No this is NOT a joke: The Bible actually says when Jesus will return and what day it will be on

jesus-returns-with-the-church-saints-at-end-of-the-tribulation

By RS: Many people quote the famous Bible passage from Matthew 24 where Jesus says plainly that no one knows the day or the hour that He will return except the Father:

But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. …Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.

I’ve quoted this many times as well. But I think it’s interesting that Jesus compared his return to the days of Noah, because while Noah did not know the day or the hour that God was going to flood the entire earth, he did know roughly when it was going to happen because God made it known that it would be in 120 years in Genesis 6:

Now it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born to them, that the sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose.

And the Lord said, “My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, for he is indeed flesh; yet his days shall be one hundred and twenty years.”

Also, allow me to remind of you what 1 Thessalonians 5 says:

But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief.

People always seem to miss that last line as they quote ‘it will come like a thief in the night’. Indeed I missed it too until someone pointed it out to me.

But it’s true, the Day of Christ’s return should not come as a surprise to you. In fact, the very day itself should not come as a surprise to you. If it does, it means you haven’t read the book of Daniel…and maybe a few others. Let me explain.

Jesus_secondcoming

Most of you are familiar with the seven year covenant that Israel makes with ‘many’, a covenant that the Bible says the Antichrist will confirm in Daniel 9 (note one week = seven years):

Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week;
But in the middle of the week
He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering.
And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate,
Even until the consummation, which is determined,
Is poured out on the desolate.”

Notice it says the ‘consummation’ is determined. Other translations refer to this similarly, as the ‘decreed destruction’ or ‘decreed end’. This means that day on which Christ returns to end the Antichrist is determined or decreed, which means it is a set day.

Also notice when the abomination of desolations (the Antichrist) comes on the scene, which Jesus also refers to in Matthew 24. He comes on the scene in the middle of that seven year covenant (in the middle of the week). This is important.

So we know the Antichrist’s invasion of Jerusalem happens in the middle of the seven year covenant. So how long does it last? Daniel 7 tells us:

He shall speak pompous words against the Most High,
Shall persecute the saints of the Most High,
And shall intend to change times and law.
Then the saints shall be given into his hand
For a time and times and half a time.

The saints (Christians) will be given into the Antichrist’s hand for a time, times, and half a time. Most Bibles with a footnote will tell you that means three years and a half. Basically, ‘time’ is one year, ‘times’ is two years, and ‘half a time’ is half a year or six months. So that means this invasion of Jerusalem will go on for three years and a half.

invasionofjerusalem

I don’t know about you, but that feels like a very long time for Jerusalem to be under the boot of the Antichrist. It’s no wonder Jesus said to run like you’ve never run before when you see the Antichrist standing in the temple:

“Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand), “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take anything out of his house. And let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes. But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath. For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be.

Sounds horrible. Zechariah 14 sheds a little light on what will be happening over those 3.5 years:

Behold, the day of the Lord is coming,
And your spoil will be divided in your midst.
For I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem;
The city shall be taken,
The houses rifled,
And the women ravished.
Half of the city shall go into captivity,
But the remnant of the people shall not be cut off from the city.

So back to the premise. If you haven’t already figured it out, the Bible tells us exactly when Jesus is coming back and it’s three and a half years from the invasion of Jerusalem. But it even gets more specific, to the very day of Christ’s return and we’ll find it in Daniel 12:

And from the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away, and the abomination of desolation is set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred and ninety days. Blessed is he who waits, and comes to the one thousand three hundred and thirty-five days.

So from the time the abomination of desolations (Antichrist) is ‘set up’ in the temple, meaning to be bestowed or to be worshipped, and the daily sacrifice is stopped, there will be 1290 days. In other words, when we see the Antichrist standing in the temple as Jesus warned in Matthew 24, it’s going to be 1290 days until Christ’s return. And if you haven’t done the math yet, 1290 days equals 3.5 years.

statuedaniel

So yes, when Jesus said no one knows the day or the hour except the Father, he was absolutely correct. And we still don’t know at this point when that day will be. But once we see the Antichrist (Gog) standing in the temple in Jerusalem proclaiming himself to be god and the daily sacrifices in the temple cease, then we know exactly what day He is returning. And I feel pretty certain it’s going to be within our lifetimes, and probably much sooner than most expect. Much sooner.

Wow……that’s all I can say. Speechless.

  • Trevor

    Zechariah 14:6-7:

6 It shall come to pass in that day
    That there will be no light;
    The lights will diminish.
7 It shall be one day
Which is known to the Lord—
    Neither day nor night.
But at evening time it shall happen
    That it will be light.

We can also be expecting His return at an approximate timing based on Israel’s time zone.

    • Eric

Right, Trevor. Come to think of it, 5 seconds to Jesus is probably 50 or so earth years. And until He comes, we must occupy for him. As He says in Luke 19:13, “Occupy till I come.” until then, we must watch, and also do what He intends for us to do until he returns, and try and bring as many people Saved and into the Kingdom as possible.

      • Trevor

        Thank you, Eric.

        • Eric

          Your welcome, Trevor.

I remember when you used to be Mr. Anxious, and I was always saying “Slow down!” lol. Things have changed a bit, it seems. We still have so much left to do, and many people to inform, Save, and educate. True, there must be a sense of urgency, but at the same time, patience is required, To those who say, “Jesus, come quickly!”, I would offer a rebuttal: “Jesus, teary so that we may Save more Lives in Your Name, and bring more sheep into the Flock.”

It is very exciting to think that we will probably live long enough–unless we get hit by a buss, struck by lightning, or other things that cause early death–to play a part in the most amazing event in human history! In our excitement, however, we must not get to absorbed and distracted by all these things so that we don’t miss what God’s got planned for us to do. Until He returns, He has things for us to do for the Kingdom. It is good to be aware, and know what is going on, but at the same time, we must temper that with patience.

          God Bless you. 🙂

I’m going to light a candle for you Eric. 🙂

God bless you and yours too Eric.

          • Trevor

            Indeed we do.

What’s your thoughts on the possibility of a rebuilt Jewish temple? I found a catholic site that, citing a couple of church fathers, said if a Jewish temple is built, it would be antichrist. But I’m curious to know what you have to say.

          • Stephen Dalton

Trevor, if you wish, scroll up and look at what I have to say about “a rebuilt temple”.

          • Trevor

I have and I am not listening to a grouchy old man.

          • Lidia

Could you have said this in a more constructive way? You can be mean sometimes.

          • Grandmere

These boys are rowdy sometimes. I joked with Stephen that God was gonna make him sit beside Steve Smith at the wedding supper of the Lamb.

          • Lidia

That’s a good one, Grandmere! LOL

          • DeusLoVult

Steve has my deepest condolences, if that is the case, my lady. 🙂

          • Grandmere

What do you call Stephen Dalton, Steve Smith and Pero E? The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. The nice thing is, you can take that however you want to. LOL

          • DeusLoVult

I choose to take it the wrong way then, my lady. 😉

          • Grandmere

Shhhh! You are supposed to keep it to yourself.

          • DeusLoVult

            Will do, my lady.

          • Grandmere

Be careful or He will put you in the middle.

          • DeusLoVult

Yikes! I wouldn’t want that, my lady. Across the table is as close as I want to be.

          • Steve Smith

It is not that bad, you can eat my food, and vodka. But you may have the reaction these guys did. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YvGDafHwVjo

          • Grandmere

Reminds me of the old Alka Seltzer ad. “Marshmallow meatballs. Yum.”

          • Steve Smith

Grandmere , Stephen has to set and drink a whole bottle of VODKA with me then we may be brothers.

          • Grandmere

            Save a shot for Baba!

          • Steve Smith

            Babas rule!!!!!

          • DeusLoVult

            I want some too, you know….. 🙂

          • Steve Smith

Sure thing….But can you drink like us? we will be brothers and I will teach you.

          • DeusLoVult

I think a Southerner can outdrink a Rusky any day. 😉

          • Steve Smith

            😉

          • DeusLoVult

I will be taking your challenge, though, we might have to wait until we reach Heaven to have the chance. No matter, I’m sure at least one of the Russian Saints has a stock of vodka lying around somewhere….

          • Steve Smith

I will pass on a secret, eat something oily, that keeps the alcohol from being taken up so fast.Russians eat when we drink.

          • DeusLoVult

I will remember that one. Maybe then, we can outdrink all of the Angels too. 🙂

          • Willing to die for Jesus

Steve you’ve found the very brand I drink!
I wouldn’t buy or drink anything OTHER THAN REAL RUSSIAN VODKA (especially the fake Swedish brands like Absolut vodka).
Remember those idiotic US gays who were calling for a “boycott” of Russian vodka due to the Russian Christian stance on homosexuality — which was only making sure gay “pride” parades and such evil didn’t expose children or innocents in public and lead to the normalization of this filth as has happened in the West? Only in a land asking for God’s judgment. Can’t recall other gays in other countries asking for this at the time – not even Australian sodomites. (Their “boycott” idea made want to buy Russian vodka even more.)

I always ask the liquor store clerks I want Russian-made vodka. Good thing is it’s always on discount at the liquor store (Jack D being another favorite but it’s so-overpriced). Still have a couple of these unopened bottles, but I don’t drink too much I do give them away to friends, relatives, my doctors, etc, as Christmas and Easter presents. Thanks for posting. Long Live Russian Culture!

          • Steve Smith

Dumb Blue boys, Stoli is made in Estonia I think.

          • Stephen Dalton

Trevor, I may be old (nearly 63) but I’m not grouchy!

          • Grandmere

Don’t insult me by calling 63 old. LOL

          • Lidia

            60’s is the new 50’s !!!

          • Stephen Dalton

It beats being called a grouch!

          • Grandmere

SNAP. You nailed me on that one.

          • DeusLoVult

Ah, which one these braggarts and swine dared to insult you, my lady? I shall run him through at your behest! 😉

          • Grandmere

Vengeance is mine. I’m gonna give him a wedggie.

          • DeusLoVult

No need to move fast, my lady, he’s old, remember? He will not have traveled far by tomorrow. 🙂

          • Grandmere

He isn’t old!!! You are too young to understand.

          • DeusLoVult

That’s what they all say, my lady. Try me.

          • Grandmere

Just wait. Time and years of eating right, working out and living on the ragged edge of denial will do the trick.

          • DeusLoVult

You’re right, my lady, I don’t get it. 🙂 I am insane though, maybe that has something to do with it.

          • Trevor

I have and I am not listening to a grouchy old man.

          • andrea

Thank you for posting that Trevor. Julie previously said her priest said he would dread it. A rebuilt temple. Pope frances talks of a book Lord of the World. I am not catholic but I read it on line. This has to do with the masons and rebuilding solomns temple and the Kabbalah. Now I have talked to masons and this is true they said.

          • AnthonyM

The book Lord of the World by Monsignor Robert Hugh Benson is a 1907 novel that centers upon the reign of the Anti-Christ and the End of the World. It has been called prophetic by some senior people. I found it grim, sobering, and a little unsettling as the future time it predicts could easily come to be. Here is a link to Wiki with a good summary:

            http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lord_of_the_World

            God Bless.
P.S. Sorry for the multiple edits, seems I can’t type today.

          • Eric

            Trevor,

I am curious about that as well. I’m curious if it will be the Temple Mount, or the Hagga Sophia. I’m unsure of where the Temple aspect falls in line as far as the sequence of events. I’ve been keeping up with Geo-Political things; for instance, the Pope saying he has three more years left to live, which would mean his death would be in 2018, which is also the 70th anniversary of the rebirth of Israel. I’m also aware that Turkey wants to go fully lazer by 2019, have the Caliphate up and Running by 2023, and then attack Rome a decade later in 2033.

Then we have the issues of Iran wanting to revive it’s Persian Empire by gobbling up Iraq. And then Saudi Arabia has to be nuked, Turkey will go to war with Egypt, and so on. There’s also the issue of talk of a FIVE YEAR peace treaty–not seven–between Turkey and Israel that’s in talks right now.

The Revised Ottoman Empire has yet to be fully resurrected–The Fatal Head Wound–And then paralel to that, Christendom still needs to be revived in the West, too. There’s also the issue of Japan wanting to militarize again. China is becoming Christian too, which is hopeful. I believe God’s got a plan for China, as well as America and the rest of the West.

I also don’t know if the “Ten horns who are ten Kings” have yet Risen. I assume the Antichrist will dispose those ten kings, and then absorb all those lands, leading to the Ottoman Empire being fully revived. Concerning Erdogan, he does indeed possess many Antichrist traits–I remember you mentioning something having to do with the mountains, relating to Gog–but I’m not entirely sold on him being the Antichrist quite yet. He COULD be one of the “Ten Kings” that the Antichrist later overthrows. I’m making no definite conclusions as of now, since he may be a precursor–a shadow of the real one–or he could be “It”. We don’t know yet.

I’ve also been watching the things said by Elder Pasios, too, and delved a bit into the Fatima Prophecies as well. It seems like there are so many pecies left to fall in place, and those could take years, if not decades. I also remember some geo-political expert say that a war with full-on lazer technology would commence by 2050. This made me think of verses where the Antichrist is described as calling fire down from heaven, and so on. There could be some truth to that as well.

Well, those are my thoughts, Trevor. Sorry to make an essay of sorts, but as far as I’m concerned, there are many pecies left to fall into place, and right now, it’s a bit difficult to figure out where they’ll all go, and how things will fit together. As for myself, I’m just waiting and observing–nothing’s conclusive yet.

          • Trevor

Hey, Eric, I sent you an email so I hope you will respond to it because there are certain people on the site that just decided to butt in our conversation.

          • Eric

            Wrote you back. 🙂

          • Grandmere

I’m sorry. Will be more careful in the future.

          • Trevor

            Oh no, it isn’t you.

          • Kamau41

            Eric-
You got the message spot on. This is exactly what I have been telling people for years. Many blessings to you.

          • Eric

            Thank you, Kamau. 🙂

  • Received a message this morning from a group in Israel who has been preparing for the building of the Third Temple of God. Here is an excerpt from that message by Gershon Solomon:
“…Time is very short and I know and I feel in all my bones that very soon G-D is going to complete the redemption of Israel and the entire world. In the lifetime of our generation, we shall be witnesses of the building of the eternal Holy Third Temple. We should expect to see major godly days. We should act intensively to bring them to pass in our lifetime and to be a part of this great time exactly as G-D is expecting us to be. Soon G-D is going to dwell in His Holy House on Mount Moriah in the midst of Jerusalem, Israel and all the world. Complete redemption is soon to come. However, before this, we are going to face both now and also in the future not simple days. The Faithful Movement prepares herself and acts even more intensively to work together with G-D to bring to pass this major vision in our lifetime with no delay…”

    • Trevor

      HALLELUJAH! AMEN!

    • RodK1975

Yeah, I remember reading somewhere a few years ago that Israel has been collecting it’s supplies for building the Temple and has them ready.

      • Grandmere

Here ya go , Rod. They are ready to go. Enjoy the photos. https://www.templeinstitute.org/

        • RodK1975

          Hey thanks, Grandmere…;-)

        • susan

I heard they found a red (bull)? I don’t know what they called it but it was a type of cow. Please forgive me for the use of the word cow, I’m sure that’s not correct.

          • Trevor

            Heifer.

I think that has been discredited.

          • susan

            Yes, Thank you Trevor. 🙂

          • Grandmere

I believe what they need are the ashes of the red heifer. I will have to check on that.

          • Stephen Dalton

Please, lets not get all atwitter about this temple mount stuff. It’s a waste of time and it’s not going to happen. God abolished the old worship in 33 AD, and he allowed it to be burnt to the ground in 70 AD, and it’s going to stay that way.

          • susan

Stephen, even though that may be exactly as you say, I think it’s fascinating that after thousands of years the Jews have returned and are preparing and finding so many things. We can learn much from them. I was grafted in and I love looking at my roots and how they’re growing. 🙂

          • Stephen Dalton

Susan, Jews have always been returning to Israel, so it’s no big deal. All their preparation will amount to nothing, because they’re basically trying to prop up the corpse of a religion that died in 33 AD. And because it’s a dead religion, we can’t learn nothing from them but Talmudic twaddle. And your roots are not in those infidels, but in the faithful Jews who looked forward to Christ, and in those who received him after he was revealed as God in the flesh.

          • Grandmere

Their only hope is to look on him who they pierced and weep for him as an only son.

          • andrea

            Amen

          • susan

Thank you Stephen. There will be a lot of mourning when they see him.

          • Willing to die for Jesus

LOL! I love it.. I’m going to have to steal that from you – “Talmudic twaddle”. God bless you.

          • andrea

Them returning won’t be good concerning the last 3.5 years. It will be a great bloodshed.

          • Tom_mcewen

No to worry Susan, we have red bull in a can now, very easy to find in 7-11.

          • Grandmere

I hear he has a wicked little kick.

          • Stephen Dalton

            Is it kosher?

          • Grandmere

            SNAP

          • Tom_mcewen

No, but the airplanes are great.

          • Stephen Dalton

You lost me. What do you mean by airplanes?

          • Tom_mcewen

They provide the money for a flight team to fly red bull racers in air shows.

          • Grandmere

Hey Tom. Didn’t Red Bull sponsor that guy who broke the world skydiving record?

          • Tom_mcewen

            Yes

          • Hi Susan. It is a cow but referred to as the “Red Heifer” that needs to be pure red, unblemished and pass various other qualifications before it can be an acceptable Temple sacrifice.
            (Reference Numbers 19:2-6)

    • Tom_mcewen

The end of Temple worship ended with death of Christ.

      • Great info. However, remember that Orthodox Judaism does NOT accept Jesus (Yeshua HaMashiach) nor do they believe that Moshiach needs to be a “Divine being”. This is why I believe that, yes, the Third Temple will be built and hailed by the Orthodox Jewish people and many in the world, but it will be the end-times scenario that involves the deception of anti-Christ making others believe that he is “the one” who finally brings peace to Jerusalem. Prophecy is pretty much clear that a Third Temple will be built; Orthodox Jews are intent on this happening even if it means that Israel signs a “peace-pact” with the Muslim world that allows that Temple to be built, side by side, next to the Dome of the Rock, and where they can worship together in a show of interfaith agreement.

This is what will make it easy for many in the world to accept the next individual who steps into the world scene with a “one size fits all” peace plan.

By the way, were you aware that Orthodox Judaism teaches the awaited coming of two (2)Moshiachs? According to an Orthodox friend in Israel, Moshiach ben Yosef appears first and is killed in battle and then Moshiach ben David appears as the one to restore all peace on earth and set up God’s Kingdom in Jerusalem.

        • andrea

Thank you for the information. i knew bits and pieces but not all together.

        • Tom_mcewen

It does not matter, The rejection of the offering by God in any new temple, as He did in the temple overturned in 70AD will make it just a building, not a temple..

        • Stephen Dalton

I don’t believe the temple will be rebuilt. Christ himself said “not one stone shall be left here upon another, that shall not be thrown down.” Matthew 24:2 The New Covenant replaced the Old one, so there’s no reason to rebuild the Temple. Oh, the Jews might try it, but it will never happen. They tried it in the 4th century, but God put a stop to that nonsense by causing fireballs to erupt from the earth, burning those who dared to defy the words of Christ. If it happens again, we can expect a fiery repeat of the same. The only temple that God will recognize now can be found in Ephesians 2:19-22 and I Peter 2:5.

          • andrea

I have heard that also. I don’t want animal sacrifices. Jesus already paid the price once and for all.

        • Tom_mcewen

Mike I may have to say I am sorry, I came on too strong, but I work with a guy who says Yeshua all day long and hears the holy spirit and does spiritual warfare on facebook on his time off. I find it to be a 19th century addon from protestantism.

          • Grandmere

Growing up prot. I never heard that. It is a modern innovation.

          • LOL – no problem, Tom. Actually, Yeshua is the accurate name that Jesus would have been called by the Messianic Jews of His day and many Messianic folks still use that reference to this day. Is your co-worker a Messianic Jew?

          • Tom_mcewen

You do not understand Hebrew was dead. Greek was the language spoken and written. The messianic jews spoke Greek.

          • Have you ever heard of people being bi-lingual? lol Regardless of the primary language, many ethnic people still retain and converse in their original language. Kind of like if all of a sudden Arabic was made the official language in this country, you might still be speaking to your friends and family in English but conversing in Arabic out in public. 🙂

          • Tom_mcewen

How does that work for the native americans in the public area in work and talking to the government, about the same time frame. The Greeks and the Romans were not nice people. Jesus spoke the sermon on the mount in Greek to the common people and they understood..

          • Well, there again, Tom, you are noting that the “official” language of that day in Jerusalem was Greek, yet the Jewish people of the various Hebrew tribes would still wish to retain their culture, and first language. As far as “Native Americans”, I grew up in a state that has tribal land set aside for them in the beautiful scenic area of the Pacific Northwest. I was even inducted as an “honorary member” of that tribe for special news and community work I was involved in. Yet, today, in the 21st century America where English is the common language, many tribes still speak their native language on the reservations and desire to keep their culture alive. They can live in a dual society just as you would want to if you were placed in the same situation. The Hebrew name for “Jesus” is Yeshua; that’s the name his mother, step father, and half-brothers and sisters would have called Him at that time.

          • Tom_mcewen

No, there no history to support your theory, while it is true there are mayan indians who retain their culture, but people like your hebrews was not a part of any culture. the jews in Roman time was seven percent of the population and the wealthy part in trade, which required Greek, in all parts of their lives.

          • Tom, the point is that your co-worker is still correct in referring to Jesus’ name as “Yeshua”. Yes, the Jewish people would definitely learn to speak Greek in order to engage in commerce but that does not mean that they would forsake their root language. Just like Grandmere mentioned, Aramaic was also spoken and Hebrew was still retained in the Torah reading then just as it is today in Orthodox Synagogues. Another example is that you may say that you pray to God, but an Orthodox Jew will say they pray to Yahweh. Still being the God of the Bible.

          • Tom_mcewen

Try again the Root language was dead, it was dying when the people were in Babylon and died after the invasion of the Greeks. Do we speak or understand the old english of the saxons? Aramaic was not a common language of the hebrew people. Hebrew was dead. dead.

          • Grandmere

They definitely kept the Torah in Hebrew and were required to teach it to their children. I always heard the everyday language was Aramaic.

          • Yes, Grandmere, I think you’re right about Aramaic being the everyday language of that period. Thanks

          • Stephen Dalton

My deepest condolences to you, Tom! I don’t care for these wannabe jews either, and my ancestors were Jewish!

          • Tom_mcewen

I just find it a kind of I am closer to Jesus then you because I call him Yeshua. but I find protestantism is voo-doo hold your mouth a certain way and say some words and you are saved.

Well whenever the date is… we should ALWAYS make sure we are READY TO MEET Jesus… since we NEVER KNOW when our time is up! We have to live EACH DAY AS IF IT IS OUR LAST. Repent every day for our wrongdoing, sins, pray without ceasing to God and to His Son Jesus.

    • andrea

Remember Julie I believe from a while back? She is a Jesuit advisor on the link to me she said her priest is dreading the rebuilding of the temple. What is interesting is pope Francis talks of the book the lord of the world. This has to do to with the temple.it is free to read on line.

      • susan

Thank you Andrea. I’ll try to read it.

      • Willing to die for Jesus

Andrea, Julie isn’t a Jesuit advisor, she is an advisor to lay professionals in the Church, if I’m not wrong, that would be people who are not clergy members.
        God bless you.

  • Ignacio

I can already imagine christians in heaven and earth counting down the days after we see the abomination of desolation. Waiting for Jesus to come to the earth as time passes and so many injustices are done while we wait in hope for the lord.

  • Countryflowers

Walid, when Jesus said no one knows the day he will come is referring to the rapture. He “comes” as a thief in the night. But the day he “returns” to the earth is the three and a half years in the last of the great tribulation. The bible said about this event , every eye will see him return. This day is told in the bible. The Church of God that I attended always taught it like that. These are two different events. That’s why so many people get confused when they read what Jesus said.

    • Tom_mcewen

Rapture? could you give me five verses, a paragraph, a book, a word or two from Jesus to support this new theology?

      • OrthodoxKGC2015

Indeed, and it is a very dangerous new theology as well. Even were one were to grant it any legitimacy as a possibility even, imagine the devastation were the ‘rapture’ not to happen…. Many disappointed Christians would convert to Antichrist in despair at not avoiding temptation and tribulation.

        • Grandmere

I agree with you. Many may fall away when they find themselves in the time of testing. Our brothers in the Middle East are giving their all, not waiting around for a rapture.

          • OrthodoxKGC2015

It is too ‘convenient’, this idea of a ‘Rapture’, so that Christians will fall asleep thinking God will not discomfort them with trial and tragedy on the scale of Antichrist and the Great Tribulation. In fact, they the ‘Rapture Bus’ people think that ‘the worse the better’, and that soon they’ll be magically whisked away to heaven while the rest of mankind, evil and suffering, is decimated. It is a cowardly, theologically wrong, and stupid heresy…. Satan’s temptation to fool ‘christians’ into thinking they don’t have to be, well, Christians, and fight and be martyred for Jesus Christ.

            In Christ,

            OKGC

        • susan

Or better yet, gather at their pastors house for a little discussion. Even if folks believe in a pre trib, I hope they will inform themselves about other possible fulfillments. Hope for a pre-trib but prepare for a post. 🙂

          • OrthodoxKGC2015

            I hope rather that all who hold to the Name of Christ will continue to do so, in the darkest trial ever faced by Christians. As the Orthodox Pope of Old Rome said concerning Antichrist;

“Oh the trial it will be, when the Christian is tortured, and his tormentor works miracles before his eyes!’

We may wish to be delivered from that hour before it comes, but we will not be. In fact, to endure the test of Antichrist as the Fathers said, will make us the Latter-Day Church, greater than even the Early Church in Glory!

That is the other reason for the Satanic Lie of the ‘Rapture’; to make us not think of the Glory of combating and triumphing over Antichrist himself when many of us fall into his hands, to think rather that we will leave the World altogether like cowards.

            God Bless,

            OKGC

        • Tom_mcewen

Jesus says But he that shall persevere to the end, he shall be saved.

The Rapture crowd But he that shall not need to persevere to the end, he shall be taken out of the world because he is saved.

          • OrthodoxKGC2015

When you put it that way, and I have before, you realize how sick and delusional it all is, this heresy that hobbles the ability of Christians to fight or to endure evils in the World.

    • LJW

Countryflowers, study the Fall Feasts of the LORD for the answers you are seeking. “No man knows the day or the hour” is an exact time. The sighting of the new moon is two days long. HE only comes as a thief to those who (do not) know him. Obtain a Jewish Calendar and Study the Feasts. I promise you will not be disappointed.

  • susan

1,335 minus 1,290 = 45 days. Does anyone know from scripture what will be happening during those 45 days? Thank you Ted!

    • Grandmere

I think they used a 360 day lunar year.

      • susan

Hmmm. So there is no difference in the days in the original? Thank you Grandmere.

      • LJW

Grandmere, it is the Jewish calendar, Lunar and Solar, that Jesus has always, and only, operated on. Go all the way back to creation. Chapter 1:5 God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. So there was (evening), and there was (morning), (one day). Verse 2 says, darkness was on the face of the deep. Darkness was first. Jesus fulfilled the Spring Feasts of the LORD to the very minute and day and HE will do the same on the Fall Feasts of the LORD. You will know the exact day for each Feast because the days do not rotate like ours do. Understanding the Feasts are KEY in understanding end time events and when they will occur. Christians operate on a solar calendar, Muslims operate on a lunar calendar and Jesus operates on a Jewish calendar. I believe Satan tried to mess up the Jewish calendar, to throw off our accuracy of the timing of events, however, knowledge is increasing in the last days and I believe this time discrepancy will be, if it has not already, be corrected.

        • Grandmere

          I am cool with that.

  • eassa

It has been my understanding that in Gen 6:3, “My Spirit will not contend with man forever, for he is mortal; his days will be a hundred and twenty years.” it was referring to man’s life expectance being reduced.
Chapter 5 gives the life table from Adam to Noah and his sons. The life expectancy was very high before the flood, which God stated must be reduced. Life expectancy reduced more for several generations after the flood.

    • Trevor

Yes and it also gave Noah the time he needed to build the ark. It was a behemoth of a boat so he needed all the time he could muster to build it.

      • Tom_mcewen

Yes, it was very big, but according to the 6000 year people, it was not big enough for all the dinosaurs so they were left behind. but there was enough room for the blasted fly.

        • Grandmere

Even a dinosaur can only tread water for so long.

          • susan

            🙂

          • Tom_mcewen

like the tyrannosaurus rex said as he bit in to the Apatosaurus (Brontosaurus) it taste like chicken

          • susan

            🙂

        • susan

          And roaches!!!

          • Grandmere

Yuck. The flies and roaches swarmed over the dinosaur carcasses. I wonder if God will blow out their pilot light in the future.

        • OrthodoxKGC2015

What’s to say that they weren’t young beasts, or even in the egg? And most Dinosaurs were around the size of a turkey or chicken anyway. I’m a Young Earth Creationist, so I believe it was done, and done somehow. I’m not afraid to say I do not and cannot believe in macro-evolution as such.

As for the 120 years, I believe that both interpretations of lifespan and time needed to build the Ark and to preach and warn people, are not exclusive.

          God bless,

          OKGC

          • Tom_mcewen

Occam’s razor, the simplest answer is normally the correct one.

          • OrthodoxKGC2015

Exactly, it simply happened. After the Cataclysm, certain forms of life rescued on the Ark could no longer adapt for long to the changed post-flood environment, and went extinct then…. Or not, with stories from the Congo and elsewhere of beasts like the ‘Mokele-Mbembe'(sp?)and the like.

          • Grandmere

If they were in the shell how would Noah tell if he had a male and a female?

          • OrthodoxKGC2015

Reptiles have the ability to switch genders in major crisis environmental situations, a point that was a major premise behind the ‘Jurassic Park’ books and movies…. But if God inspired St. Noah to build the Ark, I’m sure He could help with the details. Plus, given that many people lived for hundreds of years pre-Flood, I think Noah and the Civilization around him was very advanced in it’s own way, so I don’t see it as being a huge insurmountable problem; the storage of food, animals (many were probably young and in hibernation states), and so forth.

            God Bless,

            OKGC

          • EBH54

I am a young earth creationist also. I love science. I admire great scientists like Louis Pasteur and Raymond V Damadian who also believe the six day creation account.

          • OrthodoxKGC2015

Ah yes, real scientists! As Pascal, himself a Scientist, once said; “If there is a God than where is the difficulty?”

            It really is that simple.

            In Christ!

            OKGC

          • LJW

The 120 years is also an interpretation for how many jubilees there would be from creation to the new millennium. 6000 years, 120 years to build the ark, a life span, and 120 jubilees. Layers of interpretation as Walid says. According to the Jewish calendar, at sundown, March 26, 2001, the Biblical Hebrew calendar reached the year 6001 from creation. The Day or millennium of the LORD had begun. Many Rabbis met at the Western Wall and declared, “the time of Jacobs trouble had now begun.” This information is from Michael Rood who has spent 40 plus years correcting the calendar and writing the chronological gospels. This may or may not be correct, but it has to be very close to being accurate. I don’t know how many Rabbis’ or Biblical scholars worked on this project with him or exactly who they are, but you can probably google it.

          • Trevor

The last part – exactly right. That was mentioned in the book of Hebrews I believe.

        • Trevor

Lol! My ex-wife’s mother in law had a fly swatter that said, “if Noah had been any smarter, he would have swatted those flies.”

On a serious note, I have seen the debate between old and young earth creation, and I think it is moot. We really have no idea how old earth and even the universe is.

I have been fascinated with the possibility of dinosaurs roaming the earth the same time Adam and Eve were around to Noah’s day. Zoologist says that alligators are part of the dinosaurs family, so I am curious.

There was this idea that there was one super continent at one time before it broke up into the continents we have today, and it seem that the rate of movement between continents continue today.

Has anyone every heard about the 3 days of darkness? This is a prophecy based on quotes from Jesus, the virgin Mary, and other holy people of different eras and parts of the world very similar in nature. There’s far too much to write it all out here but it is on the internet. Very frightening and believable especially with this impending sign: “Revolutions, downfall of governments, dissensions, wars, confusion in high places, lack of respect for authority, treachery, corruption, brutalities, atrocities.” And this one “Breakdown of family life, immorality, adultery, infidelity, promiscuity, perversion and violence of youth, disobedience, lack of values, indecent nakedness of dress, countless sins and iniquities, people only concerned with eating, drinking, dancing and pleasures.” Sounds like this 3 days of darkness is very close if this is a true prophecy.

    • AnthonyM

The Three Days of Darkness was a private revelation (to just one person), and so not really trusted. Also, it is incorrectly attributed to Fr Padre Pio, but the author is the late mystic, Blessed Anna Maria Taigi. Here is some info: http://forums.catholic.com/showthread.php?p=10165455&highlight=three+days#post10165455

      • Catbr

Sorry, but I have a booklet from years ago stating what I already said in my comment that there were many others including the one you mentioned, who had stated the same prophetic things contained in the 3 days of darkness. “While our church gives no official pronouncement regarding these statements, yet when several people of proven holiness and simplicity widely separated, give similar prophecies, then the church gives at least some credence to their sayings.” taken from the booklet. So it is entirely up to the individual to accept what it is about or to disregard as you have done.

        • AnthonyM

You are right. I don’t entirely discount it, as who knows exactly how everything will happen and what will occur.

          • susan

Same here. I don’t discount it either. Especially since the book of Joel talks about darkness before the coming of the Lord. Perhaps they have more details….Or not. Time will tell, but I have some blessed candles just in case.

  • Andy Holland

But He is with us now and ever. Jesus is with us in the Sacred Mysteries. He is with us, we in Him, He in us. He lives in our hearts that we prepare for Him. He lives with the light of the all Good Holy and Life-Giving Spirit who proceeds from the Father, as where the Son is there the Father is also.

Don’t be afraid of what the fools will do to us. Rejoice and be glad. Testify to Jesus goodness and real presence always, bless our poor enemies, bless and do not curse and pray so that when He comes we are awake and sober and ready.

Then like the good thief we will bear the marks of Christ, paradise will be opened, and we will receive the most wonderful crowns – kindness, goodness, council and pure love everlasting. Prayer, fasting good works they will never be able to take away.(Actually they will probably facilitate fasting, can always shed a few – we can be too rich but not too thin)

  • EBH54

This means when the antichrist signs the 7 year peace treaty with Israel it will be 3.5 years before the abmonation of desolation.

      Lyrics to ‘September’;

Do you remember the 21st night of September?
Love was changing the minds of pretenders
      While chasing the clouds away

      Our hearts were ringing
In the key that our souls were singing.
As we danced in the night,
Remember how the stars stole the night away

Ba de ya, say do you remember
Ba de ya, dancing in September
Ba de ya, never was a cloudy day

Ba de ya de ya de ya
Ba de ya de ya de ya
Ba de ya de ya de ya de ya

      My thoughts are with you
Holding hands with your heart to see you
      Only blue talk and love,
Remember how we knew love was here to stay

Now December found the love that we shared in September.
      Only blue talk and love,
Remember the true love we share today

Ba de ya, say do you remember
Ba de ya, dancing in September
Ba de ya, never was a cloudy day

Ba de ya, say do you remember
Ba de ya, dancing in September
Ba de ya, golden dreams were shinny days

      Love bells was ringing
      Our souls were singing
Do you remember, never a cloudy day

Ba de ya, say do you remember
Ba de ya, dancing in September
Ba de ya, never was a cloudy day

Ba de ya, say do you remember

            ‘After the love is gone’ lyrics;

“For a while, to love was all we could do

We were young and we knew

            And our eyes were alive

Deep inside we knew our love was true

For a while, we paid no mind to the past

            We knew love would last

            Every night somethin’ right

Would invite us to begin the dance

            Somethin’ happened along the way

What used to be happy was sad

            Somethin’ happened along the way

And yesterday was all we had

And oh, after the love has gone

How could you lead me on

And not let me stay around

Oh, oh, oh, after the love has gone

What used to be right is wrong

Can love that’s lost be found

For a while, to love each other with all

We would ever need love, was strong for so long

Never knew that what was wrong, oh baby wasn’t right

We tried to find what we had till sadness was all we shared

We were scared, this affair would lead our love into

            Somethin’ happened along the way

            Yesterday was all we had

            Somethin’ happened along the way

What used to be happy is sad

            Somethin’ happened along the way

Oh, yesterday was all we had

And oh, after the love has gone

How could you lead me on

And not let me stay around

Oh, oh, oh, after the love has gone

What used to be right is wrong

Can love that’s lost be found

Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh ,oh, after the love has gone

What used to be right is wrong

Can love that’s lost be found

The Rapture will precede the Tribulation. That is Not Christ’s 2 nd coming as He will meet us in the air. His 2 nd coming will be when He comes to destroy Israel’s enemies.

  • Kamau41

This is another HUGE eye opener. Amazing.

  • Eric

It is all God’s work indeed! Peace to you as well. 🙂

  • susan

And walk in darkness again? No thank you.

  • susan

What scripture? Can you find the verse? This is the first I’ve heard ” lighting candles is a testimony against you and against that which the Bible calls an abomination”. Seriously.

    • Patrizia Bruni

Susan, they can’t understand. So pray for them and go on your way. I’m Catholic too and I see blessings and miracles from Jesus every day. Unfortunately many catholic ministers are following the wrong path and they think that the whole catholic church is false. But we know the truth. God bless you sis.

      • susan

Sighs. I see the ministers removing the shared cup of His precious blood because some are convinced they’ll get a disease. They remove the incense because some run out of the church because of the way it smells. It’s not hard to imagine that some will remove the grain offering “in solidarity” because of the famine in the years to come. Then all we’ll have is an altar. Perhaps I will live to journey to a place in Ecuador where the faith shall be preserved. 🙂

Sorry but this is ALL incorrect interpretation of scripture! The 70th week ALREADY took place and is referring to JESUS causing all sacrifices and oblation to cease, when the veil in the temple was torn (without hands) from top to bottom! JESUS WAS THE PERFECT SACRIFICE! Daniel 7:25 is describing the Papacy/Vatican 25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. The interpretation given on this website by Walid Shoebat was created by the demonic Jesuits to steer people away from the truth that the Papacy is The Mother of Harlots, Woman Who Rides the Beast, Great Whore and the Pope is The Man of Sin, Son of Perdition! The 70th week began in 27 AD when Jesus’s ministry began,The Sacrifices ended when Jesus DIED in the midst of the week, (31 AD) and the covenant went to the Gentiles when the council plugged their ears and stoned Stephen to death in 34 AD! (the END of the 70th week) ALL characteristics of the Beast that rose out of the sea/ little horn power with the eyes of a man, drunk with the blood of the saints, sits in the temple of God as God, speaks great blasphemies against the Most High, etc. ALL describe the Roman Catholic Papacy!

    • “Daniel 7:25 is describing the Papacy/Vatican 25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High”

The Pope doesn’t seem to have worn you out, you are still chattering like a parrot wearing us all out with the same record.

  • kensme

Walid ….this is a very good teaching

  • Eric

    You’re welcome. 🙂

  • Patrizia Bruni

Wasn’t God Himself telling Moses to build a chandelier? How can that be idolatry? And didn’t Jesus say (and you protestants or evangelists always repeat it) that WHOEVER believes in Jesus Christ has eternal life?
So, sorry for you, but Catholics WILL go to heaven. 🙂
    Have a good life.

Sharon. For the sake of argument…lets pretend I agree with you, which I don’t. But let’s say that I do. Which church then did Peter start? Yours? Please trace it for me.

  • susan

Which Christian leader dropped those books in the 1500s? And which books did he drop?

  • susan

Sighs. There’s so much flawed here, I hardly know where to begin. Perhaps you can tell me the name of Christ’s church? The very first one? And where it was located? Here’s a clue for you. Paul mentions it.

  • Since you are so good in history, show us one Christian who thought like Sharon Campbell from 100 – 1500 AD. Just name one and show us what they said that matches your theology.

  • susan

Thank your for replying. I can appreciate you don’t have a lot of time. Happens to me too. You keep giving me reasons why you think the Roman Catholic Church cannot be the true church in the New Testament. So a simple question. Who kept the letters in the bible that we have today? Someone had to keep them. All the Apostles except for John were martyred. Yet we have the New Testament. Are there any sources out there that explain why we still have them today?

  • susan

Have you read the book of Tobit? Or Wisdom or Macabees? Would you like to hear the reasons why it’s still in the Bible? Or is your mind already made up? 🙂

  • susan

Oh there’s plenty on this site if you care to search the articles. It’s time for you to grow up and do some of your own research. You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make him drink it. I will help Sharom as the need arises. You’re on your own.

Lord Jesus said to his apostles at the last supper to do this in memory of me. Jesus apostles lived a considerable time after Lord Jesus death and resurrection. So you are wrong and have no grounds to argue.

If I may offer the Baptist perspective: Indeed, only faith in Christ can save us. It’s not about candles or anything else besides faith in Christ. And, the Bible DOES say to “get out of her” (the Catholic Church). I’m saying this in love, as the Baptist Church teaches that when we speak, we must speak in love. I have no hatred for Catholics, and I’m not angry as I type this.

    • “Bible DOES say to “get out of her” (the Catholic Church)”

I looked everywhere and could not find this verse. Can you quote it?

    • susan

Hi! :). This is an older thread. If not for Walid, I wouldn’t have been aware of your reply. I love the Baptists. Only been to one service and that was a funeral. Those ministers give it to you straight! ;). Heaven or Hell. I like their honesty. Did you know that after the Catholic Church, there’s only one other church satan considers a threat? It’s yours..the Baptists.

I’m not sure why all the fuss against candle lighting… :/

  • susan

“1.) The lighting of candles is a pagan tradition, and the Baptist Church stands against paganism.”

Is this what you’re referring to? These brothers and sisters are pagans? :/

  • susan

sighs. This is why I usually don’t bother replying to people who immediately lambast me for lighting a candle. Most of you are uneducated and judge mental. Even while saying you must and only speak in the spirit of love. I was hoping you might be different. :). I said I would light a candle, which by the way…members of apostolic succession churches know…also includes prayers. Were you able to view the video in the link above? It shows hundreds of parishioners in the First Baptist church solemnly standing in the dark holding candles. But I did not see an answer to my question. Are they “pagan” like me for lighting a candle and praying and singing and worshiping?

“And, while we’re talking about “irreligious,” I would like to state the Baptist position that it isn’t RELIGION that Saves; it’s JESUS that/who Saves.”

Is believing in Jesus all I must do to be saved for the entirety of my life? If I do this will you promise me I won’t go to hell? May I isolate the single verse “believe in Jesus and you will be saved”?And can I scratch out the rest of the bible? Cause Jesus said some other stuff to…Jesus said to do stuff… I don’t want to DO stuff. I prefer to just believe. Jesus said we had to DO stuff in remembrance of Him. I’d rather not DO stuff in remembrance of Him. I’d much rather do stuff in REMEMBRANCE of Him. You know…just remembering Him without the DOING part. Because Jesus said we had to eat His flesh and drink His blood…and I asked my Methodist minister if that’s what happened at communion and my minister said no. He said Methodists don’t believe that.
What do the Baptists believe? Are there any churches that actually believe the bread and wine are the body and blood of Jesus Christ? And I’ve been confused by something else Jesus did. Maybe you can clarify it for me. Why did Jesus breathe on His disciples and tell them any sins they forgave would be forgiven by Him and any sins they didn’t forgive then He wouldn’t forgive them either? Was Jesus starting His own religion and giving those disciples His authority or something or what? When I asked my minister about this verse, he said it doesn’t mean what it says. But then he couldn’t tell me for sure what it actually did mean. So now I’m even more confused. Can you help me? Please? Thank you. 🙂

  • Thats us alright. Nurse will be with you in a minute. When did you get your last Haldol shot?

  • “I beleive Pope Francis is the Anti Christ ”

I believe the Antichrist is named George.

  • I don’t get it George. Its easy for you to say that the Antichrist’s name is Francis but its difficult to think his name could also be George?

In other words, why pick Francis? Tell us George? No one was able to predict the name of Antichrist until you came along.

Or is it that the name Francis is easy to pick on but when George is picked on you take offense?

  • the Bible even tells us that her destruction of this Babylon is heard at the Red Sea (Jeremiah 49:21) and is where the shipmasters will weep and wail “Alas Alas that great city …” (Revelation 18).

The Red Sea is not in Rome.

his is also confirmed in Revelation 18 regarding the harlot city:

“And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning” (Revelation 18:9). “And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, ‘What [city is] like unto this great city!” (Revelation 18:18).

And once one studies Isaiah 34, there should be no doubt. In nearly identical language concerning Mystery Babylon in Revelation 17, 18:

“Its streams shall be turned into pitch and its dust into brimstone; its land shall become burning pitch. It shall not be quenched night or day; its smoke shall ascend forever” (Isaiah 34:8-10).

Incredibly, almost three millennia before the discovery of fuel oil, Isaiah predicted the burning of the very thing that was used in Babel to build a name for the rebellious ones – the pitch. Pitch is bitumen and tar, which technically is simply crude oil.

This judgment is not against Rome but “Edom” which extends from Teman to Dedan:

“Thus Says the Lord GOD; ‘Because that Edom hath dealt against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and hath greatly offended, and revenged himself upon them. ‘Therefore thus Says the Lord GOD; ‘I will also stretch out mine hand upon Edom, and will cutt off man and beast from it; and I will make it desolate from Teman; and they of Dedan shall fall by the sword’” (Ezekiel 25:12-13).

The Lord vindicates Rome. He has made the geographical location of Mystery Babylon quite clear for anyone who would seek it out.
This destruction of Arabia is complete and fits the description made by several prophets whose prophecies correlate with Isaiah 34:

“Therefore in one day her plagues will overtake her: death, mourning, and famine. She will be consumed by fire, for mighty is the Lord God who judges her. When the kings of the earth who committed adultery with her and shared her luxury see the smoke of her burning, they will weep and mourn over her. Terrified at her torment, they will stand far off and cry: ‘Woe! Woe, O great city, O Babylon, city of power! In one hour your doom has come! … Every sea captain, and all who travel by ship, the sailors, and all who earn their living from the sea, will stand far off. When they see the smoke of her burning, they will exclaim, ‘Was there ever a city like this great city?’” (Revelation 18:8-10, 17-18).

Apart from Sodom and Gomarrah, this type of utter destruction has never been seen in any other city, including Hiroshima and Nagasaki. “After her destruction, Babylon will merely be a home for demons, evil spirits, and scavenging desert creatures” (Revelation 18:1-2).

This is in line with the ancient Eastern perception that desolate desert wastelands were the dwelling place of demons and unclean spirits. The point being emphasized is that after Babylon is destroyed, there will be absolutely no human life ever found there again. Jeremiah agrees; he describes this:

So desert creatures and hyenas will live there, and there the owl will dwell. It will never again be inhabited or lived in from generation to generation” (Jeremiah 50:39). Isaiah confirms a similar fate: “It shall be a habitation of jackals” (Isaiah 34:14).

And again later, the destruction of Babylon is described as being absolute. Isaiah speaks of this event:

“For I will rise up against them, says the Lord of hosts, and cut off from Babylon its name and remnant, and offspring and prosperity, says the Lord … I will sweep it with the broom of destruction” (Isaiah 12:15).

The broom of destruction! Anyone who has seen footage of a nuclear explosion has seen the fury and the power of the ominous cloud that sweeps up everything in its path.

In Isaiah 21:9, Isaiah levels a prophetic oracle against Babylon using the same announcement in Revelation 18:1-2 and Revelation 14:8: “Babylon is fallen, is fallen”:

“The burden against Dumah” (Isaiah 21:11)
“The burden against Arabia” (Isaiah 21:13)
“All the glory of Kedar will fail” (Isaiah 21:16)

Do you see “Arabia”? This is not Rome.

These are all in Arabia, which is destroyed by Iran “Elam” (Isaiah 21:2).

    Elam is Iran.

  • All I see are biblical references without a single line of text. Is this how you share the word of God by making a claim, reference only the reference and then make your words to become the word of God?

I do not see a single verse in your comment. When people do this its because they are not interested in the Bible and are more interested in making their prophetic view as Bible.

You’re in deep trouble is this is how you handle the Word of God.

Take a look at my other comment where I share THE TEXT for a change.

  • George,

If we are to have a dialogue, you need to answer questions instead of changing subjects or else I will bail out.

    I asked:

“why pick Francis? Tell us George? No one was able to predict the name of Antichrist until you came along.”

Can you tell me a single prophecy expert who named the name of Antichrist and was correct?

    Just one?

You will fail to answer this simple question which means that all who tried to name the Antichrist were bogus.
