SUMMARY:
Azerbaijan’s Muslim president is just another Hitler today was threatening to wipe out Christian Armenia.
Few focus on Azerbaijan today and most focus on Syria, Iraq, Iran and ISIS while they ignore the big-picture. There is another full-blown conflict threatens to further destabilize the Middle East, this one between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the central area of what the Bible calls “Magog”.
Christians need to know about Azerbaijan’s role in the anti-Christ beastly empire and the unfolding scenario prior to Christ’s coming.
So lets start.
“Azerbaijan pursues and should pursue a more active fight against Armenia,” Azerbaijani Muslim President Ilham Aliyev said today on Apr. 10 in his opening speech at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
He said Armenia is isolated from all the international and regional projects, adding that according to official statistics of Armenia, 30 percent of its population lives in extreme poverty.
“That is, the Armenian state, which was created on historical Azerbaijani lands, will in a few years have no Armenian population,” said the Hitler of Azerbaijan.
He also noted that the Azerbaijani society, in particular the younger generation, should never forget that Armenia was created on historical Azerbaijani territories.
“These are our historical lands, the lands of our ancestors and all the place names are of Azerbaijani origin,” said the president, adding that this is proven by the maps drawn in the Tsarist Russia in the beginning of the 20th century.
“It is impossible to find a single Armenian place name on these maps,” President Aliyev said, adding that 80 percent of the villages on Armenia’s current territory had Azerbaijani names.
“These are our historical lands and we will surely return to these lands, it is impossible otherwise,” said the president. “It is our strategic goal. We are trying and will try to achieve this goal.”
“Armenia as a country is of no value,” Aliyev once tweeted from his official handle, @presidentaz. “It is actually a colony, an outpost run from abroad, a territory artificially created on ancient Azerbaijani lands.”
Aliyev is one of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan‘s henchmen. Erdogan greeted Ilham Aliyev on January 15, 2015, in a historic welcome ceremony involving soldiers wearing ceremonial clothes and the “Resurrection anthem,” a theme song of a TV serial featuring the establishment of the Ottoman Empire. Such “Resurrection” is regarding the re-arising of the dead Ottoman Empire and the revival of the greatest threat to Israel and Christendom.
Aliyev explained the ambitious objective of the two countries during one trip to visit with Erdogan when he stated that “the 21st century will be the century of the Turkic world.” In order to make this happen, Azerbaijan and Turkey want to increase their influence in Central Asia by strengthening ties with Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan via the Cooperation Council of Turkic-Speaking States. These are the Turkic nations and while they are separate, they are ethnically one.
Few focus on Azerbaijan’s role in the unfolding scenario where most focus on Syria, Iraq, Iran and ISIS while there is another full-blown conflict threatens to further destabilize the Middle East, this one between Armenia and Azerbaijan in what is included in biblical “Magog” where three great powers — Russia, Turkey and Persia meet in the Caucasus and these all converge in a country called Azerbaijan, the battleground for these three great powers. Both Hitler and Stalin wanted control of Azerbaijan and so does Turkey which means the complete control of the Eurasian landmass.
Azerbaijan fought a war (1992-1994) in which it lost an area called Nagorno-Karabakh to Christian Armenia, which was backed by the Russians. Ilham Aliyev, one of the worst dictators alive, has been indiscriminately shelling the Republic of Nagorno Karabakh, formerly, Soviet located within Soviet Azeri territory populated by ethnic Christian Armenians. Residents of Nagorno-Karabakh, where the majority Armenian population declared an independent republic after the collapse of the Soviet Union, are hamstrung by their unrecognized status, which prohibits most international trade.
To Muslims, this region is part of a prophetic tradition of the black flags which includes nations that are specified that will accompany the Mahdi who are Turkic. Abdul Rahman al-Wahabi in the The Day of Wrath states: “The final battle will be waged by Muslim faithfuls coming on the backs of horses…carrying black banners. They will stand on the East side of the Jordan River and will wage war that the earth has never seen before. The true Messiah who is the Islamic Mahdi will defeat Europe, will lead this army of Seljuks [Turkic]. He will preside over the world from Jerusalem because Mecca would have been destroyed.”
The Seljuk Empire were Turks that preceded the Ottoman Empire. It covered the region of Turkey, Northern Iran, Syria, Iraq, Southern Caucasus, and Azerbaijan. Many Islamic scholars believe that the Mahdi will lead an army of Turks and will rule over Israel.
Expounding on the tradition of the black banners, the so-called “moderate” Sheikh Kabbani, the darling of many conservative Americans, states that the armies will come from the region of Iran: “Hadith indicate that black flags coming from the area of Khorasan will signify [that] the appearance of the Mahdi is nigh. Khorasan is in today’s Iran, and some scholars have said that this Hadith means when the black flags appear from Central Asia, i.e., in the direction of Khorasan (Iran), then the appearance of the Mahdi is imminent.” (God’s War On Terror, Page 149)
Such a setup falls into the biblical narrative which reverses the outcome: “There is Meshech, Tubal, and all her multitude: her graves are round about him: all of them uncircumcised, slain by the sword, though they caused their terror in the land of the living. And they shall not lie with the mighty that are fallen of the uncircumcised, which are gone down to hell with their weapons of war: and they have laid their swords under their heads, but their iniquities shall be upon their bones, though they were the terror of the mighty in the land of the living.” (Ezekiel 32:26-27) (God’s War on Terror, Page 237)
This was historically “Scythian” territory as Josephus points “Magog founded the Magogians, thus named after him, but who by the Greeks are called Scythians.” The Schaff-Herzog Encyclopedia of Religious Knowledge, citing ancient Assyrian writings, places the location of Magog in the landmass between ancient Armenia and Media—in short, the Republics south of Russia and north of Israel, comprised of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Turkestan, Chechnya, Turkey, etc. (God’s War on Terror (Page 256)
When one reads the biblical name Gog, this is not a mythical person, Gog was a real historic person from Turkey named also “Gygez” or “Gugu” of Lydia in Turkey which Esarhaddon (681-668 BC) records his defeat of the Gimirrai, while King Ashurbanipal tells us in his records of the Cimmerian invasion of Lydia in the days of the Lydian king Gugu (Gygez, Gogaz) around the year 660 BC. This is the same general period that Ezekiel was writing his prophecy and in essence Ezekiel is referring to the coming Antichrist as another “Gygez”. Like other places in the Bible in which God refers to the Antichrist as the “Prince of Tyre,” or “the King of Babylon,” or “the Assyrian,” as a throwback to ancient historic figure from Lydia in the Turkic region. In fact, the biblical “Gomer” were Turkic peoples who were descendants of tribes people recorded in history as the Oguz.
They founded the Gokturk Empire in the 6th century, 522 CE, and were defeated in 745 CE by the Uygurs, an ethnically related Turkic tribe. “Gokturk,” with the “Gok” part being the distinguishing name of this particular Turkic tribe, is remarkably similar to “Gog” and again reinforces the point that the Biblical Gog is a ruler from the Turkic region of Asia Minor.
Where Islam enters the equation is that after several conquests among the diverse Turkic tribes, the Ghaznavids, under the leadership of Sevuktekin in 963 AD, established the first Muslim Turkish state. The Oguz Empire emerged once more upon the defeat of the Ghaznavid dynasty in 1040 CE and was assimilated by the Oguz. After the expansion of Islam, the empire came under the leadership of Tugrul Bey and Cagry Bey, grandsons of Seljuk, whose name was adopted for the Seljuk Dynasty. The Empire covered the region of Anatolia, Northern Iran, Syria, Iraq, Southern Caucasus, and Azerbaijan under Turkish rule under the leadership of Alp Arslan and Malik Shah in the 11 century.
The Seljuk Dynasty declined steadily during the 13th century and the land of Seljuk Sultanate was divided among chieftains. The Mongol conquest in 1243 marked the end of the Seljuk Dynasty. Ertugrul Gazi ruled the lands around Sögüt, a division of the Seljuk Sultanate. Upon his death in 1281, his son, Osman (Uthman), expanded the territory known by his name as the Ottoman Empire. It is crucial to understand that many in Iran and the Caucasus are of Azeri Turkish heritage. This ethnic affiliation is crucial to comprehend a Shiite-Sunni alliance between these Turkic states with Iran and other Muslim states which is sparking an Islamic unification including all the way to the Caucasus. Iran’s Hassan Rouhani on April 9th officially welcomed Ilham Aliyev to sign several agreements on Tehran-Baku trade and economic cooperation. This would be to Iran a visit from another Azeri counterpart from Azerbaijan. Iran has 35 million people of Turkish ethnic origin make up the majority in Iran — nearly half of the Iranian population.
All these anti-Christ and anti-Christian players will end up as ten rulers who will form an Islamic confederacy of states. Armageddon is simply the culmination of the war between Islam (the threat/beast) and Christendom which already existed for centuries. Revelation is not exclusively for our times and Aliyev is just another Antichrist who continues the ongoing conflict with Nagorno Karabakh and Armenia insisting on painting the Armenians as “aggressors” and the Azeris as the “original historical inhabitants” of Artsakh and are out to innocently defend their lands. The exact opposite is the case. Since Russia brokered a tentative peace agreement between the two nations in 1994, Azerbajian as typical Muslims do, has broken the ceasefire over 200 times.
For many in the prophecy circles, when they think ‘Antichrist’, many tend to attribute to him an expanded global power that lasts seven years, and when it comes to Antichrist persecuting the Church, they tend to narrow such persecution to this timeframe and only affecting the western hemisphere. The other misunderstanding is that Antichrist is only the figure who comes prior to Christ’s coming. However, there are many Antichrists and it was Armenia, not the United States that was the first Christian nation in history and Armenia will also be a focus of the final Antichrist which we are beginning to hear the drumbeats of wars and rumors of wars. Armenia was the focus of persecution prior to the final bruising of the seventh head: The Ottoman Empire.
We usually get tremendous traffic on stories of this sort while we get very little on more serious issues on Christian persecution which will increase as we see these events unfold. For example, we operate a very effective mission in rescuing fellow Christians who literally live under slavery. We are a unique organization (Rescue Christians) who rescue Christians, perdominately in Pakistan that live under the Muslim yoke baking bricks in kilns under the heating sun. Christians too are burned in furnaces in Pakistan with no one to morn them.
