Abu Omar al-Shisani

ISIS has now declared praise for the slaughter of people in Nice, French. According to tweets made by an ISIS spokesman, the killings in France were done in revenge for the killing of Abu Omar al-Shishani, a major Chechen jihadist in Iraq who coordinated many killings of Christians. Here is the statement:
This is the beginning of the attack to take the holy revenge for the killing of Abu Omar Shishani, may Allah accept him … The spark of the attacks on the name of Abu Omar Shishani has just begun from France, the next will be worse and bitter.
I spoke about Abu Omar al-Shisani just a few days ago, talking about how he was brutal in his conducting of massacres of Christians. One Chechen Muslim named Zurab who fought under Shishani (only to later regret it in shame) recounted Shisani’s reign of terror against Christians:
“They were extremely brutal, killing women and the elderly who did not obey them. They abused and mutilated their dead bodies. They cut up the corpses, tied them to the back of the cars and dragged them along,” Zurab said.
Christians were killed on the spot, without a word spoken, he added.
“They would find them and publically execute them. I witnessed many executions,” Zurab recounted.
This slaughter in France was done in hatred of Christianity. Nice is a city that has been touched by the most holy saints, Mary, Martha, and Lazarus. It was evangelized by St. Barnabas, who was sent by St. Paul himself. Once the French realize that this war is about Christianity, and not about some sick and dying secular values, then that is when they will take their country back for the glory of the Cross! When the Muslims invaded France in the eighth century, one of the things they wanted to destroy was the Church of St. Martin. As the Muslims of the past wanted to invade France to destroy Christianity, so they are attacking France today to destroy Christianity. The French need to revive Christian militancy, and they will have to do so no matter what!
