The Catholic Church Comes To The Defense Of The Muslim Boston Bomber Who Murdered Americans, Declaring, ‘No matter how heinous the crime, He Should Not Be Killed”

By Theodore Shoebat

Several major Catholic bishops are now coming to the defense of the Muslim Boston Bomber, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, saying that no matter heinous the crime, he should not be killed, going so far as to affirm that no matter horrific a crime, no criminal should be executed. The statement was signed and affirmed by several major Catholic bishops, Cardinal Seán P. O’Malley, Edgar M. da Cunha, Mitchell T. Rozanski, and Robert J. McManus. They all declared:

Given that the defendant, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, is being tried in federal court with the possibility of capital punishment, and that the Bishops have testified against capital punishment in the past, we feel it is fitting to clarify the Church’s teaching regarding the use of the death penalty.
The Church has taught that the cases in which the execution of the offender is an absolute necessity are “rare, if not practically nonexistent.”

The Church’s teaching is further developing in recognition of the inherent dignity of all life as a gift from God. As Pope Francis has recently stated, “[The death penalty] is an offense against the inviolability of life and the dignity of the human person. When the death penalty is applied, it is not for a current act of oppression, but rather for an act committed in the past. It is also applied to persons whose current ability to cause harm is not current, as it has been neutralized – they are already deprived of their liberty.”

The defendant in this case has been neutralized and will never again have the ability to cause harm. Because of this, we, the Catholic Bishops of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, believe that society can do better than the death penalty. As the Bishops of the United States said in their 2005 statement A Culture of Life and the Penalty of Death, “no matter how heinous the crime, if society can protect itself without ending a human life, it should do so.” We believe these words remain true today in the face of this most terrible crime.

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was from Dagestan. Do these demonic bishops know what they do to Christians in Dagestan? Watch this video and you will see what these demonic savages did to Russia Christians in Dagestan:

To these bishops, these very cruel and devilish Muslims who slaughtered these helpless Russian Christians should be spared.

I would like to present a short and brief case that what these heretics say, in regards to the Church’s teaching on the death penalty, is absolute hogwash, and not only that, but dangerous. These Vatican II heretics love to quote some new modern addition to Catholic teachings, while ignoring both Scripture (which is a pillar of Church teaching and the very foundation which Catholic teaching is not permitted to contradict) and the teachings of the Fathers. How can these people accept that the words of one pope all of a sudden trump the statements of so many Fathers and Popes who have supported the death penalty? The words of Francis and the modern prelates do not bring to nought the words of Pope Innocent I when he said:

“It must be remembered that power was granted by God [to the magistrates], and to avenge crime by the sword was permitted. He who carries out this vengeance is God’s minister (Romans 13:1-4). Why should we condemn a practice that all hold to be permitted by God? We uphold, therefore, what has been observed until now, in order not to alter the discipline and so that we may not appear to act contrary to God’s authority.” (Innocent 1, Epist. 6, C. 3. 8, ad Exsuperium, Episcopum Tolosanum, 20 February 405, PL 20, 495. See also Bellarmine, On Laymen or Secular People, ch. 13, ed. Tutino, p. 50, where he cites Innocent I support for the death penalty in his third epistle, ch. 3, sent to Exuperius)

The words of these far-left bishops do not destroy the words of St. Jerome, when he said:

To punish murderers and impious men is not shedding blood, but applying the laws. (St. Jerome, Commentary on Jeremiah, in Bellarmine, On Secular People or Laymen, ch. 13, ed. Tutino, p. 50)

Even worse than going against the Fathers, these bishops go against God Himself, for they reject His own divine words:

Whoever sheds man’s blood,
By man his blood shall be shed;
For in the image of God
He made man. (Genesis 9:6)

These devilish bishops war against God when He wrote through St. Paul:

Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same. For he is God’s minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God’s minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil. (Romans 13:2-4)

These bishops want to overthrow the ordinance of God and shatter the sword that the ruler does not hold in vain. They rather want the ruler to hold the sword in vain, they want it to remain rusty and brittle as the swords of criminals continue to bathe in human blood. These bishops go against the very words of God when He spoke through St. Paul that “the law is not made for a righteous person, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and for sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, for fornicators, for sodomites, for kidnappers, for liars, for perjurers, and if there is any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine, according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God which was committed to my trust.” (1 Timothy 1:9-11)

The death penalty is so condemned by these heretics, but the problem is that capital punishment is not used enough. When the death penalty is is prescribed to a criminal worthy of it, it takes decades for the sentence to be carried out, and as times goes on, and the mercy of fools prospers, we cannot help but say with Solomon, “Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.” (Ecclesiastes 8:11)

It seems that so many elements of the Catholic Church have nothing better to do than defend homosexual predators and the Islamic religion. Not only should the the death penalty be applied to Tsarnaev, but upon those worse than Tsarnaev, these damned bishops who defend them!
