MAJOR MASSACRE OF CHRISTIANS JUST HAPPENED: Islamic Terrorists Go Into Church And Slaughter Twenty Seven Christians, They Then Go Into Another Church And Butcher Sixteen More Christians

By Theodore Shoebat

Muslim terrorists just bombed two Coptic Christian soldiers, slaughtering forty three people (those numbers may change). ISIS is now claiming responsibility for the bombings that took place in the cities of Tanta and Alexandria. ISIS is claiming that it was “a security detachment” of their terrorist organization that carried out the massacre.

The first bombing occurred in the northern city of Tanta while the Christians were celebrating the Palm Sunday service at St. George’s Church, slaughtering 27 Christians. The Muslims who did this put a bomb underneath one of the seats in the prayer hall. Moments later, a suicide bombing attack took place outside of  St. Mark’s Coptic Orthodox Cathedral in Alexandria, and massacred 16 people and wounded 41 others.  The Pope of the Coptic Church, Tawadros II, was inside of the Cathedral when the blast erupted.

At one moment, the Christians in Tanta were singing hymns and worshipping God, and then in the next moment, an explosion was detonated and the house of God was covered in the blood of His saints.

“Everything is destroyed inside the church” and blood can be seen on marble pillars, said Peter Kamel, who saw the aftermath of the carnage. Amongst the martyrs were numerous priests and choir members. Here is footage of the choir just seconds before the bomb went off:

According Kamel, the terrorist put the bomb next to the altar, where the Eucharist is consecrated. Here is a video from when the bombing erupted:

At St. Mark’s Coptic Cathedral, officers who were commissioned to protect the sacred place, tried to stop a terrorist with a suicide bomb strapped onto his body, and then the bomb exploded, and the slaughter was done.

The president of Egypt, Abdel Fatah el-Sisi, made an order to “hunt down the perpetrators” and “take all measures to offer the necessary care for the wounded.” El-Sisi has also called for three days of nationwide mourning.”The attack will not undermine the resolve and true will of the Egyptian people to counter the forces of evil, but will only harden their determination to move forward on their trajectory to realize security, stability and comprehensive development,” the government’s statement said.

An Egyptian blooger, Maged Butter, recounts: “Every now and then, I see a person crying — I think they are Christian — and they keep saying: ‘have you seen my family? Have you seen my family?'” Fadi Sami, a witness at the massacre inside the church in Alexandria, recounts the horrors:

“I came back and the area was covered in smoke. The stores around the church were all destroyed… There were bodies and body parts everywhere, outside and inside the gate. I saw a man put together what was left of his son in a bag.”

This horror and carnage, it was done against a Catholic church and an Orthodox church. Why? Because it is only the Catholic and Orthodox who can trace their lineage directly to the Christ and the Apostles, and prove it through historical documentation. It is these Churches against whom the Antichrist makes war, for they are the only Churches that observe the grain offering, that is, the Eucharist, of which Christ declared: “If any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever” (John 6:52). The Antichrist will “stop the sacrifice and grain offering” (Daniel 9:27), that is, the Antichrist will abolish the Eucharist, the sacrifice of the Catholic Church and Orthodox Church. Notice, the terrorists put the bomb next to the altar in the parish. The Muslims wanted to attack the place of the Eucharist.

As long as the spirit of Antichrist is alive, the persecution will never end until Kingdom Come. Until then, let us help our brethren. In the last church bombing in Egypt, which occurred last year in St. Mark’s Cathedral, in which 22 Christians were martyred, our organization, Rescue Christians, was involved in covering the hospital bills of numerous Christian victims injured by the attack.

Amazing. I just got back from this morning’s Palm Sunday service, and now I see this news. I even go to a church called St. George, as well. Christ have mercy on these dear people. I can pray for justice on behalf of these Christians—and I know somehow and in some way they’ll get it—but I don’t expect much from the governments of the world. As the martyrs say in the Book of Revelation: “How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?”

Me to, the church I go to is St. George Antochian and this is shocking, I was at peace in worship receiving the Holy Mysteries and my brothers and sisters in Eygpt were martyerd. May God grant peace to their souls and comfort to the families and friends in suffering.

  • I shared this news with my priest. I only wished I had gotten a message to him so he could ask the congregation to pray for the Coptic during the prayer for the state of the Church.

It is evil of them to attack the Church while they were worshipping Christ the King.

Any words on the Coptic Pope? Is he ok?

Our priest asked for prayer for them prior to blessing the palm branches.

      • The service yesterday was wonderful. After the palm branches were blessed and distributed, we walked outside, around, and back in the Church as part of the proceeding. Do you do something similar?

Deplorable beyond words and comprehension…..May those who were martyred, may their souls Rest In Peace.

A terrible situation, Christian genocide is being carried out in Egypt. Children would be amongst the victims, l do hope President Trump is shown their pictures, then we can see what he intends to do against the perpetrators!

The Anti-Christs will make war on all Christians. The reason they do it is because they believe that those who take Jesus for their Saviour are guilty of shirk, which in Islam they are told is the worse form of blasphemy! Jesus tells his followers that they will be murdered for his name. It was an attack on the followers of Jesus, who were congregated in a building called a church. The fact it is an Orthodox or a Roman Catholic congregation is not the reason. The Muslims who do these things don’t know the differences between Christians and many hardly know the Quran ( although the Quran sanctions these attacks) in Arabic, let alone understand the subtle differences between Christians but they do believe in killing people who are not Muslims.
