DHS official David Myers was sent to Oklahoma this weekend to visit and praise the mosque attended by Alton Nolen, a Muslim who beheaded a woman and began stabbing another before he was stopped, on September 25th. While there, Myers read a statement from Barack Obama. It said:

“Your service is a powerful example of the powerful roots of the Abrahamic faiths and how our communities can come together with shared peace with dignity and a sense of justice.”

In recent days, a man claiming to have attended the mosque gave an interview in which he insisted hateful rhetoric is a hallmark of the Islamic Society of Greater Oklahoma City (ISGOC) as reported by Shoebat.com. The former Imam of ISGOC – Suhaib Webb – is currently the Imam at the Boston mosque attended by one or both of the Boston Marathon bombers.

Webb has also been identified as an Imam with the Muslim American Society (MAS). This group was founded by a man named Shaker Elsayed, who admitted it was a Muslim Brotherhood organization. Elsayed is currently the Imam at the Dar al-Hijrah mosque in Falls Church, VA. One of Elsayed’s predecessors at Dar al-Hijrah was Anwar al-Awlaki, who was the Imam there during the 9/11 attacks; three of the 9/11 hijackers attended Dar al-Hijrah as well.

Moreover, Webb has spoken at ISGOC as recently as last year.

Also having a significant presence at the Oklahoma mosque is CAIR, another group that has been identified as a Muslim Brotherhood front. Here is a KFOR news report featuring Myers’ attendance at ISGOC:
