The United States has agreed to send 1000 troops to Poland in order to defend against Russian “aggression,” while the Russians have been intensifying military activity in Kaliningrad, a Russian territory bordering Poland, an action which has been to the trepidation of the Poles. Kaliningrad used to be a German territory and it was only until at the end of WW2 that it was dominated by Germans. Meanwhile France and Italy are rivaling over North Africa.
