After today’s elections, there are only 622 delegates left. Ted Cruz needs 677 to win the nomination.
Ted Cruz’s campaign is a dead man walking. He is mathematically finished.
To the contrary, Trump has 922 delegates- he only needs 315 to win the nomination.
Trump is the only Republican candidate who can actually win both the nomination and election.
However, now is a dangerous time. The establishment- meaning both Republicans and Democrats- are scared of Trump and will do anything to stop him. They have already admitted that the delegates “don’t matter” and they will not give the nomination to Trump:
I will add this: I would not put it past these people to have Trump assassinated. These men are consumed with lust for their own petty share of power and would see their nation and even their own futures destroyed before relinquishing their claims.
