We wrote the other day: “If we look at the Sunni Coalition against the Shiite Houthis in Yemen, it is Saudi money and the defense of Mecca that prompts other Arab states to lend their name to the coalition, not the love of the Saudi monarchy, the only real hardcore players in this coalition are Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. The reason Turkey did not participate on the war against the Houthis in Yemen is that Turkey and Saudi Arabia cannot have a meeting of minds because Turkey never accepted Saudi Arabia as historically it sees the Saudi monarchy as the British puppet which ousted the Ottomans.”
And now as it seems even Pakistan has also abandoned Saudi Arabia. Hurriet Daily News had this to say:
“Pakistan’s parliament voted on April 10 to stay out of the conflict in Yemen, rejecting Saudi demands for Islamabad to join its military coalition against Shiite Houthi rebels, while international organizations and Turkey have called for a “humanitarian cease-fire.”
The unanimous resolution passed by a special session of parliament backed the government’s commitment to protect Saudi Arabia’s territory, but it said Pakistan should play a mediating role and not get involved in fighting in Yemen – turning down longstanding ally Riyadh’s request for troops, ships and warplanes.
The resolution said. “[Parliament] desires that Pakistan should maintain neutrality in the Yemen conflict so as to be able to play a proactive diplomatic role to end the crisis.”
Many lawmakers urged Sharif not to send Pakistani forces to join the fight.
Turkey, another Muslim nation that abandoned the efforts to join militarily in the coalition is pursuing dialogue between Riyadh and Tehran following a consensus reached during President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s recent visit to Iran.
Revelation 17 tells us that the Beast will abandon and eventually hate the Harlot. He will ultimately turn on her, killing her, devouring her, and burning her body with fire:
“The beast and the ten horns you saw will hate the prostitute. They will bring
her to ruin and leave her naked; they will eat her flesh and burn her with fire.
For God has put it into their hearts to accomplish his purpose by agreeing to give the beast their power to rule, until God’s words are fulfilled. The woman you saw is the great city that rules over the kings of the earth” (Revelation 17:16-18).
