my “name calling”. Jesus was into name calling the day He called some Pharisees “white-wash sepulchers … dead tombs … ” and while His father called some heretics “She lusted after lovers with genitals as large as a donkey’s and emissions like those of a horse.” (Ezekiel 23:20) Praise God and His Word for they are righteous and true.

In the meanwhile boost up your moral on some good solid Russian and Syrian songs of love:

  • I support Mr. Putin’s efforts, 100%.

    • I wish everyone was as “mad” as you 😉

    • Doc

Apparently Putin is doing the Lord’s work fighting Muslims…for now. My own bias…I know…but I do not trust the man. He is installing surface-to-air missiles in Syria. Which Muslim terrorist group has an air force? Russia/Soviet Union have always wanted a warm water port. That’s one of the reasons they invaded Afghanistan. I know it’s not 1979, but I will reserve judgement on Mr. Putin until we see the full fruits of his military actions. If they benefit the world as well as Russia, fine and dandy. If it’s an attempt at re-expanding the Soviet empire…not so dandy. With regard to foreign affairs, I will admit that “I don’t know enough to know what I don’t know,” but I do not trust Mr. Putin. Apparently the Russians notified Israel before launching their airstrikes, and anything that puts egg on Mr. Obama’s face is welcome, but I will refrain from praising Mr. Putin too much until all of this develops more.

      • Paladin

“Which Muslim terrorist group has an air force?”

Not a group, but the correct question is which muslim nation in the area that has an air force equivalent of Italy, England and Germany combined and has the power to disrupt the Middle East, threaten Europe, Israel and Russia ? The answer : TURKEY

        • Doc

So you think the Russians are protecting themselves from the Turkish air force?

          • Paladin

Yes, and from NATO and the US that support them. Remember NATO have missiles bases in Turkey and Poland facing Russia.

Also there is several extra bonus, that is geopolitical presence of Russia in Syria not only will keep Turkey-NATO incheck it will send a strong message to Islamic State that a new crusader is in town, and he will not play by the same rules. Another benefit is for the Christians in Syria and the area around it, with Assad in power and Russia in that place, they will finally have a true superpower ally to protect them.

For Israel, with a Christian Russia at its north eastern border at least now they have a buffer zone to keep Turkey and any terror group from obtaining strategic place on the Syrian-Israel border near the Golan Heights, were one of the largest fresh water resource in the region.

            https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golan_Heights

Also there is currently the largest water project currently held in Israel called the National Water Carrier of Israel…which transfer water from Sea of Galilee to the south.

            Here : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Water_Carrier_of_Israel

Many things are at stake here, so who is better at moving the chess pieces? Russia or America? The answer : Russia.

          • Doc

America under Obama is certainly ineffective in the MidEast.

  • Smith

The irony is that, even though America and Russia think they are fighting each other, in reality they and we are doing do God’s will because he is the one in charge.

    • That’s true, but we are not to just sit like useless potatoes. God expects us to participate, not to just wait on Him to save us.

      • Smith

God gave you a brain, use it. It is more potent than you realize.

You can wage the war against the enemy on many fronts, not just with rifles and Armored Vehicles, remember Satan and his Muslim allies use EVERYTHING for war, and that is why he is steps ahead.

Propaganda, idealism, nationalism, cultural identitiy, all of these and more are tools of war. Muslims know this and that’s why they use them, they even use the womb.

Yes we must fight harder, but we must be smarter. Brains always defeat brawn.

        • That is precisely what I was alluding to…

        • DeusLoVult

Your brain is impotent, if there are no extremities to follow it’s command. You couldn’t even grab a sandwich. One complements the other, we need both.

          • Smith

Ha..remember that next time you go hungry 😉

        • Julie

I think more than brains…look at the history of Islam…once it sets in…you cannot remove it….only devout Latin Catholic countries could.

          • Smith

I would disagree about the Catholics, the Eastern Orthodox church did a fine job and bore thr brunt of the Islamic invasions.

          • Julie

Yes..it did, as well as under communism….the Latin Church withstood the onslaught by the Turks…God knows why….but with hardly any faith left there, 40% of the German priests no longer believe in the Divine Presence….and the Cardinal Marx crowd coming forward along with some of the Dutch….it is all a bad sign….great evil will be coming now.

          • Smith

True, but I also disagree about the 40 percent, as that implies that they spoke to every German priest in Germany and all of them were honest. That’s why I don’t believe polls when they say “35 percent of Americans…..” first question that should come up is did they ask you? If not then it’s not accurate.
Also we need to be positive in our thought process. Germany will wake up as will all of Europe. Angela Merkel is very much hated because it is her third and last term so she is being like Obama and doing as much damage as she can. This will only strengthen her opponents and shift the balance of power in our favor.

          • Julie

            Well….that is what was estimated….pretty objective source…I read…and then go on….wish I had kept it…

But thanks for your perspective…I have a very dear friend who is German and is worried about everything there…known her since i was a teen…pray for all of them.

What I understand it is oil for immigration…don’t let them come, then you don’t get the oil…..

          • Smith

Thanks. I’m more of a positive person that most people think. Believe it or not even though Germany gave into Nazism, they did eventually repent as a nation and became Israel’s most staunch supporter for many years.
Even though Theodore Shoebat makes good points about the Reformation altering Germany’s mindset, I personally believe it was the evolutionary teachings that did far more damage to both Protestant and Catholic alike, but that’s another story.

          • Julie

            Your position…reflects the Holy Spirit.

In the meantime, the poll was academic, objective.

The poll was taken in one particular diocese and in that particular diocese, it was not named considering, that 40% of the clergy no longer believed in the divine presence of the Eucharist.

I learned from a priest in a religious community that his prior lost faith in Christ in the Eucharist…and noted the prior used abstract art work for his liturgies.

Luther did make positive and worthwhile propositions…better homilies and lay participation — and song…but Catholics are more into adoration at Mass, I myself am more a contemplatve…I wouldn’t be here if I were not, and in the Catholic setting, there have been alot of complaints in the last 40 years of the priest being a showman at the altar, telling trivial jokes, the choir more like entertainers up at front next to the altar and detracting from the solemnity of the Mass…Christ the Lamb of God atonement for sin.

Problem here is American anti Catholic protestants…we are rife with over 34k derivatives of mainline denominations who are rational and unitive….spout their venom and insults every time the Church or pope is mentioned…you can go down any street and see multiple churches.

Christianity is the greatest voting block in the USA…but completely worthless due to extreme individualism in our culture, and the lack of Christian unity.

          • Woody

Jesus indicated that it would easy to find His Church–look for the most maligned. (as He was the most maligned so shall His Church be)

          • Julie

            Thanks…amen to that!

          • Julie

Yes…but it is time the Catholic Church call out the false prophets in a more direct way….for their own salvation.

Every word we utter we will be held accountable. A Catholic friend told me these types of ‘christians’ do not know the commandment of issues revolving around bearing false witness…they are really an emotional based faction within Christianity….that has lost all its Christian roots…

I have to temper myself now in how much time to even deal with them…because …may be because of my feminine nature…such puts me quickly to sensing as well the spirit of abuse and even it morphing into a form of cursing our faith.

        BINGO!!! Thank you Rudy.

    • Lidia

How could the U.S. be doing God’s work if they are supporting the bad guys?Maybe with a new president, things might change.

      • Smith

When the Babylonians conquered the Israelites, even though they burned, raped, looted and murdered thousands and sent Isreal into captivity, and even though it was horrible, God’s will was being done. Just because things look bad does not mean the Lord is not in control, He always is.

        • Tzione

          Great movie about this…Jeremiah… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s-7R3Gr5Qcg

          • Smith

Thanks! I think I’ll watch it tonight

        • Lidia

I know God is in control but the U.S. is still on the wrong side. This could turn out to be really ugly for both Russia and the U.S.
As long as the U.S. backs away and lets Russia do their job, we will be alright. Could the U.S. do that? We will see in the next few weeks.

          • Smith

Just because Russia has some troops on the ground does not mean we will be all right, that is very dangerous thinking.
And know this, in the Middle East alliances change quickly, the only way we will be all right is being proactive and using our minds to outfox our enemies.

          • Lidia

I’m not saying that Russia will save the day but the U.S. has been supplying weapons to the Sunni rebels. How is that smart? This is how ISIS started. It branched off of these rebels. And now you have Christian persecution, over 320,000 Syrians dead and a huge Muslim refugee crisis in Europe. The whole Middle East is destabilized because of this Arab Spring that the U.S. supported. Again how are we outfoxing our enemies?

          • Smith

True, weaponizing these people led to far too many errors, that I know.

Also, when I say “we” I mean the Christians, we as Christ’s followers, need to out fox our enemies. We already have the Lord on our side, so we will win.

          • Lidia

Ok, I understand what you are saying now but it puts Christians like you and I in danger of being nuked by Russia if we make the wrong move.

          • Julie

The US Navy plane brought down over Hainan Island…only had so many minutes to destroy its espionage equipment….China brought the plane down, and studied it for several days before returning it….

Big gain for China….and now they have huge launch pad of nuclear submarines that are not detected by our radar.

          • Smith

I would not be afraid of Russia and America using nukes on each other, as neither side is eager to destroy but just wants to expand its power.

Iran however would have no problem using nukes on their enemies, and I believe wholeheartedly that Saudi Arabia will get hit first. They are so hated it’s scary.

          • Julie

Arab Spring was really the beginning of the launch of the pale horse bringing death and destruction.

      • SwampLife2002

Who are the bad guys! They are all insane over there!

        • Smith

I honestly think there are more insane people over here

          • SwampLife2002

Well why don’t you go live there! : )

          • Smith

Because I love Apple Pie 😉

        • Lidia

Yes, the U.S. government supplied weapons to the insane over there!

          • SwampLife2002

Yes, because Obummer is one of them!

  • Something that people don’t understand about Bashar al-Assad and his father, Hafez. Do people ever bother to think why the Assads are so vicious to the Sunnis in Syria? It might have something to do with them being Alawite. They are a Shia minority group, with a lot of Christian elements to them. They were brutalized horribly by the mainline groups until they had enough, and managed to turn the tables on these cretins. Imagine enduring the constant rapes of your daughters. I would want to butcher these people as well if I had to witness this over and over again.

At least under the Assads, Christians managed to do okay. Putin is right to do business with Bashar. U.S. policy is utterly vile in this case.

    • Trevor

It’s somewhat my understanding the Alawite sect are seen as heretical.

      • They are, which adds a heavy angle.

        • Trevor

I think Assad is done for. Having Russia in Syria basically became an exit strategy for him.

          • AnthonyM

Putin has said it should be “a managed transition” rather than Assad’s immediate departure. He doesn’t want Assad to go out like Gaddafi. Putin has sense. Obama, not so much.

          • Trevor

Agreed. I think Syria is about to change, and the map is gonna need to be updated.

          • There may be truth in this, Trevor. We’ll have to see how things play out, but Russia may be his only way out.

          • Trevor

With some reports coming out of the Middle East with Iran jockeying itself as a power broker, I suspect we will see Syria fractured. As you said, we need to see how things play out.

    • 1Bobby8

Exactly Rudy, can a “nice guy” really control these animals.

      • Precisely. You need a thug to control thugs. Until the West realizes that, you’ll end up with lots of Syrias and Libyas and Iraqs.

        • 1Bobby8

You would think they would learn from their mistakes. Unless they have other nefarious reasons not to.

It’s Obama that Needs to Get on Board in Syria.. With Russa, and China….

The problem is, Obama doesn’t have a solution and never did. Putin does.

Once again, Obama utopian ideology gets in the way of reality.

It’s astonishing how this guy can continue to make the same mistakes over and over again and never learn. Instead, he uses his bully pulpit at the U.N. to arrogantly preach his agenda of self-righteousness.

Obama just doesn’t understand that his policies in the Middle East are causing chaos and anarchy. Yes, Bashar Assad is a bad guy. So was Libya’s Mo-mar Qaddafi. But it was their country, their people, not ours.

Obama’s interference and support of Islamic terrorist rebel factions to overthrow these dictators have left these nations in utter chaos and despair with anarchy from tribal warlords to rule…

  • Julie

Thanks, Walid, for all your work.

Only that right now Russia is not attacking ISIS…just like the Turks pulled the rug when the Americans got there, and began attacking the Kurds. The Russians right now are hitting far away from ISIS…and attacking the opposition to the Syrian dictator…

There is no stable good opposition to the leader of S yria…looks like a lose/lose situation.

And many American GI’s do not want to return to Iraq to fight for their people because they laid down their lives for them…and their sacrifice meant nothing. Only ones to suffer were the Christians.

    • Thanks Julie for being a good nurse and taking care of all my patients 😉

      • Julie

        LOL………….

  • Julie

That is what is happening today…ISIS is far away to the east of the country.

It is a mess…no viable leadership. Just have another Sadam there to keep what is left in order….so much destruction…it isn’t just Islam…it is the lawless mindset of these people, been that way for thousands and thousands of years.

  • Indian Christian Crusader

The so called “US trained forces” are the ones that ended up becoming ISIS. No one asked USA to interfere or meddle into Syria. Assad was ruling there quietly for a long time, until this so called Muslim brotherhood sponsored “Arab Spring” mania took over. Syrians can sort Syrian government issues. The russian initiative is first to get rid of those who challenge the existing Syrian government, strengthen the government and then expand the government’s spread back into entire Syria. That is the right strategy. No one wants this so called “US trained Rebel forces”, non-state actors. They need to get out. Under Assad, Christians lived more or less ok, Assad was a secular leader, it is the “born again” Muslim freaks that are causing this trouble.

    • Doc

Now apparently wacko John McCain wants to arm the rebels so they can shoot down Russian planes. Can you say “World War III?”

I know that George Bush was not part of any church, and would meet privately with his own fellowship in prayer and Scripture. I stood with the Pope John Paul II not to go to Iraq…as it would lead to tragic consequences.

I know George Bush wanted to help the Iraqis, bring democracy there, remember many women wearing their Muslim clothing going in to vote and raising their inked finger in pride….

But the region is so tribal…and esp Afghanistan…recall hearing an officer speak of his experience there…

      Very difficult region….

Thanks, Russia do target ISIS. Take that you imbecilic left leaning liberal media!! Go Russia!!

  • Michael Powell

I don’t believe Yeshua called named for the sake of calling names. He often had a message that didn’t end with that. For whitewashed tombs, righteousness is an inward thing that works its way out. Desire inwardly clean bones, so to speak. It’s not what you digest; it’s what comes out of you.

papa, changed the name to fit america. (schmidt} are you talking about the old soviet union or russia. rusins are russians. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/59aa19482e69512d0bc0345df9b3a6952d26d111d057fe4b67b8860f92d4feb1.jpg

You have a hard time with the sovereignty of God when you DON’T believe in the sovereignty of the Church and the Pope. Whatever they have bound has been bound in heaven, and you will be judged on how you submitted to what they have declared as binding.

  • Paladin

So you believe in GOD but not in his disciples whom he has given authority in form of the CHURCH?
Strange? I thought you are a Christian? Or are you one of the followers of Luther ,Calvin and Zwingli, the Heretic Trio?

Following the Russian moves in Syria, many western media and NGO’s start campaigning against Russia by “exposing”–> putting false news online and on TVs This Russian-hating liberals need to be stopped!! Their propaganda machine, from the media to various NGO’s , are hurting the good works that Russia is doing in that region.
Somebody need to sue the media for their lies.

It’s now my opinion that the Kurds will be fine. They are divinely appointed by God to destroy the Harlot of Babylon.

  • Trevor

That would be a mistake. The Kurds are divinely appointed by God to destroy the Harlot of Babylon.

Russia is wanting to draw on oil at North Pole…believe Shell is pulling out from drilling in North Pole as it had no results.

    • Jimi Belton

BTW, How did that very secret super secret, our best and most intelligent pilot-less spy drone land on a road in Iran a few years back….I promise you 0`buzz and Iran go way back…he is the worst , most traitorest sob in USA history….He should be tried as the the Rosenbergs were and hung out to dry as they were…

      • Julie

Yes….I remember the drone landing there….and his female assistant is of Iranian descent.

Surely with Iranian troops, we cannot say they are there to fight ISIS…perhaps only because of its Wahhabi connection…but Syria to be more the platform to attack Israel.

And why Israel? Ironic…that the nephew of Mohammed protested the Syrian Umayyid bad habit of using Mohammed to make land grabs as what happened to Jerusalem….

The so called ‘rock of Abraham’…making up the claim Mohammed ascended to heaven there…when in fact it was made reference to between the mosques of Medina and Mecca…and if Mohammed had ascended to heaven…he would have rose up next to St. Mary Major of Justinian Catholic Church (It was byzantine, but in those days the Church was simply called he ekklesia katolika…Greek, meaning Universal Church….for both East and Western patriarch Christian Churches…..

What I mean is that the Shi’ites of Iran claim they are descendants of Mohammed and thus get their facts straight and don’t make land claims like the Umayyids…so don’t understand why Iran/Persia has such a contempt for Israel as they are supposed to have better documented history of Mohammed and his teachings…and would no…Islam has no claim to Israel…..

  • Julie

A Russian was knocking the American GI’s during WWII..and yes they now find out 80% of them visited brothels in Europe.

I saw a documentary where the Red Army invaded Germany and raped 1.5 million German women.

Only one person holds the Keys to the Kingdom – that is the Father over the House.

  • Julie LaBrecque

Then join the Coptic Church – they have a Pope too.

  • Good grief. More calculators roaming round about and running to and fro.

You do have to look at life in Moscow,…particularly, look at St. Petersburg…paranoia….but I saw this on a CNN food documentary….

I have to wait and see as I grew up in the Cold War….

one and the same as set up by God (Jesus),

  • Woody

More heresyl Catholics follow “Judge not lest ye be judged.”
Only Protestants follow “once saved always saved” even though St Paul (as holy as he was) did not believe in this heresy:

“We work out our salvation in “fear and trembling.” Someone who believes he is already saved would have NO fears.

  • Woody

Being KGB tells me all I need to know.

  • Julie LaBrecque

Where am I not being consistent? There is one and only one line of succession from Peter.

    • Woody

Correct; Pope Francis is in a direct line from St Peter and Francis is Numero 266…the Early Church Father, Eusebius who wrote “The History of the Christian Church (written in the 2-300’s) has in his appendix the first 19 Popes all of who died for Christ as Martyrs; what is neat the appendix also lists the Roman Emperor they aligned with at the time of their Papacy. My favorite is Pope Fabian (#19) who wandered into a Papal Election and a “Dove” landed on his head; being the symbol of the Holy Spirit he was elected immediately; later as all the others died a Martyr.

      • Julie LaBrecque

Why folks want to argue in the face of history is beyond me.

        • Woody

It is called “ignorance” and an honest protestant on here told be they are discouraged from reading the early church Fathers (which is really history); but their pastors say “just come and ask us if you have a question” so the errors are passed on generation to generation. Notice the wonderful ministers we are getting into Jesus’ Church lately they all have one thing in common–they have read the church fathers, like Scott Hahn who once hated the Catholic Church, as he said , “Goodness I am in the wrong church.”

    • Mel Scharf

Yes apparently peter’s line divided 4 or 5 times so far, Tell me which one should I follow again and how would a regenerated individual be lead to the catholic church whom in my 50 years of life on this earth I have never been approached in PERSON by a Catholic to evangelize me and lead me into truth but by Protestants Mormons Jehovah witnesses (too much) even Islam I have seen then testify. But no gospel witness from you all believers so called. How would anyone ever be saved or was salvation just for catholic children and not the world of lost sinners?
The sad truth is YOU know I am right and you will not even admit it… if its true that there is only one church that a person can be saved by attending and partaking of the Body of Christ being re-sacrificed every minute of every day around the world then you all should hang your heads VERY LOW you are a shame of a witness and may God have mercy on this His servant for not PREACHING to this world. Instead your Pope goes around preaching Global warming and you say I am at fault for not submitting to that? I am sure he will win many to this new Gospel though.

  • Julie

Yes…so I am reserved…but hear the Pentagon doesn’t even know really what is happening in Syria…it is like our country is gone…we are at God’s mercy….and the Russians are adamant…I am hearing an objective well educated Muslim stating they are truly targeting ISIS…as well as Al Qaeda..I remember the news saying here in USA…it is getting very messy as we are now supporting Al Qaeda and Al Nusra Front…against Assad…who protected minorities…yes he did wrong to gas the Kurds….but Russia is indeed hitting ISIS…their command center last I heard….

    • Woody

What you don’t hear about is the 28,000 women in our military raped two years ago; have not seen this years totals; so much so the Pentagon is change their name to the Pantygon.

      • Julie

So much rape on our campuses….horrible….

  • Julie LaBrecque

Do you not understand that only one person at one time is the Father over the house and holds the Keys to the Kingdom? Peter’s office wasn’t vacant until Peter died – Ignatius was appointed by Peter while Peter was alive before he went to Rome where he was martyred. Read St. Ignatius letters – you might learn a thing or two from him. The succession of Antioch is from Peter, but they were subordinate to the Bishop of Rome. Linus was the first successor of Peter. Read the Church Fathers – they leave NO doubt that the Church is headquartered in Rome and the leader is the Bishop of Rome. Show me one protestant that has any heritage from this line or any other – you can’t.

  • Julie LaBrecque

“The scribes and Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat; Therefore, do and observe all things whatsoever they tell you, but do not follow their example. For they preach but they do not practice. They tie up heavy burdens hard to carry and lay them on peoples’ shoulders but they will not lift a finger to move them.” Matt 23:1-4.” Were the people required to do and observe what they were told? Yes – how can you miss this? Bind and loose is the same as open and shut, go to Jewish website for definition, it is far more than forgiving or not forgiving sins. Those who bind and loose make doctrinal declarations, make juridical decisions, decide who is allowed in and who is expelled – go to a Jewish website for confirmation.

    • Woody

YES< "WHATSOEVER you BIND on earth I WILL BIND in heaven; WHATSOEVER you LOOSE on earth I WILL LOOSE in heaven."

The term "WHATSOEVER" means ALL in ALL languages.

      • Julie LaBrecque

They don’t want the truth because it scares them.

        • Woody

Yes, they would have to follow Christ (God) instead of Luther who is man. Look, in 3 1/2 years no one has given me the name of the founder of the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church….

  • Julie LaBrecque

Succession only in the sense that Peter ordained – appointed – Ignatius as Bishop of Antioch – not in the sense that he succeeded him as Head of the Universal Church, you are trying hard to assert a falsehood. Can you tell me WHO would appoint Peter as the first Bishop of Rome? Jesus already appointed Peter as the Father over the House, the whole house, the whole flock, including other Apostles and Bishops. Linus was the first successor of Peter.

  • Steve Smith

We do, it’s the Bogoroditsa. Mother of God.
