The Coming Beheading Of Christians Will Spread Globally With The Rise Of Populism As Biblical Prophecies And Current Trends Reveal. Turkey, Austria, Germany, France, Japan to Poland, the Philippines, and Peru, the so-called populists are on the rise

By Walid Shoebat (Shoebat Sunday Special, continuation of Part I, Part II)

Reading Revelation 20:4 reveals that Antichrist will genocide Christians by beheading them. While many know this, so few examine how the world will get to this point. Will such massive beheading only occur on Muslim soil who are accustomed to beheading? While Islam prescribes beheading, yes, but it is Turkey’s “populist” movement that is reviving Islam. But what about the growing European populism? Is it immune from heading towards that direction where you will witness beheadings, just as we have seen in Syria and in Iraq? In Europe the beheadings will dwarf anything that you have seen in the Middle East.

Enter a shocker. Christians will be beheaded in east (the Muslim world) and west (Europe).

Populism is sweeping throughout the world. I will explain it from A, how it deceives, to Z, how it will ultimately remove all the power pegs stopping Antichrist’s rise to power and how it will create the perfect conditions, where when Christians are beheaded, even you, many of my readers, are very likely not to shed a tear.

You think its impossible to transform you into a callous lawless little tyrant? Think again.

Christ mandated that for one to be Christian they need to be “as wise as serpents”.

Perhaps an example from man’s best friend might help simplify what I mean by ‘populism’. I need to cover “A” (the pudding) before I get to “Z” (the meat).

To rob a home guarded by a fierce watchdog, Myth Busters concluded that throwing it a steak will keep it occupied. This gives the thief just the time he needs to enter. The trick will work, unless of course, the dog is professionally trained to ignore steaks during a break-in.

But how many dogs are trained to ignore the steak? Answer: very very few.

Think of populism in the same way. The populist agenda (the thieves) understand that the only way to unmask them is by training all the puppies “the people”. This is impossible to do.

What populism says is this: corrupt elitists run the nation and its time for the people to take control.

Truth is, throughout history, and in every form of government, there you will always find a handful of thieves standing in the upper balcony, while we will always find the rest “the people” sit in the square below with little room to breath.

Get it through your thick skulls. The balcony only fits a handful of people. The less smart who put the elites on the balcony need to be in the square below and getting all these dumb crowds on the upper balcony will only collapse the entire building

Populism and its agenda knows that only trained watchdogs can spot the bait. But these are so few. All other puppies bite the bait of the propagandist, hook, line and sinker, believing the populist propagandist. So all of the sudden “the people” begin to believe that they are all trained purebred K9 pedigree. With populism, every mutt believes that they are all worthy to guard, bark and even point who is and who is not an intruder and bite at will.

But its time Christians become trained watchdogs by understanding three rules:

RULE #1: POPULISM IS NOT ABOUT “THE PEOPLE”
The first key in this lesson is this; populist planners realize one hurdle for Christians to sniff their agenda; being conservative, the most difficult time to expose populism to other conservatives is during the time its most popular: now.

Telling the excited masses, that populism is simply a bait, will only gain you shouts of “hang him high on the gallows in social media square”.

After the thief enters, populist organizers realize there is another hurdle for the trained watchdog; a coward is mute during a tyranny in progress, and he only exposes it after it is defeated, so that his heroic-speech is recognized by his peers.

So even after the thief enters, these promoters realize that few will speak out. Who after all wants to be labeled as “against the people” who after all wants to be viewed as against “stopping the Islamization of the West”?

But I too am “for the people,” and I too, want to “stop the Islamization of the West”.

But I am also against populism’s hijacking of these noble causes.

Populist politicians will use everything. Nothing goes to waste. They will use misery, genocide, even noble and great causes, as the steak for the people. They gulp up smaller movements, even partner with opposite views than their own, so long they agree on the main slogans. They will partner with Christians, pagans, socialists, conservatives … whomever … it does not matter. In their worldview the end always justifies the means.

But here, we will remove the ‘bullshitism’ and undress populism’s discursive versatility and behavioral chameleonism and only then, when we parade it in the nude, then it becomes obvious, that it is nothing more than a set of contradictions; its “anti-elitism” only creates new elites who will act as if they alone are “the people”.

With populism, its the new elitists sitting in the upper balcony who become “the people”.

For example, populist Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan declaring at a party congress in defiance of his numerous domestic critics said, “We are the people. Who are you?”

Where his secular Turkish opponents not “the people”?

So in reality, populism has nothing to do with ‘people’ and all to do with representing a different set of values.

And it doesn’t matter if these new values appear conservative-right, left, or a mishmash of both, Islamist or Fascist, these new values then become superior to the current values.

Populism is “King people” which has always been proved to be the worst form of governing. It always contradicts what it claims and is never what it says it is.

Throughout history, old and current, and in every populist experiment, it is pride and not race (as National Socialist believe) or class (as Marxists believe) that is elevated. Real wages always ended up lower than they were at the beginning. While populism claims to want to remove ‘too much politics’, its history brought mass politics. Even the populists crusade against corruption (draining the swamp), often engenders more corruption.

Keep in mind that Marxist revolution is based on class, while National Socialism is based on race. So the far left in Europe is Marxists, which is classist, while the far right are national socialist racists.

While some argue that Latin America ended its populism, reality is what ended is the “super populism” of Venezuela and Ms Fernández’s Argentina, while the continent simply returned back to its “original populism” that has characterised much of Latin America’s recent history.

However it is defined, from Turkey, Austria, Germany, France, Japan and the United States, to Poland, the Philippines, and Peru, the so-called neo-conservative populists are on the rise, while the chaos in Venezuela and Mexico is experiencing violence and mob lynching by “the people” on the streets.

Today this is a typical scene in Venezuela. In this one, Venezuelans observed an alleged rapist without a trial after being lynched by the mob in Caracas.

The other key that populist leadership knows, is that the masses rarely study history. Populism caused the German Peasants War. It resulted from the Protestant Reformation, which ended up with massacres and civil unrest when the urban population wanted the removal of the “elites”.

Populism also caused the “English Revolution,” (English Civil Wars and Commonwealth 1640–1660) another war, which ended up with a lack of significant social change for the people, followed by a ten-year period of “bourgeois republican” government called the “Commonwealth” (the new elites).

It ended up with the old ruling class who came back with new ideas and new outlooks, which were attuned to economic growth and expansion and facilitated in the long run the development of a fully capitalist economy.

But all this crept into the French Revolution (the bloodiest in Europe) of 1789. It was a struggle for political, economic and religious power, waged by the middle class, the bourgeoisie, which grew in wealth and strength as capitalism developed.

In reality it was not led by “the people” but by the wealthy intellectuals who were the cause for all this manifestation of supposed populist sentiment against the elitist excesses (the swamp).

So it wasn’t really about “the people” but an agenda to remove and replace the Church.

These new elitists, then used nationalism by positing the people as a “mystical unity” and the driving force of history, in which the divinity finds its purpose, that the French since they were a “special people” because of their equality, liberty, and fraternity; this pride-building made the French believe that they can never be wrong. It caused a massive shift of power from the Roman Catholic Church to the state were populists complained that the church owned 10% of the land.

We all know how the guillotine stood as the principal symbol of the Terror in the French Revolution.

There is where the people ended up on the ‘upper balcony’

RULE #2: POPULISM IS ABOUT REMOVING THE OBSTACLES TO USHER ANTICHRIST
But it is this type, the ideological populism, that is most concerning. That is what is currently rising in Europe and Turkey. Prophecy reveals:

“…and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and who had not worshiped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands …” (Revelation 20:4)

It is obvious that we are seeing markings, neopagan tattoos on arms these days spreading throughout Europe.

But there is another key to unlocking what is happening. With the European racist identitarian strand of populism, the end result will not be patriotism, but racial divisiveness, where what emerges is the transformation of the populist planners (not the people) to become this new ‘elite’.

But one thing needs to be taken into consideration as to how we will get to ‘beheading’.

One of the differences between tyranny and liberty is the treatment of minorities. Wth all these Identitarian movements focus on race, this will remove the sense of charity and compassion towards all other races, be they Egyptian Copts, Armenians, Assyrian Christians, Jews …

So by abandoning the idea that the greatness of a nation can easily be measured by its treatment of minorities, Christians and Jews living as minority, when massacred, the populist will not shed a tear.

While populism festers in Europe, and to a lesser degree in the U.S., where it will end up creating a Nazistic fifth column within the structure of U.S. society.

And it is not about combating Muslim immigration as the mutts are told. It is about feeding pride to whomever believes they are purebred German shepherds, to make believe, they deserve the steak more than all the other breeds be they Muslim, Jew or foreigner Christians.

The current strand of European populism is really about pure unadulterated racism. This is especially true when their moderate apologists say that their movement is “not about racism”. Racism in fact, is the signature of the nationalism assumed by the National Front from France, the North League in Italy, the Flemish Block and recently the New Flemish Alliance in Belgium, SVP in Switzerland, the Austrian FPÖ, and the Dutch PVV.

These propose a type of nostalgia for a mythical world of racial and cultural homogeneity.

And to create the perfect alibi for Germany to usher this sad course of events, it introduced mass immigration of Muslim refugees. This was another key element to cement their populist cause. The trained smart dogs know that populism in Europe is not about Muslim immigration as claimed, but the ushering in of fascism as a value to replace the current values by using the excuse “Muslim immigration”.

For example, the Flemish Block proclaims the principle “eigen volk eerst” (the indigenous must be the first), which leads to a complete separation from Belgium – Flanders of the Flemish, Wallonia of the Walloons (the Francophones), Europe of the Europeans (whites).

This is not about combating Muslim immigration. Its about proclaiming that there is Jew, and then there is Gentile.

This is key to understand the shift and the change of theology that is permeating and accepting the paganistic form.

While the trend of right-wing populist parties is to denounce Islam as the evil “other,” they also seek to explore variation among populist discourses and strategies concerning religion.

The populists in Europe oppose traditional faiths and church leaders. And just as the Nazis did, there were neopagans celebrating the strength of pre-Christian Europe, prominent neopagans alongside conservative Catholics were involved in the founding of the French Front National.

And in Austria, the FPÖ had a strong anti-clerical component. The Lega Nord in Italy even promoted neo-pagan rituals. In the Netherlands the Lijst Pim Fortuyn (LPF; Pim Fortuyn List) and the PVV gave zero precedence to Christian values over libertarian views on ethical, economic, and social issues.

While church leaders are said to be considered part of society, these conflict with the church and only use Christian symbols for show.

The Italian Lega Nord cultural base is neo-pagan, made of Celtic crosses and veneration of the god Odin in which they administer every year the purification rites.

Smart dogs need to pay attention, populists speak of identity while true churches speak of faith.

While European populism calls to stop “the Islamization of Europe” by banning headscarves and the construction of mosques and campaigns to prohibit circumcision and halal food in Norway, the victim in the end will be two groups: Jews and Christians.

Most puppies don’t think. They simply chomp at the steak. Jews also have circumcision and ritual slaughter of animals which is also being challenged in Norway and Germany.

And with the new racial identity, the Jews and foreign immigrant Christians into Europe are also made to feel like outsiders.

Moreover, if a mosque is a worship center, the church where communion is observed, is also a worship center. Whatever they will inflict on a mosque they will also inflict on a church.

In Europe, there is pagan creeds mixed with racism and ethnocentric ideas where neo-Pagan “völkisch” nationalists and Catholic nationalists unite.

So how could the idea of a European federation of ethnic, unite with Catholics who should cling to the concept of the multi-ethnic Nation-State? This should not be the case, unless, Catholics are abandoning key theological concepts.

Christ marked the ends of days as an era of deception where false prophets will “deceive (if possible) even the elect” (Matthew 24:24). And so who has deceived these masses to abandon true theology? Is it exclusively the Muslim who is doing this?

Here we have western (not Muslim) pagan movements, oriented towards the right, influenced by anarchism, ecology and alternative thinking uniting with identitarian, anti-egalitarian who are to fight against the egalitarian and universalist ideas of Christianity described as “Jewish” and “eastern” while Kek and the Sun gods imported from Egypt (eastern) is okay.

Today we have Identity Churches or the World Church of the Creator, which were created in the United States and later became popular among the European neo-Nazis, including the skinheads. But it is also the core of the ideology of the so-called “New Right”, a movement which has its roots in the French think-tank, GRECE (Groupement de Recherches et d’Etudes pour la Civilisation Européenne), launched in 1968, by Alain de Benoist. GRECE distinguishes itself from other traditionalist conservative organizations in displaying specific interest for Germanic and Nordic cultures, rejection of Christianity and monotheism, and advocating neopaganism.

This later spread across Western Europe.

Therefore, European Populism will be the major causer of persecution. Similar to Russian populism, which was anti-czarist-elites and industrialization in the 1860s only became the pre-Marxist socialists which brought in communism. This too killed millions of Christians.

Similarly was the Armenian Genocide, were the populist eugenists “Young Turks,” just like in Nazi Germany massacred millions of Christians.

Then we had National Socialist populism, which also interacted with and facilitated fascism in interwar Germany. And this is exactly what is reoccurring again. Distressed middle–class populists, during the pre-Nazi Weimar period, mobilized their anger at government and big business using demagoguery, scapegoating, and conspiracism.

Just like today, they sounded ‘right’ for the conservative, since Nazis expressed anti-Marxist (class) mobilization. National Socialists (race based) cast themselves as representatives of the commonwealth of the “betrayed and neglected German public” celebrating the populist ideal of the people’s community.

We all know too well the holocausts of Nazi Germany where millions of Catholic Polish and Jews were liquidated.

DONALD TRUMP: THE BOOST TO GLOBAL POPULISM
But now we have U.S. populists, which leads us to Donald Trump. It would be a misconception to brand Trump as a populist Alt-Righter. He did not mind gaining their support, true, but while Trump definitely used populist jargon to win, Trump’s actions revealed he was not this purebred populist. He in fact, somewhat upset this group by simply combining the same old ‘republican guards’, while appointing one of their Alt-Right idols; Steve Bannon of Breitbart.

Trump did this to simply appease the worshipers of Pepe the frog to gain their votes just as he appeased the gays and the Hindus.

However, the populist jargon Trump used caused massive confidence buildup throughout Europe, Russia, Turkey and the U.S., boosting the populist cause dramatically to a point of no return, where the world will not be the same until Kingdom come.

In reality, this is Trump’s first accomplished legacy. He used populism to win because this was the trend globally.

All this boosted the most concerning strand, European populism, which is coming across as anti-immigration and anti-elite.

RULE #3: IT IS ABOUT REMOVING THE PEGS GOD INSTALLED THAT HAS PREVENTED THE RISE OF ANTICHRIST
But regardless how populism is defined, the current Latin American strand of populism as left, or western populism as conservative Idenitarian right, or Russian pre-communist populism as pre-Marxism, or Turkish populism as neo-Ottoman; reality is that populism is sweeping the globe and is simply another form for revolution pitting the people against the political establishment to enforce a set of values over the current set of values established by Christians.

This is true no matter where you look. Even in Turkey’s neo-Ottoman movement, this is what Erdogan’s populism was all about.

After the west defeated the Ottomans, Christendom established The Sykes–Picot Agreement (the Asia Minor Agreement) in 1916, between Great Britain and France to which the Russian Empire assented to break down the Ottoman Empire during World War I, into spheres of influence and control of Muslim Southwestern Asia, and later established a Christian set of values to govern the defeated Muslim world.

After it was all done, from Egypt to Turkey, western civilization thrived with laws and arts that reflected Christian values while Islam was suppressed and the Muslim Brotherhood were viewed as outdated polygamists.

And what we see today in the latest wave of populism, in both east and west, is the replacement of current Christian values.

With Turkey, its to advance Islamic supermacy over western style values that honor human rights. With Europe its about initially advancing a moderate form of neo-fascism, neo-nazism and neopaganism, in hope to gain power first, and then the unrest that follows against Jews and Christians should be most concerning. With Latin America, it was about democratic socialism which is on its way out and the old populism simply got back in.

In reality, populism was no steak, but a hydrogen bomb, detonated by suicide bombers who are simply no-body groups and arm-chair revolutionaries extending their reaches into the hauls of power.

The shockwave will soon be re-gutting several political systems and now the whole world, where the populist radioactive dust and ash, will be carried by the wind of social media (in the next few years) into the four corners of the globe.

Therefore, trained elitist dogs understand populism by what it is, while the untrained mutts believe they are pedigree, when they are not, these understand populism by what it is not, and is why these view us as ‘enemy’ and use vulgar terms that we should be fed to the lions in the arena.

In Europe, the most concerning strand is the ethnocratic liberalism embracing the liberal system of political and economic competition, but considers, at the same time, only the members of an ethnic group as being full members of society.

Whether its American, Russian, Turkish or European populists, all these use political hypnotism. They talk of “the people” converting them by capitalizing on their fears, while promising them a utopia they made up from the figments of their own imaginations. They tell the masses that they will govern in the name of “the people”. Reality is that when populists win, the promoters will only make more ‘puppets’ of the very elite state power that the people complained so much about.

And we see this today in all the rhetoric, whether Russia, Turkey, Europe or the U.S., its a shift towards a simplistic and even a vulgar form of political populism, where the solutions demanded for problems are naive.

For example, if we have a problem with the NATO nation of lets say Turkey, the western populist will cry out “dissolve NATO” or they will shout “throw Turkey out of NATO”.

And it all sounds good for the untrained patriot American puppy.

But these give out simplistic solutions without considering that NATO was formed to grip nations like Turkey, to be under western control. A good dog trainer will know that when NATO was being formed, the participation of the United States was thought necessary both to counter the military power of the USSR and to prevent the revival of nationalist militarism.

NATO in other words, was formed to prevent past tyrannies. This is also just as true for the E.U which grips Germany under the control of other European states, lest Germany again goes out of hand as it did during Nazism.

Take out these power pegs established by Christendom and what you have is the lifting of the very powers that have held these old wounded beasts (the Ottomans, Nazis, Fascists, Imperial Japan) and kept them at bay.

That is why its crucial to understand the big picture. Their ambition is not only against the Jew (Jerusalem), but also Rome.

The Ottomans have failed to conquer the Vatican and abolish “the covenant of the sanctuary” in the first rise, but on their second rise, these will succeed to unite with these other elements in Europe, to even attack the fallen church in Europe who “forsaken the covenant of the sanctuary” (Daniel 11:30).

Daniel 11:30 is key which reveals that nature of WWIII.

So now we conclude the significance of all this. St. Augustine explains

“Such a one who merely commands, let him command, until he shall be taken from the midst; that is, abolished, and then the wicked one will be revealed, whom no one questions means Antichrist.”

Who is this one to be “abolished”? How is this all happening?

You are already watching it happen right before your very eyes.

In fact, most of you are even supporting it. It is about deceiving the elect, remember?

So to conclude, we must again revisit II Thessalonians II, where Paul reminds:

“For the mystery of iniquity already worketh; only that he who now holdethdo hold, until he be taken out of the way. And then that wicked one shall be revealed…” (2 Thess 2:7-8)

The fathers unanimously interpreted that the restrainer involves the loss of the Holy Roman Empire, which restrained heresy.

Indeed. It is no longer “holy” and is turning into a pagan empire where Christianity is mixing with paganism.

And how was this done? Populism.

Rome will lose its effect, as we clearly see from Paul and Isaiah 19 where Christ comes to destroy the pagan idols.

The holiness of the Roman Europe is partially destroyed by Muslims and revolutions from within between Nazi and saint, which we already see brewing the rise of an Alt Right in Europe. The very Holy Roman Empire, many accuse of having been the seat of Antichrist, was the restraining agent, until it is lost to be under the Antichrist.

Luther’s interpretations have been set in reverse of the truth. The Restrainer must be demonstrated to have been active since the time of St. Paul “he who know holdeth” (standing firm) do hold, “until” that is throughout the Church history, until the Antichrist appears, to be an effective agent ‘holding fast’ to the Apostolic Tradition, which is the sole bulwark against the final apostasy must therefore become absent, where the mainstream Church must already have become apostate or fallen into apostasy. So just as it happened at the time of Antiochus Epiphanies, it will also happen in the church, where they will sacrifice to pagan idols. This will continue until Judas Maccabees come (Christ).

Secular society too must experience unprecedented lawlessness and a revolt against all that is godly. The restrainer will be absent from his office, allowing the Rebel Antichrist to launch his rebellion forthrightly in the Church and on the earth.

Lawlessness “mystery of iniquity already worketh,” in the supernatural sense, ‘the spirit of antichrist’ has been working since Christ founded the Church on Peter, making an immediate attack on Peter’s headship.

No human could live long enough to cover a time period which now stretches out over two thousand years except the Papacy, which St. Peter in Galatians 1:18 uses the Grecisised Cephas (Aramaic Kepha) rather than the Greek Petros (Πέτροσ). This is ‘The Rock,” the foundation that is removed out of the way.

This is why Christ called it “Rock”. It is the peg that holds fast the Faith.

II Thessalonians gives the key,  making so clear on how to “stand firm” “stand fast” and remain in the true faith to prevent oneself from falling away. This is so clear in 2 Thessalonians 2:

Therefore, brethren, stand fast; and hold the traditions which you have learned, whether by word, or by our epistle. (2 Thess 2:15)

Is it no wonder why the word “tradition” is so hated by all who say Vatican is Antichrist, when so clearly, as clear as the sun shines, God shines His truth for all to hold fast and avoid the grand deception by holding on to Scripture and Tradition.

Had Turkey’s populist AKP Party led by Erdogan been serious about joining the E.U, they would have reformed Turkey’s human rights record and they would have been welcomed long ago. But reality is that Germany’s populists would like to see a different Europe, just as the neo-Ottomans, would like to see a different Muslim world. And this is exactly what each of these populist movements want, be they German populists, Turkey’s populists or Japan’s populists.

And when all this is fulfilled, all what populism will do, is to take the people on a trip, circling backwards in history, while they are being further stripped, to only return back to the exact starting point, but this time they will be completely naked of all basic rights with no steak to eat.

The populist elites, just like the elites before them, are always up on the balcony, while the multitudes are still in the square way below. If people understood that only one sperm fertilizes the egg, he will cease to be populist. Notice there is only one sperm at the microphone.

This is why Christians need to view God’s strategy. In God’s strategy, the key is to show there is only good versus evil and that there is nothing new under the sun. That it is not always a case of ‘conservative’ versus ‘liberal’. It was conservatives after all, that conspired to kill Jesus Who gave a prophetic example of the good Samaritan over the Pharisee.

Christianity at times, will give latitude to liberals who at times can also expose evil better than many biased conservatives who sold out on single instructions regarding the faith. Beware when someone says that “all media (except theirs) is corrupt” for such vulgar statement is in itself ‘corrupt’.

Christianity is neither right or left, it has a set of pillars and it prohibits removing a single peg lest the whole structure falls.

With Europe’s populism, that one peg is “there is neither Jew nor Greek”.

Thats it.

Populism is not what it claims to be. It has little to do with ‘people’ and more to do with representing a set of values claiming it to be superior to the current values.

Lets get one thing straight, populism is not nationalism or even anti-multiculturalism, for it loves Japan’s imperialist pagan tradition and ancient Egypt’s paganism.

Populism is not going back to heritage as claimed, remember, its a contradiction. Unlike true nationalism, populism claims to be anti-establishment. Reality is it wants a new establishment, with an old set of values predating the history of the nation.

Populism promotes authoritarianism and nativism for it rejects ‘ordinary people of foreign descent’ and formulates demands in the name of ‘the people’ by herding them to believe that the powerless can now become powerful (pride) by simply opposing ‘the elite’.

Therefore, “anti-multiculturalism” is a steak that the masses are swallowing (much more on that next week). So for the New Right, the rebirth of authentic European values, it is only possible if the peoples of the continent go back to their roots by refusing multiculturalism and dropping the Christian values which they claim was imposed upon them.

But turning the crucifix into a cultural symbol serves to detach us from faith, religious practices and their spiritual content.

All the focus on ridding the system of minority rights, emphasizing on nativism, favoring mono-culturalism over multiculturalism, all this ends up with what was already experimented and failed miserably: Nazism, Fascism, Ottomanism, Japanism, Pharaohnism, Nordicism … its all paganism.

And how you can usually recognize them is simple: their apologists will always say that they are not racist. This is usually a sign that they are. So when they trumpet “we are not Nazis,” this is a sign that they are the face of the moderate Nazis, just as the Muslim Brotherhood and CAIR are the face of moderate Islamists.

One can usually recognize them by their claims of what they are not.

Great article. This puppy has but one little bone to pick. While NATO and the EU may have been formed to suppress past tyrannies, both have utterly failed and should be removed. The US does all the work in NATO, contradicting its purpose, and the EU has become a tyranny unto itself. Ironically, Germany has more control of Europe through the EU than it would without it. Nothing has been done to punish Turkey for their behavior, nor to effect its cessation. In my opinion, organizations like NATO and the EU only serve to obscure the true nature of nations such as Germany, Austria, and Turkey. And “international cooperation” will never change them.

    • I guess time will tell Deus.It will soon unfold, but in the long run I think am right on this one.

      • Christendom

Walid, there is no question you are right about this:

“The fathers unanimously interpreted that the restrainer involves the loss of the Holy Roman Empire, which restrained heresy.

Indeed. It is no longer “holy” and is turning into a pagan empire where Christianity is mixing with paganism.”

The rise and fall of Nato and the EU big picture, on the other hand is largely inconsequential. It’s the loss of Christ and Church and their place in our culture and society that is propelling the western world into the abyss.

As you’ve already noted, the truth isn’t left or right, it is Catholic; neither globalism nor racialism is the answer to our ills. Both of them are part of the wide gate and broad road that leads to destruction.

Overall this has been a fabulous and poignant series of articles. The only point I’m making is to remember to stay anchored in the “center.” Our fight is about right versus left, globalism versus nationalism. It’s about good versus evil.

        God Bless

        • Indeed Christendom. Walking a tight rope can only be done if we remain in the center or else we sway and fall 😉

          • Christendom

If it wasn’t for the Divine Mercy of God (e.g. the Sacrament of Confession) not a single one of us would make it to the other side of that tightrope! 😉

Indeed, time will tell sir. Perhaps I would just prefer the lines to be clearly drawn, as they were 100 years ago. I tire of this masquerade. When friend and foe are blurred, the results are never desirable.

And at the stone core of populism rests “Me-ism”. Yet another reason to deny ourselves, take up our cross and follow Christ.

It appears populism is like a gallon of rich, velvety chocolate ice cream… looks good, smells good… the ice cream lovers and chocoholics are digging in but don’t realize that there’s been a teaspoon of dog crap mixed into it… probably because no one bothered to ask who made the ice cream nor who put it out for everyone’s enjoyment… so, all-the-while, they are enjoying this rich and lovely ice cream, they don’t realize they’re really being fed a bunch of sh*t, and have become full of it themselves…

As you said, Mr Shoebat, we’ve gotta be wise as serpents and gentle as doves… if we let our guard down, we risk getting sucked into something we won’t be able to get out of very easily and risk losing our character, morals and ultimately our souls because of it…

I don’t understand why so many “Christians” jump on worldly bandwagons and try to join their causes and organizations and desire so badly to be recognized and accepted by secular-humanists… they are NEVER going to like us and what we stand for, they are never going to accept us as we are… they will only do so after we compromise our core beliefs and standards… but once we compromise then we’re compromised and our salt loses it’s flavor… everyone has it backwards, there isn’t anything wrong with us if the world hates us, Jesus told us that, there is something wrong with us if the world accepts us…

seems to me that qa pettern exists, first train the people, get ideas neopaganism for instance or things that morph into it, or islam in some lands thrughtout the culture, or in Christian lands change the focus from Christ to society and civilization and a touch of ethnos.
then, when a large enough amount of people will go in this direction, bring in populism and the democratic result is whatever a sizeable number of the people have accepted as good. which can be bad.

I think I have only one minor point of contention, that is in the statement, “Christendom established The Sykes–Picot Agreement.” I don’t think I would say “Christendom” established it. Now, perhaps maybe someone from the Muslim world of that day would say “Christendom” did this. However, on closer examination, I think I would say it was Sykes ultimately, particularly they way they continued to keep their plan secret in the earlier days of working out the agreement. Additionally, if my memory serves me correct, Britain (or the powers that be who had say in Britain) did not even want France to have any part in the break up or governing of the Ottoman Empire. Anyway, my point is that I understand there were ultimately Protestant forces (who may have considered themselves Bible scholars) who really were intent on getting the Jews back into their land to usher in what God’s word had to say. Ultimately, I just don’t really accept the fact that it was “Christendom” that established the Sykes-Picot. But as a general statement, I get what you are saying. I realize I am being a bit technical.

I guess since the civil war in Syria and rise of “ISIS” in 2013, the mass slaughter of Christians since then, the desecration of the Holy Relics, the destruction of the Holy Places and really the pending re-deployment of a massive U.S. presence into the region, it has really just caused me to stop and wonder, “How many U.S. service men were maimed or killed protecting the artificial lines of the Sykes-Picot?” Perhaps that question is overly general, overly facetious, or lacking a robust grip on the issue. One thing was clear, the Muslims at the end of WWI did not want to be ruled by Christians. Removing the Sykes-Picot has been a goal for over 100 years. In its wake, there have been countless deaths and destruction. Tragically, the major players on the stage and behind the scenes may be shocking if we really were allowed to see their real faces.

    • The Sykes-Picot was indeed an act of Christendom. After all, the Tsar of Russia gave assent to the Sykes-Picot before the murder of the entire Tsar family to the Revolution.

T.E. Lawrence opposed the Sykes-Picot because of its betrayal of the Arabs who were promised to be recognized by the British. When the Tsar fell from power, the communist leaked the secret agreement and withdrew from it, it fell to the British and French to carve up the Middle East. Under the original agreement, Russia would annex Constantinople, which would have transferred the Hagia Sophia back into Orthodox hands, and the British and French would left to divide up the Middle East as they saw fit. It seem the devil moved faster and had the Tsar removed from power via the Revolution, plunging Russia into a bloody, systematic holocaust of Catholic and Orthodox Russians along with the Jews.

It was wisdom that killed the Ottoman Empire (mortal wound of Revelation that is rapidly being healed before our eyes).

Unfortunately, wisdom is not “vogue” anymore as “new wisdom” calls for the reversal of the Sykes-Picot, which happened when Turkey invaded north-western of Iraq and northern Syria to “clear out terrorists”. As far as I can tell, Turkey has not withdrew their military forces from both nations, running the risk of an all-out war with Russia. The “new wisdom” blames the Sykes-Picot for the Middle East mess when the reality is it was those who constantly were meddling with the dictatorships to gain influence, easy access to oil, and of course, falling for the lies about how peaceful Islam is.

The Muslim Brotherhood and their agents have used America’s fear of the Soviet to advance their cause. It was they who convinced Reagan to arm the Afghan’s “freedom fighters” which gave birth to the Taliban. Then it was they who convinced Bush Jr to remove Saddam from power. Then it was they who found a happy, willing partner in Obama and his crooked administration, including Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, to remove Gadaffi from power. The biggest obstacle in the way remains Assad, not the Iran’s government. Assad.

For now, Erdogan is forced to grudingly leave Assad alone, but I bet you that he is scheming to think another way to have Assad gone. We can see, just by reading the news from Turkey’s English-language publications, how Erdogan and the AKP are moving fast to have the constitutional changes, which would transfer all the power of government into one hand – Erdogan’s. He practically has half the world dancing to his tune. He blackmailed Europe to cough up 2 billion euros for three years to keep back the refugee flood, and he threatened to flood Europe with more refugees if they didn’t meet the conditions of the bargains.

Remember, the devil always get his due.

      • I knew that I will find a comment from Trevor with the words “Sykes” and “Picot”. My ability to predict the future is perfecting 😉

        • Ha! In my defense, it was Vinny Zee who started it. I was simply giving him what I have learned through academic research regarding Sykes-Picot. 🙂

      • Vinny Zee

Well I will renew my objection that a relatively secret Sykes-Picot, some of which kept some people in the dark, was indeed an act of Christendom. Second, I will object that the Tsar of Russia gave assent to the Sykes-Picot. When Sykes went to Petrograd to present the Sykes-Picot, they were presented with the interests of France, Britain, the allies and the Arab/Muslim leaders. What was left off the table was “zionism” or the return of the Jews to Palestine. Assent is a strong word, one I am not willing to commit to the Czars regarding the Sykes-Picot.

The Russians had no sympathy for Jewish claims and when Sykes arrived in Russia, they attempted to persuade him the Jews were a hostile force within Russia. We can probably debate all day long about the communist take over and the factors which led to it. Lenin however was “anti-war” i.e. he used this position to oppose Russia’s involvement and ultimately used it as a platform to come to power. If they “leaked the secret agreement” it is not surprising. They were exiting the war. I am not arguing for or against their actions.

It is a conclusion, in my opinion, that the Russian annexation of Constantinople, would have transferred the Hagia Sophia back into Orthodox hands. But you can’t be arguing this was the reason for why they would have wanted to annex it? There are many reasons one could research and reason to understand why Russia wanted to get Constantinople back. My understanding is that it was for for strategic reasons. Would the Hagia Sophia be better off today? Perhaps, but this is assuming it would have survived the communist (though I believe it would have!) There were forces within Russia whose sole desire was the destruction of the Czarist regime. Even if their fall had come after the annexation, what would that have spelled? Alexander Helphand, aka “Parvus”, who was a cohort of Lenin, wanted nothing more than to destroy the Czarist regime. He lived in Constantinople.

What is an act of Christendom in all of this, and a witness to every Christian of what Christendom looks like, is the Church’s, the Clergy’s and the People’s survival of the systematic holocaust of Catholic, Orthodox and Jews. We should never fail to mention the Armenian Genocide, which also coincided with these atrocities and their survival today is also an act of Christendom. The continuous witness of the Church, one, holy and apostolic, this is an act of Christendom and not the desires of Sykes and Pecot, who at times with held information from one another.

Is the Ottoman Empire reviving? One could argue this and it is most likely true? Is it being “rapidly healed”? This is debatable. Do the Arabs today still want their “recognition” and is it met with the same skepticism as what Sykes had? For him, their unity and recognition was an ideal, something in practice. He did not think they had any national spirit, but merely “racial pride” which he commended.

New wisdom is not calling for the reversal of the Sykes-Picot, Hussein and his cohorts had long held, and this is what T.E. Lawrence knew, they did not want to be run or ruled by Christians. This has not changed any more today than when it happened 100 years ago. I don’t think anyone ever felt Islam was peaceful. The Middle East mess is that it is tough for Westerners to really understand how to govern the Arabs. Right or wrong, this was even the words of Saddam to his interrogators. Even they recognized he had a point. It is why I made my comment of the fight many Americans have had to take up to defend, and what they are defending is something they never even understood from the outset. I believe Bush (and America) were ultimately looked to and advised that they needed our might and money to save what was drawn up 90 years prior (when the war started in 2003) or even the 1990-91 war. Again, I feel many would be surprised if they were able to get a look behind the curtain at who the real players in all this are today.

        Good discussion, I enjoyed it.

By the time of WW1 the West was already largely occupied by cultural Christians mixed in with atheists, occultists, etc. NATO and the EU, etc, were in many respects false idols built in replacement of the universal place of the Catholic Church. These institutions and agreements were only ever as strong as the culture was Christian, which modern history has clearly shown. The demise of the West has perfectly coincided with the demise of our Christian culture and values. We’ve gone from being a chaste God fearing society to a proud sexually promiscuous one “culturally.” There are exceptions to this rule of course. I’m purely speaking of today’s western culture at large here.

    • Tom_mcewen

This is what Frederick Neitzsche feared when he wrote God is dead, not that God is dead, but as a factor to control the passions of the pagan mob was dead as a internal Governor of behavior. The import of Muslim hate of Western civilization forces people into tribes, the greater glue that holds society together has been destroyed by relative values, absolute values of love of country or of God and Civilization has been replaced by the lowest form of primitives, the left’s belief in the noble savage. If there is a war in Europe it will be a tribal war, which as seen the Balkans was incredibly brutal.

      • Christendom

        Great comment…

I’ve never studied Neitzsche’s works but generally only hear him referenced for his anti-Christian views/works.

In a war between relativism and absolutism relativism will LOSE every time. Those who stand for for nothing will fall for anything. We haven’t even got cultural Christianity in the West anymore. All we have left, looking at our culture as a whole in modern times, is nihilism.

At the time I posted, this was what I thought:

Trump- Friend, though he has some flaws.

Putin- The ultimate wild card. Until recently, I considered him to be an enemy, because of his role in the rise of the Alt-Right in Europe. But over time, I noticed that Putin’s personal positions do not match those of other prominent Russians who are fully entrenched in the Alt-Right such as Rogozin, Dugin, Zhirinovsky, Gubarev, Strelkov, Prokhanov, etc. What I think is going on is that like Trump, Putin has been relying on the Alt-Right in order to prop up his big tent. However, unlike Trump, the Alt-Right is considerably more powerful in Russian politics than it is in American politics, probably because Putin has been in office either directly or indirectly since 1999, while Trump isn’t in office yet. Trump therefore has the advantage of putting Alt-Right influences in its place early on. Now, Putin wants to make Russia a great power again. Orthodoxy is not his only agenda. The problem is, making Russia a great power again would require it to regain its old sphere of influence in the Caucasus and Central Asia, where Islam, atheism, and paganism are the norm. Hence why Putin has largely been soft on them (not counting his active opposition to ISIS and the anti-Assad forces in Syria). He has been very friendly to China Iran, he is becoming increasingly friendly to Turkey and Pakistan, he is including Muslim nations in his Eurasian Union project, and he has been largely silent on the Alt-Right in Europe (assuming he doesn’t support it). All of those policies seem like they come right from the playbooks of Dugin and other Eurasianists in Russia. To me, it’s becoming increasingly apparent that recreating the old Russian Empire and making Russia a pure Orthodox country are mutually exclusive options. This is especially true when you take into account the birth rates of Russians vs those of Muslim countries. Taking in Muslim states in your sphere of influence, even if it doesn’t involve continental integration projects, is no different than allowing Muslim immigration, as closer ties will inevitably lead to reduced restrictions on travel. Bottom line is, Putin is going to be facing a very difficult choice in the near future. He will choose either Orthodoxy, or Imperialism. If he chooses the former, his Alt-Right allies will turn on him, and possibly start a rebellion/civil war. If he chooses the latter, we will have lost one of our biggest potential allies. Trump is obviously going to pressure Putin to choose the former, while China, the Alt-Right, and Islam will pressure him to choose the latter.

      Erdogan: Enemy, for sure.

Orban: Never trusted him, despite Poland, the land of my ancestors and a country whose leader is on our side, apparently doing so by allowing him to be a member of the Visegrad Group.

Duterte: Enemy. He’s racist, anti-clerical, has Muslims in his family, and has ties to Communists. He’s a more violent version of Obama, and may well be the first true Alt-Rightist to take power in any country.

Sisi: Don’t trust him. He likes to play both sides.

      Netanyahu: Friend.

Modi: Friend, at least for now. Geopolitics indicates that he will never be on the same side as China or Pakistan. Whether India turns on us once those two threats subside, I don’t know. India will likely be a big wild card in the future, just like Russia is now.

Abe: Friend, at least for now. Despite flirting with the idea of recreating the Japanese Empire, geopolitics indicates that he will never be on the same side as China. Once that threat subsides, however, I think Japan will turn on us, just like you believe it will. However, I’m not 100% sure if Abe will be the one who initiates that shift. It may end up being a successor of his, or perhaps a new regime that takes over once the ultra-nationalist fervor spikes.

      Farage: Friend.

      Le Pen: Never trusted her.

Petry: I don’t know enough about her. She’s kind of sketchy to me, but I’m not as unsettled by her as I am by Le Pen.

Beppo: I don’t know enough about him, though if what you say about him is true, that definitely raises my eyebrows.

For if the prayer of one or two possesses such power [Matt. 18:19], how much more that of the bishop and the whole Church! He, therefore, that does not assemble with the church has, just by this, revealed his pride and condemned himself. For it is written, “God resists the

Interesting survey before Devos “the annual gathering of the global political and business elites in the Swiss ski resort of Davo”:

“DAVOS, Switzerland (AP) — The gap between the super-rich and the poorest half of the global population is starker than previously thought, with just eight men, from Bill Gates to Michael Bloomberg, owning as much wealth as 3.6 billion people, according to an analysis by Oxfam released Monday.”

“…according to Edelman, one of the world’s biggest marketing firms. In its own pre-Davos survey of more than 33,000 people across 28 markets, Edelman found the largest-ever drop in trust across government, business, media and even non-governmental organizations. CEO credibility is at an all-time low and government leaders are the least trusted group, according to the survey…The consequence is virulent populism and nationalism as the mass population has taken control away from the elites.”

  • Craig A. Mouldey

Well, I’ll confess I’m not that bright either. I had a hard time trying to understand exactly what populism is. I really like puppies however. So, I looked up a definition:
the political philosophy of the People’s party.
    2.
(lowercase) any of various, often antiestablishment or anti-intellectual political movements or philosophies that offer unorthodox solutions or policies and appeal to the common person rather than according with traditional party or partisan ideologies.
    3.
(lowercase) grass-roots democracy; working-class activism; egalitarianism.
    4.
(lowercase) representation or extolling of the common person, the working class, the underdog, etc.:
    populism in the arts.
Ok, with this definition, I’m clearly seeing some dangers! As I read the article I started getting a picture in my mind. What is being described is what seems to happen with all tyranny. They say, always, it is for the down trodden people. they must bring down the elites. But it is always the elites who are running the show. And when they gain power, they don’t give a rats behind about the people. The people are the slaves they use. These leaders are those one may find teaching in a university but at one time were leaders of a communist, terror group intent on bringing down the U.S. government and executing millions who cannot be re-educated. Of course, I’m talking about Bill Ayres. Absolutely correct. This is not about the people, and any such sweeping movements must be resisted. There is no fail safe human government. Some systems are better than others, but sinful nature, when it is not seen and resisted for what it is will again rear it’s ugly head. This is where Christianity and the church need to come in to play. In a secular society or atheist one, what do they have to fight this evil? Nothing. It’s all subjective until it’s your head being cut off.

Froth of a Deer’s ass. That is all you spew. All addressed and debunked yet you do not go to the articles that debunk your claims and comment there.

Instead, you are like a beetle who rolls the dung onto every other article that has nothing to do with the bone stuck up your throat. I have been approving your Deer dung for a while now and to be frank, I am not your shit picker. Go shit somewhere else.

I’ve been trying to share information about the international New Age movement which has been doing an end run around those who believe they are promoting Christianity. The Parliament of World Religions is a major New Age group claiming to bring together major religions. This link is from their last Parliament meeting. Note the unity around a political agenda. Note the large number of religious organizations involved. They don’t say they are promoting paganism. What they do is promote what part of each group can come together to promote the important political agenda, the morality of the government. Each organization will promote among its members what it has to in order to fit in with the larger agenda, and if that means changing themselves from the inside, so be it. If it means leaving monotheism behind in order to blend, that is what is happening. Any parts of the Judaism and Christianity network that stand in the way are and will be targeted for obstruction of “peace in the world.” What is and will be left is an agreed upon view of the supernatural which is connected to paganism. https://parliamentofreligions.org/interfaith-directory Oh they are a very clever lot who have claimed to have something for everyone to link to. This is big scale.

http://www.thenewamerican.com/culture/faith-and-morals/item/15402-new-age-roots-dark-foundations-of-the-new-world-order This is an older article showing how the political is linked to paganism. “…The New Age/pagan worldview is at variance with Western monotheism in many other ways, which space does not allow us to discuss in depth. However, we note the following additional traits of non-Western religion, …” Don’t ignore what is going on because it is not in your backyard right now.

Christendom, I do hope you aren’t the only one who sees how deadly dangerous all of this is. I thank Walid Shoebat for the opportunity to share what I’ve learned over decades of research. I could write very many long essays about what I’ve gathered. I’ve tried to summarize hoping others will pick on a piece of factual information that I’ve given and start to trace out more connections using web searches, finally sharing with others what they have learned on their own. No one can know all there is to know at any given time and more people need to be warned.

All we can do is offer what little we have and trust that the rest is in God’s hands.

I’m not exactly sure how all the mechanics of this situation tie in together, there are so many moving parts within it to consider. That’s why I don’t obsessively hold onto any single bone of contention e.g. Islam, or source e.g. shoebat.com.

What’s clear to me is that every religion outside of traditional Christianity and Orthodox Judaism, do not have a real moral code founded upon God’s natural/divine law i.e. reality.

The New Testament gives us the following Scripture:

      “Ephesians 6:12-13

12 For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood; but against principalities and power, against the rulers of the world of this darkness, against the spirits of wickedness in the high places.

13 Therefore take unto you the armour of God, that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and to stand in all things perfect.”

That’s why I see this as a spiritual war in truth rather than a material one. Lucis Trust, Communism, Islam, and every other evil we’ve cited are manifestations of this spiritual war. This is the realm we are losing this battle (in the soul) and this is why these established institutions have been able to corrupt the souls of our people and corrode the very fabric of our society and the family.

I always strive to remember God’s providence reigns supreme no matter how steeped this world becomes in darkness. Christ is my light:

      “Mark 13:31

31 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my word shall not pass away. ”

When we stand in Him/God, there is an underlying peace that still stands within the chaos and unrest of this world and our human experience.

It’s been a pleasure to meet a devout Orthodox Jew like yourself Dorothy. Thanks for the dialogue and for the vital information you’ve contributed to the discussion.

      God bless you.

Thank you for your nice words. I would guess that millions of real people in the actual physical world during the ’20s, 30s and ’40s wondered where was God just as those running, suffering and dying in the Middle East now wonder. I think God is waiting for humans to stop what they allowed to start. God gave us this world and free will to choose what we are to do.

        • Christendom

Indeed. He also gave us prophesies of a future time when He would have to miraculously intervene as He has in times past e.g. Noah’s Ark, taking a Scripture we both hold in common.

All signs seem to indicate another such time is somewhere on the horizon. The ears of humanity have become deaf, our eyes blind, our hearts indifferent if not outright hostile toward God, and our minds dumb.

I don’t personally see anything other than divine intervention from God restoring order to this madhouse we find ourselves in today.

There is an organizational structure composed of real people. The pyramid has many levels, organizations that can be checked out. They work together toward their utopian goal of one world religion and one world government. They are so sure of what they profess that they will destroy anything that stands in their way. Like utopian movement believers throughout the centuries be they extremist Christians, Muslims, occultists, or pagans, they first attempt to convince others to convert. When that doesn’t work, in their frustration they destroy and kill those who stand in their way. For the last 100 plus years it has been a pagan/occult pyramid that is cemented together at all levels. Ignore it at your own risk and the risk of the destruction of your family, friends, country and religion. It came together out of the pits of Germany this last time.

          • Christendom

It’s fairly apparent to those of us paying attention to these matters that there has been an amalgamation of sorts between varying powerful pagan and occult orders in the West to bring about a Luciferian one world order.

What I find to be a mystery is:

            1) Regarding this Lucis Trust/Masonic type movement, how deeply entrenched are these occultists throughout Asia, Middle East, Africa, and the rest of the world…

            2) How organised are its factions and are there competing elements within it conspiring for the throne that Christians would call ‘Antichrist’…

We can study the material manifestations of these established organisations and government bodies. They more often than not consist of unnamed persons and therefore a faceless hierarchy. What private investors own the Americans Federal Reserve Bank for example? No one knows for certain because these names have never been disclosed to the public.

Who actually finances Lucis Trust (I mean names of people rather than organisations)? Who occupy its upper and lower management positions? What other occult societies can they be directly linked too e.g the Freemasons?

This movement will ultimately fall short. Christ is King.

Please allow me to share a superb reading with you from a JPII encyclical that explains this crises as being mans loss of a sense His sense of God. He explains the present state of Western society and culture with divinely inspired eloquence and authority. Enjoy:

“22. Consequently, when the sense of God is lost, the sense of man is also threatened and poisoned, as the Second Vatican Council concisely states: “Without the Creator the creature would disappear … But when God is forgotten the creature itself grows unintelligible”.17 Man is no longer able to see himself as “mysteriously different” from other earthly creatures; he regards himself merely as one more living being, as an organism which, at most, has reached a very high stage of perfection. Enclosed in the narrow horizon of his physical nature, he is somehow reduced to being “a thing”, and no longer grasps the “transcendent” character of his “existence as man”. He no longer considers life as a splendid gift of God, something “sacred” entrusted to his responsibility and thus also to his loving care and “veneration”. Life itself becomes a mere “thing”, which man claims as his exclusive property, completely subject to his control and manipulation.

Thus, in relation to life at birth or at death, man is no longer capable of posing the question of the truest meaning of his own existence, nor can he assimilate with genuine freedom these crucial moments of his own history. He is concerned only with “doing”, and, using all kinds of technology, he busies himself with programming, controlling and dominating birth and death. Birth and death, instead of being primary experiences demanding to be “lived”, become things to be merely “possessed” or “rejected”.

Moreover, once all reference to God has been removed, it is not surprising that the meaning of everything else becomes profoundly distorted. Nature itself, from being “mater” (mother), is now reduced to being “matter”, and is subjected to every kind of manipulation. This is the direction in which a certain technical and scientific way of thinking, prevalent in present-day culture, appears to be leading when it rejects the very idea that there is a truth of creation which must be acknowledged, or a plan of God for life which must be respected. Something similar happens when concern about the consequences of such a “freedom without law” leads some people to the opposite position of a “law without freedom”, as for example in ideologies which consider it unlawful to interfere in any way with nature, practically “divinizing” it. Again, this is a misunderstanding of nature’s dependence on the plan of the Creator. Thus it is clear that the loss of contact with God’s wise design is the deepest root of modern man’s confusion, both when this loss leads to a freedom without rules and when it leaves man in “fear” of his freedom.

By living “as if God did not exist”, man not only loses sight of the mystery of God, but also of the mystery of the world and the mystery of his own being.

            23. The eclipse of the sense of God and of man inevitably leads to a practical materialism, which breeds individualism, utilitarianism and hedonism. Here too we see the permanent validity of the words of the Apostle: “And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a base mind and to improper conduct” (Rom 1:28). The values of being are replaced by those of having. The only goal which counts is the pursuit of one’s own material well-being. The so-called “quality of life” is interpreted primarily or exclusively as economic efficiency, inordinate consumerism, physical beauty and pleasure, to the neglect of the more profound dimensions-interpersonal, spiritual and religious-of existence.

In such a context suffering, an inescapable burden of human existence but also a factor of possible personal growth, is “censored”, rejected as useless, indeed opposed as an evil, always and in every way to be avoided. When it cannot be avoided and the prospect of even some future well-being vanishes, then life appears to have lost all meaning and the temptation grows in man to claim the right to suppress it.

Within this same cultural climate, the body is no longer perceived as a properly personal reality, a sign and place of relations with others, with God and with the world. It is reduced to pure materiality: it is simply a complex of organs, functions and energies to be used according to the sole criteria of pleasure and efficiency. Consequently, sexuality too is depersonalized and exploited: from being the sign, place and language of love, that is, of the gift of self and acceptance of another, in all the other’s richness as a person, it increasingly becomes the occasion and instrument for self-assertion and the selfish satisfaction of personal desires and instincts. Thus the original import of human sexuality is distorted and falsified, and the two meanings, unitive and procreative, inherent in the very nature of the conjugal act, are artificially separated: in this way the marriage union is betrayed and its fruitfulness is subjected to the caprice of the couple. Procreation then becomes the “enemy” to be avoided in sexual activity: if it is welcomed, this is only because it expresses a desire, or indeed the intention, to have a child “at all costs”, and not because it signifies the complete acceptance of the other and therefore an openness to the richness of life which the child represents.

In the materialistic perspective described so far, interpersonal relations are seriously impoverished. The first to be harmed are women, children, the sick or suffering, and the elderly. The criterion of personal dignity-which demands respect, generosity and service-is replaced by the criterion of efficiency, functionality and usefulness: others are considered not for what they “are”, but for what they “have, do and produce”. This is the supremacy of the strong over the weak.

            24. It is at the heart of the moral conscience that the eclipse of the sense of God and of man, with all its various and deadly consequences for life, is taking place. It is a question, above all, of the individual conscience, as it stands before God in its singleness and uniqueness. 18 But it is also a question, in a certain sense, of the “moral conscience” of society: in a way it too is responsible, not only because it tolerates or fosters behaviour contrary to life, but also because it encourages the “culture of death”, creating and consolidating actual “structures of sin” which go against life. The moral conscience, both individual and social, is today subjected, also as a result of the penetrating influence of the media, to an extremely serious and mortal danger: that of confusion between good and evil, precisely in relation to the fundamental right to life. A large part of contemporary society looks sadly like that humanity which Paul describes in his Letter to the Romans. It is composed “of men who by their wickedness suppress the truth” (1:18): having denied God and believing that they can build the earthly city without him, “they became futile in their thinking” so that “their senseless minds were darkened” (1:21); “claiming to be wise, they became fools” (1:22), carrying out works deserving of death, and “they not only do them but approve those who practise them” (1:32). When conscience, this bright lamp of the soul (cf. Mt 6:22-23), calls “evil good and good evil” (Is 5:20), it is already on the path to the most alarming corruption and the darkest moral blindness.

And yet all the conditioning and efforts to enforce silence fail to stifle the voice of the Lord echoing in the conscience of every individual: it is always from this intimate sanctuary of the conscience that a new journey of love, openness and service to human life can begin.

“You have come to the sprinkled blood” (cf. Heb 12: 22, 24): signs of hope and invitation to commitment”

Why would I bother to take the time and energy to answer your questions with factual information even though I could. You have already come to all of the conclusions that you are comfortable with. As I’ve given you nothing to consider, you’ve given me nothing to consider. So it is.

          • Christendom

I asked the questions. This means that you’ve been invited to answer them or direct me toward the specific sources that can.

If this insults you, so be it. I don’t pander to anyone’s over emotionalism, male or female.

I do love you and wish you grace and strength and salvation.

The point that I was making is that the culture itself has been corrupted, and who and what is the culture? The people.

Why would a culture of “moral relativists” want to resist a cult of Luciferians when they fundamentally agree on the same general philosophy and principles?

Do you know how many people I’ve shared and explained the laws of God to? You know what responses I’ve gotten in response? 99.99999% of the time hostility or indifference, that’s it. The average traditional non-Christian today couldn’t care less about the law of procreation.

Even that .000000001% that have accepted God’s law as it is are still in relations where contraceptives are used for instance.

Sorry Dorothy but I’m not aware of any magic wand that can magically fix this! hahaha

If you are, I’m all ears 🙂

If you aren’t, that isn’t my fault.

            God bless you Dorothy.

I just finished reading Man in the High Castle on which the television series is based. In it individuals believe they get prophecies from The Oracle through I Ching. They believe they can interpret the prophecy correctly which guides them, kind of a peek into the future. Too many people see the Bible in the same way. I don’t. The very first story in the Bible that deals with humans tells me that God is clear on what He tells humans to do when facing challenges. You mention God’s intervention in the case of Noah’s Ark. In that case God told Noah what to do, and he did it. He didn’t just say whatever happens is in God’s plan and we just have to stand around and watch. We weren’t given the Bible to make us comfortable with whatever is in God’s plan, however every individual wants to interpret that.

Yes, you asked questions. I see no value in sharing information with you which ends up at the level of gossip or entertainment. I’m sure you are nice company at dinner parties. I do not speak for the Jewish community.

          • Christendom

You’ve misunderstood the underlying point I was making.

            A) Yes, Christians do believe Christ will return to restore order and give what we call ‘The Final Judgement.’

This part you understood perfectly. It’s the next part you missed.

            B) Christ didn’t fight with the political authorities nor did He focus on exposing them. He and later His apostles focused on the Rabbis and the people irrespective of their status in society or lack thereof. He focused on transforming them as a means to transform the world and liberate men from sin, hell, etc.

I’ve been contemplating this reality quite a bit in recent days. It seems to me, I’m including myself here, that we’re far too glued to news and fighting the powers that be, while ignoring the real “get your hands dirty” work Christ has called us to do. I’m strongly leaning towards giving up news sites altogether because it’s starting to feel like a distraction from the more important work that needs to be done.

We’re obviously going to see these things a little differently as you’re Orthodox Jewish and I’m Catholic.

            Signing Off!

            God Bless

    • You tried refreshing the page?

  • Your still rolling dung down the hill. You make outlandish claims without providing any sources.

  • I guess we live in a world where everyone these days is a walking expert scholar on the Bible. The only problem is that every time I examine one of you scholars I find out that their view is one of thousands of other contradicting ‘scholars’. Which one of you ‘scholars’ is the right interpretation?

I’ve had it!! I am doing an article on the authority of the POPE. These stupid types of comments drive me absolutely nuts.

  • My condolences Stav. Hope your family be at peace as they morn your grand father’s departure.

As far as Purgatory, it is mentioned in Scripture, read this whole article and get back to me:

  • Cool, I am also writing about my grand father for this Sunday special.

    • Stavrostav23

Oh wow! That’s really cool, I can’t wait to read it. Was your grandfather a Muslim like you were? And I am still reading the article you sent me, I just have one question. In Isaiah when it talks about Jesus destroying Edom/Arabia, it says something about Bozrah, but Bozrah was in Jordan right?

      Isaiah 34:5-6
“And when My (Jesus’) sword has finished its work in the heavens, it will fall upon Edom (Arabia), the nation I have marked for destruction. The sword of the LORD is bathed in blood, it is covered with fat– the blood of lambs and goats, fat from the kidneys of rams. For the LORD has a sacrifice in Bozrah and a great slaughter in the land of Edom.

Isaiah 63:1- Who is this who comes from Edom, from the city of Bozrah, with His clothing stained red? Who is this in royal robes, marching in His great strength? “It is I, the LORD, announcing your salvation! It is I, the LORD, who has the power to save!”

Edom is in Arabia as Ezekiel 25 tells us, but people think it is Jordan and Bozrah was in Jordan right? Thanks 🙂

Trump used the term America First in his inauguration speech. It was capitalized in the printed handout copy. America First was an antisemitic, Nazi initiated, isolationist group which worked to keep America out of WWII. Could be just a coincidence of course. Then again all three parts of this series are worth rereading. Is it possible that by concentrating on America only it can keep others from looking closely at the growing nationalist movements in other countries or the international New Age movement?

Jesus was clearly speaking of THE PERSON PETER BECAUSE JESUS GAVE THE KEYS TO PETER NOT TO THE WORDS PETER SAID.

Now that you have jumped up and down on the bed, you can go back to sleep,

  • “You are a little more rough hewn than I. Why, I do not know? As my son says, “it is what it is!”
In my limited experience, I see such displays as rough edges yet to be refined.”

I like the rough edges Reader.

There are no hard feelings my friend. But the thought of you thinking about all this tells me that you have a GREAT heart and therefore, I need to file my rough edges.

And with you being here, I am sure you will remind me. The issue is that our blog brings up people’s idols. We crush these idols and they get angry. There is no way to deal with this other than for me to ignore the ones who get angry at us.
