A television host was told during his program – by his bosses, who obviously do what the president tells them to do – that his show’s content was unacceptable and that the program had to end. This angered the host, who went on a Howard Beale-style rant about how the President has no right to censor programming content. The host wrapped up his rant by resigning to applause from the rest of the panel.
You might think that such a scenario would unfold at a place like NBC, CBC, ABC, or CNN but nope, this happened in Egypt (h/t BNI):
Inspired by… Howard Beale?
