Senator John McCain – also known in these circles as John McC(Pet)ain – continues to demonstrate his anti-American bonafides. The latest example comes courtesy of his assertion that aside from Benghazi, Hillary Clinton was a great Secretary of State.
“I don’t think there’s any doubt that Secretary Clinton would be a very strong candidate,” McCain said of the former secretary of state, senator from New York and first lady. “I don’t think there’s any doubt she has widespread support. Her work as secretary of state, with the exception of this issue of Benghazi — which isn’t going away — I think has been outstanding. I think she would be viewed by anyone, Republican or Democrat, as a very formidable candidate for 2016.”
McCain then tossed some love in the direction of another former Democratic Senate colleague, Vice President Joe Biden, calling him a “wonderful guy” and saying it would be a mistake to “rule Joe Biden out of this mix.”
The comments to reporters came after a joint breakfast appearance with Sen. Dick Durbin of Illinois at the City Club of Chicago. Both men used their appearances to push for immigration legislation stalled in Congress.
Such sentiment could only come from a pro-Muslim Brotherhood “wacko bird” who supports al-Qaeda and the terrorist organization’s persecution of Christians.
When one looks at McCain’s positions on the Middle East over the last three years, it’s easy to see why he thinks so highly of Clinton’s tenure as Secretary of State; her positions were pro-Muslim Brotherhood as well.
