A man murdered an 11-week-old puppy, named “Sparky,” in an incredibly cruel way. He smashed the puppy repeatedly with a hammer and then killed it by cooking it alive in a microwave. During the entire time he took photos and video that he posted online which lead to his arrest:
Cops in Northern Ireland have launched a massive animal cruelty probe after the little mutt Sparky was killed.
Online reports claimed the 11-week-old animal was bludgeoned with the weapons and placed in a microwave.
Police in Craigavon have charged a 23-year-old man on suspicion of causing unnecessary suffering to an animal.
A 16-year-old boy has been released pending further enquiries.
Officers believe that the puppy was killed on Saturday and there were reports that horrific video and images were posted on Snapchat.
In a statement, PSNI Craigavon said: “If you have seen any footage or photographs of the incident (NOT just screen shots of conversations and allegations) then we need to hear from you.
“If you happened to screen shot or record any videos that were sent, we need them.
“That will be the difference between an evidential case and pure hearsay.
“Whatever happened, it is obvious that little Sparky suffered a horrendous death.
“We want to get to the bottom of that and make sure that whoever is responsible is held to account.
“The incident number is 1135 of 05/02/18. If you can assist us with this investigation, call 101 now!”
The case has led to hundreds of comments on Facebook, reports the Belfast Telegraph.
One said: “I just hope this is rumour, and it didn’t happen to that poor wee pup.”
