A week after demanding the Egyptian government free female Muslim prisoners in exchange for a Croatian hostage, Tomislav Salopek, Sinai Province of the Islamic State (IS) published a photo of his beheaded body.
The confirmation of his killing is on the photo with the ISIS Sinai logo which stated: “The killing of the Croatian” “After his nation partnered to war against ISIS and after the duration was over. His government abandoned him including Egypt which defected [from Islam]”

Salopek was kidnapped July 22 in the area of Cairo, according to his employer and the Croatian government.
Prior to his martyrdom, Shoebat.com obtained a video which was released by ISIS holding the Christian Salopek who came from Croatia saying that if Egypt does not release Islamic terrorists in the next 48 hours from prison that they will behead him. Here is the video, in which Tomislav spoke in English about his two children and his wife, Natasha prior to his execution:
Tomislav worked for a French geoscience firm. “We are making all the efforts to resolve the difficult situation of the Croatian citizen T.S.,” said the Croatian Foreign Ministry on Wednesday.
As it seems, his fate was martyrdom. Rescue Christians has been attempting to reach out to his widow through contacts who know him to offer help. Pray for his family.
