The Daily Sabah which dubs itself as “News from Turkey Istanbul” is a mouthpiece for Erdogan of Turkey with all sorts of articles supporting Erdogan. It is nervous because Israeli Jews believe that falafels originated from Israel. The Daily Sabah blasted Israel saying:
“Israel claims they have emerged recently attributing the roots of falafel to Israel. They assert that it was of Hebrew origin. As an adherence to this claim they issued a postage stamp with a picture of a falafel sandwich above the flag of Israel. Unfortunately, the Israelis stole and steal a lot of the popular traditions of Arab and Palestinian culture and especially claims that they originated with the Keffiyeh changing their colors … they have a powerful propaganda machine convincing people to think that falafels are Israeli.
What they mean by “Keffiyeh” is the Tallit. The Tallit is as old as the Bible itself where the biblical commandment (Numbers 15:38) has a blue thread to be included in the tzitzit which the Palestinian Kaffiyeh does not have. From ancient Israel to the story of Jesus healing the sick woman, the Tallit is Jewish.
Although biblically in Deuteronomy 22:12 we read:
“Thou shalt make thee twisted cords upon the four corners of thy covering, wherewith thou coverest thyself.”
To be fair, the Palestinian Kaffiyeh has four knots, one on each corner which was what the Bible commanded which was a result from the majority Palestinians who were originally Jews which genetics confirm. The tradition of having five knots on each corner came later. The Catholic Rosary is said to have stemmed from the Tzitzit on the Tallit which consists of five sets of ten beads. Muslim beads have 99 equivalent to the 99 names of Allah.
The story of Moses turning the staff into a serpent while Egypt’s magicians try to emulate what is original is in itself a prophecy. Islam itself is an imitation of the Jewish faith adding a little cyanide to reverse what God ordained in the Tower of Babel and is why Islam has a one world order: to convert by the sword Jews and Christians. This is the bottom line.
As to the falafel, the Daily Sabah refuted itself stating:
Let us first ask where falafel came from? Certainly there is no fixed order; some believe its native to Syria (or the Levant), while others confirm they appeared at the hands of the ancient Egyptians, and then moved to the [Christian] Copts of Egypt and after Christianity the Islamic conquest continued it as popular food. And from the land of Egypt, it moved to Syria and Palestine, where the people of Syria used garbanzo beans instead of Fava beans in their preparation.
In summary, everyone is allowed to say ‘give us this day our daily falafel and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us,’ except of course, the trespasses of the Jews since they do not deserve to claim the falafel.
I run into all sorts of mean spirited people. I find Catholics and Orthodox who have a dislike for Jews. I find Jews and Evangelicals who have a disdain for Catholics.
To all these I say: go and try drinking the sea in Gaza and then go and drink the sea of Marmara. Hamas at the sea in Gaza and the Turks at the sea of Marmara will be a much worse bitter pill to swallow than Jews, Catholics or Evangelicals. I as a Christian will never form my opinion from mere people or from their hatred and their prejudices. I will seek God Who clearly said “blessed are the peacemakers” while everyone bang their heads on a wall. I run my own falafel stand where I have a Jew on the board of Rescue Christians in order to provoke all haters to jealousy. The falafel, after all, does not belong to the Turk and it does belong to Palestinians and Jews as well as Christian Copts and everyone else who wants to eat the “pulse”. After all Hummus and Falafel was the food Daniel ate which made his “countenances appeared fairer and fatter” (Daniel 1:12) and it was there in Babylon as well.
Perhaps the significance of eating the round shaped patty is prophetic that someday everyone will partake in the Communion of Christ and everyones countenance will finally be blessed.
Anybody else with a lip?
In everything, be as wise as serpents and as innocent as doves. INRI is Latin: Iēsus Nazarēnus, Rēx Iūdaeōrum which represents the Latin inscription which in English reads as “Jesus the Nazarene, King of the Jews”.
He is King of the Jews.
He is not King of the Palestinians for all you evil doers who want to divide the land and go against God’s ordained prophecy, I remind you of Amos 9:15:
And I will plant them [Israel] upon their own land: and I will no more pluck them out of their land which I have given them, saith the Lord thy God.
My name is Walid. In Hebrew it is יֶלֶד (Yelid/Yeled) which means “a child”. My name was given to me lest I forget to come to Him as a child. Our heritage including the Kaffiyeh stems from the Jews and in my soul I will always be a Jew and my faith will always be Christ and Him crucified. I have also worshipped Christ in Latin and in Aramaic because worshippers who pray in these tongues are the most hated of all, especially by blind multitudes who claim to love God, yet they are blind by sight and insight. On the Crucifix of Jesus was the sign written in Aramaic, Latin and Greek. Therefore, choose ye which holy tongue you prefer, but do not condemn others which of the three tongues they prefer, for God Himself can and does speak in tongues of fire.
Render unto Jesus what belongs to Jesus, instead of only rendering unto the IRS what belongs to the IRS. Pay your due taxes, but also more importantly give unto God what belongs to God.
Pray for a new king. Stop the never Trump and never Cruz and let us defeat our enemies.
And lest you forget, God will give you what you deserve at times and in accordance to your own wicked hearts. Never forget, its a commandment to always pray for the peace of Jerusalem and to also love the Jew. I cry as a voice in the wilderness. I am always acquainted with grief as I listen to the slandering tongue coming from the devil through people who proclaim to be godly. At times I wonder, does anyone see my tears? No. Only God does. Jeremiah was the weeping prophet. Does anyone harken to what the Lord commands to love your enemies as you love yourselves?
And if I may speak in tongues “Haben yakir li yakir li Efrayim” and even sing; in the tongue of the Jews:
Is Ephraim a darling son unto Me?
Is he a child that is dandled?
For as often as I speak of him
I do earnestly remember him still;
Therefore My heart yearneth for him,
I will surely have compassion upon him,
saith the LORD.
Haben yakir li Efrayim,
Im yeled sha’ashu’im—
Ki-midei dabri bo, zachor ezkerenu od;
Al-ken, hamu mei’ai lo—
Rachem arachamenu,
ne’um Ado-nai.
הֲבֵן יַקִּיר לִי אֶפְרַיִם,
אִם יֶלֶד שַׁעֲשֻׁעִים—
כִּי-מִדֵּי דַבְּרִי בּוֹ, זָכֹר אֶזְכְּרֶנּוּ עוֹד;
עַל-כֵּן, הָמוּ מֵעַי לוֹ—
רַחֵם אֲרַחֲמֶנּוּ, נְאֻם-יְהוָה.
