Erdogan Enters Istanbul As Triumphant Sultan Proving So Far He Is Still THE BEST CANDIDATE FOR BEING THE ANTICHRIST. This is it. Saints, embrace yourselves keeping vigilant with oil in your lamps. We have just entered an era of darkness where only the Woman who stomps this crescent moon will stop the red-dragon devil (Revelation 12). (Shoebat Sunday Special)

By Walid Shoebat (Shoebat Sunday Special)

Erdogan’s Message after the failed attempted coup was kind of simple: “Who is like the Beast. Who can make ‘a coup’ against him?”

Just as the world was bamboozled to think that Erdogan of Turkey was out, even sending me messages that ‘your Antichrist theory is now debunked’, hours later, a surprise reveals the total opposite, Erdogan is a cat of ‘ten’ and not just ‘nine lives’. He could very likely also be the man who leads the beastly kingdom with ten horns.

What we see in Turkey is a point of no return.

Whether one believes this coup is another Balyoz (Sledgehammer), a planned coup published in Taraf in 2010 to overthrow the Justice and Development Party (AK Party) government, or if this was a genuine coup that went bust, Erdogan succeeded in gearing Turkey to the point of no return.

This is it. Saints, listen, ponder, contemplate, heed instruction. It is time to be wise: embrace yourselves keeping vigilant with oil in your lamps. We have just entered an era of darkness where only the Woman who stomps this crescent moon will stop the red-dragon devil (Revelation 12).

This is just in from Reuters. The overhauling of everything in Turkey has just begun:

Turkish authorities today on Saturday removed 2,745 judges from duty following the so-called attempted coup by a military faction overnight, broadcaster NTV reported, citing a decision by the High Council of Judges and Prosectors (HSYK). Five members of HSYK, Turkey’s highest judiciary board, were also removed, state-run Anadolu Agency reported.

And with the re-organization of the military … its all over.

It was rather an attempt to mimmic Muhammad, the prophet of Islam returning triumphant to Mecca with the crowds singing “Tala’a Al-Badr A’layna” (here arises the moon).

And while western prophecy analysts busy themselves about these unfulfilled ‘blood moons’ here comes this other ‘moon’ to fulfill the very prophecies they so much are awaiting. Here we will walk you through a story unfolding before your very eyes O sleepy westerner.

So you know nothing about this red blood-moon rising?

Here let me help all who slumber. The “moon” of Islam will soon “turn into blood” and this is the “red-dragon” rising from Turkey.

Erdogan recently prepared for making himself “the moon” (Badr) of Islam.

Tala’l Badr (here arises the moon) is the most significant chant in Islam. Watch Erdogan sucking in the rays of being moon-Mahdi while looking like the ancient Sultans of the Ottomans:

Tala ‘al Badru ‘Alayna

The white moon rose over us

From the valley of Wada

It has become obligatory upon us to be grateful

Whenever an invoker invokes Allah

You are the sun, you are the dawn (morning star)

You are the full moon

You are light upon light

You are the light of the sky

O my beloved, O Messenger!

With the failed coup, Erdogan mimics Muhammad with this very similar story of Muhammad.

You still do not understand? Let me explain it simply.

This moon, before he is stomped by the Woman of Revelation 12 must arise. The traditional Islamic chant where the Ansar (residents of Madinah) sang to the Islamic prophet Muhammad upon his arrival to welcome him after he sought refuge there after being forced to leave his hometown of Mecca. It is the story from the Quran it mimics Erdogan’s plight yesterday:

“Bismillah (In the Name of Allah), the Beneficent, the Merciful And when the unbelievers were devising against thee [Muhammad], to confine thee, or slay thee, or to expel thee, and were devising, and Allah was devising; and Allah is the greatest of all deceivers” (Qur’an 8:30)

Erdogan was about to be slain or expelled just like Muhammad the prophet of Islam. Yet he came back triumphant instead.

And after this was all over, as it was for Muhammad, there is always a scapegoat, Muhammad’s was his uncle Abu Jahl, for Erdogan it was his x-close ally, Fethullah Gulen whom he blamed during his speeches yesterday.

Gulen became Erdogan’s Abu Jahl. During Erdogan’s speech to the crowds waving his Rabi’a hand, the symbol of the Muslim Brotherhood, he vowed revenge from the man in Pennsylvania Fethullah Gulen.

It was rather a parallel of Muhammad’s story when an attempted coup was devised against him by Quraysh when the Makkans plot to kill the Prophet, imprison Him or expel Him from Makkah. Yesterday’s story goes that there was an attempt to expel Erdogan, even claiming that helicopters bombed Erdogan’s hotel in Marmaris where he was staying as the coup started, but miraculously, like Muhammad, in Jabal Thawr and Laylat al-Mabit where Muhammad was already gone and like Ali who risked his life so Muhammad can escape death, here comes the Turkish people risking their lives for Erdogan chanting the very “Bismillah” we told you of decades ago:

It seems rather orchestrated to make the miracle from Allah that is needed to catapult Erdogan as another Sultan Fatih, Second Muhammad and Mahdi.

The story mimics prophet Muhammad’s struggle. Here we have President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who was on vacation holidaying on the coast when the coup was launched, flew into Istanbul before dawn on Saturday exactly at a time for his victory speech on TV appearing among a crowd of supporters outside the airport chanting “Allahu Akbar” and “Bismillah”.

Erdogan is now no longer the master of media censorship, but is the hero of freedom as we watch CNN Turk headquarters where coup soldiers taking over CNN were being arrested by police:

And like Hitler, the righteous soldiers were captured and humiliated:

But as Erdogan said that the coup was a blessing, Erdogan as he, last month, began to replace the judiciary system and now completed his mission he vowed to ‘cleanse’ the military system from top to bottom, the military will now have Erdogan loyalists, not just in courts but also in all the armed forces. This including him changing the constitution (set times and set laws). It is the classic Hitler’s Reichstag where Hitler suspended civil liberties in order to counter the ruthless confrontation of the Communist Party of Germany and now Erdogan also must confront the Gulenists. Erdogan returned to Istanbul a few hours after the coup began as a returning victorious Sultan vowing that the organizers would face the “highest price” and urged his supporters to take to the streets. In a blow to the coup’s organizers, President Obama and NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg expressed support for Turkey’s “democratically elected government” and institutions.

Now that all this is done, who in the world can make a better candidate for being the Antichrist or someone who ushers him than Erdogan?

Where are my challengers now?

Perhaps its time I simply repeat my last Sunday Special including others which few of the wise read it. What an occasion for anyone who did not read just seven days before we wrote it for the whole world to read. Let the wise heed the following instructions:

How could it be that in just few weeks Turkey was able to normalize its relations with Russia, and soon Egypt, and even Israel and then after just yesterday, fire all the judges, and revamp the constitution and also the second most powerful army in the world?

Where are my detractors, the five virgins without oil now busying themselves with the wrong ‘blood moons’? This is the time for the other five virgins to be vigil. Soon, in a few years, we will see the abomination of desolation.

It was only just few months ago that Turkey was on the verge of war with Russia while for few years now Turkey was cyber rattling with Egypt and Syria’s dictators and Israel. Is this the “by peace he will deceive many” spoken of in scripture and Erdogan is ‘The Antichrist’ and not just ‘an Antichrist’ and from hence forth we count seven years to park on 2023 the year Turkey said it will triumph?

The circle is nearly completed to announce this man as not just an Antichrist, but perhaps the Antichrist. What stops me is simply one verse in Daniel: if and when the Muslims pledge allegiance to Erdogan to become Sultan for seven years than this is it. Begin the count.

But even this missing link is getting closer. I remind when Qaradawi uttered words that could only come out of the pages of John’s Revelations. The Tunisian Telegraph shared his statement which summarized it all:

Who can make war with Sultan Recep Tayyip Erdogan? He became the Muslim world’s defender fighting in the name of Islam and the Koran and Sharia. He speaks standing firm in the faces of tyrants to tell them  NO!”

Perhaps this should ring a bell: “Who is like unto the beast? Who is able to make war with him?”

The only thing missing is the number ‘7 years’. Qaradawi announced Turkey “the capital of the Muslim world” all with fiery speeches from Hamas’ Khaled Mashal to songs about a one world Muslim Caliphate centered in Turkey.

Al-Arabiya a main Arabic news media correctly summed it all up during one conference:

The “Thank you Turkey” conference at the end of April which was observed by Brotherhood leaders from all Arab and Islamic nations effected in raising the pillar of the Muslim Brotherhood dream. It fulfilled Erdogan’s dreams to return the Caliphate which is a dear goal of Erdogan. It accompanied the necessity to change the constitution towards a presidential system and the slow minimization from the Ataturkian secularism”

Yesterday’s fiasco is a victory for the Muslim Brotherhood which now wields more than just the power to stir millions of Muslims towards Erdogan. A new study reveals that over half the leaders of all 49 Muslim terror organizations are members of the Muslim Brotherhood. From Iraq to Somalia and from Afghanistan to Syria, this is true, regardless if the terror entity was ISIS, Al-Qaeda or Al-Nusra … 51% are members of the Muslim Brotherhood  and 65% were released from prison.

Besides the need for global Jihadists, Erdogan needs the Muslim Brotherhood, for without it he will never gain the scholarly support which represents the moral and legal justification from Sharia to gain the support that Erdogan needs to become Caliph.

Erdogan was angered and let Gulen and Davutoğlu go. He saw Davutoğlu’s actions against the Muslim Brotherhood as the last straw that broke the camel’s back.

Now the Muslim Brotherhood and with Obama’s blessing yesterday standing against the coup, Erdogan has the second most powerful army in the world behind them with NATO power as well in his grip. The Antichrist does not hold the most powerful army in the world, but is close to it. Scriptures never mandated he does. In Ezekiel 28 it is clear that the most powerful nations will eventually come against him and destroy his splendor.

Erdogan by his ‘palace coup’ and now by yesterday’s coup is completely reshaping his political system into an Islamic Caliphate.

Can anyone deny that Erdogan already has everything in place for a Caliphate? He has a Fatwa-giver, Hayrettin Karaman and also the Diyanet which was already established in 1924 “to execute the works concerning the beliefs, worship, and ethics of Islam”?

Did not Erdogan re-activate these and was the pillar in spreading mosques throughout the globe, especially the sides of the north (Isaiah 14)?

Was it not Karaman who declared his new design for the Caliphate saying that Erdogan will soon become the Caliph for all Muslims? Here are his exact words:

“During the debate on the presidential system, here is what everyone must do so while taking into account the direction of the world’s national interest and the future of the country and not focus on the party or a particular person. What this [presidential system] looks like is the Islamic caliphate system in terms of its mechanism. In this system the people choose the leader,  the Prince, and then all will pledge the Bay’ah [allegiance] and then the chosen  president appoints the high government bureaucracy and he cannot interfere in the judiciary where the Committee will audit legislation independent of the president. ” Hayrettin Karaman

Karaman’s words were only missing this ‘7 years’. It had the Bay’at (allegiance).

Is Karaman, Turkey’s Fatwa giver, simply ignorant of how Sharia works or how a Caliph is appointed or how a Caliphate constitution is designed and is carried out?

Isn’t Bay’at, as Islam calls it, which is “giving allegiance,” is the hallmark of the Antichrist as John declared: “but the fatal wound was healed! The whole world marveled at this miracle and gave allegiance to the beast” (Revelation 13:3).

Was not Erdogan wounded just yesterday and arose from his wound triumphant?

Does this face not qualify to be “king of fierce countenance” (Daniel 8:23)?

How aout this one for demonic possession?

Instead of Davutoğlu, Erdogan will appoint his Muslim Vizier (prince) where Erdogan becomes Ameer al-Mumineen (أمير المؤمنين) “Prince of the Faithful”.

“The Prince,” as Karaman stated is exactly what Daniel 9:26 predicted. He will be the “prince of the power of the air” (Eph 2:2).

I have for years told the world that Erdogan will defy all expectations, as a cat with nine lives. No one believed me. So what are the chances here, that when I was told it was the end of his party when the outcome in the elections last year were lousy to only have Erdogan return when he did not win a majority in the election before last? Yet the last elections proved he returned victorious with this leopard having more than nine lives.

I told the world “just wait”. Erdogan then refused to enter into a coalition government as Ahmet Davutoğlu asked. Erdogan instead decided to enter an early election in which he obtained the majority he wanted.

My claims were then vindicated. But Erdogan remained the second man as Davutoğlu was Prime Minister. But now this Erdogan defied most expectations and as Daniel foretold “took the power by intrigue”.

Erdogan then turned on Davutoğlu when the latter finally sent a letter threatening the very Muslim Brotherhood which Erdogan is member of. And before that Davutoğlu wanted to lift the parliamentary immunity of 80 corrupt deputies in the ruling party as a prelude to bringing them to trial on charges of corruption. Many of these deputes were Erdogan’s allies, even Erdogan himself was mired in corruption.

These issues spell out what really happened.

Erdogan strongly objected because of whom a large proportion of the 80 were close to him. And then came the step by Davutoğlu to undermine the Muslim Brotherhood, it was the spark of the crisis of confidence between the two men where Erdogan finally struck the last nail in Davutoğlu’s coffin.

The next two years will be more Bible Prophecies sparking out of the pages of Daniel and John. Mark my words.

New years on 2016 we said that the next two years will be crucial. Erdogan’s new gamble begins and within 18 months we will see his third round of elections. And with his influence on Europe including his control in the Muslim world, we have us the best candidate for an Antichrist Beast.

A decade or so ago we wrote insisting that Turkey’s future will face the following:

“He [Antichrist] will speak against the Most High and oppress the saints and try to change the set times and the laws.” (Daniel 7:25) In this passage, we find an important clue; for by his actions, we can assess his origin. Not knowing how to deal with this piece of the puzzle, many students of Bible prophecy have speculated that the Antichrist will try to change cosmic laws. But the text infers no such thing. It simply says that he will desire to change two things: times (the accepted world calendar) and laws. If we simply take the text at its face value, we find a simple warning that the Antichrist will attempt to change the times (calendar), legal systems, and constitutions. (GWOT, page 85)

Isn’t what we said years ago now is exactly happening with the Turkish constitution, the cabinet, the judges, the military … everything?

And why we insisted that Erdogan will rise from his end was simple. The “he” in Daniel 11 (and no matter where one puts the break from Antiochus to Antichrist) there is simply no break, whoever changes these laws is the man.

The man who changes these “set laws” will be the same “he” (the same man) who continues to the end. People put breaks where there are none, yet they fail to see where the breaks do exist. Pay close attention:

“[Daniel says] He [the angel] gave me this explanation: ‘The fourth beast is a fourth kingdom that will appear on earth. It will be different from all the other kingdoms and will devour the whole earth, trampling it down and crushing it. The ten horns are ten kings who will come from this kingdom. After them another king will arise, different from the earlier ones; he will subdue three kings. He will speak against the Most High and oppress his holy people and try to change the set times and the laws. The holy people will be delivered into his hands for a time (1 year), times (2 years) and half a time (1/2 year).”

The “ten horns” of the fourth beast is the seven Muslim Caliphates represented through the succession of 10 kings from the Rashidun Caliphate to the Ottoman where the empire continued for 1260 lunar years from the sixth century until Islam was finally bruised in the 19th century. Now after them comes this one: the eleventh.

If our interpretation is correct and Erdogan is the man, he is the 11th king, the little horn who comes “after them”. He is the little horn because his span is only seven years from when he is inaugurated as Caliph where he commences to enter Europe by his flood (of immigrants) “proceeding out of the dragon’s mouth”.

This will be the greatest turmoil effecting mostly Europe.

Indeed, this is the greatest time to live. To me it is like when Moses asked God to speak to the people where the people were frightened yet Moses thrived.

In the Middle East, the secularists are all crying out that Erdogan is rebuilding the Ottoman “Caliphate” and is “different” than his predecessors. “After them another king will arise, different from the earlier ones”. Erdogan by initially commingling western democracy with Sufi Islam while the sleepy West fails to monitor our Arabic headlines which is perceived by the sleepy West as ‘moderate Islam’.

From Erdogan’s perspective Davutoğlu and Gulen were simply not Muslim Brotherhood enough, men who wanted to exercise their legitimate authority over Erdogan which he was legally entitled. These were obstacles just as it was when he ousted Abdullah Gul before them.

These were Abu Jahls as it was for Muhammad.

Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced that there is no turning back from a presidential system in his address during a mass opening ceremony, a day after Prime Minister Davutoğlu announced he would leave his post following the rift with Erdoğan.

“At this point, there is no turning back. Everybody should accept this by now,” Erdoğan said during a speech at the inauguration ceremony in Istanbul’s Eyüp district on May 6th.

Through his palace, and by his coups, the Muslim Brotherhood through Erdogan has now catapulted to becoming the ultimate ruler of the most powerful Muslim country in the world.

Things are moving just a little faster than I had previously thought and the symphony begins:

Erdogan’s diplomacy is proven to be on par with the devil. He has outsmarted Russia. Turkey satisfied just enough of Russia’s conditions to please Moscow, but did not submit to the concessions that would have made Ankara look weak. Moscow has since lifted the tourism ban and removed its sanctions against Turkey.

Moscow and Ankara have long sought reconciliation, one that would not hurt the image of either country. Erdoğan’s letter to Putin was shrewd. Moscow perceives and presents it as an apology while Ankara avoids reputational costs. Now Turkey needs to restore economic relations with Russia and impose itself on the Syrian peace process and on Egypt, the headquarters of the Muslim Brotherhood.

And in Israel which is oblivious to this red-dragon coming, the High Court of Justice rejected three petitions that aimed to strike down the government’s rapprochement agreement with Ankara.

The deal also paved the way for Ankara to send an aid ship carrying 11,000 tons of supplies for the people living in the Gaza Strip. The ship arrived at Israel’s Ashdod port.

Ibrahim Kalin, Erdogan’s devoted adviser said Turkey would continue to support the right of Palestinians to seek an independent state and end the Israeli occupation and by that “he divides the land for gain”.

“Turkey will continue to have relations with all Palestinian groups and help all Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza. By normalizing relations with Israel, Turkey will also have a higher chance to contribute to the peace process and prevent unnecessary tensions and loss of life.”

“This holds true for the highly critical and sensitive situation in and around Masjid al-Aqsa in Jerusalem,” he said.

While Turkey normalizes relations with Israel, this red-dragon eyes Jerusalem as the “apple of the eye of every Muslim” as Erdogan once put it. This red-dragon also succeeded in making tourism deals with Israel. Soon you will see him sending and opening the flood gates of Muslim pilgrims to Jerusalem (Revelation 12, as we have seen in Europe) making Jerusalem an extension of the Haj they call Umra.

In the near future we will see Muslim demand to allow them entry to Jerusalem from all around the world. While Israel welcomes this economically the repercussions will only be known, we predict, when they create havoc in the city.

Having bettered relations with Israel and Russia to restore stability in the region, Turkey is now even eyeing reconciliation with Egypt should the coup government in Cairo seize the opportunity for a thaw with Ankara.

Erdogan also wants to be “wiser than Daniel” by duping Al-Sisi to save the Muslim Brotherhood leadership from execution and will become Islam’s version of the biblical prophet Daniel (see Daniel 2:14), that when Al-Sisi, the commander of Egypt, had gone out to put to death the wise men of Egypt (the Muslim Brotherhood), Erdogan “spoke to him with wisdom and tact” after successfully interpreting Al-Sisi’s dream wanting to be recognized as Pharaoh of Egypt …

Perhaps this is why God says to the Antichrist “are you wiser than Daniel ..”

Erdogan isis kiekeboe

Antichrist must do two things: 1) start from nothing 2) encompass the surrounding nations unto himself.

Both points are written in scripture which are rarely considered by prophecy analysts. He will lead the Muslim world and scriptures insist on this in Habakuk “he gathers all nations unto himself”. As Turkey Pulse suggests:

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan used the recent Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) summit as a grandstanding opportunity to pitch his qualifications to lead the Islamic world.

These were very similar quotes we wrote two decades ago and now they are no longer speculation “to lead the Islamic world”. As we have been predicting these reconciliations early in January and now its here:

What Caliph Al-Baghdadi wanted to gain through terrorism, Erdogan of Turkey was able to gain ‘by peace’ where he is “deceiving many”. Erdogan is also now leading the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (O.I.C) considered to be the Muslim ‘U.N’ coming second to the United Nations in size and global power. But thats not all. As this happens, the cunning Erdogan was able to woo Saudi Arabia to arrange the Turkey-Egypt talks setting the framework for a peace deal between Turkey and Egypt to be finalized before April where Al-Sisi hands over the leadership of the O.I.C to Erdogan. Keep in mind, that the O.I.C represents the association of 56 Islamic states promoting Muslim solidarity in economic, social, and political affairs. But the devil is not wiser than Daniel who tells us: “And after the league is made with him he shall act deceitfully, for he shall come up and become strong with a small number of people.” (Daniel 11:23)

This “league” is a united Muslim states and the O.I.C plays a major role in this affair. Remember the Scriptures: “Cush, and Put, and Lud [Turkey], and all Arabia, and Libya, and the people of the land that is in league, shall fall with them by the sword.” (Ezekiel 30:5)

Don’t say that we never told you so, way ahead of time, that you may consider the state of your spiritual affairs by becoming one of the five virgins with oil in their lamps before the coming of the Bridegroom.

OIC headquarters

Founded in 1969 consisting of 57 member states, the O.I.C is “the collective voice of the Muslim world“. It was set up as result of the collapse of the Ottoman Empire and the Caliphate after World War I left a vacuum for a pan-Islamic institution. Losing the Six-Day War in 1967 provided the incentive needed where leaders of Muslim nations met in Rabat to establish the OIC on 25 September 1969.

Having established all this, Erdogan soon wants to be Caliph which Islamically encompasses Pharaoh, his pyramids and then “He will gain control of the treasures of gold and silver and all the riches of Egypt, with [its neighbors] the Libyans and Cushites [Sudan] following at his footsteps.” (Daniel 11:43)

After all, even God addresses the Antichrist asking him “are you wiser than Daniel:

“ … In the pride of your heart you say, “I am a god; I sit on the throne of a god in the heart of the seas.” But you are a mere mortal and not a god, though you think you are as wise as a god. Are you wiser than Daniel? … (Ezekiel 28:1-3)

With the Muslim Brotherhood in Erdogan’s left hand, and now the O.I.C in his right hand, normalization with Israel, Egypt and Russia, changing the constitution, judiciary and military … the caliphate is within site.

With Obama’s presidency (which aided Turkey’s rise tremendously) winding down, Erdogan must move quickly and we witnessed Obama’s support for Erdogan just yesterday. This whole Obama affair stems from the pit of darkness. The devil can also make prophecy by setting up the stage through influences in dark and high places. Davutoğlu of Turkey did exactly that when he came with a prophetic vision, in one speech by Davutoğlu entitled “Vision 2023” at the official archives of the Republic of Turkey’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, quoted his demonically inspired prophecy he made in 2002 where he predicted that a “black president” will soon sit in the White House who would be “a globalist”, and he declared later that President Obama was that man. The prediction by Davutoglu can easily be verified via the links provided above. And as it seems, there is a timeframe and a deadline set: 2023, seven years from now.

Obama who was part of the 2023 Vision (prophecy) has a short time and things must move quick.

“Whatever we lost between 1911 and 1923, whatever lands we withdrew from, we shall once again meet our brothers in those lands between 2011 to 2023,” Davutoğlu said in 2012, referring to the World War I era and the collapse of the Ottoman Empire. “We shall break the mould shaped for us by Sykes-Picot,” he said a year later.

This gives us seven years of watching the wound get healed, so patience is virtue.

Davutoğlu said that Obama was key to a new world order since he believed that Obama’s “global approach” entitled him to be called “Marcus Aurelieus” because he succeeded in establishing Erdogan’s new Roman Empire.

And we always blame Obama. However, the things that can be accomplished by the devil through American ignorant voters can be immense and has huge repercussion to what Americans choose for a Caesar. Americans who voted for Obama need to blame themselves for aiding and abetting this red-dragon by being virgins with no oil in their lamps. They aided in fulfilling what scriptures predicted, not of the second coming of Jesus, but of the Antichrist who precedes the Second Coming.

And its not just like the White House failed to participate with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to silence the sons of God. It had been pushing for criminalizing criticism of Islam for years, as far back as 1999 to make illegal “defamation of religions” led by Clinton during the “Istanbul Process”, kicked off officially in the city of its namesake, little more than one year prior to the Benghazi attacks. The agenda was intended to give a facelift to UN Resolution 16/18, which was adopted earlier that year by the Human Rights Council. With Clinton running for elections, Americans can continue aiding and abetting Lucifer.

July 15, 2011: Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, OIC Secretary-General Ekmeleddin İhsanoğlu, and Turkey Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu (L to R).

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, OIC Secretary-General Ekmeleddin İhsanoğlu, and Turkey Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu (L to R). Hillary Clinton attended and Co-chaired this event with then Secretary General of the OIC – Ekmeleddin İhsanoğlu – and Foreign Minister Davutoğlu.

And if Obama was the architect of global chaos, Davutoğlu was used by Erdogan as the architect of a dramatic shift in Ankara’s regional policy. After the AKP came to power in 2002, he spearheaded the call to revive the Ottoman Empire. Even later, the year he became foreign minister in 2009, Davutoğlu said “We are the new Ottomans” while Erdogan told Muslims what God told Zechariah that Jerusalem “is the apple of my eye,” Erdogan told the O.I.C that “Jerusalem is the apple of the eye of every Muslim” and went to desecrate it by his presence slowly removing Jordan’s influence on the holy sites and increasing Ottoman influence on that very spot.

Now with Turkey’s control over the O.I.C and even Jerusalem the caliphate is within sight.

We have maintained, that ISIS will never produce the ultimate Caliphate. We have warned that the next few years, this revival will be completed, and not only ISIS will be encompassed under the wing of the Ottomans, but Ottoman influence will dictate Muslim policy worldwide.

But besides encompassing ISIS and leading the O.I.C, the main umbrella organization for the Sunni Muslim world, Turkey is mothering the Muslim Brotherhood which will soon unite under Turkey giving legitimacy to Erdogan of what was a dream by Al-Baghdadi. This is especially true, that the spiritual head of the Muslim Brotherhood of Egypt, Sheikh Yusuf Qaradawi declared that:

Turkey is the Caliphate State, and Istanbul is its capital … Turkey unites religion and the world, Arab (Wahhabist Sunnis) and Persian (Shiites), Asia and Africa, and it (the Caliphate) should be based upon this nation (Turkey)”.

Erdogan with the O.I.C can fulfill Habakuk that Antichrist “gathers all nations unto himself” and from the AKP he fits the picture Daniel predicted that Antichrist begins from “a small number of people”.

In June 2015, after Erdogan’s defeat, precisely predicted this defeat will reverse and the current victory outcome was concluded from observing certain Scriptural hints “And after the league is made with him he shall act deceitfully, for he shall come up and become strong with a small number of people” (Daniel 11:23). With the O.I.C he will gather the rest of the Muslim nations unto himself as Habakuk predicted:

“the Proud Man” who “enlarged his desires as hell, and is as death, and cannot be satisfied, but gathereth unto him all nations, and heapeth unto him all peoples” (2:5).

What is needed are two components: 1) “when they say peace and safety” 2) “And he will enter into a binding and irrevocable covenant with the many for one week (seven years)”.

It is these that will usher in the desecration of God’s holy places. Turkey just did the call to the prayer at Hagia Sophia days ago. But this is not enough, they must stop the sacrifice and grain offering (communion) after three years from the covenant which we might witness soon or seven years from now. And I insist “we might” this is not for sure.

With the O.I.C in his hands, what we must see to be done is a countdown beginning from the “Bay’at”, as Islam calls it, which is “giving allegiance,” is the hallmark of the Antichrist as John declared: “but the fatal wound was healed! The whole world marveled at this miracle and gave allegiance to the beast” (Revelation 13:3).

What we see Erdogan doing in his own government, military and judicial system and with Russia, Israel and Egypt is “He caused deceit to prosper (Daniel 8:25) and possibly “by peace he deceived many”. He is after all a “king of fierce countenance” (Daniel 8:23).”

The devil is at it again

Erdogan denies Father and Son (1 John 2:22) and “does not honor the God of his fathers” as Turkey at one point in time was Christian. Erdogan also does “not honor the desire of women” (Daniel 11:37), prohibiting them entry in the government and promoting the wearing of the hijab.

But these alone are not enough to qualify, there are many who fit such descriptions. However, when we add the following issues, which do not fit any other man, we can say that this man is the best candidate so far.

Here they are:

Erdogan is hailed in Turkey not only as “Sultan” but as a “prophet” “healer” and one who can even change the laws of the universe: “Spring has come to Sanliurfa. Both nature and history are rising up to greet our prime minister,” says Finance Minister Mehmet Simsek on Erdogan’s visit to the southeastern province of Sanliurfa on March 9th. Yet the Finance Minister did not face any sanctions from Erdogan for declaration of divinity and neither did AKP lawmaker Fevai Aslan who on January 16th when he said: “Erdogan is a leader who gathers all of Allah’s qualities in himself”. Neither did the Deputy Health Minister Agah Kafkas was reprimanded when on May 19, 2013 he said: “To do what Erdogan does is sunna”. “Sunna” which the Deputy Health Minister was referring to is the obedience to Muhammad. In other words, to obey Erdogan is to obey the Prophet himself! And neither was AKP lawmaker Huseyin Sahin on July 20, 2011 was reprimanded by Erdogan for saying: “Believe me, even touching our prime minister is worship to me.”

These are major figures and Erdogan is acting as if he is Christ who did not denounce worshiping Him and Erdogan did not denounce them for worshiping him.

And if one thinks that it’s only the followers who elevate Erdogan to prophet, healer, master of the universe and nature, or deity, think again. One news media from Istanbul, wrote this regarding Edrogan himself, firing anyone who denounces him being God.

Even when we insisted that Turkey will declare “Jalal al-Din Rumi. We concluded this crucial issue since Sufi Islam adheres to a theology called Fana in which man can declare himself to being God” Erdogan shortly after our prediction elevated Rumi in order to allow for such theology:

He traveled to the Central Anatolian province in order to attend the Şeb-i Aruz (Night of Union) ceremony to commemorate the 741st anniversary of the death of Jalaladdin Rumi (Mevlana) in the evening.

Erdogan praised Rumi:

“If we have a homeland and a flag today, and if we live in an independent country, all fraternally, this is thanks to believers like Mevlana, Ahmed Yesevi [Rumi], as well as our generals such as Saladin (of Ayyub dynasty) and Alparslan (of Seljuk dynasty),” Erdogan said.

Rumi is crucial for Erdogan’s dream of deity.

Then we have countless statements made by Erdogan where he hones in on Jerusalem. He is healing the fatal wound of an empire that ruled and was the greatest menace (a beast is a menace to God’s people) to the Church (Revelation 13). Billboards can be seen all around Istanbul. The posters read:

“Yeniden Dirilis, Yeniden Yukselis,” meaning, “Resurrection Again, Rising Again.”

The fatal wound, or demise of the Ottoman Empire happened in 1923 and Erdogan intends for his resurrection of the Ottoman Empire to be done by 2023:

Therefore it is no coincidence to observe that some of the followers of Erdoğan believe he is a caliph who seeks to resurrect the Islamic Caliphate and the Ottoman Empire. It is no coincidence that Erdoğan’s target of “The Great Turkey” is intended to be completed in 2023

Erdogan, the ruler of Turkey, this flag of the red dragon with the two horns of the crescent, issued “a flood” (Revelation 12) into Europe where the heart of Christendom was in scenes that were unprecedented in history where Germany and the E.U came to Erdogan begging to stop this flood.

Therefore, it will be a matter of time when the woman who gave birth to the man child (Christ) stomps this rising moon, this crescent under her feet (Revelation 11-12).

Erdogan as he causes havoc in Syria is getting “bad news from the north” (Russia, Daniel 11:44) and desires to also rule Iraq (ancient Babylon) setting up encampments there. He is getting ready to qualify as “King of Babylon” (Isaiah 14:4, a title given to Antichrist).

So is there a man in this world anyone can name who fits all this besides Erdogan?

So what we must do is simply wait. Will Erdogan ask for the Bay’at (allegiance)?

This is the crucial issue and without it we cannot for sure say he is the man.

But as for me:

I stand so that I don’t stop in front of
who knows whose doors.
And again I check out if I’m awake or I dream,
whether I introspect or fantasize,
what the devil is wrong with me, who knows…
And I look for a sign, a trace of suffering, is this the land
he used to walk over?
Did they really kill him, the one who was chosen, who was taken out of the desert, oh, God?
Why do I stand petrified and have no such force?
Do I not believe enough or do I misunderstand?
Where do these doubts come from,
Where does this fear come from?
Will he open to me, will he take me in?
And the one I come from will not allow,
the one who loved me will not abandon me alone in the middle of the thick forest and hands that grab me.
Oh, God, Lord, praise be thee…

Like a cedar I grew tall, like a cypress exalted
Like a palm tree in the garden, a rosebush in Engedi.
Like precious myrrh I gave forth perfume, a fragrant cane in Jericho.
Like a fair olive tree near the deep blue sea,
Like a marble mountain anchored in the middle of a field.
Like a strong fortress, protected by Thee.
Like a voice of prophets, solemn, holy.
To cry out of the depths, to sing in the desert.
Like a stone to roll downhill into abyss.
Like a mountain stream to rush to Thee.
To run to Thee, to bring forth glory to Thee.
(translated by Gavrilo Došen)

Awesome song, listen to it here, the voices of your eastern brethren cries out:

On a side note, we must be as candles that burn and melt in order to be a light to the world. In life always remember, Christians who are persecuted resemble Christ’s body “For I was hungry and you gave Me food …” So please consider the serious issue on Christian persecution, which will increase as we see the falling away unfolds before our very eyes. We are (Rescue Christians) who simply do what the label says “rescue Christians”. To see an example out of the thousands we rescue, click here, and listen to the amazing testimonies first hand on how you can help and make a difference, now in this life and for eternity.
“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal”. CONSIDER DONATING TO RESCUE CHRISTIANS

“We Have Just Entered An Era Of Darkness Where Only The Woman Who Stomps This Crescent Moon Will Stop The Red-Dragon Devil (Revelation 12)” — Good wording that does not offend catholics or protestants and perhaps in some sense unites them !

    • DANTEcrossingtheRiverStyx

Most protestants that I know are completely clueless about these things because they refuse to look at bible prophesy from a middle eastern mindset.

      • Michael Lochmoeller

A lot don’t look at Bible prophesy at all, unfortunately. And the ones that do, are doing so from a western lens. That was me for years. Its only in recent months that I have changed my perspective, with much credit due to Walid Shoebat and also Joel Richardson.

      • Julie

Shows the need for the universality of faith, not our locale.

      • Brenda

This is why now I feel more blessed than cursed to have had a family not involved in those churches, Although I was always sad and felt that I was missing out on something, Now I am happy I wasn’t too ingrained with the wrong ideas anyhow in that way, I missed out but at the same time I’m not so blind that I refuse to listen to anything else. I just have to focus on thank god I wasn’t in one of those churches now blending with Islam, Maybe missing out was being saved from something like that for all I know really.

          Psalm 90:4 Douay-Rheims 1899 American Edition (DRA)
He will overshadow thee with his shoulders: and under his wings thou shalt trust.

May you always remain “under his wings”

          • DANTEcrossingtheRiverStyx

          • Michael Lochmoeller

I have looked at a few passages from the Catholic Douay Rheims and I respect it, it reads a lot like the King James Bible that I love. I personally prefer the older translations to the modern ones, more formal, more majestic 🙂

      • Flame blue

“Most Protestants are clueless because they refuse to look at the Bible with a middle eastern mindset ” . Most Christians Roman Catholic as well as Protestant don’t look at the Bible with a middle eastern mind set, l say! I hope it is not compulsory to look at the Bible with a middle eastern mindset, because how one does that without being middle eastern must be a tad tricky! When you say they refuse to do it, seems a rather strong condemnation of them, like condemning an Italian because he refuses to play football, he can but he refuses.

        • DANTEcrossingtheRiverStyx

Good point. I had in mind the small subset of my friends and family whom I have given Walid’s book God’s War on Terror and yet they continue to rely on Western thinkers for their interpretation of prophetic verses. I do not have a middle eastern mindset, I have to rely on Walid. Once I accept Walid’s assumptions and look at prophetic verses thru his eyes then the present world makes a lot more sense from a prophetic point of view. The goal is not to condemn anyone. It is a challenge to everyone to read Walid’s books and watch his Videos and think outside the box.

          • susan

            Good point. 🙂

          • Flame blue

I do have Walid’s God’s War on Terror. I watch his videos.

Thank you fair enough, not just Protestants but Roman Catholics.

Actually l am Presbytarian. Our Church is Catholic but not Roman. We don’t protest at Catholics, we take part in World Prayer Days with Roman Catholics.

Erdogan is mad with power and control of the entire Islamic movement in the world, so it seems. This sounds very similar to Hitler, pre ww 2. Walid, you called it right, that Erdogan would come back with a vengeance. Do you think the military coup was a set up by Erdogan so he could further his agenda? If it wasn’t a set up it shows that groups of muslims are getting restless and sick of being controlled by sharia law, do you think? I believe muslims cheering on Erdogan are more scared than anything else to display any disagreement with Islamic/sharian laws, which has probably been the case since it’s (islam) beginning.

  • Jennifer

Awesome article Walid. Keeping my eyes open.

  • Julie

Israel can also mean…’Those Who Seek the Truth’….Yours is interesting…thanks and will pray on this….for more reflection.

Catholic tradition does read it as both Mary and the Church…Mary Par Excellence of all Christianity and all women….and those who are consecrated to her…..picked up by an eagle….

The symbol of the eagle means ‘contemplation’.

Mysticism in the Christian sense is not miracles or prophecies…but simply living in deep contemplative prayer with the Holy Trinity.

It also implies we will not be fed by the nourishment of the Eucharist.

    • Jennifer

I would think gifts of the Holy Spirit would flow out of that contemplative fellowship with the Lord

      • Julie

Yes,,,,I would think so. And our contemplation of the Word of God would be from the approach of ‘consuming the Word’…as Dr Hahn describes in one of his books.

But for the world not to have the Mass and the fruit of the Eucharist, it also implies the unleashing of such evil the world has never seen before…to the point it would hasten Christ’s return or else no one would be left.

Which then takes us to another step….of why He would have said there would be some still alive….why still need some?…..

  • Dominus

It’s all laid out clearly now, no if’s or butt’s if you ask me. This is really a remarkable landmark, a huge event that took place yesterday, a real point of no return.

I have to say it though. When all this started to unfold yesterday, some people who commented on your initial coup article were so foolishly unpatient, jumping to wrong conclusion, that one guy half-mockingly wrote to you with line like:

“So much for your Erdogan being an antichrist theory, duh”. And my instant reaction seeing that foolish err comment was: “Dude, really?, I mean, REALLY ?!?!” :))

What I want to say is, while most of my own views and suspicions about islam I formed through my childhood and growing up later on before even being aware of Shoebats, was about 80% true already back then, and after that, then coming here just confirmed my fears and truth behind it, for what pure evil it really is and of course learning alot of additional in’s and out’s of it.

What I really picked up from here, is that you don’t doubt God’s word, what is written in scripture, the prophecy in it when it comes from horses mouth so to say, ex-muslim from middle east who clearly knows what he is telling us about. It also taught me to be more patient, wiser, and not be unpatient like that guy to jump to wrong conclusions on the very first little hurdle, like I also used to be sometimes. And that’s why I’m glad and thankfull. :))

I think this is really it, I don’t doubt anything one bit anymore. It’s as fasicinating as it is frightening. God help us all, and we all run the marathon, and help others with it too.

    • Grandmere

Thank you, Andre for your testimony. I was deeply moved to read it. I have a dear friend who stutters, especially when she gets nervous or excited. She is a fabulous Christian and an amazing friend. Moses had speech problems. Trevor is deaf. Other dear friends here have physical problems (my back is a wreck and I live in near constant pain). Soon though, we will not have these burdens. You will have many prayers going up on your behalf now. May the Lord bless you and keep you safe.

      • Jennifer

Hi Grandmere, I know this isn’t in this article but do you have any thoughts on Pence as Trump’s VP?

        • Grandmere

I refer you to his comments regarding the Armenian Genocide and the shameless way he sucked up to Turkey. I wonder if he regrets that statement now? He is an evangelical who appears ill equipped to deal with what is coming. Trump is not burdened with the evangelical virus. I hope Walid Phares can disabuse him of his misconceptions on Turkey. Here is the link.

          • Julie

Protestants need to study the history of Turkey.

Anatolia, Western Turkey, Asia Minor….is the center of the worst persecutions against Christians in our history.

          • Jennifer

            Thank you

    • Lisa

Stay strong Andre! Pray for you sweetie.

    • Michael Lochmoeller

Hallelujah! The angles rejoice in the presence of God over 1 sinner who repents!

    • Julie

God bless you, Andre…you will begin to discover more and more graces the Lord has in store for you and some day He will eradicate any fear in you.

Seek a holy and pure life and ask Him to provide for you 1 or 2 companions because that is where He gathers with you.

Removing the Judges of secular Law is not Democracy. All those Judges thousands! That would be because most of the Judiciary 2700 judges refused to overturn the constitution and reinstate the death penalty. Erdogan plans to execute all those officers and even foot soldiers. Obama supports him, so does Merkil., no condemnation of removing all the judges and carrying out mass executions so that they can never rise against him again. I doubt there will ever be an honest election again for what candidates would dare stand against this man in the future. There may be a guise of having a couple of paid stooges standing against him, but l doubt he would go to the bother.

Erdogan is going to implement Sharia Law soon, and send more Islamic floods into Europe until all our countries are governed by Islam, Erdogan, and his cohorts.

Yes, we must hold on to our Faith tightly, for what is coming is monstrous, something cultured European people cannot comprehend. Keep alert, keep the oil burning. To think that Obama and Merkel are Allies to Erdogan, assisting him, promoting satanic Islam. Obama is likely to extradite Gulen to Turkey, simply on the demand of Erdogan and for what reason, politically it seems the man is not allowed to not support Erdogan. In true democracy, there is opposition. Gulen cannot help that he has supporters who favour a secular Western style Government.

Imagine Teresa May having Jeremy Corbin arrested to face jail or execution for daring to have a different political opinion than herself. Imagine Obama daring to have Trump arrested for daring to have different political opinions than himself, and Obama taking steps to overturn the American constitution in order to stay in power indefinitely, and if judges are not in agreement just remove thousands of them from their positions and jail them. This is what Erdogan has done, and he claims that he can because the people who went out in the street are for him, Did they really expect Erdogan to do that?

You are right Walid. Like your explanation of what the blood moon means, Biblical prophecy. God help us, for our generation are probably witnessing the rise of the Beast. We thought it was over when we defeated Hitler, but the same beast was but wounded but he rises again to kill, and go after the Jews and the Christians, yet again. He can have more success this time as there has been a great falling away from Christianity in Europe. Instead of our parents and grandparents giving praise to the Lord for delivering them from evil at the end of World War 2, they arrogantly said ” we have witnessed great evils, God cannot exist to have let this happen”. They blamed God not Satan! Satan even got them to use their Christian Faith to sustain their wicked enemy nation and let her rise again now she rides with the beast and takes part in his wickedness, hiding her foul deeds in the cup of her wickedness, yet presenting as clean on the outside,

  • Jennifer

Walid will you be creating an article on how Mike Pence will affect the Trump presidency?

  • Flame blue

Take care Walid or Erdogon will demand you are extradited to Turkey, and Obama will oblige him. We will go out in the streets for you! Merkel is forcing Germans to go to Turkey to face trial for offending Big Baal Head.

I hope Obama doesn’t think it a good idea to stage a red flag coup so that he can return a hero, and remove thousands of judges who won’t let him change the constitution so that he can introduce Sharia for America.

    • Lisa

There is lots of talk, of the election being cancelled! Scary times!

    • Michael Lochmoeller

THAT is a scary proposition, but I wouldn’t put anything past obama.

  • DANTEcrossingtheRiverStyx

“The only thing missing is the number ‘7 years’.” In my opinion the 7 year treaty may only become obvious to most when the seven years are up and Christ returns. In other words it will not come labeled as the 7 year treaty but we must rely on other evidences that are stated in the above article. “intends for his resurrection of the Ottoman Empire to be done by 2023: Of course if the treaty is signed soon then we will know, and others will only argue.

    • Jennifer

Do you and the shoebats propose that the seven years begins or ends with a formally known restart of the Ottoman Empire?

      • DANTEcrossingtheRiverStyx

Good question, I may have painted myself into a corner.

      • Michael Lochmoeller

There has to be a ‘covenant with many” that starts the 7 years, perhaps that is the covenant Turkey would make with all the Islamic nations to form the caliphate. I also think the covenant involves Israel too, granting a false peace. But we may not know when exactly this covenant is formally signed or agreed upon.

        • Julie

Interesting to see how Russia will respond. We still continue to pray for her conversion. Been at war with Turkey 9 times, one 7 of them.

  • 1Bobby8

Somehow I trust Mr. Shoebat’s interpretation above yours.

  • Delta Rain

Very well written…as usual. Thank you.

  • David W

Walid, so the Antichrist is called King of Babylon, we are talking about the same Babylon i.e., Arabia, specifically the two holy places of Islam? LORD OF THE Ka’aba?

  • Ceirwyn

I do tend to interpret this a geographically specific warning too, but I can see it have some general application (as does all of Revelation). Also, pay attention to what’s happening in the constellations, God’s signs in the heavens. ( It’s wiseman level stuff happening.

Also of note: every Jewish holiday established by God (Feast of Trumpets, the Day of Atonement and the Feast of Tabernacles) has seen a major spiritual event happen that affected all mankind except one: Tabernacles, the holiday where the jews build their tent houses to dwell together with God. I’d bet actual money that Christ will return to earth at this holiday.

    • Julie

Christ is present in the tabernacles on the altar around the world. The difference is those that don’t have altars and tabernacles.

The Day of Atonement was fulfilled when Christ entered into heaven to be before the Heavenly Father at the heavenly altar to minister to us here below in the Word and Eucharist, the Word Made Flesh.

Christ’s tabernacles have been here 2000 years.

About constellations, Christ chose to be born under the constellation of Aries the Ram,…the ram that pointed out by the Angel Gabriel to be the sacrifice instead of his son.

Christ on the altar, the Lamb of God!

  • Trevor
    • Grandmere

      Great job, Trevor!

      • Trevor

    • Kamau41

      Well done, Trevor.

      • Trevor

        Thank you.

    • Jennifer

      You’ve got talent.

      • Trevor

        Appreciate it.

  • 600NE

Walid, yesterday I was thinking…wow maybe a miracle was in the works and a reprieve to the world granted…but as the day unfolded,no such luck. Our Lady will come again in the near future…i think, but maybe not. As the Prophets foretold it will come to pass. Be like the Virgins with oil in your lamp….the best advice I have heard…thanks RD

  • Paul

The “woman” in Revelation 12 is the same entity referred by the same noun “woman” in Genesis 3:15. Perhaps; a bit more is implied here than your super exclusive view about Israel.

“And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; He shall bruise you on the head, and you shall bruise him on the heel." — Genesis 3:15

    • Julie

Thanks…and also note that in the original Hebrew translation…he and she are the same…so some have said the original text did not refer to a woman, only Christ, whereas others say yes, it does refer to woman…sorry don’t have the reference at hand.

  • 600NE

Israel will be converted to new covenant towards the end….it is a fallacy to think that they will still adhere to the old law and be accepted….just doesn’t make sense as then if so the New law that Christ taught will be invalid.
This “British Israel” interpretation has been around for a long time and it’s roots are in freemasonry/Zionism.
Much like Islam who work and believe in their Mahdi-Caliphate,so do the Neocon-Zionist-Freemasons believe in a Israel Jewish Utopia…which is the NWO….it is Anti-Christ…..based on a corruption of “the chosen people”.

Behold the lamb of God…he who believes shall be called to his supper…
God’s plan is not complicated….simplicity is truth and the Lord is the Alpha and the Omega. Satan is complicated for he is not the beginning and certainly will die….RD

    • Julie

      Tend to agree.

    • Trevor

The Jews have converted to Christianity throughout the ages and will continue to do so. The massive conversion will occur at the coming of Christ if I understand the Catechism correctly.

      • Grandmere

        Yes. You do.

        • Trevor

          Thanks, that’s what I thought.

      • Julie

I did read that the Jews will convert towards the end of time..but…it is not clear to me in what context….I mean, there is talk of the internal coming of the Lord…where He returns to the hearts of men…read the ECF’s agreed on this….before the Last Judgment….

That His coming is separate from the Last Judgment…just musing.

        • ‘talk of internal coming of the Lord where he returns to the hearts of men’? I am fighting to escape false doctrine. It seems so clear to me the coming of the Lord is what the apostles and all believers were to be awake and alert for. This is not a figurative coming. It is His literally coming to finalise ‘the deal’. The longing of believers has always been for the Lord’s return at which time he will raise the dead and with them catch up living believers to be with Him forever. How can this be figurative? I can’t do this. We can’t make scripture say whatever we want. The first believers, the apostolic believed he literally was returning. I’m sorry I am upset. We can’t just make things up. There has to be a point where what is written actually means what it says.

          • Julie

I am referring to the Early Church Fathers….and the work of a Catholic priest in Rome who is the top expert now in both Catholic and Protestant apocrypha.

Why allow Jews to convert…and then die at the Last Judgment?

I am referring to the time Satan is chained for a thousand years and then at the end the Last Judgment. The ECF’s considered those priests who never laid with women or told a lie would be resurrected to rule over the faithful.

            This sounds far out…

            If I recall…Fr Joseph Ianuzzi…..

Just as we here are making speculations in the context of today…so are others but looking at different events…

When Christ returns to the hearts of men, it will usher in the final epoch of salvation history….the Glory of the Holy Trinity.

Right now we are coming to the apex of the Age of Mary who is preparing the world for Christ’s coming….and crushing the head of Satan.

I think for us, it is more complicated than this.

I mean, time in Scripture is not like how we are judging through linear time.

          • I don’t see it as more complicated for us I see it as more simple. The Lord said he would return. The first believers watched and waited for that literal return. To say he is coming again is not symbolic or figurative speech. The Lord is really returning in person at a specific time in history. Isn’t that what all this ‘watching world events’ is about?

          • Julie

            Yes He will return.

But also you can reflect on the Old Testament….and see the hundreds of years in human time such events happened following the prophets.

            Look at Isaiah.

I just cannot believe the Lord will convert the Jews at His return and then have the Last Judgment without them having any chance to live out the Christian life.

You yourself are responding to world events.

          • My understanding is this: Revelation 6, the six seals is a mirror of the Lord’s answer to his apostles as to what would be the sign of his coming (parousia). The sixth seal is the Lord’s coming. That is when it will commence. Rev 6:For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
            (Revelation of John 6:17, AKJV)
And what is the first events of the Lord’s coming? There is a very brief pause while 144,000 Jews receive God’s seal and then the scene turns to heaven and the great crowd. This is the resurrected saints and those who remained and were caught up with them to meet the Lord in the air. I believe it says in Rev. 7 there is silence in heaven for half an hour. Events are moving quickly. Then begins the Lord’s judging the world and the kingdom of the beast to culminate in the battle of Armageddon/God of Magog battle. And when it is over the 1000 year kingdom of our Lord.

          • Julie

It could be…I privately sense we are at Ezechial 37 to 38.

The 1,000 year kingdom is the return of Christ to our hearts…the coming reign of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the last epoch, the Glory of the Trinity…this from some mystics. Do I totally believe this? No. But I could see the Jews living in this 1,000 year millenium after their conversion.

But Christ would not be physically present but reigning….there are undercurrents in the Church that the Church will change, along with the world with the chastisement that is coming to purify the world of evil…in various forms.

The Church does not believe that Christ will be physically present as such. It won’t require faith or hope. Why would He then leave it for its destruction?

So He will rule over us physically in the New Jerusalem.

Yes, agree events are moving quickly.

The Last Judgment is when we are judged, those who are in Christ go to the New Jerusalem and those not…elsewhere….

Sr Lucia of Fatima pondered Scripture ….Revelations and said we are in the time of Ch 8 to 13…she passed away a number of years ago.

Again…I cannot put my faith in any one statement as it is coming from God’s eternal Being….and is being given to us within the limitations of our humanity.

So I still have to walk in faith in the Lord…and as Trevor reminded…to look up….our redemption is at hand.

In some ways I think every generation can read their times into their present conditions and come away with similar takes.

But I do relate to the part where there is much going back and forth –travelling, alot of literacy people can read, people obsessed with eating…looking at all the networks concerning food, and the breakdown of the family…it happened to ancient Greece and Rome..history repeating itself.

So I have to look at past conditions to see what is different and what is the same…I always saw Muhammed as the False Prophet with the AntiChrist…

          • I will only comment on two related things you say here Julie.
1-the thousand year kingdom is Christ’s return to our hearts.
2-The church does not believe that Christ will be physically present as such.

Here is quite a list of apostolic fathers who disagree and who do believe in the earthly, physical reign of Christ and his church from Jerusalem.
Doesn’t Christ live in our hearts now?
I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
(John 14:18, KJV) (comfortless means orphans)
Rev. 5:10 And have made us to our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
I know not where you get your strange views from.

          • Julie

You can go to EWTN on the rapture millenium, etc by a search.

We don’t believe that Christ will come back rule, and then leave and the world turn bad again. There are Catholic theologians who either don’t look at the millenium at all or atleast are post millenium…but none of us are pre.

The link you gave me either is indicating the beginning thought of the ECF’s…but Tertullian became an ascetic and went outside the Church to be alone…and Origin, who originally contributed to Orthodoxy, fell into heresy and was condemned.

The Catholic Catechism explains our position and it goes through a number of doctrines to explain it all. CCC368 to 38N….I don’t have the correct doctrines in front me. So it is complex.

My ‘strange views’ come from the Church. I read some priests who say only a remnant of Israel will be saved and others say All…I wish the best for all. It does not have any set position. It is still in the mystery of God.

In the meantime, there are saints and mystics who speak of an era of peace. Mary promised it at Fatima…that would coincide with the reign of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

I can come back with the doctrines on this.

I have not studied them deeply because I try to follow the Gospel of Christ…keep my lamp lit with faith, try to serve the needy of those around me…..and pray…for myself and others…to persevere and for conversion of sinners.

          • >We don’t believe that Christ will come back rule, and then leave and the world turn bad again.

Julie, I don’t even know where you are getting this thought from? I didn’t say it. I know of nobody who teaches such a thing.
            > is indicating the beginning thought of the ECF’s..
Please forgive me but I don’t know what that is.
Where do you get Origen from? He didn’t believe in a literal millennium or a literal anything else. He spiritualized everything. What about all the other names listed such as Papias, Iraneus etc.? If what you are saying is really the Catholic church’s view I hope it isn’t considered dogma.

          • Julie

There are those who think Christ’s return will mean He will physically rule the earth for 1,000 years. and this has been condemned by the Church.

Origen is well liked by the Mormons. He went into heresy later on in life considering premortal existence. He was a prolific writer and in the past submitted his theological reflections to the Church, but it was his decline into heresy in the latter part of his life.

There are only 3 dogmas. They all came out after the 1850’s…papal infallibility, the immaculate conception, and the assumption of Mary into heaven. Otherwise we have about 2865 doctrines of faith.

St Iraneus tackled gnosticism and just about any base of any heresy that would include any repeats today. He is a saint.

            What affiliation is yours?

You should study Catholicism and find out the Church’s position which is all out there for you.

          • Julie, you already told me, and what I knew that there were early, very early, non heretical Christians who believed the Lord was coming again and would rule on earth, in Jerusalem for 1000 years. And they, these very early followers of the Lord are ‘condemned’ by ‘the Church 400 years later?? Condemned for reading what scripture says? How is it considered such an evil that our Lord would return to earth in person, physically? The physical, real body he was born into humanity with and which was crucified was also raised, resurrected. He has the same body, though now no longer subject to death.
I’m looking at Catholic and Orthodox doctrine. Nothing offended me until now.

          • Julie

You are the one who is calling them heretical. We all were taught this in grade school that at first the Christians thought C hrist would return soon. He did not.

How injust for you to infer such a thing?

And people listened to the Word at Mass through letters read to them by the bishops and presbyters.

            Get a catechism.

You are hiding your malice with the veil of feigned search.

And you are hiding behind a false cult that always is insinuating how shocked you are.

            Get lost.

          • Julie

The beginning ECF’s were just beginning to reflect on this as Christ did not return in the original Christian’s life time. They at that time prior to 300’s…believed in a physical millenium….but this position was more a ‘reaction to gnosticism’ than anything.

It is St. Augustine between the 300’s to 400’s….defined the millenium as a metaphor…and the Church has stayed with that…

EWTN has a small clear essay on the End Times, quotes P Benedict as well as refers to the mystics and saints….and as Catholics it is drilled into us to encounter God’s will in our daily life…to know for us our end time is the day of our death and to be prepared.

But Christ present physically was condemned a long time ago.

          • This is quite an admission. I’m not sure what to do with it Julie. You are telling me the earliest believers, those closest in time to the apostles believed in a literal 1000 year kingdom but that view changed the further in time the church got from Christ! Wow.
Christ present physically was condemned!! Wow again!
Acts1:6 When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? 7 And he said unto them, “It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.” 8 “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judæa, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” 9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. 10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; 11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
I need some other Catholics or Orthodox to weigh in on this one. Augustine saying the millenium is a metaphor makes me think he was influenced by Origen who you say was condemned. This conversation is getting out of hand.

          • Julie

This came up again on the box.

Revelations is written in figurative language, code to speak to Christians who are suffering great persecution.

The greatest persecutions of Christian historically is not Rome but Asia Minor….and then communism’s persecution of Russian Christians. I find American sense of faith and practice very limited and narrow.

          • Julie

You are missing out on 2,000 years of discussion and reflection. I found the book..and he also has written on the Antichrist….

‘Splendor of Creation’, by Fr Joseph Ianuzzi…where he brings to light the writings and convictions of early church fathers going back to ancient Christian times as well as other theologians and mystics.

There are alot of us pondering these times.

          • Julie

You are mixing up the interim with the final. I am referring to the passages where Satan will be chained for a thousand years…and then the end.

This thousand years is where I see the Jews now believers in the Lord, live out the Christian life…it is a great blessing to have it.

The end is when we have the Last Judgment and then the heaven and earth rolled up and we given the New Jerusalem.

        • Trevor

I believe that Jesus will literally return in the flesh as He promised and confirmed by the angels as shown in Acts 1-2. It’s the blessed hope.

I am reading this,, and it is quite clear to me that Catholics are to eagerly look for the coming of Christ while living our lives faithful, something we do not always do, I must confess.

The Creed basically sum up the Second Coming of Christ in a few words because we do not have the whole picture of the Second Coming. We only know in parts, as St. Paul says, and we prophesy in parts. Once Christ comes again, then the fullness of God’s revelation will be completed.

As for me, personally, I always envision the Second Coming to be a joyful moment, the same joy as parents welcome the new baby into the world, the same joy as children wake up on Christmas morning and rush to open their presents, the same sober joy that we experience at Mass, a foretaste of what is to come.

          Be blessed, sister.

          • Julie

Yes…I do believe in the physical coming of Christ…but rather in the context He will never return to this world to reign in physical person. Then there will be no faith or hope.

This reign is when He gives us a new heaven and a new earth.

I profess the creed in full faith. But how the events come about, that is in the Lord’s hand.

and yes…as He says, look up your redemption is at hand…that is joy and it is a joy we should follow now as well.

          • infowolf1

“He will never return to this world to reign in physical person. Then there will be no faith or hope.” faith being believing in Him and staying loyal to Him will always be there. hope is looking forward to something and once He comes back, the hope is accomplished and the remaining hope is the new heavens and new earth – which will be an overhaul of this heaven and earth not an eradication. It will still be physical not spiritual in the gnostic non physical sense or it would just be death again.
you can make the same complaint of the final state you make of physical rule on earth – no faith and hope because all is accomplished. so much for your logic.
the new heaven and new earth would still be physical the new Jerusalem comes down to a restored or reworked earth.

          • Julie

Faith is sight unseen and hope is faith fulfilled.

I stay with the Church and its use of systematic theology by great theologians who have given their entire lives to the kingdom of Christ and for His glory.

The only one that is condemned is Christ coming back to rule physically for a thousand years.

That will not be but for those who witness the New Jerusalem.

Christ will never come back to this earth physically as it is. We look forward to the next epoch of time after the purification of this earth through God’s hands, and Christ’s ongoing mission as our Nourishment and Good Shepherd by faith and hope….but this world we live in will be rolled up along with the heavens…and He will give us a new heaven and a new earth….in His time.

For us, our last day …our anticipated death, is our last here on earth….just like Him. We will live on in Him in spirit and at the end of the world those who have served Him worthily will be lifted up in the second resurrection where our souls and reunited with our bodies and live in the New Jerusalem.

          • Julie, I’m struggling to understand this cloud of mystery coming out of you. It sounds like you are saying our Lord will never come back to this contaminated earth and it has to be destroyed first. Therefore our future holds only death as our way to be with the Lord. You then totally discount what the apostle said “I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep”. Would St. Paul also be condemned by men 400 years after he walked the earth?
Clearly I must suspend my ability to think or risk being condemned by the Roman Catholic Church. And forgive me but you sound like a drone.

          • Grandmere

He will come in glory to judge the living and the dead. Makes one tremble with anticipation.

          • Julie

Also went back to your article..I am a John Paulii buff and have a number of his booklets that came out of the Sunday Visitor’s ‘Pope Speaks’….and they stopped the publication when he died, and decided to go online instead for P Benedict….plenty of resources out there.

I agree with the article but my position is drawing on what I have read further.

          • Julie

This came up again…..but yes the article is one that calls for faith…to live through these times but it doesn’t spell….we don’t believe Christ will reign on the earth for 1,000 years, but more from the faith in our hearts.

      Well said!

What Obama has wanted to do from day 1 in office was to make Islam palatable to westerners and to the western world. In all he does, whenever he speaks about it, his goal is to make Islam palatable. ISIS, with their barbaric nature, cannot make Islam palatable to the world. ISIS shows the true side of the caliphate, but this serves no purpose in making it palatable worldwide. In comes Turkey, a “UN Partner,” a “Modern Islamic Country,” with a “strong military,” etc, who is “like us” in some regards, only Islamic and Turkey is sold to us as a country that makes Islam “palatable.” Erdogan and Obama for that matter, wants Turkey to be the gold standard of Islam, which they will accomplish through their expanding Islamic (Ottoman) state. However, one need not look back any further than the Armenian Genocide and no further than the current ISIS savagery to see what an Islamic caliphate really looks like.

    • Trevor

Very good. That’s why Gulen is here. He’s spreading the Sufi brand. Check out his connection to Hillary.

    • Brenda

Islam will never be palatable to me, I have such a natural aversion to it that I can only describe it as an unseen electricity that surrounds me even to even view those awful garments they wear, But I get that with other people too, this is why I am a bit of an anti-social person in life, It’s not that I don’t want to know or love people, it’s just I have rarely ever been wrong even when I really wanted to be, I was in the wrong place too many times.

  • Phil aka Felipe

More & more people are beginning to see the rise of Erdogan in dark terms and also see the conspiracies and why “the heathen rage, and the people’ imagining “a vain thing”, and the “kings of the earth” setting “themselves, and the rulers” taking “counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.” Psalm 2

Sundance at CTH does for example:

What could be more vain imagining than to “counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed,” the Messiah, His beloved Son?

  • Lisa

It is stunning, that so many judges are fired! The way that the soldiers were so brutally attacked iis very frightening. Such violence! Many people were killed I read. I am wondering, Mr. Shoebat, who might be a false prophet? I think there are several candidates. I am thankful for your wisdom, and read your reports almost daily. Thank you so much!

    • Michael Lochmoeller

I tend to think an apostate Christian who promotes Chrislam could be the false prophet. In the book of Revelation it says of the false prophet that he has horns of a lamb (Christianity) but he speaks like a dragon(satan). I could be wrong though. I know here in America we have apostates like Rick Warren pushing the Chrislam apostacy.

    Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

1 All things have their season, and in their times all things pass under heaven.
2 A time to be born and a time to die. A time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted.
3 A time to kill, and a time to heal. A time to destroy, and a time to build.
4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh. A time to mourn, and a time to dance.
5 A time to scatter stones, and a time to gather. A time to embrace, and a time to be far from embraces.
6 A time to get, and a time to lose. A time to keep, and a time to cast away.
7 A time to rend, and a time to sew. A time to keep silence, and a time to speak.
8 A time of love, and a time of hatred. A time of war, and a time of peace.

  • “I must admit, I am the doubting Thomas. Not so much about the Lord but about your take on the end times.”

Thats a good stance to always have, even when it comes to what we write.

The reason the media doesn’t get it is that journalist report news but historians report wisdom and fact which the news doesn’t .

I think The man of sin is the devil himself after being thrown down from heaven. Also I don’t see how the whole world could be deceived by the likes of Erdogan.

  • Your welcome brother Paul. Just make sure if the Lord tarries that you transfer all what you learn to that child in that photo so that the mission is carried on

  • Yep. Exactly. There is a link in the article which explains this in much detail.

  • We discussed many many issues on the sodomites. If you like to write something on “TV Globo in Brasil” I would not mind posting it. Bless you for recognizing such evil as evil.

I love my holy mother Maria. I’m so exited when I think about her. Thank you Walid for the enlightning of the eyes of my heart.

WOW – still hard to believe that we witnessed ‘history in the making’ unfold before our eyes. Great report — did you ever think you would end up becoming a journalist? In essence, you had to become one to keep us informed – and a big thanks for that.

  • Lord bless you sister Cheryl as you bless the persecuted. Always glad to share what I know so that blessings circulate to the ends of the world 😉

  • You are very welcome Rom. Its not time to slumber.

Sorry to disagree with your last statement. He was certainly not obsessed with the Blessed Mother.

He and she are the same in Hebrew…and read disputes over this in the past. We studied this from our theologian and he said with the conflicts, Jerome simply translated literally and did not try to assume what they meant beyond their literal meaning.

St. Louis De Montfort spoke of the coming age of Mary that would precede Christ’s coming just as it happened in the beginning at the Annuncation with Mary, and that in the latter days, Mary would be given great power over the demons.

You should also read the story of Mary of Guadalupe…the name Guadalupe…and how it sounded to the Indians…’she who crushes the head of the serpent’….

And her heel is her children who are in communion with her…and we offer our sufferings and crosses in our prayers to her and she uses them to crush the enemy.

‘In the end, my immaculate heart will triumph.’

Whether we is not the matter….as I read on another website today….what is important is that we do not fear the first death….but see it simply as a passage to another life.

  • How do you show that this verse is Antichrist? How is Antichrist a “shepherd”? He is a wolf. This is speaking of the lazy shepherd.

This was all staged. Either that or the soldiers are very stupid. I mean first of all it was way too short. The day this happened I leave for work quarter after one in the afternoon eastern time. Nothing was reported before I left. I came home at 11:30 p.m and the “coup” appears to be over. Done in about 10 hours. : – /

Secondly, I saw the video where a tank ran over a car. As neat as that was, if the soldiers had been serious they would have run over both PEOPLE and cars with that tank, not to mention the planes and helicopter they had. This was a set-up to make Erdogan look like a savior.

  • Smith

So I am curious. If the Muslims losing the 6 day war in 67′ was the catalyst for the OIC’s creation, is there a similar catalyst we should be waiting for for Erdogan to announce the new Islamic Confederacy that will be the last Empire as spoken of by Daniel?

  • That this tyrant would create and use such intrigue to further purge those who don’t fully support him and control the rest through fear is really nothing new in history. Evil tyrants often resort to such conduct. What I don’t recall seeing before is a dictator sicking the people on those he doesn’t like and them acting as crazed, rabid animals. Beating, torturing, beheading on the streets. And this creature intends to unite and lead all who dwell under this demonic Islam?
We really need to stay focused. All countries importing this brood with the idea they represent a religion of peace are going to be threatened.

  • The whole world plays in end-times, the issue I bring up is what part plays the beast.

  • “When Israel flees into the wilderness, they will find safety towards Jordan. How do we know that? Daniel 11:41 tells us that Edom, Moab and Ammon will escape from the grasp of the Antichrist.”

When you interpret this way it shows a flaw. How does these two even compare:

    1) “When Israel flees into the wilderness, they will find safety towards Jordan.”

    2) “How do we know that? Daniel 11:41 tells us that Edom, Moab and Ammon will escape from the grasp of the Antichrist.”

The two do not even compare. One says that Jordan will be spared from Antichrist, it says NOTHING about Israel moving there. This is a theory that was invented lately and has zero evidence from scripture.

“But verses 22-23 describe the Antichrist as coming to power with a small people or nation, sweeping away great armies before him. He apparently plunders his own kingdom and rewards his followers with loot, an act contrary to his fathers (11:23).”

This “or nation” is an addition by you. It is NOT in scripture. It simply says “small number of people”.

As far as our original debate, it clearly says that this is about the followers of Jesus which ends any discussion.

    • Julie

      Great learning here, Walid! Thanks!

Clergy tell us, however, that only a remnant of Israel will be saved; others point to passages that all of it will be saved.

      • All Israel at the time that is.

        • Julie

I just mused with Trevor…that the ECF’s…early church fathers stated we would have Christ’s second coming…but it is separate from the Last Judgment..

I mean, the Jews convert…only to be on their knees before the Lord to be judged?….

I am also thinking of the Divine Will…Louisa Piccaretta….Corato, Italy…I am part of the prayer group where we pick an hour of the Passion of Our Lord and meditate on His sufferings through her materials…the 24 Hour Passion from Divine Will.

Due to mistranslations and some Americans creating new spins, etc…the bishop of Trani has banned people from reviewing her writings and for now we are only allowed to reflect on the 24 hours of His Passion and the writing on Mary and the Divine Will. All else we are not to access. I did reflect on some….but it is very very advanced….and does imply that when this time comes, the world will look different than it does now and that the Church will be different….but we will all be of one heart and one mind in the Lord.

My priest friend was pastor of the parish in Andria….

You thumped your pulpit and missed the Bible.

  • “Could the lazy shepherd be the one to sell Israel out …”

You can say it is about the leaders of God’s people. He sells his flock (God’s flock). The followers of Antichrist are no flock.

It sounds very reasonable what you are saying particulary when you introduce the twelve stars and say that the represent the tribes of Israel.

We know that the Jews are informed to flee, not even take anything from their house, don’t hesitate to flee, and Jesus says he has great pity for pregnant women and women with suckling babes at that time.

Some could say, it doesn’t mean Jewish people but other nations or Israel included with other nations. I think that the Jews have to flee and so do the Christians.

My take on it is that it is Israel and Jews and Christians worldwide, that fight the beast, so the woman could be Israel/Mary, because Mary was Jewish, and Christians and Jews are connected to her. Jews have to in the end be under the rule of her Son Jesus. The woman ‘Israel and Mary ‘
( Jews and Christians) defeat the moon cult in the end.

Erdogan has already strengthened his arm and gained repect in the Islamic World. When he becomes Chief of the IOC, he will gain more power, and respect. In the IOC, although the group of 57 represent all Muslims, they themselves are a group of 57 (one person each Islamic nation) and it is possible that Iran and various Islamic nations will not be for being used to advance Erdogan’ ambitions to be Caliph. So, half of the Islamic nation representives in the IOC may support him, or just over half, more realistically. That’s a small number who back him for Caliph, but they can grant him that power and work to promote him as the chosen one.

When Erdogan makes some clever, sly moves, even Iran may be impressed to see how through his actions Europe is conquered, and see how Erdogan is a blessing to Islam.

Whatever, big trouble is coming but l pray Europe can resist it. If Britain for example is resisting an invasion of European immigrants, then she as a country must object to an invasion of Muslim immigrants. It is not moral to spit in the faces of European immigrants, yet open the flood gates to Islamics from the Middle East.

The number 12 represents the perfection of faith…the woman represents the Church because it is written in the Book of Revelation by St. John, Our Lord HImself communicating to him, and the imagery in code because of the great persecutions endured by Christians.

The number 12 represents the foundation of the Church…the 12 apostles chosen by Christ.

If Protestants would come to the rosary and unite their lives with Mary…they would be part of the ‘heel’ that crushes the head of Satan.

      • Flame blue

Julie, l didn’t say that l agreed with the chap’s interpretation, l simply said l found it sounded reasonable.

The number 12 can represent the months of the year but it doesn’t. Number 12 is not a sacred number of the perfection of faith. Twelve Disciples No, because Jesus Christ has many more disciples than 12 so He did not stop at 12. Judas the snail was one of the Lord’s disciples. Knocks the number of Disciples interpretation for the stars on its head. My Lord has all the stars in the sky to represent the number of Disciples.

The Church is represented as a Bride so yes, the woman represents the Church of Christ collectively his Church. However, in these days we know that the collective Church are calling for the destruction of Christianity. When common sense is thrown away, and you don’t pay attention to the historical behaviour of Muslims in their dealings with Christians, but go on to invite them to do the same in your safe place where you dwell, l perceive that as madness. But Jesus will still have his Bride, the people who hold to their Christian Faith and win the good Fight. The days of Popes financing wars to defend their Faith and Christians are over Julie, the Christian masses are not strong in number in the Western Lands, and will not unite to fight against their enemies.

After much persecution, the Church will still exist, after the Lord has created circumstances that destroy the enemy that persecuted her. It is the Lord who crushes them. The Church is not God, and Mary is not God.

Mary is a living Angel who served Yahweh and serves him still, she is as always on the side of righteousness. Her Jesus, she still perceives as her son and she is delighted with his followers. I know that fact and would not speak of what l don’t know. If l don’t know, l stay quiet.

Rosery beads, rosery, not meaningful, not needed. An artificial use has been created and forced in by men. Certainly, use them as worry beads. Prayers don’t need beads to assist or focus on! My life is united with Jesus because He is the Life in me. I am not rejecting Mary, l state that she is part of God’s family.

I mean no offence to you, and l don’t believe that the importance you place on your rosary and Mary, breaches your sister relationship with me in Christ.

        • Julie

Mary is not a living angel. She is a human being conceived without sin.

Jesus is the incarnated Word of God…in the flesh…and He reunites us to the God’s creation, sanctifying it…including the use of human beads.

The Word of God is not intended to be understood outside salvation history, outside human beings, and outside and disconnected from the world God created. I see this with the repugnance to Mary, to the communion of saints, the disconnect and accusations you hear that we worship statues, etc. I know you are not on that level.

But it is this ongoing disconnect and fragmentation that is the fruit of putting the bible outside its people and its Church, the Interpreter of Scripture and the apostles.

About the purpose of numbers in their Biblical symbolism, that is another area you should study. Twelve also represents the 12 tribes of Israel. Twelve represents perfection.

If Christ only needed one person…like Luther….He would have done so. He picked 12 apostles, not one Sola. When we act alone, we deny the purpose of our neighbor to show us our blind spots.

Christ made the Church for a reason….

You should come to learn what the rosary is and the reflections of each mystery…and how Our Blessed Mother draws us closer to Christ than we by ourselves ALONE…..

You should not condemn that what you don’t know.

In days past, it would be a grave sin for the Church with the Christian unity it had then before the Reformation to indeed go out to save the Christians suffering under Moslem persecution and atrocities.

It is the secular world now that rules.

          • Flame blue

Julie, first l want to point out that l posted to another person on the forum that his interpretation of the twelve stars above the head of the woman signify the twelve tribes of Israel, was a reasonable interpretation, but you contacted me to say that those stars represent the 12 apostles above Mary’s head she wears as a crown. Now you tell me to study the possibility that the 12 stars could represent the 12 tribes of Israel. That is why l agreed with the person that his idea that these stars were tribes of Israel was reasonable.

I did not contact you to be critical of your Roman Catholic Faith. It is you who contacted me to talk about Mary, disciples, stars, rosary, and putting my life into Mary’s hand or unite my life with her. I answered you that l don’t need rosary, and beads. Now you are taking me to task, telling me that l am condemning your faith, and l don’t know what l am condemning.

Was Judas one of the twelve, and he betrayed Jesus, giving Jesus no time to replace Judas because he went into captivity after the act of betrayal. I have not criticised Jesus for choosing 12 disciples! But 12 cannot represent perfection because Judas left the number at 11.

Several scriptures indicate that we who die and are saved to eternal life shall be like the Angels in Heaven. I don’t think Mary is above the Angels as only Yahweh-Jesus would be above the Angels, and when Jesus was on Earth, his was made human and that is lower than the Angels, humanity is lower than God’s Angels!

This scripture supports it, l give it not to give you understanding about marriage, but humans changed in the twinkling into Angels.

            GOD’S WORD® Translation
When the dead come back to life, they don’t marry. Rather, they are like the angels in heaven.

            New American Standard 1977
“For when they rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven.

            Jubilee Bible 2000
For when they shall rise from the dead, neither shall they marry nor husbands take women nor women, husbands; but are as the angels who are in the heavens.

            King James 2000 Bible
For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels who are in heaven.

          • Julie

I follow the tradition of understanding of the Church because it comes from the Apostles who were chosen by Christ…and the foundation set up by them.

Judas was replaced…by the throwing of lots by the apostles, being faithful to the foundation of their gathering. It is all there. Judas was replaced.

Problem comes about when people take one line of Scripture out….please note in your reference to angels….’as’…angels….but they are not. Prepositions are so powerful the apostles exhorted not to even take one word out of Scripture.

All the saints are in spirit…and will be reunited with their mortal bodies at the final Resurrection after the Last Judgment.

We approach Sacred Scripture as the Living Word of God as a whole…

No I don’t think you are critical as such, sense your kind spirit….but I am addressing the same old misconceptions and disinformation spread by false preachers.

          • Flame blue

I know you follow your church traditions. We all tend to do that! My understanding comes from God and his original disciples and apostles who went on to found churches. Many churches had no names such as Roman Catholic, Presbytarians, Babtists, Methodists, etc, but these churches started off in private houses where Christians huddled together in worship in fear of the Pagan Romans and judgemental Jews who rejected the truth of Jesus.

Many Christians are wondering if the time is coming when once again we will be huddled together in private houses, in fear of Muslims, or Global elites who persecute Christians. If that time comes, we Christains will need to forgo our differences of liturgy practices, and give and take, and remember we do have the same Lord and worship him. Cannot have the ridiculous scene of argueing because the Roman Catholic brought a statue of Mary and rosary beads, and the Babtist insisting that we are not Christians unless he carries out our submersion baptisms in the bath water in my bathroom. Then when we all fall out we can report each other to the Authorites and be led away for re-education or beheading.

I believe we go right to heaven, as spirits bearing human image. If we want we can grow wings, but l probably won’t want them. Judgement, l don’t believe in it, in the sense that you do, because really when Jesus makes us his holy people, that’s what we are, and we are already forgiven, so there is no criticism. That’s God’s judgement on us! It is Judgement Day for us, without fear. The praise is God’s but we fought the good fight and get crowns as our reward.

Some scriptures indicate that we are made to be like Jesus in heaven. But l see strongly that we shall be like the Angels, not in human flesh and blood that wears and tares. These bodies we have are like avatars on this earth, flesh and blood their substance, like copies of our heavenly bodies. Paul says that they are but tents. The heavenly, glorified body is just like a human body but it’s not because the body lies in the grave if that’s the place it’s put, and becomes food for worms as the reward from Satan for having not been 100% holy on Earth. Satan gets those bodies, but Jesus body, he could not claim. Arch Angel Michael requested the body of Prophet Moses, and Satan said ” No, he sinned, l shall not give him to you”. Arch Angel Michael said to Satan ” shame on you, sir.” So, Moses body was subjected to decay!

          • Raph Sebastian

It’s precisely these sort of foolishness making humans into angels and vice versa that is going to condemn so many. Angels and mankind are two separate creations of God, they are not interchangeable states of being.

People do not become angels upon death, period. Angels do not and cannot become humans, if they fall they become demons.

Whenever I hear Protestants say stupid things about someone who recently passed on, that he or she is now an angel and looking down on you, especially children who have died, they suddenly become angels. Utter stupidity, a coping mechanism, I understand but when it become theology it’s just plain moronic.

Idiotic quoting in English! Ok I’ll play your game of one verse theology.

Where does it say you will be changed into angels?Or where does scripture say you will become angels expressly?

            Matt 22: 23-33

            Marriage at the Resurrection

23That same day the Sadducees, who say there is no resurrection, came to him with a question. 24“Teacher,” they said, “Moses told us that if a man dies without having children, his brother must marry the widow and raise up offspring for him. 25Now there were seven brothers among us. The first one married and died, and since he had no children, he left his wife to his brother. 26The same thing happened to the second and third brother, right on down to the seventh. 27Finally, the woman died. 28Now then, at the resurrection, whose wife will she be of the seven, since all of them were married to her?”

29Jesus replied, “You are in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God. 30At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven. 31But about the resurrection of the dead—have you not read what God said to you, 32‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’b ? He is not the God of the dead but of the living.”

33When the crowds heard this, they were astonished at his teaching.

“But as are the angels”. Angels do not marry nor have husbands or wives that’s what it means! No cure for stupidity!

          • Trevor

Jesus was making an analogy to make a point. In the resurrection, we will be given glorified body to mirror Christ’s. Some people read a verse like that and the most obvious point goes “woosh” over the head.

          • susan

I wish I could remember where i read this. A little boy died and went to heaven. He said we would receive new indestructible bodies :). Out of the mouth of babes.. 😉

          • Trevor

            Heaven is for real?

          • susan

Yes! I believe that’s the one. He also said we have a “mommy” in heaven…hmmm. 😉

          • Trevor

I haven’t read the book but did see the movie. I have that picture of Jesus over the fireplace.

          • susan

The book has more glimpses. 🙂

          • Raph Sebastian

Exactly, dear brother, these glorified bodies have no need for carnal knowledge or marriage. The LORD clearly explained this to the Sadducees. Angels have no need for marriage and thus the glorified body(stainless soul, for nothing unclean can enter into heaven) upon entering heaven Angels have no bodies like that of mankind and have a different role. Man was created to go forth and procreate and give glory to God. Angels were His messengers, created to guide and guard mankind. Scripture tells us that angels can assume a form and shape of the human body, as when the angel Raphael appeared to Abraham, in the form of a companion of Tobias but that body is not his nor has it the function that is of a human body.

Before God’s wrath was upon Sodom and Gomorrah, the men there wanted to rape the angels in their form of human bodies.

God’s favor for mankind is what set off 1/3 of the angels in heaven to side with lucifer and start the rebellion. It was ego and jealousy that sparked this off. the questions that lucifer asked were, why is it that the imperfect man, a sinful man, a creature that was created long after the angels had God’s favor?

The angels are already part of the beatific vision. St Thomas’ Summa Theologica further expands on this by stating that the angels are the creatures that were created with the beatific vision.

The only human to be created in such a way is the Blessed Theotokos. Did the Blessed Mother have the beatific vision while on Earth?

Once again the often repeated stupidity of when people die, they become angels is a heresy on top pf being totally not what scripture teaches. This type of nonsense obviously will not change as long as there are idiots misquoting Matt 22.

It’s the same thing with Noah’s flood… Some Christians cannot accept God reason for why He had the flood done. So they resort to fanciful interpretation that borderline on science fiction and outright gnostic imaginations.

The account made it clear that God saw that wickedness were great and that mankind hearts were continually evil. Can’t get any plainer than that.

The further away man grows from God, the greater the likelihood that man will do all sort of evil, unrestrained and without any kind of check.

That’s what Jesus was talking about that His coming will be the same as in Noah’s days before the Flood. And lo, we are seeing the same taking place. Lawlessness is abounding… Love of many are growing cold… Evil seem to be multiplying without any kind of check against it.

No need for fanciful explanation. Any one with eyes to see can see how perversion are multiplying at a sickening pace.

          • Flame blue

            I speak English, l read my Bible in English. The interpreters of Biblical interpretation, write it this way;

            International Standard Version
because in the resurrection, people neither marry nor are given in marriage but are like the angels in heaven.

            NET Bible
For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven.

            Aramaic Bible in Plain English
For in the resurrection of the dead, they do not take wives, neither do men have wives, but they are like the Angels of God in Heaven.

            GOD’S WORD® Translation
When people come back to life, they don’t marry. Rather, they are like the angels in heaven.

            New American Standard 1977
“For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven.

Forget the instruction about marriage, the verses say we shall be like the Angels in Heaven. You are twisting the meaning to suggest these scriptures are saying like the Angels in heaven we shall not marry because they don’t marry in heaven, but that’s not what the scriptures say, they say we will be like Angels in heaven.

It depends on what you see Angels as, perhaps you see them as 12 ft tall with wings. Angels can look just like glorified people, healthy, shiny and without wings. Just like we are now but bearing no frailties, and wrinkles, looking youthful, shining with light. Actually, you won’t know what you look like because vanity is gone. Scriptures back what l say, and my Father God backs what l say, so if l say it, it’s true, and l am not stupid!

          • Raph Sebastian

Yeah forget about the instruction about marriage, yeah forget about what Jesus said! Just push aside what Jesus meant in his reply to the Sadducees. Then take what Jesus says out of context and then argue that humans can become angels. Awesome!

Look there is nothing you offer that is worth anything of value. It’s your own damned interpretation of what you want things to be. Forget about the marriage instructions, indeed! It’s trying to equate human and angels and to say that humans become angels and vice versa that is stupid. Once again I am not interested in cherry picked one verse theology.

And no God does not back you up just because you cherry picked on verse to make your argument, in fact quite the contrary, He frowns on sola scriptura, God didn’t teach sola scriptura.

          • Flame blue

You would call Jesus a liar too! Of course, slag me off, l can’t be anything but delusional. I only speak of what l know.

On Earth Christians are lower than the Angels but in Heaven they are free to be God’s children doing as they wish as long as it’s good, so all our wishes are granted there and l can be an angel if I like!

          • Grandmere

Flame, you can never be an angel.God has already made all the angels he desires. And why would you want to give up your status as one created in God’s image and likeness, redeemed at a great price, a joint heir with Christ? You are standing in quicksand, Flame. Please listen to us.

          • Raph Sebastian

What you have said is falling on deaf arrogant and ignorant ears, dear sister. You can’t fix or bring truth to such people, they will say you are making the LORD into a liar and such.

For 2000 years the Apostolic Church has taught plain teachings when it comes to angels, in the last 200 years those teachings were discarded for a new one that teaches humans can now become angels. Yeah, humans can sew on chicken wings to their backs, does that make them into eagles? One can sew on condor wings on their backs but does that make them angels? It’s this sort of perversion, that we see, that allows men to think they are women and vice versa, and allowed people to think they are animals just by making cosmetic changes to their bodies. This is the sickness of modernity and heresy.

          • Flame blue

I can be anything l want, in Heaven, as long as l don’t want debasement . You are the only one who has given the correct answer. Susan and Ralph have given me the impression that they think we will be lower than angels. If they thought that we would be higher, would they not have said ” Flame we will be higher than angels”. This left me thinking that l would really shock them if l told them that l am of God, so l said ” l will be as l want as a child of God”. I don’t need to give up my status to be an Angel. I can be what l am in Heaven. But Jesus is Christ! They may change their minds now you have given your view, and pretend they realised their position as children of God. Actually we are not grand, we are serval in our nature and character.

          • susan

“Susan and Ralph have given me the impression we would be lower than Angels”.

This is why it’s pointless to talk with you. You read into things that are not there. You can barely handle milk. Why should anyone discuss with you the thrones that we shall sit upon and where they came from? Why would I give you the keys to the car when you’re still learning to walk? Get a Catholic catechism. (I hope I’m spelling that right..I’m tired). Learn what was passed down since the beginning of the church. Then maybe we’ll talk some more. 😉

You still think you’ll be an angel?

          • Flame blue

It’s as pointless talking to me as talking to Jesus because he won’t listen to arrogant people who accuse other people. You are not in the same bracket as the other person but that was an arrogant response to me. All you needed to do is say we are children of God and brethren of Jesus, but no, you didn’t. I was being careful in saying we shall be as angels so not to shock or appear arrogant, although l am not arrogant, but got the impression that you thought me delusional in terms of their high status.

Milk has never been my spiritual food. I can be anything l want to be, in spirit, l can go in a bush, appear as an Angel of the Lord, anything, or even go in and out if my Lord wants me to do that!

My Lord’s angels are well regarded and respected, they have free thought and their status is high. God loves them, and they are mighty and loving. I compliment them greatly to say l will be an Angel. However, never do l pray to them or another, only Yahweh- Jesus.

Be in peace and humble. Do not judge me by my non RC status, l am not defined by my Church. I am there because God loves them, and supports them. Dopes in theology, they are not, l know for a fact! I will not answer any more on this subject. End of.

          • Grandmere

Wow! He’s locked into his position. Sad.

Well l won’t say more. But l know. I don’t guess. We are all different. Maybe l get a different deal from you. I am not a guesser. I am a spiritual person.

You do know there are spiritualists who prostitute the gift God gave them and they read teacups and look into crystal balls and use there gift in earthly type ways. Well, l would never do that! God would be angry if l did that. I stay with his people, his church. I know my Lord, l know him and he knows me. You have your Faith . I have my certainty. End of this discussion.

Yeah sure now say that I am calling the LORD a liar, because that’s your standard go to excuse or get out of distorting scripture defense. People here have soundly rebuked your misinterpretation, if not distortion of scripture, a few have called you out for it. A simple acknowledgment stating that you misunderstood what scripture teaches would have shown you accept being corrected, but no you double down and continue to defend the indefensible.

No one cares what you figure through your own interpretation the faithfully departed become, all of Church history every non-ignorant Christian knows what the promise of a glorified body is, no one becomes an angel. Have glorified bodies like the angels have, not angels themselves. Plain and simple truth.

I would depend on the Summa Theologica of St. Thomas Aquinas, one of the brightest minds in Church history, in explaining the characteristics of angels and what their function are than a FlameBlue version of a absolutely corrupted interpretation and understanding of what and who angels are.

Protestants have allowed women who think they are men and men who think they are women to become “pastors”, “priests”, “bishops” and what have you. You are free to become whatever you want, you want to go put on cat ears and a furry costume and think you are a cat, you are free to do so, you think you can sew on some chicken wings on your back then call yourself an eagle or angel it’s up to you. But that doesn’t make it true, so what you believe and want to believe has no religious or theological premise. Indeed, it;s precisely what you said, it’s what you want to become. So go ahead and be an angel if you like but that doesn’t mean you are one.

But when you state a theological falsity and then attempt to back up that falsity with misquoting and misinterpreting scripture then you are delusional. Garbage of that kind deserves to be exposed, and garbage peddlers also will be exposed.

          • Flame blue

Accused by the Accuser! What man are you? I say nothing but the truth. I can be as l want to be and as l Am. I ate the scriptures, and my sight is good. I have made no error. Accuser. Accuser. Accuser.

          • Raph Sebastian

Yeah just because you call me an accuser doesn’t mean I am one, just like how you are deluded into thinking you become an angel, doesn’t mean you can become one. Pathetic.

          • Grandmere

“I can be as I want to be and as I Am”……. Wow!!! That is a rehash of a statement by none other than Lucifer. FLAME! Fall down on your knees and ask God to forgive you! You have finally let pride get the best of you.

          • Grandmere

I have never heard any theologian state that humans change into angelic beings who have never known the joy of redemption. They have an entirely different relationship with the Godhead.

          • Flame blue

Well you may not become like an angel in heaven but l am going to become one.

This scripture doesn’t say we shall not marry in heaven because Angels don’t get to marry in heaven. The marriage advice is not needed for our purpose but clearly says that we are like Angels and don’t marry.

            International Standard Version
because in the resurrection, people neither marry nor are given in marriage but are like the angels in heaven.

            NET Bible
For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven.

            Aramaic Bible in Plain English
For in the resurrection of the dead, they do not take wives, neither do men have wives, but they are like the Angels of God in Heaven.

            GOD’S WORD® Translation
When people come back to life, they don’t marry. Rather, they are like the angels in heaven.

            New American Standard 1977
“For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven.

l am not a Mormon who believes that l will become a god, but yes, l expect to be an angel. I dont expect to have wings but l will get them if l want and God approves, and there’s no reason why he won’t approve. I shall sit on a white chair made of light and have a crown given to me, and l will have a large water fountain in my large room. My lamp will be the Jewish menorah which is my Lord’s light. I will have spiritual eyes which see brilliantly. I will have my Bible on my table which is made of light, and l will listen to Angels who love singing. I may even Judge Angels, but l will be kind and judge them to be good.

          • susan

You’re not going to become an angel blue flame. Jesus was not saying that you’ll BE an angel. Read it again. ;). He said we won’t marry or be given in marriage but are LIKE the Angels in heaven…meaning they aren’t married or given in marriage in heaven. Heaven is unique and beyond our understanding other than the glimpses we are given in part. 🙂

          • Flame blue

Yes, l was only answering you as according to the glimpses l have been given. We are God’s children and he lets us do as we wish as long as it is good. As God’s children on Earth, we are lower than Angels but in Heaven we are not beneath their status.

          • Grandmere

In heaven we are above the angels. Unlike them, we were created in the image and likeness of God. They long to know him as we do – not the other way round.

          • Flame blue

Jolly good Grandmere. That’s my point. From the others who have answered my posts, l have the impression that they think we will be lower than the Angels, and l have delusions of grandeur. Yes, l agree, that’s why l said that l will wear a crown and listen to angels singing and l will even judge the angels but l will be kind and judge the angels of heaven as good. I have told them to remember that we are children of God.

          • Grandmere

Amen. You said it best, bro.

          • Julie

She skipped the ‘as’ ….little prepositions trip so many up….another casualty of studying scripture ALONE. As you know, we are not allowed to change even one word of Scripture…and the apostles drew lots to replace Judas…and 12 in this context does not refer to the 12 seasons….

I studied the Jewish calendar at the beginning of my class, ‘The Liturgical Year’, and a full cycle for them…not providing context here either….was fulfillment.

          • Raph Sebastian

Exactly this is the type of damned stupidity we have to deal with. Stupid one verse theology as it is is bad, omission of the word “as” when clearly even in English “as” is used in the comparative once again that one verse theology strikes again, never mind the quoting in English. When clearly the Latin and Greek text mean something else.

          • Julie

They don’t want to go beyond their own way of looking at things…and this is contrary to the spirit of the Church…Christ’s will.

        • Julie

I wouldn’t say 12 representing months…I studied the ancient Jewish calendar with our Liturgical Year class….and they looked at a cycle ending after 19 years…followed the lunar cycle as well….

Studying the Liturgical Year is most interesting.

          • Flame blue

No, it doesn’t represent months. Do you know that the Muslims claim 12 a special number too, because they say that Ishmael would be the bloodline of twelve princes.

I am sure that studying the ancient Jewish calendar would be interesting. Lunar months and new moons, the prophets prophesied at times of new moons, but l didn’t read that in the Bible. A Jewish man told me so!

7 officers shot in Baton Rouge????

What do you black lies matter demons (yes I now consider you demons and on the same level as muslims and gays) want? Do you want every single officer dead? Do you want every officer to withdraw, go into hiding, and leave us to defend ourselves? The streets are about to flow red and I fear it will start in Cleveland.

    • Reports are that the Soros gang are bring 10,000 agitators for Cleveland. And a lot if not most will be carrying a firearm. And all the various groups will be intermingled. What could possibly go wrong? This week could be a game changer. It is very well known that George Soros aka Swartz is paying these people to cause maximum disturbance. Why is this person still walking around and not in prison?

Because of the ideologies of our idiotic world leaders. Hey, let’s get Loretta Lynch to work on it! I also read that these same thousands may also protest at the demoncrap convention.

Gruesome, absolutely demonic! They beheaded at least one of those poor Turkish soldiers on Bosporus bridge there. Police is allowing it, just standing there and watching these demons do their thing. And I haven’t seen anything of that sort being reported on mainstream media. Western media should be all over this, screaming from the rooftops and hold Erdogan accountable for this and yet you hear nothing from this sellout media. Legalised ISIS killers on streets of Istanbul it seems, and no outrage.

    • These creatures appear mindless in their viciousness. This is a demonic feeding frenzy.

  • Julie

Sorry…the Church is comprised of a body of people…not the LONE ranger.

If there was error, it would have been corrected by then.

The Council of Trent reviewed Luther’s accusations, and after much discernment….11 years it took to complete the Council, affirmed the texts and understanding are for public revelation.

You are giving a particular narrative that is indicative of the split from the Church.

  • Julie

    secular, anti gospel, anti church

    • racarrera

It’s amazing how quickly people forget where Christianity came from. It wasn’t Den Haag or London or Munich.

      • Julie

I think this is the great flaw of Americans is that they have no sense of history, just live in the isolated present moment…about them and their way of looking at things whatever it may be….individualism.

It is their individualism that draws them to believe in how they believe. I now understand so much more how Protestant our country truly is, our culture…and the subsequent fragmentation of our entire society….

I hate to say it but the solution for this is poverty centered on Christ for life.

        • racarrera

Yes. This is why the most holy countries are sometimes poor or suffering. They died to the world.

          • Michael Lochmoeller

All the prosperity preaching in America makes me sick, it always has.

          • racarrera

It’s one of the diseases of this country.

The Jews don’t use the Book of Revelation.

It is written for the Christians. Had a good sleep last night.

  • Julie

Testimony of salvation history…and the point is the Jewish People as God’s chosen.

    Christ established one Church.

Protestantism’s essence is Alone, protesting His Church as full deposit of faith…not the ecclesiastics. The chaff is always with the wheat as a test to draw closer to the life of the Church in Christ.

Protestants look at men too much and it is individual men who have fragmented Christianity outside of the Church.

Nobody, including the pope , has any monopoly on sanctity.

In regards to sanctity, we are all on our own walk the Lord has called us to. The difference is growing in love of God, getting to know Him, serve Him more and to be with Him in the next life.

  • Julie

But what was before Catholic eschatology? Judaism without Christ.

Catholic eschatology is 2000 years old, beginning with the life of Christ.

  • Tom_mcewen

I can’t believe in the coup story, boy scouts could organise a better coup, a coup on a bridge no coup in the center’s of communication, centers of potential resistance, just good soldiers obeying orders, killed as sheep, if it was a coup then you fight to the death, it is death either way. This is murder pure and simple.

Christine, when Obama was first elected I had a person ask me strait up if he was the antichrist and my answer was a definitive no. I said he would point to the antivirus but not the one.

Excellent article Walid. Erdogan is cunning, and there will be more heard from him. Indeed these are exciting times and we must each do what we are able.

  • elopes

Well, looks like the “Harbinger” was not so wrong after all…the world is falling apart, what next? economic meltdown? FEMA? The rising of the Beast?

And we are not over the period yet. The year of jubilee is still going on.

Conspiracy theories aside, I am going to learn to recite the Rosary ASAP , and fill my lamp with oil.

    • Higlac

While reading Wikipedia’s article on the Rosary, I’ve noticed the Lutheran variation thereupon where most (not all) of the “Hail Mary”-prayers are replaced by the “Jesus Prayer”. It looks like it could be a decent alternative for those of us who feel more at ease going directly to Christ – any thoughts thereon (especially relative to efficacy)?

      • by Jesus prayer do you mean something like; Lord Jesus Christ, only begotten of the Father, have mercy on me a sinner’. I pray it often.

        • Higlac

Yes indeed, that’s the one!! [I thought of it as “Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the Father, have mercy upon me, a sinner.”]

          • Tom_mcewen

To all above this is just the Orthodox prayer restated “Jesus Christ, son of God have mercy on me a sinner”. Why one should fear Heil Mary is a statement more on who you believe who your Christ is, this Christ who fears or is jealous of his mother, can this Christ be so hungry? These are apostolic prayers. “Heil, Mary full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God pray for us now and at the hour of our death. Amen. Our Father, the mysteries, offering intentions. Evil? This is Hating and cheating Jesus, A Heresy, is fear of praying now a Christian thing. God can see into your heart and see your intentions of love or evil.

          • Стефан Евгений

Russians add “through the intercessions of the Theotokos, savior, save us” so it has the same intent. Only begotten of the Father,
is from the Liturgy, and is not a part of the prayer of the heart.

          • Higlac

I know that Christ is neither jealous nor afraid of His Mother; neither is He that “Hungry” – OF COURSE NONE OF THESE THINGS!!!

It’s only a question of that why go through more intermediaries than one must, for those who prefer to be as direct as possible – please, let’s not judge them any more than those who feel it’s all right to go through Mary to Christ thence to the Father for one reason or another. [I.e., it’s more for others than for myself.]

While we’re at it: while I know well the Jesus’ prayer (it’s recorded in the New Testament where beggars and blind men plus others do indeed beg Him for Mercy), I don’t remember the one about “Holy Mary, Mother of God…” being in the Bible…

          • Tom_mcewen

So every thing must be in the bible ?

          • Higlac

            Mr. McEwen:

As I said, this isn’t so much for myself as for others who’re even more Protestant than I (who has in part hesitated between the three branches on account of not wishing to be antagonist to the other two if I join one, whichever one it be).

It’s a way of trying to help to build a bridge on this point so we can have a common minimum code of faith of sorts. Anything that keeps us apart and potentially even fighting each other can never be any good – we need no religious wars or other such evil stuff – have we not learned something? Why despise other Christians if (in your case) they’re Protestant or Orthodox – not Catholics?

[As to me being frightened of Jesus like some “insane Greek god”: aren’t we told that fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom”??]

          • Tom_mcewen

I have no problem with scripture I have a problem with self selection of verses and assigning personal theology to what they mean, without history context and culture. It becomes of stew of poison. It would be nice for a protestant to say I don’t have the background to interpret these verses, perhaps I should see what other men had said throughout the ages. And I stick with the insane Greek God Protestantism has made of Jesus. Jesus is not family, he is not your brother he is God and you are an ant around his massive throne. If God loves he must respect us, because we are made as active agents of his will. Not mind numbed robots waiting for Jesus to do all and we nothing. Maybe we are in the ditch and Jesus will pull us out, but we can help too and struggle and battle to get out our selves. All the great architecture and art that people produced was a gift to God by the best men had, love is a partnership not master and slave. Quoting scripture has replaced the striving of the individual soul with endless theological reading not doing, I do more praying with my paintbrush because I honor God with it, quoting scripture is passive it is a form of death. I find protestantism a true heresy that leads to a God of your own making, just as Peter has been replaced by Paul, the treasures of the lives of prayful men in the church replaced with all I need is jesus and what ball bearing are rolling around the tin bucket of my head. I really don’t like the Jesus of protestantism, I wouldn’t follow him to the head if I had the green trots.

          • Higlac

You say that Protestantism has made an “insane Greek god” of Jesus???

I’ve noticed enough Protestant “churches”, to the contrary, trying to make their services and interiors to be as “homey” as possible with soft seats, carpeting, speaking of God the Father as “Daddy Abba” and other such things to make you feel as if you’re as important as anyone else, either human or divine!!!!

Truly, they’ve in essence been having people to worship NOT God but themselves!!! I can’t possibly see how you can say that they’re elevating Christ in status such that He’s to be “feared” in them.

As to your saying that the lives of “prayerful men in the church” are replaced with “all I need is Jesus”: enough “mainstream-Protestantism” talks NEITHER about holy people OR God!!!! It’s all “me, me, me, me” (plus a few choice projects featuring the local “congregation”) self-IDOLATRY!!! To boot, those same “Protestants” rejoice in their “works” while failing to see them relative to what they truly are supposed to be: filthy rags that need God Working with those trying to do good with and in them.

Also, contemplating and revering the holy people is NO justification whatsoever for virtually worshipping them!!!! You claim that Protestants only believe in revering Christ and want to pray only to Him, rejecting what the Church says: to which I could say that Catholics are apparently doing anything and everything to AVOID praying to God, as if we are so insignificant that only the saints and the Church have access to him and we can as well commit suicide because He Won’t otherwise Care for us!!!! I really feel hurt and angry with such an insinuation; particularly when I remember how with various people (particularly in the Islamic world) it’s NOT the Virgin Mary appearing to them but Christ Himself (e.g., who spoke to Kamal Saleem when he was on the brink of shooting himself when he realised that there was no “allah”??). To boot, in spite of my being educated in both Orthodoxy and Protestantism, in the end it was a Protestant minister who taught me so very, very much in terms of the Christian faith – and he was as godly as I could imagine anybody being. Yet, he never denigrated matters if I spoke of worthy people like Maximilian Kolbe (though he didn’t like Albert Schweitzer).

  • Nan

    You’re ridiculous.

  • Nan

But the New Covenant isn’t about Israel.

  • Michael Lochmoeller

Just so you know, you’re not talking to a catholic. I’m an evangelical. I have friends that are protestants and I have friends that are catholics. But why should that matter? Am I a fool? How do you figure Israel is not Israel? After you prove to me that Israel is not Israel, then you will also have to prove to me that Rome is the antichrist. Are Romans persecuting anyone today? I’m not the greatest historian, but I know that there is a lot of bad blood in history between Islam and Rome. And I know if ISIS or any terror group had the opportunity, they would love to burn Rome to the ground. Obama is evil, and has an anti christ spirit on him, but I don’t think he’s THE antichrist, the son of perdition who is to come.

  • Julie

A few said it also pertains to the papacy where one will be taken before his time….

  • Julie

Correct. Again look at context…The Book of Revelations to encourage the faithful to endure to the end and to know that in the end good triumphs over evil.

  • Correct.

  • Any evidence from history that Rome created Islam?

    • Michael Lochmoeller

Notice she hasn’t answered you yet? She’s only talking to me, and she’s giving me a headache.

      • Ah, you have a new friend! Isn’t that precious?:)

        • Raph Sebastian

Hahaha man I nearly fell off my chair!

          • A little comic relief now and then is good. I also enjoy sarcasm at times.

          • Michael Lochmoeller

I guess I didn’t get the joke, lol

  • Let me post your original remark:

“What a load of… Any-one who still denies Obama is anti-Christ deserves the guillotine!”

    I answered with:

    “Does that include your mother?”

Will you kill your own mother if she refused to believe that Obama is the Antichrist?

    Surprisingly you said “Yes”.

    I rest my case.

  • Besides the spelling errors, anything else you found “annoying”?

  • Tom_mcewen

I don’t need to put my hand on a hot stove more then once. Luther said that “The bible is simple enough for everyone, even a servant girl could understand it” The empirical evidence is there are 40,000 sects of protestantism that disprove this. The religious settlers who came to America in fear of their lives were not fleeing from Catholics, but from Protestants with their God given capacity to understand scripture, the puritans cut off the ears and noses of the Quakers and whipped them from town to town. Luther rejected this belief and considered himself holding the seat of Moses, Zwingli also, Calvin also, today it people like MacArthur. Read Matthew 23.2 the Jews in the synagogue didn’t interpret the scriptures, those in the seat of Moses did, Moses was the interpreter then the judges, God rejected the Kings over the judges of Israel. Protestantism claims it has they Holy Spirit and you couldn’t get an agreement on scripture to save your life. Protestantism is a train wreck. The Catholic Church has the Holy Spirit there is no need for another, Christ said, “He who hears you, hears me”. He didn’t say, “He who hears you Luther Zwingli Calvin………., hears me”. No I don’t have the Holy Spirit, I have in my long life met one person who I believe had the Holy Spirit , it was a Russian Orthodox religious sisters 200+km North West of Moscow, She yes, Protestants never a lot of false witness and slander but the Holy Spirit, never. Give me some empirical evidence that what you claim is true?

  • Dominus

You are typical protestant parrot who is clearly ignorant of history and The Holy Bible itself. You dumbasses hate the true church because you just have a need to I suppose, just irrational hate aimed to wrong address.

I so wish it was protestant lands that faced ottoman onslaught for centuries, instead of us in Southern Europe, and then see you spout nonsense:”It’s Rome and evul Catholics”. You dumb wretch, millions of people, Catholics and Orthodox perished through centuries, only to today have ungrateful heretical bastards like you spill your venom.

They read trash and mix it with Scripture. The leaven they use is infected, and it ruins their worldview.

Christine is giving me a headache…do you have a tylenol?

        • Grandmere

Here is a Tylenol with codeine. Ignore the trolls. If you can’t resist – get snarky. That is always what they accuse me of.

          • Michael Lochmoeller

I don’t want to be snarky if I don’t have to.

          • Grandmere

That’s because you are not old and cranky like Tom and me. You just keep on being the nice young man you are and leave the snark to us. We are past the point of caring. lol

In the parable of the ten virgins, the wise took oil in their vessels. Oil symbolizes the Holy Spirit throughout the Bible. The foolish virgins took NO oil in their vessels with them. All ten proceeded to slumber and sleep. Wise and foolish we’re doing the same thing when the cry went out at midnight, “Behold the bridegroom cometh!!!” They all got up and trimmed their lamps. The foolish couldn’t get their lamps to light. They said to the wise,” Give us of your oil for our lamps are gone out.” The wise said unto the foolish, “Not so, least their be not enough for us. Go unto the merchants and buy for yourselves.” The bridegroom came while they went to buy oil. They that were ready went in, and the door was shut. Then came the foolish knocking at the door, and saying, “Lord, Lord, open unto us.” And the bridegroom said, “I know not whence ye are.”
You are given the Holy Spirit when you first truly believe on Jesus for salvation. When is Spirit comes into us, we KNOW him and He KNOWS us. We got our oil all up front, and were “sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise.” Be a wise bridesmaid, and FLY to Jesus Now. “Behold today is the day of salvation. Now is the acceptable time!!!”
“If any man comes to me, I will in no wise cast out.”

Thanks for confirming what I’ve always suspected: that there must be some future punishment for those that voted for Obama since this act advanced the coming of the Antichrist. I would hate to be a person who has to stand before Jesus and explain why I voted for Obama!

Listen carefully sister, first I do know about the nephilim and that they came from fallen angels. Don’t ever assume to know what I believe. I’m a King James Bible toting heavy weight Pentecostal. And trust me, I know that Bible well. And who are you to judge if I’m saved? You don’t even know me. Do you say that because I have Catholic friends? Am I guilty by association? But I will not cast off Catholics, nor will I cast off Israel. God has a plan for them. Do you also cast off other Protestants who are a different denomination than you? May God judge between us.

But then what is the context….outside or inside Christ’s Church?….and that I gave was what some said….and some think it was JPII as he ruled the Church with a rod of iron, a disciplinarian…was almost assassinated….

We can privately draw on things as was my sharing.

I don’t believe anyone alive right now has the full picture of these events, only the Heavenly Father…my other position, which neither denies or accepts others’….

  • Julie

You should study the history of Christianity from a documented source, not a biased anti Catholic one.

I have a Catholic friend with a master’s in theology. She took a year’s history course and said she found out so much more. I wish I could but cannot take the time.

You should go to a Catholic inquiry class or go to your nearby priest and ask him to provide a good start for you.

  • Julie

You have to compare it with real life and history.

    Circular reasoning. Try again.

    And wrong, to boot.

  • Lovely story, but sadly nothing further from the truth. I loved the father of this child with all my being, & my heart broke with joy the first time I ever saw the child in it’s pram with Nan long before I ever met its father. Nan was living with another man for 12yrs & that was why the father denied paternity! It was I who convinced the child’s grandmother to see that child despite the obvious money grubbing actions Nan had been subjecting the family to, as I knew from that smile & how it affected me that there could only be one father. And the Bentley & Christian baptism was Nan’s own hypocrisy & ideas of grandeur which she then continued on with in her persecution of me despite what I had done for her, because he loved me, even I believe placing a Maori death curse upon me from which I was miraculously resurrected! I use the word bastard in the truest sense & have used the word to describe the other children this man has since had with his common law wife, repeating to him what the Bible says, that no bastards shall enter the kingdom of heaven. I’m sorry that offends you, but my life was truly blighted by the adulteries of others, even causing the death of my father at age 25 when I was only 3 & I find no romantic excuses ever made up for that & no good ever came. Rather I see that those who have children out of wedlock just encourage others to do so & death follows as night follows day.

True. What I can’t or never will understand is, how can they go on with slander like that? When facts on the ground prove them wrong on almost daily basis now. Throwing outrageous accusations without any evidence in scripture or by actual actions on the ground to prove their insanity, is just ludicrous and dangerous, especially for them themselves in the end.

Some people have totally gone crazy and are insane.

  • Flame blue

Ok. You want to believe we are a species apart. Some would say we are higher than angels as we are God’s children. On Earth as humans we are lower than Angels but not in heaven.

  • Grandmere

He is on very dangerous ground. I hope he will listen to us.

  • Trevor

Mary gave birth to Christ. It’s that simple.

  • Michael Lochmoeller

I think the biggest problem that we protestants have is ignorance of church history. Protestants are generally not taught history of the church. I am trying to become less ignorant of church history, but have to do so on my own. You make a point that I have already been pondering and praying about lately.

  • Julie

I am sticking with the Universal Church that has apostolic succession.

  • Julie

    Don’t understand about re working.

Some say we have works…when it is the sacraments….where Christ personally ministers to us.

  • Julie

My scripture theologian in parish said in ancient times Revelations was written in code for those suffering great persecutions…that is 2000 years ago and trust the long documented history of our faith.

You have to go back to documentation to see how people worshipped….

Check out St. Justin the Martyr’s description of the Mass to the emperor of rome in 154 AD explaining how the Mass was celebrated across the entire ancient Christian world.

  • Julie

    Origen is considered heretic.

The Holy Spirit is the Third Person of the Holy Trinity and not an impersonal gust of wind.

Best you get yourself a Catholic Catechism, go one doctrine at a time, and see the footnotes and references to Scripture, councils, theologians.

  • Julie

The Church is broader…but as to what happens beyond this physical reign of Christ, there are two forms of thought…one of them metaphorical…
and i prefer to live in faith and not get beyond myself.

No…I don’t see solid foundation of faith outside the Universal Church, but a sense of incertitude and opposition.

The first vocation of ours is to enter into communion of the Holy Trinity.

  • Filip,

Thank you for your message and for your gift to Rescue Christians. You do not need to be re-baptized as you were already baptized in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. All you need to do is keep away from sin and keep the faith until departing or the Lord comes. Keep me posted on your progress. God bless.
