Muslims stormed a church in Iraq and kidnapped two Christian priests and a nun. As we read from one report:
Sunni militants stormed a church in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul on Sunday and kidnapped two priests and a nun, witnesses said.
Another report tells us:
One of the church’s workers said that unidentified gunmen on Sunday morning stormed the nuns’ church in the Okua (brotherhood) area and kidnapped the priest and a nun and took them to an unknown destination, NINA reported.
A Mid-East report states:
Insurgents stormed a religious place in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul yesterday and kidnapped two priests and a nun, witnesses said.
The militants have in recent weeks seized large parts of northern and western Iraq, including Mosul, as well as a string of towns stretching south towards Baghdad.
The group also took control of parts in eastern Syria, and claim to have opened the borders between the two countries to establish their own state.
